I am having problems with My past lives... How can I see more of them, or more from some I have see some of?

Why would you want to? I think people worry to much over past or future lives and not enough on the life they are living now. It is the only one we can change or enjoy here in the now.

in my opinion i think our past life kinda effects our lives we live now it could be one spirit maybe the soul was not satisfied with the outcome with the past life thats wat i think

They allways say the key to the future is hidden in the past.Maybe you should try regression to remember the past

I’ve heard meditation can be helpful in learning of ones past life. Learning to control the inner conscious and unlocking the information within. I personally have never tried it, as I’m not too worried of past lives, I look to the future. I do agree though that one may learn from their past live, the mistakes they made that may help in making this life even better. One does not want to repeat the past over and over.

I can see the point as to why someone would wish to visit their previous lives in memory, this is because in theory, those lives may reflect the persona(s), attitude(s) and or thinking pattern(s), that the individual has present day.

If the individual thinks they act more like a Victorian English variety, Wild West Cowboy, Swashbuckler, Knight, Samurai, etc. These qualities could qualify that individual into thinking they could have been these things in their past lives.

Certain dreams could be cause by these memories as well. Meditation, movie watching, or certain types of music could bring out those memories that lay dormant inside the mind.

One could also connect to those lives by hypnosis.

I have read where past lives....determind our karma of this life.

I have also watched a program on I think the history Channel where he did not believe in past lives.
So he went to someone who put him under hypotizes
and he seen himself drawing a painting of a woman.
He set off to every art gallery, etc to look for this painting.
Two years later he found the art painting just as he had painted it supposely in his former life.

I don't know much about reincarnation...all I know is that I get de ja vu alllllll the time and that it can be related to reincarnation!

sometimes only time is the key but you can also try self hypnosis as well,sometimes a dejavu can trigger a past life experience or memmory

I have dreams of longs past,and have dejavus as though I already been there.And faces seem familiar.Maybe these are combination of reincarnation.I don't anyone can tell really.They say hypnosis work in unlocking memories.Do I believe in it ,yes most definitely.

i think our past is somewhat of a guideline to how our future is,of course the past matters just as the present and future do as well,i think reincarnation is something that is very interesting.

our past tells us where we come from....and i dont think we can go to a location so well unless we know where we really are....and for that you must know how you got here.

hypnosis is prolly the best way but meditation can also help and paying attention to your dreams.

I was taught differently about all of this so this is a hard one for me to answer. I believe we are living many lives in and out of the physical at the same time and in the past, present and future. If your mind cannot conceive of this sort of thing, non-linear time, then all you will pick up on is most likely the past lives. There are many ways to find out although it doesn't mean there is any accuracy and I am not advocating for more than one lifetime because there is only anecdotal evidence. This is a belief and karma is a belief which many attach to it all. It is relatively new that westerners believe in any of this because it all stems from other religious beliefs not connected to Judeo/Christianity which is a belief many have at least in the west.

You could see a reader, trance channelor, go through hypnosis, or a guided meditation where you could commune with your own personal guides, search the akashic records through your own state of trance if you are able to trance and so many believed ways of doing such things. If you are not of this type of a belief system you might concentrate on what you wish to know before going to bed and possibly through dreaming you might be able to access information. There are many beliefs in this area to learn about the many lives some believe they have had or are yet to have depending on what school of thought you come from if at all.

They say that the truma of being reborn from the spirit world is one reason why we forget about past lives.

I think if we were meant to automatically assimulate our past experiences and mold our future on these then we would be born with these memories. Some of us become interested in the future as adults and we seek to find the answers through regression or meditation but could this be because our spiritual naure is more advanced? Maybe so maybe not its a hard one to answers without sounding off like a big head.

The fact that you can find our about past lives makes me think that we are only meant to reflect on them if they are important enough for us to be jogged that way into finding out about them.

In answer to the question, regression is a good way and or meditation to find your akashic record is also a good way to find out about past lives.

Deep meditation and concentration. it may not all come to you but you have to open yourself and get passed the block and once you do it may be easier. Take your time and don't stress over not always seeing it.

while i agree u can only affect or change what happens in this life, knowing some of your past lives can teach you or help you to understand something in this one, just life history, by learning that which has some to pass we can mold our furture, and hopefully not make the same mistakes

In certain traditions and or philosophies, they claim that the soul is on a nearly endless journey and that each past life has its own karma which reflects its future lives. The cycle continrues until that "predestined" ending comes to them, then they would pass to the next level of spiritual evolution, ie Spiritual Ascension.

They are most likely some of your ancestors reaching out to you, now that you are open minded to recieving them.
We are as much a part of them as they are of us here and now.

Even though most times it is best to think about your present self sometimes we also need to think about our past and future as well.
Because if we remember our past we can learn from then to know what we can change or do with our futures.
I remember my past completly...although I do have to admit it took me great years to acomplish this, but in 5 years I have greatly acheeved my goal. :)

Whether you believe in reincarnation or not (I am decidely in the latter category), it is still the progress and the actions made in this life that best prepare us for whatever comes hereafter, whether that be reincarnation or progressing on to a higher plane of existence and creative opportunities.

In my opinion, going through hypnosis and regression will succeed only in conjuring up false memories, imaginary past lives, and cause nothing but even greater delusions than existed prior to it.

the flip side of that tho is that one may find new information thru those agencies. one can claim that if you sail too far, you will go over the rim of the world as much as you wish, but i am an explorer, and i choose to find out the truth.

there is alot of evidence i feel that is proof of reincarnation.

Which was the point of the whole reincarnation process, that if the soul does not achieve that trueness in the other lives, then it would go onto the next until full atainment has been accomplished and therefore the proper "ascension" may take place.

I can't disagree that what we do here and now is the important thing. On the other hand though there's nothing worse than having a small part of a memory. How do you know that you're not missing something important from it? How do you know you're not making the same mistakes? It doesn't hurt to find out!

one must ask how do you know it's a real memmory or one of fantasy and fiction that your mind has only made you to believe to be real,how do you dicern the differences between a legit and a false reincarnation memmory.

Without coming across some sort of proof like the guy in mysticwinds' post that found one of his old paintings, answering "is it real or not?" is always going to end up a case of personal belief and you'd never REALLY know. Without looking back your likely to never find such proof, which I'd say is yet another reason it can't hurt to have a go at filling in the blanks

Reincarnation is a new thing to most, past visions of a life we once may have, many hope this is a reaccrring thing for us as humans believe there is more than life or death.

ever heard of changing the past will end up changing the future? There is a reason why humans shouldn't know about their past lives. Either way it is your choice to continue with your quest of connecting with your past lives.

actually, i am in need of some answers. for as long as i can remember i have always felt out of place in this "time". i feel im more drawn to mid evil times, kings queens, castles etc... im not sure why. it bothers me at times, because i feel odd. i prefer proper speech, and the like. almost royal, if you will, and i don't get it. can anyone give advice

I feel that some may need to know more of their past life in order to move on in this life. Myself I believe that past lives is just that past life, I mean we are still here cause we have not gotten right yet, to move on to another or higher plane whatever one may believe.

yet, if you must know more Hypnois is usually the best way to go , but, you may not like what you see or hear because it could be false information or interpetited to you.

So I say let the past remain there in the past and get on with the present.

in any case, your past stays with you throughout your life even when you reincarnate as someone else

something that might be of help for you is to visit medieval reenactments or something like the SCA. ive known several people that lived during the civil war that reenact those times. for them its like a tonic to their soul.

you could write in journals about what you have seen, try to go places and see if you feel,see or smell anything from past, do past life regression, dreams and so forth. there are a number of ways to see what you were in past life

Hounistly I don't really worry bout the full estent of my past lifes. All I do is try to bring back the memories of what I did or whatnot to try and not redue them or Let them happen again

Well, I think it is safe to say that hypnosis and meditation are useful.
It is all about what you have already expierenced in this life, and what interests you.

Some believe that the reason for many phobias deals with things that have happened in past lives. From this perspective, they usually use hypnosis to try and alleviate such things via regressions.

As far as reincarnation, I will say just counting Hindus, and they are in the millions, they believe in reincarnation. Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world. That is a lot of people living mostly in a certain geographical area who believe in this concept. So it is not a fringe idea generally speaking. Then you have all the Neo Pagans, and other groups that also believe in it. The Sanskrit word is Samsara. The viewpoint has been changed a little by various modern movements but the ideas are close.

Someone connected to a metaphysical church should be able to direct you to a reputable person. Some hypnotists advertise that they do regressions. Unless you are adept at meditation I personally don't believe you could get much out of it in regard to past lives. I don't think the discipline would be there to access such things. You would need to practice first and that takes time. I believe a reader or hypnotist might be the best route.

there's no set way to look into you past life...
some people have dreams.... some people have sudden memories when things trigger a memory...

but how do you know you even had a past life?
Not everyone does.... and some people dont
even believe we can ever REALLY know anyways because
your memories will not follow you into the next life if you did

some people get so obsessed with finding their past life that they actually make it up... and don't realize that they are lying to themselves... it's like making your own truth and that is VERY common.

I agree with danzig in that we need to focus more on the now and try to live this moment. I have spent way too long, myself, on why this and why that, looking to the past. It's a waste of time for the most part. Learn the coping skills for dealing with now.

I have always wanted to know about my past lives. I regressed with a cassette tape once and it was cool. It was a quick succession of scenes but made an impact on me. Happened too fast for me to make it up. Ya know?

Now last year I went to a hynotherapist to try to find the root of panic attacks and get rid of them. Eh, big mistake. She was asking me questions that I was supposed to answer while I was in the womb and I was thinking, "This is just the shit I have thought about before, not what was really said I'm sure.". It was traumatic for me actually. I never went back. It's like she was forcing me to tell her something and I had nothing for her.
