I am often asked how does one become a vampire? Or the ever poplaur question I often seen to recive both on and offline is can you "Turn" ,"Make","Sire" me?. I opened this thread in wonder of the age of "awakening"? From what I have seen there seems to be no age for "awakening" a kindred or is there?. Tho I do know that alot have had or inner "vampire" lie dorment till awakened. How does one know when one could be to young to awaken. Or do these feeling stay dorment untill awakened. Or do they just come at will? What is your opinion or insights on this?......

I believe that they stay dorment until awakened. Or maybe its that they've been there the whole time, that person just chooses to overlook them.

Yes i can see how that might happen. But why would some one want to hide what they truely or even better whom they are unless ashamed correct? more over, There is the age thing i keep getting whats with that? Never knew there was an age to " Awaken".

Exactly. There is no certain age. As for the other part, some are ashamed.

Would you be will to place some of these factors here in my thread so others would know them as well please?....and if you do ty ahead of time. :)

Why be ashamed of what or whom you are? I say hold your head high and be proud, after all there much worse things then our kinderd is there not?

It is diffrent for everyone. there is not a set way to become one or how to live as one.

Wow very helpfull and i know certian ones may be ashamed, I for am not but thats not here nor there. I think some those who have awakened should not be and some more then others should be. hmmm? I wonder how may are awakened year lol , interesting question i suppose. :)

It's based on life experiences.

Different people will Awaken at different times and places. Sometimes it takes a 'shock' or certain happening to trigger even a section of One's own Awakening to begin.

There are also fragments of Awakenings-- such as what has be going on for me for nearly 9 years, now. In my experience, going out and doing things you'd not do before, on your own (for me, the Vegas trip to meet others like myself), may trigger an emotional moent or feeling-- even action that will help you along the path that will help you understand yourself to a great extent.

Also after the awakening,do not just stop there and accept it and go into conclusions,learn more about what you are,you are never too old to learn something new.

well with me i was just obsessed with vampires, facinated by them and i just felt the cravings for blood and they got more n more n more and then i went thru the stages of awakening n realised what was happening to me n it just took hold and opened me to why these things were happening to me

I think it really determines on the person and their natural born awareness to the super natural which can help.

An angel once told me when a person is born, they are near madness. If you think of a baby, you have to bound it so it can't hurt itself. It does little except sleep and scream.
Reality is diffucult to handle that is why we must help the young to except it slowly. Humans are the only animal that has succeeded in obtaining sanity from the One (Taken a bite from the apple so to speak). But as in all things not everyone can make it. Thouse who lie in their own stupidity and/or ignorance may just have problelms dealing with the harsh realitys of life (which there are many). It will take some a lifetime some more but sooner or later it happens to all souls.

when a child is born its near madness, never heard that one before although a baby is still developing a brain and the nueron links to and from it yes it does not have full awarness as to the whole of its surounds, this is close to the formular that defineds madness and insanity, (that being the lack of ability to determine ones recount of understanding of a pressent situation) a for harming itself the definition to harm ones self takes into acount the ability to have knowledge that an action will corse damage. i dont think a baby has that understanding. yes we may wrap them up to enusure a fingernail does not acidently scratch while the child is obtaining the ability to co-ordinate its muscular control of limbs.

as for awaken'n first one needs to know that one has not been dorment remember the term understanding of awaken'n is to have left one field of thought and behavour and arive at an other. one must have a recall of the difrence between the two.

My vampiric feelings had lain dormant for years. I always liked the taste of my own blood, and was curious about the taste of others, but I supressed them for ages because I thought it was 'weird' or abnormal. Growing up in an elitist community when you're a teenager makes you want some kind of acceptance, however unnecessary. It wasn't until I started becoming more confident and comfortable with myself that I allowed the feelings to surface, and began indulging in my cravings. I can definitely say i'm happier now than I was when I was hiding them

I feeel we are all born with it... we deal with it differently because of upbringing...maybe we choose to ignore these feelings (and thus never feel truly happy) maybe we are afraid of how others will see us...
Lions are born king of the jungle even if they are not feared as cubs....they are taught this and instincts take over...

As for me i thought i was an energy manipulater and have known about that ability since i was 21 and knew i could draw emotions from people,but i didn't realize i was a psi vamp until a few days ago.i think some ppl maybe scared of it and some just may not realize and some just don't want to know.i'm not sure it is ever dormant.I think that you may not be educated enough about it or just think it normal to you and may not want to know why.

I think it just lays and waits on the inside until it is awakened
