why do you think that "god " or whatever you beleve in put us here i really do not get it if god is so good why did he make us with so many improfections...... i do not get how all of the vampires came to be here it is like it is what he wanted us to look like but we were to evil and he like started over or did he just put us here wile he was in a bad mood ... i do not know these are my thoughts on this how do you feel we came to be here?

Ummm... The reason why I stated God was because she spefically mentioned God at the beginning [okay exactlly stated: "god " or whatever you beleve in put us here]. So I guess to cover the "whatever you beleve in put us here" people, think how boring it would be if everyone were exactly the same.

my suggestion if you wish to get God at all, is to talk with Him. the Bible so not such a good idea for this endeavor though, it only tells of what He was like 2000 years ago.

Well because of the whole freedom of choice we can do what we want. If I remember correctly vampires originated in a legend linking Adam and Lilith (Lilith I believe was a babylonian goddess of some sort, and supposedly Adams first wife). Anyways their offspring where some sort of vampires I believe. Then God banished her from Eden and made Eve

First off I just wanted to state that the bible isnt just telling what God was like 2,000 years ago. It tells of God AND Jesus among other things and is also filled with prophecies of the future to come. But I am a Christian and dont want to fight about this touchy subject so thats all I am going to say...

It is so hard to believe that some omnipitant being could really have made evey tree and animal for a unique purpose... thats why I dont really believe it. I dont honestly know how to contemplate the prpose of vampires, as not everything is always purposeful... however mystery is vital, to maintain the mystery in these elements ;-)

It isn't good to stop thinking. But it also isn't good to strain your brain over something that just isn't worth it. Questions are good but my view on these sorts of subjects is it's just another worthless thing to worry about. To me no matter what being you are it's important to live. Higher powers and why we're here seem irrelevant when compared to surviving in this world.

Good point. but theres nothing wrong in a bit of healthy mind expansion to take us down a peg or two... so often we get obsessed with surviving, that we froget to think outside the box.

its funny how when we question another species existance we automatically question our own exsistance... How vampires got here and how we got here are two unsolved mysteries... along with how did the earth get here and how life came about being... According to the bible God created these creature very much like us except they lacked a soul. He was dissatified with them and created Adam. Lillith became Adam's first wife but then God created Eve and shunned his first creation. After Cain killed Abel and God banned Cain from his family, Cain went off to the city that contained the original creation and Cain married Lillith and their children started our vampyric species... now this may or may not be true but its what I have heard from many kin... feel free to correct me or add to it...

I've basically heard the same adpatation, LadyAshlee. However, thats also making an assumption. Like questioning existence is brought onto ourselves, religion is always brought onto one religion in particular, instead of something that may contradict our theories.

Well, for me I belive that there has to be something out there bigger than us or whatever, but I dont believe in the little jagged pill called Christainty persay, but we might have been put here to be his "play things", for me there are many different ways of looking at this topic, but don't think I'm closed minded for not beliving in the exact deffinintion "god" or whatever. As I do not believe in God, I cannot honestly refer to anything of knowledge specifically wen referring to selection byan omnipitant, but as StarryEyesSix mentioned, if good and evil are indeed existant, then maybe that answers the question in terms of the existance of vampires.

I was having a simular conversation such as this one with my loved one the other day. Perhaps, what ever reason we are here is for all of us to meet. Though many believe in living and seeknig alone, the rest of us would like to see others views on what they think they might be. It's simply because everyone wants to know more. It's human nature to want, and we must admit, though the most of us are born into 'darkness,' we all start off believing we're humans.

i personaly dont believe in God so if vampires are here then its not his doing. however if there is a God then there must be an opposite i.e the Devil so it could b his bright idea to creat vampires. not to say that all vampires are evil coz there not lol

Many things were taken from the bible in the Laodecia concil, when emperor Arian decided what should or should not be known to chritianity. Including the Book of Enoch, where he speaks of Nephilims, and, in my interpretation, The Fallen became in fact vampires. They were giants, and there was no food left for them, so they started to feed on humans. Don't you see a resemblence? This, of course, following the line of the bible. On the other hand, Man stoped having real mass predators a long time ago, so vampires can be just a question of evolution.
