I get the Xray machine out here and remove the bandage before getting down to business.Low and behold? He jogs off sound!! Not only does that tell me there is no fracture,but that he is really responding well to my tratments for the last few weeks.It was such a great thing to see that WhoooHOO!!

to all my friends here and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.

I also thank you for your friendship and kindness.I hope you know it means a great deal to me.

On another note, Warsaw's leg is tighening down nicely and he is moving better every day..the only thing left that is still warm is his foot,so I decided to have an Xray machine sent out ,just to make sure he did not fracture his coffin bone.If it turns out he did,I am doing what one would do for it anyway,but at least I will know.Poor old guy stubbed his toe pretty darn good ..or the equvilant of. fingers crossed that theres no fracture!

the idea behind Christmas,but dont like what it has become at all.Its disheartening really.

Just two days ago while shopping for groceries in ...yes,Walmart,I witnessed something that kindof made me sick to my stomach.

There were two guys who had started to pick up the same bigwheel at the same time.It was the only one there and the guys started pulling the thing back and forth.This went on for several minutes until one of the guys punched the other one in the face.There was a scuffle and of course the guy who got hit backed out.

Thats when a Walmart employee told them that the bigwheels had been moved to another part of the store.

Merry Christmas,right?

Sigh...and this is how we treat one another during a time where we are supposed to show good will.

Sad,isnt it?

She never had any work done,because we never believed in it,but I dont think I realized just how good she looked for her age.

I miss that youthful look she always seemed to have about her.

Sometimes,if we are lucky,we get to witness amazing things in life.This morning,I got to witness something that delighted my heart through and through.These are the things that make hard work, a lifetime of study and dedication, all worth the while.

The old horse,Warsaw is healing amazing fast.Im not really sure how,since he is so old,it normally takes a while before there is much improvement gained with the type of multiple injuries he sustained.I am doing what I normally would in a case like his.

This morning I removed the night bandage .Low and behold,at a walk he is completely sound.At a jog,he is not quite,but he isnt nearly as bad as expected.I will post a vid later today.YAYYYY!

So Warsaw goes and hurts himself the very night I was to come back home from Texas.After my examination and putting the peices together,I believe he had been running across the paddock that night and stepped into an old fireant hill.We call them leg breakers,because a horse can sink about 2 feet when stepping into one.Imagine the damage if one is running and does it.Ouch.:( Soooo,anyway,thats where my attention has been focused this week..Poor old boy,he is 24 years old in human years,so that makes him pretty ancient in horse years.

In light of the injury,I figure it will take me about 6 to 8 weeks to get him completely sound again..
