(Okay first if this isnot at the right place I appologize)

The pendulum reacts to energy, and mostly to paranomal energy, I knwoit can be use for many things, like relaxing meditating, but here I wana know if you beleive it can be use to react or detect or find another vampire in a room, or house whenre you are. Ether a dead one or a live one, and by doing so reveal to you his/her presence even if the vampire tries ot hide it.
And if yes then how? Or is it possible if one can detect you as a vampire and you want to hide it, how can you defeat the pendulum?

I havent ever heard of this, but I tell you what.. I am looking forward to see the responses on it!

When you say pendulum do you mean a scrying crystal?

this can be made of quartz crystal or metal. At least those are the only one I know of.

I would imagine that there are ways to shield ones energys. Or at least contain them.

Maybe it tends to point toward negative energy in the same way a compass points toward the north?

Interesting. Well, I dont know alot about such things but maybe erm... Yeah Im stuck with not knowing the answer to this. Well, why dont you try using it outside in the streets or something?

As far as I understand that type of thing. It acts like a divining rods. If your good at it, it will point to what you want (the rods commonly do water but thats what people commonly want with the rods, since I have heard of people using them to try and find gold and such).

But thats not much, but I think it is the same idea as the divining rods. Just it would do energy instead.

personally I don't know a lot about this subject but I think if a pendulum can find other energies that it can find a vampire. As for defeating it that would take some serious power/energy. you can try cloaking yourself but it would again have to be very powerful.

I use the pendulum myself, I can trace down some persons energy, I have a crystal quartz one, but my momther has a metal one and I did try to use it but I prefer mine.
Still it is a very powerfull tool and can be use for good or bad in search for agood reason or a bad one, it is tho possible ot sehild fomr it I have heard of it, but never found the info yet and yes I did search on yahoo, google, altavista and other search engin.But I know it is possible to do it, just dont know how.

I believe you are correct, that tis would work in the same manner as a divining rod. The tool is only part of the equation, the one who is using the device have as much, if not more, influence over the effectiveness.

Therefore, the ability of the device to detect whatever is desired can vary widely from user to user. So being able to avoind detection, would depend on the ability of the person trying to find you.

I agree in that your ability to be undetected is based upon the ability of the person scrying for you

CryingMist I would say then as me and KCRC agree. Why not try looking up some divining rod stuff and see where that leads. If it leads i a way you feel is good, you could post links and such to what you find.

I myself would like to know more, just finding a way to find what you want/need to know. You sometimes need to find more then just one way to the info.

Actually the pendulum does more a yes and no answer and a point direct to a place.
I goes from forward and backward it means NO
Going in an arc or circle it means YES
And if you pleace it over a map it will show you a yes or no to the question: is what or who I search in this room?
And if you just hold it and enter a plce and ask it will reply the same .
Its the way to block it I am most interested is to find out how to block it to block the habilite of the perosn using it and blocking the pendulum from tracking our energy.
So far google, yahoo and alta vista did not give me any info.

I have yet to figure out how to block a pendulum. But I have learned that if you overload it with energy that it will break:(. I found that out with my first one.

Law I already have rods, as for the links I still am searching for serious and reliable ones, I do have books and manual, I also use techinics learn at conference with Uri Geller, as soon as I find one I shall let you know. Still overloading the pendulum can be a good idear if you want to break yours but what about the one of th eperson seeking you? Its kind a hard to overload it

The jury is still out on how exactly a pendulum works. I have three of them with one being "charged." I always go for the latter one if I need a yes or no answer. I draw my circle on paper with the large "x" through it. I then tell my guides which direction will indicate a yes and no response. Usually up and down is yes or clockwise and left and right or counterclockwise is no. I center the pendulum first and then command it to go left and right - stop, up and down - stop, clockwise then stop and finally counterclockwise and stop. If for any reason this test does not work, exactly, then I know it is not the right time to ask my questions.

Anyone can do this test. And it is totally amazing to watch. It's a great lesson to learn that your mind is extremely powerful. But like I mentioned before. Nobody is sure who is doing the moment. Is it our Guides acting through the pendulum or is it our subconscious acting through minute moments through our own fingers?

I think there are many articles one can use to find other energies. I use a scrying mirror personally.
Some people are more gifted in this abilitity to sense other spirits or ghosts , mediums for example.And I know some don't need any article at all.I suppose it's all in what one is comfortable with and what works for that person.Any spirits energy is dectable, as is ours, one just has to find the right door.

I used to use a pendulum quite a lot and began to realize that if I really really wanted a certain answer, that was the answer that I got. I'm more inclined now to believe that my fingers played more of a part in the outcome than the spirit world.

I have one and I have used it. I agree with what was said about if you want something bad enough thats the response youll get, but I know someone who is into scientology. said tie pendelum off, if u can make it move by touchin the tied end then it is energy. if not it was your hand.

I have always heard that the pendalum was used as a scrying tool, to find lost objects/people.

As I see it, the pendulum is just another tool of divination which helps connect our mundane world to the spirital realm.

I have used them in the past, and the pendulum is one of my favorite tools.

I would say that if you wanted to seek out a spirit or energy, the pendulum could do it, if you command it properly.

As for the debate between the spirits moving it, or slight impulses from your fingers; my pendulum of choice is a metal indian arrow head on a 28" silver chain. I have been known to suspend the pendulum from a 10" stand with the other 18" lying limp on the table next to it, with my fingers holding the slacked end - and it works just fine. I think that says the spirits help guide the seekers.

The pendulum can also be used like an ouiji board. There are mattes you can purchase just for pendulum use. I guess it is personal preference.

I have an amethyst pendulum. I really not sure how to focus my energy into it, I tried drawing a plus sheet on it with up and down being yes and left and right being no. Its possible Im using it wrong when I test its power. I like to try using its power to guide me or finding someone. How would you program the Pendulum to do what you want it to do?

i dont know if it works or not my wife has one she uses it to find things and answer questions

I have yet to have the opportunity to use one.. but on the instance of blocking one... that would be an interesting feat...

I do use a pendulum to help me seek quick answers, or to find things that I have lost. As for finding other vampires if you focus your will then I can't see why it wouldn't work. Pendulums have been used by psychics to find lost children so why not. As for protecting yourself against it, surely a simple shield would block things.

i think it's psychological. when i was a schoolboy, i performed a little experiment. i took a piece of horseshoe shaped metal and suspended it from a string. i then gave this to one of my school friends and told him to hold it as still as possible, telling him it was a magnet. i then took an ordinary piece of metal and held it near the pendulum, but not touching it. i slowly moved the metal back and forth until the pendulum that my friend thought was a magnet started swinging back and forth in time with it. when i asked him what he thought of my little trick, he said "well of course they were attracted to each other - its a magnet." when i then showed him that neither of them were a magnet, and i was just showing him the power of suggestion, he was furious. just goes to show though.

i use chrystals. they work very well for me.i can tell what your baby will be, 90% right. cure headaches. and yes after you charge them they act strangly to different people. i don't know if they pick up on certain vibs or what but they do wave and circle around certain people.

karnstein thats a very good point, the mind is powerful enough for you to move the pendulum and it not necessarily be you speaking to the spirit world so its important to understand and know the difference... As well as protect yourself... for me Pendulums are not much different to working with Ouija boards.

I've heard there used to pinpoint peoples locations, I've not looked up very much on this but I will do now.

A good 90% of the time it is Hell the mind is more powerful than many people realise so when they think they are talking to spirits they are sometimes just basically talking to themselves.

Definately...I do believe some people talk to themselves & not "spirits" ...Infact I think thats the majority lol, I do however think it's possible a very select few in every life time there are real people that can communicate with spirits

Agreed, I have had those strange moments, like I lost a ring once and used a pendulum to find it, and it was in the area the pendulum pinpointed.

I'll have to go get myself one & do a little experimenting of my own, I cant say either way as I've never used one, but at the moment, like we said, mind over matter

It really doesn't matter what one uses. A "pendulum" cannot react. It's always the one using it. So anything light enough to be easily left swinging from your hand could be used.

It will work better if it is personalize, or "charged."

Supposing you don't mean charged in the sense of "electrostatic" or "magnetized" - Why?

Thanks KCRC, it is totaly up to the user. I have yet to have a person who is a vamp fool me. There are just some people that when they want to be aware they are.

You can not force a person to close their awareness, unless they choose to.

u can't, there's no way to hide ur energy the only way i know u can trick it is to throw ur energy like ppl throw their voice, u can send u energy into a different part of the house or the world if ur powerful enough (never been done b4) but u can send it somewhere else and the pendulum will pick up on that insted on u, but it MIGHT get u faintly

I found a way that a friend of mine sugested to block another person from finding you if they are using a pendulum, you create mirrors around you, totally hiding you, so the person cant find you with the pendulum, as it is not feeling or seing anything but itself. Still not 100% sure tho, but it sound like a very logical way of resolving the issue, if some have tried it before please let it know.

Well heres thing the- I'm sure it could.. but how could you be sure that what it was detecting was a vampire, and not some other supernatural being?
