Automatic writing:

I've done this for years, my sister also.

My question is have any of you experienced or even heard about it?

I'm curious to know how many people auto write with spiritual guides.


I will post of description if anyone wants to know what it is. I looked for a thread about this but...

In automatic writing an entity from another realm brings messages through by using a writing implement, a computer, or any other means of communicating through the written word.

Sometimes the messages come in foreign languages.

Often the person does not recognize their own handwriting.

Often spaces are not made between words, there is no punctuation, a picture or symbol is part of the writing.

Yes, I have had the privlege of being able to automatic write and draw. Usually draw, both on the computer and on paper. Sometimes I sketch, use charcoal, oils, acrylics, or colored pencils. I honestly cannot draw unless I am automatic drawing. I am also a psychic dreamer and when I was younger and over a period of about 2 years, I saw who my friends were going to marry, when and where. Every time I would dream about a wedding, while asleep, I would paint it out. My mum would quite often walk in my room as I was Painting. When my friends got married, I would give each of them the painting, with the date on it from when I had painted it and it always amazed them. Every time, I was correct.

Before I got pregnant with Queiviera and Eve, I had a dream about them and made several drawings of them. I wrote on the drawings when they would be born, how big, how long, gender, and what their names would be. This happened the day after I was told I would never be able to have children, let alone twins. Once again I was correct. It's very interesting to be an automatic writer/drawer. I really don't know how it works, but it is a wonderful gift.

i have heard of it. i thought it was a technique in relation to the Ouija board.

like the second phase of the same idea. obviously using a pen would be much quicker than the board.

one could say the Ouija board is for beginners and Auto-Writing for advanced

some times when i go into deep meditations ill start to auto write but most of the time i end up scratching things into my skin and now people think im crazy but automatic writing is a verry interesting topic good thread

Oh yeah! We used to do this at sleepovers all the time. Kinda like a different form of a Ouija board.
The automatic writing takes more energy from the opposing entity tha just pushing around the signifier or a Ouija board.

I've seen it done before... but I couldn't tell if it was fake or not. Unless I tried it and it worked, then I would believe... It's like spirits take over your body and you go into a trance like state, they use you as a kind of messanger.

I would imagine it being like giving up your body to share it with another spirit to communicate with. I've seen and heard about this on tv, etc. I have tried doing that myself but nothing ever happened.

Sounds interesting. How about automatic tatooing?

i wouldnt say i auto write with a spirit guide. but writing out magickal workings or song lyrics while in more of a free association or "trance" state can be usefull. the british sorcerer austin osman spare did alot of automatic drawing in connection with the "demon" spirits that he saw....basically all his artwork was done in a "trance" state.

Yes it is energy consuming, I've been plenty tired after session with my guides. Sometimes I can't concentrate right and will get angry spirits who just wish to scribble and say no over and over.

Just like the ouija experience, and it is for more of the expert. I recommend not trying by your self at first.

Yes, I've tried this as well, and it is very interesting what can appear. I've felt sometimes compelled to write but had a blank mind on what to write so I just started writing whatever my hand would write. It was messy in a way, like scribbling, but at least 50% of the message was legible, and it was nothing from my thoughts at all. The note seemed as if it was someone writing a warning to someone about something near the bell tower, to beware of danger, or something to that extent.
I haven't tried it in quite some time, but recommend doing it at least once.

There are a few that I talk to, more so than others. Some just want to talk, to be heard. A few that I have know for some time now like to talk about what I am doing and who I am dealing with.

Mmh I've tons of letters and notes, notepads with words and sentences. Complete sentence only come from spirits you have been talking with for a while. The ones that are comfortable with you. I'm going to take some pictures and post them.

i used to do that all the time, i have all my papers still that i did that on. i havent done resently. it used to freak me out alot but then i got used to it. people at school would be like wtf.

yes, Sometimes good, sometimes bad. When I'm really down and I've no one to talk to they help.

When I've lost my job and I'm trying to search for one, they give me suggestions.

hmmm that kinda looks like what mine look like lol. i think i used red pens more then any other color. i like to look at all mine sometimes just to see what i did. i might look at them tonight its really interesting to see what we write after we really dont know what we're doing.

I use to do it all the time, every day for a couple of years.

Now I only do it occassionally. When I was doing it all the time I became very tired.

I do it because I hear them. It's not something that I picked up or had a major accident and recieved this.

One day I was playing with a ouija and it's been here ever since. Specially the one I made contact with, he's the one I talk to the most.

oh and yes I can read them afterwards, you don't just have to use a pen and paper. A keyboard works also.

Like I said I've pages and pages. I won't post them all though, LOL maybe on my journal. Yeah I will do that.

seems to me like a type of accepted posession....little different in theory from the trance like dances of the santerians....
kniown commonly as being "ridden" by the spirits or"Loa"
only this would be more communicating with them instead of celebrating with them....

Yes it is a very interesting topic. And also a great tool to use for contacting Spirit. I have'nt tried myself but will. My friend uses a pendullum to help focus while doing his writing.

I haven't done it but I have read things. I would like it if you told me what you know about it. How it works exactly and stuff. I am still on the ouija board if you get my drift. . .

It works like a Ouija except you have to concentrate more and give over your arm. Feeling the energies around you.

You know when you are working with a Ouija you feel a push. Physically some force guiding your hand around the board. Most times I find it better to do this by yourself, only with spirits you've know and call for their help.

Automatic Writing is similiar, a step up. You would take a pen or pencil, what ever you find works for you.

Usually everyone's first experience it's mostly circle's and scribbling, or even making eyes.

i've heard of it and i heard of people using things like that to find peoples location etc... but never got into it.

its awesome but most of the time i just had dreams an i would draw them in the morning and some time in the week i would see the person i drew some where its so freaky but later i got used to it but my parents did't like me drawing the pictures cause you never what i'd see like i'd see penagrams and stuff two hated them dreams but this year i haven't had 1 single dream about it anymore i feel sad not having them

ive never auto writen as far as i know, but some of my friends have during school.

i have never hard of Automatic writing before but it sounds kind of kewl
