Does anyone know anything of the Count St. Germain?

Who he really was? What he really was? Did he actually exist? Was he truly immortal?

Or was he a complete mad man? Or just really witty and clever?

I want to know what you think or what you know.

Here is a link to the story I found on him:

http://www.dark-stories.com/eng/count_st_germain.htm

Here is a small tidbit about him from wikipedia:

The Count of St. Germain (fl. 1710–1784) has been variously described as a courtier, adventurer, charlatan, inventor, alchemist, pianist, violinist and amateur composer, but is best known as a recurring figure in the stories of several strands of occultism – particularly those connected to Theosophy and the White Eagle Lodge, where he is also referred to as the Master Rakoczi or the Master R and as one of the Masters of the Ancient Wisdom, is credited with near god-like powers and longevity. Some sources write that his name is not familial, but was invented by him as a French version of the Latin Sanctus Germanus, meaning "Holy Brother." [1][2][3]

Now you've done it. St. Germain is my mentor. I am his protege. I am about as informed as the best of them when regarding this topic as I have been an understudy of his for years.

A good piece of reference material would be the: Most Holy Trinosophia . "This is the only book attributed to the mysterious, supposedly immortal Comte St. Germain. (see The Comte de St. Germain, by Isabel Cooper-Oakley). This parallel French and English edition was self-published in 1933 and introduced by Manly Hall (33rd Degree Master Mason), who also wrote The Secret Teachings of All Ages. The Trinosophia is an allegorical account of spiritual initiation, in the vein of The Chymical Marriage. Whether Hall's claim that St. Germain was (or is) a key Rosicrucian figure is true or not, this is indeed one of the rarest of occult books. It appears here for the first time on the Internet."

In this book, the reader will gain a great barring on who the Compte was. From my sources, he is still alive and resides in the himalayan region, until the time comes for his work to be done once more.

He also is a contributer of a book entitled: Saint Germain on Alchemy - Formulas for Self Transformation. Within this book he outlines every principal to the rites and art of the "Higher Self" and how when used properly once can obtain unknown dreams.

Does anyone else have anything to contribute???

Also, I forgot to ask.

Do you think he was real over a fair amount of years, but then imposters took over to continue him?

The Compte did come into play as differant people, but his image stays fairly the same. He always has those eyes that seem as though they have care for the whole of the world. The eyes get you every time. Though he disappears from time to time throughout the centuries, he always comes back in the same mannerisms.

Most think that he is not of this dimension but is a dimensional traveler that was charged with the protection of the Earth. Or at least the awareness thereof.

As he travels though dimensions, he is always seen as the same height, build, blue eyed wonder the world has witnessed before. He will again be coming around the year 2012 to help in a certain way that will remain unknown for the time being. But rest assured, he will make his presence known.

Others of the Ascended heirarchy will make follow suite soon after him. Thus, the rumours of a new Golden Age is on its way. Realistically, the world has absolutely no idea what is about to happen on the metaphysical and dimensional levels.

I do sort of take offense though in relating him with Crowley, La Vey and such. He was/is nothing like them at all.

Though he is an adept at hermetics and the Enochian ways, he does not study the negative aspects of them. He is a universalist, he only does good for the world. He is the most humble and well mannered individual the world would ever meet. Many could learn from him.

I read the article, very interesting and with all such tales no doubt there are elements of truth.

I do not know the case in question but I have the following words of care perhaps wisdom.

During these periods the churches/nobles and powers that be were just as adept at manipulating the masses as they are today.

Such stories were popular and gave the people something to gossip about other than moaning about their taxes. One such well documented story from Dorking...a large stone that cursed the local river and a heavy horse that drank of it would kill weary travellers.
The stone would bleed into the river.

Luckily the church intervened and the cursed blood stone was taken all the way to Cornwall and hurled into the sea.
Thing was there was no TV or cinema in those days so it gave the masses something to do.

My second favourite historical figure.

Sometimes SS, your statements hit me from left field, and I have to go scrambling to make sense of it, and other times I have to admit I am not ready for that leap.

You are implying that he is a "hero figure/role model" to you and not actually your mentor? (as in someone you have met.)

I do not think that it is one individual...

I think that it is most likely that if a being such as this existed, that it would use a willing proxy, instead of frequent direct medling from another plane, or time.

It may be an aspect of the holy ghost: somewhere between manifestation of godhead, and epiphany; akin to Joan of Arc, where the host maintains the bulk of it's identity, with a strong directional push; or like an "angel"/celestial with an overdeveloped sense of romanticism, and an affinty for specific characteristics, influencing an individual.

However I love the romantacism of it being one individual, so, if SS says he is not in NOLA, I'm going to have to stop looking for "him" there.
*laughs*
Well.... maybe he will be there in 2012... it's well within the territory, and the possible cataclysm of 2012 is suposed to involve water...

I will neither comfirm nor denie that I have met the man.

I can say that he still owns the mansion in New Orleans that is or used to be part of the Haunted History Vampire Tour. The mansion is located between St. Philip and Urseline streets on Rue Royal. He bought it around the turn of the Century in the 1900's.

One part of the story goes, that an individual known as Jack started to appear in the late 1990's before, during and after a power outtage that sent the French Quarter into a black out that lasted for about an hour or so. Though I cannot remember the length of time for the black out.

This Jack individual was rumoured to have been a vampire because as a witness's testimony went: He had long cold fingers, skeletal like with long finger nails, motioned me for a light and said it was a nice night out for Jack. Then when he proceeded to hold my hand, my friends appeared. I looked there way but when I looked back, he was gone." Later that night, she said that she heard a scratching sound outside her 3rd floor window and saw him when she opened the blinds. When the police came to investigate, they notice claw marks on both sides of the wall outside the window.

It is unknown as to whether or not it was St. Germain but they say that when you put two and two together. Jack in French is Jacques after all. The individual that bought the property went by the name of Jacques St. Germain and came directly from France, where St. Germain's last know location was.

These are the names that St. Germain has used throughout his travels:

Embodied as:

Ruler of a Golden Age civilization in the area of the Sahara Desert 70,000 years ago.

High priest on Atlantis approximately 13,000 years ago, serving in the Order of Lord Zadkiel in the Temple of Purification, located where the island of Cuba now is.

Prophet Samuel, 11th century B.C. Religious leader in Israel who served as prophet, priest, and last of the Hebrew judges.

Plato, 427 - 347 B.C., Greece. He studied with students of Pythagoras in Crotona and scholars in Egypt. He established his own school of philosophy at the Academy in Athens.

Saint Joseph, 1st century A.D., Nazareth. Husband of Mary and Guardian of Jesus.

Saint Alban, late 3rd or early 4th century A.D., town of Verulamium, renamed St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. He was the first martyr in England. He had sheltered a fugitive priest, became a devout convert to Christianity, and was put to death for disguising himself as the priest so he could die in his place.

Hesiod, circa 700 B.C., Greece. Poet whose writings serve as a major source for knowledge of Greek mythology and cosmology.

Proclus, circa 410 - 485 A.D., Greece. The last major Greek Neoplatonic philosopher, who headed the Platonic Academy in Athens and wrote extensively on philosophy, astronomy, mathematics, and grammar.

Merlin, England. Assisted King Arthur (503 - 579 A.D.), at Camelot and inspired the establishment of the Order of the Knights of the Round Table.

Roger Bacon, circa 1220 - 1292 A.D., England. Philosopher, educational reformer, and experimental scientist; forerunner of modern science renowned for his exhaustive investigations into alchemy, optics, mathematics, and languages.

Organizer behind the scenes for the Secret Societies in Germany in the late 14th and early 15th centuries A.D. The creation of a fictional character named "Christian Rosenkreuz" was apparently inspired by his efforts.

Christopher Columbus, 1451 - 1506 A.D. Believed to have been born in Genoa, Italy and settled in Portugal. Discovered America in 1492 during first of four voyages to the New World sponsored by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain.

Francis Bacon, 1561 - 1626 A.D., England. Philosopher, statesman, essayist and literary master, author of the Shakespearean plays, father of inductive science and herald of the scientific revolution.

Sir Francis Bacon made it appear that he died on Easter Sunday 1626, and he even attended his own "funeral" in disguise. He traveled secretly to Transylvania (now part of Romania) to the Rakoczy Mansion, where he continued preparations for his physical Ascension under the direct training of the Master R (Great Divine Director). He had incarnated in that area a number of times in previous lifetimes and felt particularly at home there.

Since Francis Bacon was sighted in the area at various times over the following decades, some local people speculated that he might be a member of the Rakoczy family (possibly related to Prince Ferenc Rakoczy II of Transylvania). Finally on May 1, 1684 he attained his physical Ascension.

Not wanting to leave humanity in the physical octave without his direct visible assistance, he asked the Karmic Board for a special Dispensation to allow him to function in a physical tangible body among embodied mankind for a limited time period - even though he was already an Ascended Master.

He was granted his request at the direct intercession of the Goddess of Liberty, and reappeared as:
Le Comte de Saint Germain, the "Wonderman of Europe" in the 18th and 19th centuries A.D.. He developed a reputation of being an outstanding alchemist, scholar, linguist, musician, artist and diplomat.

He worked behind the scenes to try to establish a United States of Europe and to prevent the bloodshed of violent revolution. His powers included bilocation, appearing at court and then dissolving his form at will, removing flaws from diamonds and other precious stones, and precipitating an elixir that prevented aging. He was also ambidextrous and could compose simultaneously a letter with one hand and poetry with the other, or two identical pieces of writing with each hand.

He visited Marie Antoinette and her intimate friend, Madame d'Adhémar, who later wrote the story of his abilities as an Adept, and that he had warned of the coming debacle and death of the king and queen. He also worked behind the scenes with George Washington and Benjamin Franklin to establish the United States of America.

Ascended Master Saint Germain is now known as "The God of Freedom" for the Earth and, since May 1, 1954, the Hierarch for the "Dawning Golden Age" in this current Aquarian Age cycle. The name "Saint Germain" is the name that Francis Bacon chose as his Ascended Master name upon his physical Ascension from the Rakoczy (Rákóczi) Mansion in Transylvania. It comes from the Latin Sanctus Germanus, meaning "Holy Brother".

I'm a very open-minded person SS, but I fail to see anything that links these people as all being this St. Germain. I'm not saying your wrong or that I don't believe you, but anyone can make a list of important names in history and say they were those people. Where is the link the binds all these people as this St. Germain?

SS I do understand what you are saying, I do understand there is evidence.

It is the quality of the evidence that I am questioning and thus its validity.
If one had a photography with signed manuscripts by those with "no vested inetrest" it would be A1 evidence.

Much of this is second hand testimony by those who could influence such sightings at the time. Can you say hand on heart you are impartial.

News sells, it does now and it did back then.
Also common sense pulls up large red flags, a man seen with long fingernails...etc
That is just silly, if he wanted to remain anonymous he would have them clipped or wear a Berke like some vamps do.
He is also either mentally unstable or totally inconsistent, he seems to spend most of his time hiding then pops up anouncing who he is every now and again...why would he do that?
more likely these were sa individuals jumping on the bandwagon for attention, fame or religious reasons.
After all they prove Christs great power, of eternal life.

note to reader- he has been sadly absent in my own life but i've seen some wicked dark stuff. TFS.

To list St. Germain (a common figure in every two bit occult shop) with such great figures of history is hysterical. Bacon? Really!! To link him to 2012 is as sane as the president of Iran who claims that the twelveth Iman is living in a well in a remote section of Iran. He claims that the Iman will soon leave the well to start the end of days. He encourages loyal followers to leave notes in the well so the Iman can grant their hearts desires.

It is believed that Saint Germain was born in 1561. As he grew into adulthood he mastered all of the European languages. He was one of the best swordsmen of his day. He was a master violinist.

He was a personal friend of Voltaire, Rousseau, and a great many other distinguished philosophers. He knew many European heads of state. He was known as "the man who never dies and knows everything".

He was very wealthy, but no one knew how he had accumulated his great wealth. He was a great painter and musical conductor. He had an extensive knowledge of herbalism. Some feel that this attributed to his long life. He was a master alchemist. It is said that he could turn base metals into gold.

He founded Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry in England. He did this under the name Francis Bacon. It was his dream to create in America a new country free of corruption, greed, and dictatorial monarchies. He was instrumental in formulating the Declaration of Independence and the constitution of the United States as they were being written by his Masonic followers who founded this nation. Their Masonic symbols can be seen on the dollar bill.

He spent eighty five years with the Trans-Himalayan Brotherhood which was made up of El Moyra, Kuthumi, Djwhal Khul, and others.

He lived for over 350 years, staging his death between lifetimes. As a writer he used the names Christopher Marlowe, Edmund Spenser, Montaigne, Robert Burton, Cervantes, Valentine Andraes, and Comte de Gabalis.

ok I read all this and alot more yet, to me I feel ther is no way he lived 350 years. but, hey that is me, I think he was a very talented and educated man and nothing more. Grant it he made sure he was published and known but so are many in history, as for immortal not so mych. I mean if he was Immortal than where is he now and why not still share his intellect on things of today.

He is dead and just another historical person in some aspects of history yet not any that I feel is of importance, but, that is my *OPINION* and others are free as I am to think what they wish.

still this is very interesting as I said I had not ever heard of him till I read this thread. So thanks for that.

The objective could be that in the fraternal idealism, one man could represent the whole as he would be duelly "tyled" to do such.

Yes, St. Germain was raised a Master Mason, as well as his counter-parts such as Francis Bacon and rumoured to be Albert Pike. Though it is speculated as such that Pike was St. Germain incarnate. I wouldn't doubt it though. Hell, even Voltaire knew St. Germain personally, look it up. I think Voltaire wrote about him... ""A man who knows everything and who never dies," said Voltaire of the Comte de Saint-Germain.

As far as proof? I can understand the need for such since the whole of the world would be so incline as to say that there is not an individual in the world above them in intellect, experience, knowledge or what have you. Since they themselves have yet to attain such a station and would look to that individual like zealots look at claimed witches before they burned them at the stake.

Something are worth accepting if one opens their heart and not look at things from a synics point of view.

I hope you were not referring to me SS I know I have a hard tiem believing a peson is immortal or lived for over 300 years unless they are from the most northern parts of china where you age slower due to the altitue etc.

Yet, I do not think that I am smarter or anyhting in that area by any means there are alot of people alive and dead that I admire and enjoy learning about because of their intelligence. I always want to debate and even listen and learn things from people far more superior than I am on many levels.

The only part i am not sure of with him is his age or immortality.

I am still reading many htings on him.

The comment was ment toward all members in general. Since most members that reply in an arbitrary fashion but ask for proof at times. This happens with those who claim the entitlement of vamp"y""/"i"re as well. Or something that is too extreme to believe such as an immortal being or other association within that perameter.

Here is a brief piece of information for some "real evidence" regarding Germain:

"The man known as the Count of Saint-Germain or le Comte de Saint-Germain as he is more commonly known (also known as "der Wundermann", meaning the wonder man in German) is a figure of mystery whose legend has grown in the last 200 years since his death, or supposed death according to some. There are several conflicting versions of his early life one being, that he was born in 1710 in Portugal, a Sephardic Jew. Another account said his name was Francis Ragoczy and that he was a prince from Transylvania who made a living from the trade of jewels. What is known for certain is that Saint-Germain spoke all European languages fluently, had a complete knowledge of history, was a composer of music and was able to play the violin very well. He was most famous for his amazing skills in medicine and alchemy, especially for transmuting metals into gold and having a secret technique for removing flaws from diamonds. He was also said to be the inventor of Masonry (since he claimed to be thousands of years old) as well as a skilled Cabalist (see Kabbalah), rarely ate in public and always dressed in black and white.

The first real evidence for the existence of Saint-Germain comes in a letter from 1743, where the English writer Horace Walpole (the author of The Castle of Otranto, the first gothic novel) mentions his presence in London and in the English court. Saint-Germain was soon expelled having been accused of being a spy for he Stewart pretenders to the English crown. Saint-Germain went to France around 1748, becoming a favorite of Louis XV who employed him as a spy several times and exerted great influence over that monarch. Around 1760 Saint-Germain was forced to leave France and returned to England where he met the Count Cagliostro and taught him the Egyptian Rite of Freemasonry. In 1762 Saint-Germain was found in St. Petersburg, playing a very important part in the conspiracy to make Catherine the Great Queen of Russia. After returning to Paris in 1770, he traveled through Germany, eventually settleling in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. There he studied the "Secret Sciences" with the landgrave Charles of Hesse and was said to have died in 1784. Some people disagree with this date for his death, since he was said to have been in Paris in 1789, during the French Revolution. Since 1789 Saint-Germain is said to have been seen all over the world, appearing to many famous occultists as well as normal people, both in spirit and in flesh."

That's a lot more believable info. As MasqueradeDoll said, the only part I don't believe is that he was immortal and lived forever. I don't doubt that he was a great person, but the list you posted earlier is a bit far-fetched as some of the people on it are only rumored to exist themselves and have no history on them other than stories.

Thank you SS that is a very interesting and also thank you for the link.

yet, I am still not sold on the whole age thing yet. LOL but, do not get me wrong as I stated there are reported cases of people living to be very very old in the farest northern mountains of china. So I try to be objective of anyone who may of lived many years.

I mean my own grandparents were in their 100's when passing my Gpa was 100 my grandma 101 so.. yet, to live pass 120 + is always soem thing I am skeptical about, since I work in the medical field. so i see more death than aged old people.

I do thank you for the info and link tho' .. ;)

Anyone who reads the Trinosophia may gain an understanding as to why he does not age and what his ultimate mission may be perceived to be. The Trinosophia has most of the answers that have been in question thus far.

I think he was well educated aristocrat from transylvania in Romania, I heard that he possesed the Philosopher's stone through his secret alchemical work.

People beleive that he died in England at an old age. Some people beleived that he was recarnated and is still around in the world today. I don't beleive in it, because there's no evidence to prove that he was immortal. He fled to England, because the French were going to arrest him as a English spy, so he spend the rest of his life in England.

SS, i dont mean to seem thick, but im not understanding...your saying you have a mentor that currently resides in the area around nepal/tibet that has lived for a number of centuries now? werent you one of the ones recently that stated unequivocally that immortality (even of a limited sort) isnt possible and vampires were hogwash?
im willing to set aside my disbelief in st. germain, but do you have more evidence? are you being on the square here? i mean really on the level?

Immortality is improbable, unless one understands the ways of quantum mechanics as well as Germain. Vampires are hogwash as far as this area is concerned, since they are based on a speculated franchise myth.

Physical evidence would be running through paperwork from the New Orleans area representing the House of Jacques St. Germain that he still owns on the corner of Rue Royal and Urseline.

I am only allowed to show what I have permission to show. Other then that, we can speculate all we wish to regarding this topic.

If I were to research further into this subject, I would buy a few books in relation to it. Or do a deep search online with a few base key words, such as St. Germain and the Tibetan region, or St. Germain and the 7th Ray.

I am always on the level when it comes to the Compte, as he is also a Master Mason. As far as this is concerned, he was speculated to have influenced Freemasonry. This can be found online.

as far as the Tibetan theory follows, here is a paragraph for this audience:

"The brotherhood of Khe-lan was famous throughout Tibet, and one of their most famous brothers was an Englishman who had arrived one day during the early part of the twentieth century from the West. He spoke every language, including the Tibetan, and knew every art and science, says the tradition. His sanctity and the phenomena produced by him caused him to be proclaimed a Shaberon Master after a residence of but a few years. His memory lives to the present day among the Tibetans, but his real name is a secret with the Shaberons alone."

The link to this history lesson is here

If one is wise enough and their frequencies are high enough, they too may communicate with the Compte on a higher level. This does not mean that he resides in another dimension, it simply means that anyone with a higher awareness may communicate with him at anytime. Thus, he is my mentor and has been for a very, very long time.

The audience may speculate all they wish, but when the time comes.. The truth will be revealed. As well as his true identity and name. The St. Germain name given is a simple latin term in context with his station.

Okay, I can take a leap and believe that someone can live way beyond the normal life expectancy. (Think of the Bible and it's claims of the life spans of people in it.) I can even accept faking death and taking on different names - but I see absolutely no link between St. Germain and Columbus! Would you please site your sources on the Columbus/St. Germain tie? Columbus just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the people mentioned... Also realize that just because it's stated so in a book doesn't make it so: a theory is just a theory until it is proven.

My mind is still open, but even an open mind needs a logical reason (proof) to believe.

I would say Sir Isaac Newton had more knowledge then St Germain. Sir Isaac Newton was Europes' leading alchemist, and had puplished more work in science and religion.

St Germain was not his real name and his date of birth was unknown, the theory is that he could of been a spy hiding his real indentity. Another theory is that he may he been born in an aristocratic family, so he was well educated from a wealhy family.

There were a lot of frauds in those days claiming to possess the Philosophers stone to deceive and con people. In those days alchemy was found to be an illegal practice, and if anyone was caught they would be hanged on a gilded scaffold to make a public display.

St Germain could of tricked people into thinking he was immortal, because he was supposed of died in England.
I think St Germain gained his knowledge from the secret occult societies' and the freemasons. It's all about growth and development of knowledge. He was a member of the secret fraternity of the freemasons.

He was just a normal living mortal man just like other occultists, scientists and prophets.

Sir Isaac Newton was also a member of the secret societies'.
