The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I have read a series of books called Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith. In these books it is about a girl who falls in love with two vampires. Well in the third she dies, but is brought back because she died to young. Now my question is do you believe that if someone who died too young could come back as she did? She was sent back more or less not brought there was no magic or anything, but is it possible?

No Wikipedia I want your own opinion.

yes i do believe that she can come back but as herself the same before she died i don't think so i think there would be something missing

If you mean like in the sense of traditional reincarnation, then sure. But coming back as the exact same person? Seems unlikely.

yes I think so.... my grnadmother died and came back... after a car crash... she was supposidly dead at the scene but then her heart started back up after a few minutes.

Maybe thats where they came up with the say 'when it's your time to go, it's your time to go'.... some say that you won't die unless it's your time.

I personally do not believe I have been here before ut I have been convinced enough by other people that it is a possibility

I don't think you can come back just as you were . It would break the circle or karmic reicarnation .

I think there are rare cases of people come back from being dead that are true but I also believe everyone knows someone who knows someone who has died and been brought back to life. It can happen but personally I do not know anyone that it has happened to.

Well she came back the exact way she was before, but there was a certain difference to her like almost inhuman, but yes she was the same as before aside from the fact she wasn't a vampire anymore.

I personally do believe in reincarnation, but not what this book put out maybe with magic you can bring back someone in trade for your own life.

I guess there are different theories on reincarnation...When I think of it, I don't think of someone coming back exactly the way they were before...

I personally don't think something like that is possible and really...the way you described it just doesn't make sense to me, so I might be misunderstanding it.

I do think if you "die" and come back...you are "different".The movie The Return goes into a simular process...there is a car accident where 2 cars hit each other...the little girl in one car "dies" but comes back as the girl in the other car dies.Years later the little girl that "died" is traveling back home to visit her father and starts "seeing" a girl in her path and and having memories that aren't hers..anyhow...the story is...during the accident the girlthat died...her spirit took over the little girls body when she died...but came back and pushed the spirit into her subconscious.Basically when the little girl died...she did come back differently and as someone else.

I can't foresee someone coming back as the same person.

No, I don't believe someone can die and come back as exactly the same person.

I dont think you can come back as before. It would kinda destroy all belivings on what may come after the life. Maybe in a other form it is possible.

For example she didn't have the ability to love anymore

From what you've said I wouldn't call what she did reincarnation....

This somewhat makes me think of the thread that was on guardian angels and how you have near death experiances that sould have killed you but didn't. They did bring up the people being clincally dead and coming back in that thread to.... maybe she just didn't want to die so bad that she somehow turned around.

You canot come back as the same, but you canc ome back in reincarnation, Imyself had 8 past lives that I am aware off, and in 3 of them I was with one of my curent friend we found out we had lived together knew each other..so yes it can be possible but in reincarnation only

well this solely depends if you believe in reincarnation or not.

in which chance you do lets say.

a person once dead their energy returns to the earth to replenish the energy that person takes out of it. then eventually that person is reborn again.

in the hindu I believe its hindu religion it is based upon karma and darma on how your life will come about and what you will be in the next life.

However I have never heard of someone dying too young. the cycle of life is set, you will die when that time comes for you not before. Now you might have a moment of being dead until your body is revived however I do not believe you can die until it is your time.Then using karma as a basis if you lived your life well helping people not being cruel or petty.Keeping close to family and being over all what this world will call good then you will live a nice next life and so forth on the opposite if you was mean and bad in the present your next life will be not so nice.

I believe she could come back or rather be reincarnated. I dont think she would comeback as the same person. I believe we all come back or reborn but as a different person

I believe there a many possible paths for the soul...just as there are many choices and paths in life.

If it were possible for you to come back as the same person, you would be missing something, so you wouldn't be exactly the same.

If she died I believe it would be unlikely she would be able to come back. Once u are dead and your body shuts down it would be impossible to come back to life

I believe reincarnation is possible, i myself have some past lives memories but to have the exact same body, Mmmm seems extremely unlikely unless you end up with the same genetics as well such as the same family or gene pool at the very least.

I also believe in reincarnation sometimes I will have a memory from my past life that is how I know reincarnation is real. But I am not so sure if you can come back as your exact self that is just what the book did it ended rather on edge and there are no more.

i would have to read these series and get back to you maybe that will give me more insight and i could give you a better answer to this .

My opinion? While I'm a firm believer in anything being possible, I'm leaning toward no on this one. I mean, the way it happened in the book (yes, read them all and loved them) was she just kinda poofed out of nowhere and suddenly existed. How was she made? Her flesh and her bones and all that? If she had a whole new body, what of her old one? Or was it some kind of fold in time that "made" her?

I think it was very good for the book, but not a very likely scenario.

No. If someone dies that life is over. A new one must start from thats end.
