i know from the other post on this subject are doubles most often then not of a person that is living. and that they are most often there for evil intents. but what i want to know is are they made by a dark spell or are they just here and we have to stumble across them to see them.

can you please explain in more detail please

what i want to know is are doppelgangers made with the help of black magic or do they just appear. does that help. or could u tell me in what way dont u understand and then i might be able to help.

I believe dopplegangers happen in a random fashion, that they are not created by Dark Magic.

OK, not to sound unintelligent, but is it something similar to the concept that everyone has a twin in the world, and that it is usually a yin-yang situation?

I have heard of this but havent experienced it myself.... pleanty of people saying they saw me in places I wasn't... darn clones.

i think the that info i have on this topic may be wrong. i thought that when a doppelganger was seen it was a product of black magic. but i may be wrong. but this is something that has my mind peaked.

Their is no such this Doppelgangers ,Just like there is no such things as Fairys,Dragons,Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.Its all in your imagination.

That is very interesting as I would think that you would need a doctor's help too, but I know people who had childhood invisble friends and still talk about them to this day. I wonder if they still "see" them? Mind you I am older than most here....... so my friends are older too.... late 40's...... so that would be a really long time for someone to have a invisble friend.

here is the kicker to what u just said. there is some times that when a child has a invisible friend it could be his or her spirit guide or it could mean that this child has a six sense that. i know when i was a child that my mother said i had one too but i told her the name of this person and we look him up and found him to be a civil war solider and i am quite sane. i just wish that i could remember his name. oh well. but yes i believe that these things could be quite real.

Black magic is the conjuring up of a preternatural force intended for an evil purpose whereas a doppleganger is a ghostly vision of ones self that usually is seen as a harbinger of death. I have never heard of the two being related.

My own personal theory is that doppelgangers are just the image of you when one dimension intersects with another, thus creating two of you on one plane at the same time. I don't think dark magic is involved at all. But that is just my theory.

To me a doppelganger is the complete opposite of you since the whole universe keeps a balance. I've never seen an evil twin of myself but maybe on another world or universe there may be.

I think they are something that happens naturally but can be caused by magic whether white or black..... I think it would be a grey area when it comes to the magic portion....

Sorry - don't believe they are made from a spell. Their just happen to be so many characteristics out there before its going to be duplicated! Their are probably 10 people who look like me out there somewher but it surely doesn't mean they are the exact opposite of me or that they are anything like me either. we just happen to look the same.

I believe DoppelGanger are real, and they are aliens, those little grey ones with out no personality, and they easily shapeshift in to one of the existing persons, since they have a way to extract and copy the genetical material, wich they after use to confuse.

Dopplegangers to me are purely myth, for the idea of twins of everyone out there believe saw him meeet him. blew me away.

Okay, dopplegangers. I do have personal experience with these beings. My brother in particular has a seperate shadow being that would qualify as a doppleganger, and neither one (my brother or his shadow) are evil....dark, yes; evil, no. In his case it was neither puposeful dark magik or an accident, he created it himself (or learned to use it once it was created, one or the other) as a way to simply be in 2 places at once.
Specifically, he was in another town about 60 miles away when one night, I looked up in a mirror and saw him standing in the hallway behind me. I looked back and saw him standing there, only he was more of a solid shadow than a person. He looked at me, then walked into his room. A few minutes later, his radio turned on by itself. He was simply keeping an eye on his little brother.
So dopplegangers aren't always evil, and indeed can be used by the person the emulate, as they are usually inexpicably tied to the said person.
Now as far as I understand, they can be created using magik (usually of a dark nature, but not always so) and they can simply be naturally occuring for some unknown reason. Maybe if you explained why you were interested in this I could explain a little more in detail.

Even though your past life is you, does not mean you would not be able to follow yourself, or make yourself known etherealically into the physical. The soul following the individual as it were.

No I don't believe they are made by black magic. Our spirits, in their most natural form are able to be two places at once.

If you go to a translator and put in the word Doppelgänger using the German to English translation setting the word means Double. :) We have all seen or had friends who have said they swore they saw us or a close twin. I have seen this at times, the only difference is the supposed clone/twin was actually alive not dead or a ghost. lol

My own personal thoughts:

A doppleganger is one of four things to me.
1. A ghostly double created to bring misfortune if met.

2. A living copy of yourself with strictly evil intent.

3. A homunculus made after your image.

and 4. An image of your personal fear of yourself or paranoia of yourself taking real form.

I think their purpose is to generally to signify your darker self or test your true self.

Doppelgangers are agents of chaos; their purpose is to spread discord.

Things dont just happen

I really don't have an opinion of how they are made or were the hail from. I believe that they are used for bad things such as messing up your life and take everything that is good away from you and possible death.

The DoppelGanger sure sounds creepy, but a person such as I am, will not have fear before it, and will do the most opossite thing, if ever one met, I will make sure, to grab my DoppelGanger fast and tight, giving him a french kiss delight, and than I believe it will be the DoppelGanger running back in fear.

I think dopplegangers dont even need to look like another person. I have been mistaken for someone about 100 times and i dont even look like the guy. I have people come up to me and say, why were you doing this here. And would have been somewhere else completly. Coincidence?

i dont think they are made by black magic, i think that it is just something that happens, a rift in time per say that casts your image in another place in time. but to someone else it may be something altogether different.

I'm not entirely sure if this would count but i once saw a dark shadow pass through an outer door of a house in which some bad things have happened from.
