ok everyone i want to know what all of you think! Do you think vampirism is a way of life or no I think it is but i want to know what everyone else thinks!

I always considered it just what you are-some people makeit a choice, some just accept that it is what we are-I always looked at it as something I was growing towards and working myself up to

Yes... its a life style, once you have been changed you have to make exceptions and changes in your normal life so then obviously it is a way of life

Well I live my life this way cause I know no other way I was born into this life the way I am both my mother and father are the same and so on. so yes it is a way of life as well as a state of mind....

I think it can be either one you choose. You can make it both or have on or the other. The only person that knows that, is you.

to tell the truth, I do not belive vampires to be rel. My whole I have dreampted to become one. I have been fanatic since I saw the Bram Stokers version of vampires. I belive that it all came from a folk tale famers would tell their kids to make them behave. I also belive that the fabrications came from the real Dracula back in the 1800s where the king of Transyvania would kill prisoners and stick their bodys on metal stake poles next to him while he was eating and blood got on the food and false info was brought in as each generation heard the story.

depends how seriously u want to take the vampirism, i think it is a way of life but have seen many posers who make me think differently

vampiristic lore of not being able to go out in sunligh and such is totaly not true we prefer the night for hunting and the only ppl who live as fictional vampires are thoose vampire the masqurade rpg ppl

Vampyrism is a real condition that affects many. If you mean the whole goth scene, drinking of blood, and what not, that tends to be a trend that a lot of people who want to be, or are, follow. Me personally, I dress in white t shirts and blue jeans and sandels. I do ingest blood, but that is because of what road I'm off, not because its "The Vampire" way, its because I gain more of a feeling of health from its consmption, then through psy drawing.

For me it is a way of life or actually a way of lives .....It is who and what I am and I have accepted that...

I personally think it is a way of life and so do many of my freinds.

I find it as a way of life to a point. Whether you are a vampire or not you are still gonna dress the way you want to, do what you want to, live how you want to live, and meet and be with who you want to live or be with. I am a vampire and i dont always dress in the worlds personification of "vampire clothes". I wear what i want when i want and thats just it plain and simple, well thats my feeling anyway

it depends on the person, if they want vampirism to control their life, then yes, if its like a part time thing, then no...really depends

simply it is a state of mind wich creates the way you live your life, like any religion or anything like that, just all depends on what you want.

i am not into it but i think that i am going to get into it with my man but i can't really tell u if it is the life to live or not but i would think that it is a great life to live from what all my friends tell me i mean i have been into witch craft but that is nothing like it so u are just going to have to figure that one out on yourself noone can really tell you that answer they can tell u yes and everything but unless u try it u will never know the right answer.

Well, having met and conversed with a few of the "real" (not cyber) Sires who do have Vampiric Houses , and talked to them of their lifestyles.. yes it is very real lifestyle. To be honest, I used to be sceptial about this but after a lot of research, and thought.. I say, fair credit to those who have acheived and lived the style of life of their own choosing. I will never mock that. I admire their conviction to live the belief.

i belive its a way of life but thats the way ive grown up my whole family(besides my mom and grandma) are into vampireism and i feel that its a way of life because if your like me you crave the taste of blood and if you crave something it incorperates itself into your life

Personally, I think it is a way of life for some, but not for all who have the 'bloodlust'. It may not fit into one person's life as it would another. Perhaps it all depends on how much they desire the blood and how available it is for them to acquire it.

I definitely think it is a way of life whether you've chosen it or it's chosen you....

I felt like I really had to post on this one, but after reading what Romman and scionofrequiem wrote, why repeat after them? I completelly agree with you both. For some people, it's not a choice or a fashion issue, what so ever. For others it might be, and why not, but there are real vampires and that may have nothing to do with fangs or no fangs, Sun light, garlic & cross-phobia. That's amusing folklore and RPG standards that do not apply to living real vampires. It's a condition, and I'm not talking about Porfiria.

Oh i definitly believe that vampireism is a way of life for some, not for me, but for some people yes, and thank goodness it is, because they make our life so much more interesting, in a good way.

There are so many things that you have to change about the way you are used to living, and so there it is.

It would all depend on how you feel about it or not. If you believe that you are a child of the night then you accept the life style to fit it.

Define "Lifestyle"?
If you mean dressing in black and not going out all day, being nocturnal, ect, then no, I don't think it's a requirement to be a vampire. We come from all walks of life, from construction workers, to stock brokers, Lawyers, Professors, ect. Some of us look so damn "normal" you'd never believe we were vamps.
For me, It would be real hard to define a "vampire lifestyle". To quote a favorite movie of mine "we eat, we sleep, we shit, we fuck, we die and we kill" such is all of our lives as it were.....
