With all the wonderous things going on in the world, all the joy/laughter/tears and general all round angst I can think of nothing to write.
Yet I feel like writing, mybe just seeing my words appear onscreen as if by magic lets me know I'm still in the land of the living....allbeit with a little of me in the other place.
That's it I think, too many people I know and love and miss terribly are in the other place.

Time off for good behaviour, I'm going at lunchtime today, still not opening any e-mails as I know that boss S, nice boss, has mucked up one of the codes again.....lmao... that's the kind of thing that I do, not her.
I'm busy and staying well out of her way, I think she knows I've had enough.
Sometimes even the simplest of tasks is made so much harder by people passing the buck. How hard can it be to order plastic drinking cups ?
Staff have been moaning for days as we have run out, all it takes is one phone call, but they would rather moan and do without....fine by me.
The challenge of course is to keep a straight face when one of em crumbles and makes that simple call, gotta love the pained expression of overwork they wear......like I don't know em lmao.
Today is a good day.

I found out this morning that really big boss has no sense of humour.
After the all round hoo ha with that darn stock take thing I get an e-mail calling me Kevin from him asking me to check for an error on page nine.
Bearing in mind that page chuffing nine is chock a block full of figures I asked him to be a tad more specific as Kevin was a dumb ass.
Then he tells me which line the error is on, I check and sure enough I had added an extra 0.
Returned his e-mail to tell him what I had done, then he asks me to fix it and send the whole thing to him again.
I told him to keep his fingers crossed as I was'nt sure I could remember how to e-mail an attachment........still gave me a laugh to imagine the look on his face.

Ha....all it was really was data entry, easy peasy except muh eyes have gone a tad blurry.
So, though I hate to tell you this journal I just stayed on past my time to finish the stock items list.
Thing is there is the non-stock list that S has yet to sort out, and it has to be in like now, and I'm on my own tomorrow and it's gonna be busy.
Man, I'm gonna earn some big time brownie points here lol.

Okay, so how come the guy at the post office did'nt tell me that ? No, I'm not shirking my responsibility here but lets face it I asked all the right questions at the time.

So, be warned if you live in the UK and want to send something abroad with this service, it's simply not worth it.
I'm so sad this has happened, both myself and my friend have been let down badly.

Good grief, BT have just put me through an hour of hell !
Came home and tried to get online, got some stupid BT Fon page coming up, would'nt let me do a damn thing.
Wow, talk about being outraged, I can't believe how angry that got me.
When I finally managed to get hold of the help team ( in India ...but the guy was glad he was a long way away from me ) I really let rip.
Anyway, first he wanted me to mess about with wires but I flatly refused and demanded he talk me though it step by step.
Bless him, he has earnt his no doubt meagre wage this day.
When the ebil page was got rid of, I did at least have the decency to say I was sorry and to thank him for his help etc.
I can only imagine how many BT customers are going to get very irate this week-end, a very stupid move that will no doubt see people leaving BT in droves.

I think I may just have had the most absurd and useless premonition ever.
The night before last I had a very disturbed nights sleep. At one point I woke myself up as I dreamt I had a very sharp pain in my left big toe.
Last night doing the washing up I dropped a plate on that very same toe. The pain was such I could'nt even swear...just kinda made animal noises.
Yea, life aint easy for us gifted folk.

Phil's little trip has'nt quite done the trick re his depression, he told me he still has spontanious bouts of crying with Suki the dog nuzzling him to make him feel better. *Resolves to give pesky dog a treat next time I see her*
He's not eating properly either so I had a gentle nag at him last night ( like I'm a good example *blushes* )

My weekend was over in such a rush, did some housework for Phil, pesky dog is kinda growing on me, but it's just soooo hairy lol.
Ray cooked me lunch on Sunday, made a nice change.
Phil had a nice time and looks better for it.
This morning, so cold even with my heating on full blast I had the oven on with the door open, and I started my day with a miracle, a polite and cheerful lady bus driver, I am in fact still in shock about that....

I have never in my life owned a bedside lamp.
Never needed one, as I always seemed to have a lightswitch withing easy reach.
However, Phil left me a lamp in the room I'm staying in, it belonged to his sister, one of those touch lamp things. It's the only room I've been in without a lightpull by the side of the bed. I love it, it goes from dim to very bright, ehhh technology.

Pat tells me she has been guilt ridden all night last night as she said something to me as a joke then worried I might take it seriously.
