I was wondering how many here have had, or do have psychic abilities with their pets. I have noticed over my life things like the ability to wake up deaf cats we have owned from accross the room without actually touching them, or banging on anything.
Another deaf cat I owned would come, even from clear across the house if I thought about him. I have done this many times in front of witnesses.
THings like this fascinate me, and many actually have this ability, though possibly live with it without even thinking of it.
Anyway, I would like your thoughts on this
I can completely see it. Humans have sixth senses, why not animal who, by nature, are much more intuned with their own natural senses than most humans.
well i believe that all animals have a psychic ability. so i believe it to be very possible that you can have a psychic link to the animals. a friend of mine has that sort of link to all his animals, cats, dogs, wolves.
Sometimes I try to send thoughts to animals from a distance and it's never very long before they start looking for me. Yep, I totally believe that it happens.
Of course you can, especially with your pets, since you already have a connection with. All animals can have this ability with humans and vice versa.
I would think pets would have psychic abilities, most of the time they are very close to their humans. Years ago I had a dog that one night just wouldn't let us sleep...the next morning we had an earthquake, so I would think they are very inturn on many levels.
Well animals can sense things that we can`t like say for instance my cat she acts like she see things , that I don`t she`ll be sitting with me . Then all off the sudden she look up at the celling like there is soemthing there I can`t see..
I talk to my pets all the time. Some times it's through the mind and other time my cats really talk. Not that I can always understand that. lol
Yes this is also true. they are very sensitive to energy and changes within our atmosphere/surroundings. Just like your Pets might sense when there is danger. ....Or they don't like certain people.
I had a High content Wolf Hybrid, for years. ( The best! he was not a pet but a family member) his name was Mani. Mani had definite likes and dislikes, when people would walk up to us, when we were out for walks. Sometimes he would hedge when someone tried to touch him. If they tried he would get this Pissed Off look, without snarling. Other times the hairs on his back would come up, which told me, (lets get the hell outa here) LOL!
I've always had a close connection with my pets. Whenever I become sick or am hurt, my cats always seem to know and come to comfort me. I don't know whether this counts as psychic abilities, though.
maybe the animals just can feel what your feeling at the moment some how
I have never done this , but I can see it being able to happen specially if the pet is loved by the owner
i dont know if you would call it psychic ability but i could tell what me cat needed when she needed it....i dont have her anymore....she ran away while i was deployed over seas
I do believe that pets are more in tune with all of nature..even to the point of being psychic but have yet to experience this.
I believe it is considerably easier to influence a lesser creature, like a cat, or dog, with ones mind.
i think it is possible...animals are smart....i think they are a lot smarter than humans and if you have a close connection to your animals it can happen.........i know i did with my dog before she passed away and i still feel i have a connection with her now.....*smile*
Yeah, cant say that animals are smarter than humans, but proly they have less resistance, since thier brain is not so strong, not so strongly concetrated, developed, so they are easily to be penetrated, ordered, or suggested, with an idea?
Someone told me that left-handed cats are a bit psychic. I'm not sure how true that is tho.
I don't really think a lot of pets are blessed with psychic abilities in the conventional sense but I do believe they sense things that we don't.
animals are great at reading people and there intensions, I have always had a close connection with animals, and I trust them before I would anyone.
I have never done it, but i dont think it is impossible.
Call this stupid, or whatever, but my firend had a cat that they called Frisky. One night I was laying on the couch and she jumped on to my stomache and it was like hearing her voice in my head telling me her name was Luna. She is Luna, that name is perfect for her.
My cat and I have had little psychic talks when he is bad. He never does them again. Its awesome.
My Cat and I have a very powerful connection. If I'm upset at all, he'll come from across the house to cuddle with me. He always seems to know what I'm feeling.
Because psychic abilities cannot be quantified or measured on any machine man has so far created, "hard" scientists prefer to say it therefore cannot exist.
Thus, when it comes to psychic abilities, we are in the realm of belief rather than hard proof. I, personally, strongly believe in psychic abilities among our animal friends. I have had many experiences with cats communicating . one time i was looking at a photo of an ex boyfriend who is passed away and all of a sudden my cat started hunching his back up stareing at the wall behind the couch but yet i saw nothing there.
I think that although it may appear to be "psychic" it is more a matter of being able to adjust to their frequency, along with other communication, such as Body positions etc...
I have always been told that your pet knows you and can feel things like when you dont feel good or sick lonely or just need a friend it could be psychic ...
Could be,but I really think it has a pretty solid explaination leaning towards other things.I must say here I suppose..Ive worked with animals a long, long time.Have a degree in Vet med..small and large, including wild animals and BOP. and have done aLOT of research.Too damn much for my own good really.Trained everything from animal actors to little show fish ,Indicators and cadaverdogs, and everything in between.I am not telling you to be a braggart,or to imply that I know everything by listing a couple of my credentials..that would be a joke in itself..Im just telling you so you know I am giving you an educated guess here, and from my research and experience,I have have great deal of evidence that points directly to what Im saying. And
I feel ,it might be something well worth consideration.Lets not overlook that I would like answers as to how I can do what I do.Thus the reason for it all.
I don't know if we could have domesticated animals without having an unspoken communication with them first. Actually sending thoughts to their mind is difficult for me to believe, but then I talk to my animals out loud as though we're having an actual conversation. My whole family thinks I'm an idiot because they speak baby-talk to them, but both dogs and cats listen to and favor me over the rest of the household.
Understanding filial placement, I strongly believe, is the best connection, psychically or otherwise.
See thats where I might have to disagree to an extent WB.There have been plenty of times where I do not have to say anything when I meet an animal and even so,our lines of rapore open instantly. And some, you dont really speak to at all, other than for the satisfaction for ones self.Another thing I have noticed with quite a few different creatures,is that if an owner or whatever talks too much, the animal stops listening.
Oceanne - sort of like listening to the adults on the Peanuts, hunh? Wunh, wunh, wunh, wunh. lol
I have also had experiences with animals that simply "take" to me, but I would have to explain that away as confidence and comfortability around animals. I have more trust in other beasts than I do in humans. Humans are quite a bit more coniving. Plus, animals don't talk as much as humans.
I know my cats are on the same wave lenght as me, we talk quite often. I can get them t come just by looking at them a cretian way, and they know when I want them to come or not.
Absolutely.
wuh wuh wuh.
They tune out.
But my guess is that we have certain frequencies in part which we attune to in the presence of certain animals.Personally,I will talk a little to an animal, but for the most part? I stay fairly quiet. In mouth and mind.
And if one knows a little about the animal you just kindof subtly move or position yourself in ways they understand. It can be profound or really subtle..like looking at a cat and closing your eyes for a minute..Just that act will endear the cat to you, because in their language it is a very important gesture of affection.Someone could even do it without knowing and wonder why cats always seem attracted to them.
Soundless communication can be termed body language where even the eyes can cue the intended subject to perform whatever menial task the native is requesting, conciously or subconciously. It's a trait that is observable in all animals, including our closest known evolutionary cousins - chimpanzees.
This may seem irrelevant, but bare with me. Cats communicate with each other instinctually, moving tails, ears, back, and eyes. Dogs similarly raise the fur on their back, lower their ears, cock their head, and, tuck their tail between their legs, smile, frown, etc in an effort to communicate soundlessly. If we concentrated on their eyes only, we would still be able to communicate with them.
Tara Banks, a beautiful Super Model, performed an exercise where she showed the difference between smiling with her mouth and smiling with her eyes. Without moving her lips or other facial features, she effectively showed a difference in a blank stare and her eyes shining with happiness. Happened on national television and was quite impressive.
Body language isn't limited to our sitting position, arms, and what not. Our eyes can tell a dramatic story as well.
Yes I do believe it.
And its a combo of all those things that get our points across, and allow them to do the same.jmho.
i have a cat that i have had since she was a little kitten, she and i have bonded immensely and she always seems to know what i m thinkin or when i dont feel good, and she and i rnt the only ones that have been like this,,,,i m so honored she is my best and dearest friend
with my cats people tell me its weird how she seems not just to hear me but understand me and how she will do things for me. I seem to always have that link with my cat.
Dogs on the otherr hand.. I can not get them to sit for me as a rule.. they just kinda look at me like... nope can't make me.
the only other pet I had a link with was my rat. I was watching her try to open her cage.. it had two doors.... I thought silly the other one is easier to open.. she looked at me for a bit and went to the other side and got the door open quickly
I believe this to be very well true. I've actually gotten a cat to cover in the litterbox with out saying a word.
I tend to listen to My animals, whether, cat, dog, guinea pig, anything. They are living creatures and they DO talk. They have their own way of communicating. It's how order is kept in the pride/pack and so on.
We have a particular cat that tells Me every time I'm going to be sick. Another that will jump on My chest when I'm about to have a seizure and won't get up until she's absolutely possitive I'm ok. And yet another one that can trance you if you're not careful.
The trancing the one cat does has gone from one generation to another. The cat's father does the same thing to this day.
Well i beleive that everyone can communicate with their pets, it just on how open they are to recieve what they are saying.
There are tons of books out there on Cat Magic. I know for myself I have a strong connection with animals cats and horses especially.
i have seen this happen and in some way have experienced it looking back now. i just am not a 100% sure on the subject. im sure if i put more thought into it i will be more open to it
