Okay thius is kinda tricky to get across but please bear with me here.
Ok if you were a real Vampire (powers and all) does that automatically mean you go evil??
I mean if a person gets ill they don't suddenly start random slaqughter of innocent because their body is goin through changes.
I know about the demonology (a lil) that comes with the Mythos of vampirism but what about the PERSON.
Would the power just POOF magically turn them evil or would it jus be a physical change and not a mental one meaning if a good person was "turned" would they still be a good person??
I mean this new power could be harnassed constructively rather than the mass conception of Destructively.

Vampires are powerful and power currupts.......the fact that you have to kill to live might erode your morals slightly as well lol

Yeah gotta agree, power corrupts and lets face it if the craving for blood is powerful and needed to survive...there is gonna be some potentially bas chit happening. Just like any addict, the need consumes you and you change. Well its a shot I guess...lol.

i think that it is upto the vampire if they wanna be evil or not
most of them want revenge of some sort so they turn evil but if you are pure harted then i think you wont go evil unless forced to be by other vampires

Ok, as Vanpires need blood to survive and if they drink blood from humans then they are evil its just the way its been done though the ages. TO drink the blood from a human is considered a sin or at least thats what I was told........mwaahhhhh

Well everyone has his different concept about vampires.

As for the movie vampires, they are always seen as evil,with a lot of powers and lots of stuff to impress people.As in the books a lot of times they remain the same but have to take blood from humans and that's considered as evil.

My opinion is it is up to the person to be evil or not.There's no need to be a vampire or other creature to be evil.Just look around the world is full of evil people.So yeah it's up to the person to decide,at least that's my opinion.

well power does corrupt..I would say this is true 85% of the time......
so I feel the majority would be too mentally weak to not be corrupted by it....
but some would pass the acid test....
and be all the more powerful for being in control.....instead of being controlled by it

No I dont think that getting powers and the physical change means definetly turning into evil.
In my opinion it wud very depend on the character of person. Some physical changes undergo changes also in psychic but it is not necesarry.
If u think of it - also in our times pl have some "special powers" in form of their better developed sences than its ussual, but its just up to them if they ll use it for good or bad...
And I think it wud be the same with vamps.

I mean you can't tell me the average Vamp needs 8 pints of blood a night thats not right really maybe jus a pint a night realistically and animal blood as well I mean blood is blood and I do agree power corrupts but also that much power would scare you senseless as well

well if a vampire needs blood to survive, that means they have to kill or at least harm people to do that, but I wouldnt say evil because they are doing that just to survive. We dont call a lion evil because it hunts an antelope? Now if a vampire was going about killing mortals just for fun, that would be evil... but I dont know really what makes a vampire want to or not want to do that.

i think it might have an effect on your body which makes you wanna be bad,,,, but your mind has the power to be a good bad person.... and keeping the badness to a minumum....

Knowing that you can get away with things ....things that deep down we all wanna do sometimes...muahaha....would definately make me just do bad things..evil things ..knowing I am not going to get caught....oh and maybe the being changed might help with the whole guilt thing....YAY!!...power..control...and lack of guilt...I would so go bad..hell yeah...LOL

Hmmm....I would think the process of living forever and all your powers could turn someone evil just as if you were to give someone a bunch of powerful bombs to do with what they wished.

I think that power is corrupt only when used badly.Still power is like a temptation,and when someone has power it is normal to feel superior.So maybe that's why it is used for the bad.Like revenge which is not always a bad thing...

However I don't want to go off topic lol.I think that when a person is a vampire he/she feels superior and a winner.So maybe that's why she/he uses her powers badly...

I don't believe it would automatically make you 'evil' or anything... I think it would be up to the person to act either good or evil themselves. It's all up to what kind of decisions they make.

I think that it would be different for each individual person and why/ how they got bit. Humans have free will to be good or bad, so why can't vampires have it too?
Vampires bite for their food and kill/hurt us. But we slaughter animals all the time. Who are we to say that it's evil for them to hurt us when we kill so many?

it wudnt make u automatically evel, ud still have a choice weather u wanted to be good or evil, it depends on how uve lived ur life, but i dont think it wud automatically turn u evil.

I agree with yourdarkness and nightstalkervamp. Just because you are a vampire does not mean that you have to go around killing the innocent. You choose to do that all on your own..

there can be good vamps and bad ones too...it is ones decision, not anyone elses

good and evil is all from the prespective of each person......go up to a mobster and ack if you think hes "evil" and he'll probably slap you through a wall. Therefore there is no real way anyone can say someone is "good" or "evil"

There is always someone or something more powerful. I mean fate alone is a very powerful thing, nothing can control it really. So I think that, that keeps even the most powerful in line.

I think we would be like humans just we want blood and being evil depends on what we do.

well, its obvious to me that most on here are only guessing. Strange how you can guess and believe.. if you are one of the ones guessing and pointing it out as fact.. you should read up on the vampire termonolgy.. what vampires believe isnt what you guess. there are evil vampires as well as good vampires.. they are no different than humans when it comes to choice rather.. they are at a disadvantage because to be completed as a vampire, part of the rit is to drink the blood of your sire.. if your sire is evil then your battle to be good is more difficult than others just as if you were born and raised in a gang infested town such as compton california as a human your battle to remain out of the gang would be more difficult than joebob on the farm in the middle of nowhere oklahoma ..per se.. c'mon you all.. stop speculating such trival things without an advisor.. geeesshhh a vampire does not have to drink 8 pints of blood to remain alive or "get power".. usually only takes less than a gulp.. sometimes, less than a drop of human blood and no humans do not give power to vampires.. gesshh.. the human blood gives life..energy.. whatever you want to call it to give the vampire strength to perform those ..kinda like water to a flower.. y'all watch too many movies and take them as facts.. there is such a thing as blood drunk but perhaps that is another forum.

When a vampire is born, it must kill to survive, unless not driven by the unquenshible( or how ever you spell it) thirst. Killing humans, angers other humans, so sometimes there is no choice.

Personally I believe it would largely depend on what the person was before they turned into a vampire. If they were evil before then they would be evil afterwards probably much worse. But I don't believe that the vampire itself is an evil creature, just one that has different abilities and now requires a different life sustaining source [instead of eating food to survive, now requires blood or energy]

I prefer the service of light but there is a mixture of cultures as well as a mixture of intentions

How about this everyting is here for a reason good and evil have a balance of sorts... So just what is evil and exactly what is good ??? Some say americans are evil and others say another race or origin is ...So who is right and who is wrong ?? Everything is in perspective of the on who sees it.....

there is good and bad in everything and with out one you cant have the other i think that they might not nessicarily chose to do somethign evil but even if they do its still a choice a choice to kill or be kille they have to get blood generally to live right so you have to kill a few people right its not really right to say that they shoudl die because they kill people but thats the chain of life there are more of us then them in theory so they keep us from over growing the only way to slow population is to either stop birth or start death

I believe it doesn't change the person. I believe only when they are straving for blood they "vamp out" so to speak and they cannot control themselves and hurt anyone in sight to get what they need to make the pain stop.
