The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

People either seem to really like or really hate this movie. Personally, I think it was good, but I wasn't expecting much. I bought it for two reasons. 1) It stars Adrian Paul, from the Highlander TV series and Highlander: Endgame movie. 2) It only cost $5 in the bargain bin.



Perhaps I'm biased, but I thought Adrian Paul was great, even if he seemed restrained. Seeing him before, I know his range, so I take this to imply a restraint of the character, Aaron Gray. Bai Ling (The Crow and Wild Wild West) was beautiful eye-candy, and the sets/costumes was great. The concept behind the story is good as well.



However, the rest of the acting, writing, and cinematography are crap. The clichés fly as fast as the bullets. If you take this for a cheap concept movie with (rare) touches of brilliance, buy it. (I'd say rent it, but for $5, buy it and pull it out from time to time to laugh at it later.)

Left a bad taste in my mouth. Just didn't get into it. Went back to watching cartoons.

An interesting premis. I liked it for what it was. Westenra is beautiful in this film.
