I’m wandering about life as in why are we here what’s real and what’s not…….all the philosophical stuff if any of you have a perspective on it I would greatly appreciate your comments.

Proof comes in many forms, just depends on what you wish to see. If one day you believe that God is truly there and a miracle happens, that is proof. If you believe that good things come to everyone and you hear about a murderer getting a second chance at life, then is that not proof. I believe in the power of nature and the proof that supports that is the destructiveness of a magnitude 9 earthquake and the 20 foot tsunamis that have destroyed many people's homes, jobs and have taken thousands of lives.

There may be nothing to tell you what to believe, only what you feel to be true. If you feel that following everything one religion sets out for you to believe and doing everything that is stated is true, then it is.

If it hurts, it is real.

I have a odd way to sum up the truth about life, or at least as i see it take what you will from my view and if it helps i am glad to have given you something.

life is the constant persuit of what we feel is right and will bring us happiness, as we persue we come accross both challenges that give and take from us emotionaly and physicaly. We continue to pay the costs necassary to further reach twards our hopes and dreams but there are times when we dought even what it is we want. When this happens the best thing to do is remember what it is we wanted in the first place then take a look at what it is conflicting with currently in our lives, if the problems can be solved then the dream can be saved and accomplished.

Like i said this is only MY opinion, you all have your own but if mine helps i'm happy to have.

But seriously, I believe that there's no specific assigned "purpose" for each individual. We each find our own purpose and our own truth. If you find a path that works for you, follow it, and let others folow theirs. Just live the best life you can.

Life is.. pain, pleasure, happiness, tears, love, and death all at once. I think it's a challenge. Like a test that tells you where you go next. Have I seen this question on the forum before or have I gone mad?

Life has no meaning. We are here by chance and coincidence.

When the universe was created, initial variables not following linear calculations produced random anomolies. one of which is life.

There is no devine purpose, nor is are own individuality hold any true purpose in the meaning of life. The way each of us think and feel, is again non-linear product of an infinite pool of variables.

Because of the randomness of life, it cannot be predicted. And so we as a race, will create a purpose or destiny to compensate for that randomness, it gives us the belief that life has meaning and that we are here for a reason, when infact we are just here by chance.

Nothing is real;
Everything is real;
What something is, is not what it is;
All things are what they are;
Things are not defined;
They simply are....

Life = union of soul and body. your current state of existence.. and the way you chose to live it. One thing is for certain, it will last forever......

Think of it this way....

Everything you can see, the physical, that is... Constitutes less than 6% of actual space. When you look at the space your hand occupies, 94% of it is empty (Even though it looks solid).

Compound this with other things the human body is unable to see or sense (radio waves, oxygen, gravity, and more etheric elements such as thought), and you will come to realize that very little of what you think and assume to be real, really is.

I agree with Cancer... but I have to add,
We are an arrogant race at times to believe in trying to find the meaning of life when there are several dimensions exsisting right beside us that we cannot see or percieve. Let alone to think we are the only inhabited race in all the known solar system?? What about ALL the undiscovered universe, and all it contains? Immortal means power to understand this simply thought, you cannot get "It" right in one lifetime, period.

I'm more confused than i was to start.....................its not hard to confuse me but thank you for the info

life, errrrrrrrrrr quite.

We are on earth, because we must how to learn how to love. To love everybody on this horrible world is something a difficult suspect, because you would prefer to murder some you don't like. The second thing why we are on earth is that we have to learn what good is and what evil is.

no people, here it is, the birds and the bees. eh hum *cough clears throat and in sholarly voice* One day the male bird decided that he was lonesome, so he flew out of his nest to find a little purty female birdy. He flew around and around until suddenly he saw her. So he ducked and swopped and showed off his wings to get her attention. When she finally noticed she followed him back to his nest and there they made little baby birdys...ie, the truth is, your mom met you dad, they had fun and 9 months later BAM you popped out...the truth is what youu make it, and yes the truth comes from whatever you believe, your up-bringing, every little thing that goes on around you, open your eyes, what you see is there...the truth is what you make it...:^*
