Have you ever seen or dreamed something that ends up happening. Whether it's big or small.
Last night I dreamt that I saw yellow car in the ditch and this morning there it was in the ditch.
I believe this is called deja vu. Whether it exists for sure or not, is open for debate.
I've had it happen tp me twice I was dreaming about meeting someone for an interview, and it happened the next week, same person, although I didn't have the name until I'd actually met this person.
I use to experience dejavue a lot as a child and even up until now. I read a theory that dejavue is the conscious body recognizing experiences that the astral body had in the past.
Another theory(one they have much evidence for) for Dejavu is that the the brain glitches and fires/processes the same signal twice...Hard to explain in one sentence, but it has to do with the blueprints of memory etc..
Dreaming about something that later comes true isnt Dejavu anyway..Its prcognition Samantha.
But dreaming something thats comes true at a later date? Yes,I have.
Many times.
Samantha you could be awakening to psychic abilities you never knew you had. With earth moving into higher frequencies this is starting to happen to a lot of people.
yes I think I might. It has been happening more and more often and I'm also starting to "see" things that aren't there.
Any one else having De Ja Vu

Oh yes , it happens.
One memorable experience was when I was at a friends , we had a small get together, you know....."ladies who lunch". I came through the kitchen from the other room and I asked what was burning. I was met with blank stares from everyone there. I said I see smoke, the room was filled with it , when I looked away and looked back it was gone. I sensed something heavy in one part of that room. Anyway , as usual I dismissed it as I am some what of a skeptic and we joked about it. A couple weeks later my friend had a kitchen fire, where I sensed the heaviness was where the fire originated on her counter.
Can I explain it... no.....if/when this happens it not always happens from the future but the past as well, it comes as random pictures, numbers, physical feeling or words.
I dreamed that my brother died and then two weeks later he did die, in exactly the way I had dreamed.
Before going on a trip I dreamed that something terrible would happen if we go. I tried to talk everyone out of it, but they were insistent. We got into a very bad car accident and someone close to me died.

I liked the Deja-Vu video. it seemed to make sense in many areas. I believe these sort of episodes can have psychic roots of many types in origin.
Lordessrubi~
I have seen the death of my friend, those who have parted the land of the living, and when I look into fire I see peoples and almost like silent movies.
@sammanthawolf
You have a very keen sense of MSP. Yours is stronger than some.
I believe you are 13? Yours seem to be lasting longer than some. Usually the young are known to have such capabilities. This MSP will be blocked as the mindset of the young grows into that of a mature adult's.
@Oceanne
What makes me say what? I'm not sure what you're referring to...
LR~
It acturally seems to be the opposite as I get older it gets stronger and clearer. It odd but not terrible so.
What makes you believe that MSP diminishes? I have found the exact opposite.
I have had this kind of thing happen to me many, many times over the course of my life. It's usually occurs in the middle of a dream and never seems to fit into what I'm dreaming. They're fleeting flashes of random events and when I encounter them in actual life it always makes me stop dead in my tracks.
Yes, tall construction cranes on a distant land fell as the earth shook, a huge wave that rushed across the ocean, as the caste of jersey shore cried and ran but were still engulfed.
@Oceanne
I am under the impression that since children and young adults utilise only part of their brain functions, they are more vulnerable to have conditions such as these. They have the unjaded quality that most adults do not have. ALso, this has got to with their cognitive processes. Some may call this ESP (extra-sensory perception).
I prefer the term "MSP" as it speaks for itself!
Not only does the person utilises the 5senses, he has a 6th sense that helps him. If you'd consider it a blessing!
Also ESP is found to be "associated with a relaxed state of mind and a freer, more atavistic level of altered consciousness".
It's got to do with parapsychology that I know nothing about. Lol.
I haven't personally but a friend of mine does it frequently.
An example would be that once she dreamt that she got a job working in an office for a company with a red sign. That's all she remembered. The week after that she got the exact job working in a high rise and the company sign was red with white writing.
Yes I do all the time...first time I was aware of it when I had a vision 1 day before Eric Clapton's son died....then a day later it was in the news...but my theory is I "felt" it...now as I am older and understand that my visions are only a portal to view the future...not meant to change it...why I have this gift/curse I don't know...but it has proved that life is too short ...I've seen it too many times....
I have precognition frequently , most often i see something in dream and then see it again , or something very similar in reality . A few days ago i had a dream with a very bazaar image of a stoat doing this crazy dance along a fence . The following day there was a wildlife program on the TV explaining that the stoat uses this crazy dance to hypnotise rabbits into a trance, then it gets extremely close and kills the rabbit . If this scenario had happened in reverse seeing the TV program first and then having the dream , then we would not think it was anything strange because it happened in a more logical order . It's difficult to explain , but thoughts and dreams are how we interact with the ethereal realms that are not subject to liner time as in our reality . It's only our logical mind that's routed in this physical reality that needs to reason everything into a predictable order of cause and effect . However if precognition can predict an event that hasn't happened yet , the logical mind is left pondering how it is possible to perceive such things , hence the name pre-cognition. It's our subconscious , abstract , creative mind that is more able to experience things that fall outside the realm of logic . It's difficult for the logical and cognitive left hemisphere of the brain to interpret and pigeon hole , and remember abstract experiences , but it can learn to recognise them over time .
I watched a program and found it very interesting that young children up to the age of 5 use predominantly the right hemisphere of the brain . This side of the brain is related to emotion , creativity , empathy ect . They experience the world in this way until they begin to learn the names / labels for things and then start to logically categorise and string the relationships together between these labels . This is of course how they create an understanding of the world and is why they swap to a left hemisphere reasoning , which becomes dominant in the majority . Around teenage years something similar occurs where a rewiring of the brain happens . Areas for emotion , judgement and impulse control are more active in comparison a mature brain that reasons more logically and intellectually . I find it interesting that among metaphysical understanding children are considered more open than adults . I wonder if it's because most adults use a different part of their brain that's routed in a practical and physical understanding of the world . The only part of our brains that's still really open to perceive these subtle abstract signals is the deep subconscious . Unless of course you've trained your conscious mind to recognise and be aware of them .
This is a difficult subject to try and understand because i still haven't tried to answer how it is even possible for the concept of something to exist before the event . Is it possible that the whole of reality has happened before and we're aware of our paths before we get here . Is it possible that we have brief flashes of events that our deepest subconscious remembers somehow . Or does the fact that we remembered or consciously assimilated an random abstract concept from one of our dreams somehow bring it into being . It's a very interesting subject to ponder .
Nice posting everyone .
I have witnessed things differently ,so I am under a differnt impression, but I understand now how you see it.Thank you for your explaination LR
It is pretty apparent that a good number of people have these experiences,no matter what we believe it to be.
Dear Oceane, we know you love your science as do I...
One question, how do you explain the gaps (In my case months or years long) ?
... almost ten years ago, I 'saw' the cycle ending.
Little by little, I see that cycle doing so.
as an aside...
I have dreampt, for others, more often than for myself.
The only thing I mght offer at this time Fallen,is that perhaps our dreams might actually influence and create blueprints of what will happen.Instead of the other way around.
OR that it is an entrainment into the Akashic record and it is cyclematic because of natural tendancies in the magnetic field.I think they are connected so..maybe.
all the time. i normally dream it, so some people will call the deejavu, but it always ends up happening just like i dreamt it. its scary and cool at first, then its awesome. :)
i dream the future all the time- it's a gift,
sometimees i know what's gonna happen before it happens adn i can change the future- it's so weird but its who i am
aye... many who 'see' the future say they change it.
all you're doing is making that path happen, earlier, or later...
there is little effect one can actually have, on a fixed point...
Tres bizzare. Happens to me a lot weidly enough. Sometimes I think something has already happened. weird right? Like remembering seeing a movie years before it has actually come out. Thinking I have known someone when I haven't even met them yet.
I get the thinking something happened all the time its usually very specific yet mundane. On the flashes part, no flashes but I've always had an almost bibblical accurate gut feeling. One of my relatives once asked me how a relationship they were entering into was gonna go due to my gut feeling.
This actually happens to me quite often.
One of my friends thinks i'm psychic but i'm not sure if that is really it.
My mom says this happens to her a lot, and it doesn't shock her that it happens to me as well.
this happens to me, but what classify's someone as being physic?
I have had "visions" that have come true over decades, but not with any frequency. I tend to keep myself closed to most visions, not wanting to know when something bad is going to happen.
When it comes to setting goals or making choices, I am usually right on the mark.
Einstein (not sure if I spealt that correctly) stated that it is impossible to travel to the future, but it is possible to see around the curve of time, and see into the future. If we remember the past, and can alter the arc of our future. Then why not in reverse??? Why can't we change the past, and this probably/possibly(?) wouldn't even require us to actually go there (not sure how that would work though). Why couldn't people not be able to remember the future. Just offering a view point that could actually be explained scientifically. I absolutely love me some quantum physics.
-Sophia-
have endured 'flashes from the future' many, many times.
used to be scared of it. till reading a response to a previous thread.
Now, I'm 'looking forward' to ending a particular ten year cycle... [['tis a tad overdue.]]
Sammantha, precognition is something I've experienced as well. For example, when I was 16- week before I actually did I dreamed of meeting who is now an ex-girlfriend. Or, when I was 18 waking out of a dead sleep terrified about a funeral I dreamed of- only to see it happen exactly as it did in the dream 4 years later. Since then I've dreamed of smaller things, like meeting up with who was later a sexual partner and such....but it never weakened.
Kelly Bulkeley has a book out that you might be interested in .... Soul, psyche, brain: new directions in the study of religion and brain-mind science.
Its pretty interesting.
I have been able to see things that will happen but mostly pertains to people and how their life will turn out. Only have been able to see people that are extremely close to me.
Something I have been able to do for a long time but only in the last year have I tried to focus and do it on purpose.
So much to learn and never enough time.

I've sensed things from dreams before. Never knew what exactly what to think of it. I know I haven't seen death but my parent has for a close family member. I tend to see injuries before they happen. Like a warning.

That seems quite use full!!! Would you mind elaborating?

"I never knew what to exactly think of it."
I will go on though. To say that dreams can see into the future is one thing, however as far as science goes, I believe that it's the underlying emotion that warns us about the future. To express what we do in our sleep is a pure form of ourselves. To see the future or warnings might just mean that one doesn't feel right about something. Doesn't mean it should be ignored. It means one should listen to the warning. Even if they believe in seeing the future or not.
The past establishes preceden, the present is momentum, the future is where that momentum carries us. There are arcs or probabilities. Perception and reality co-create each other.

Want to see the future? Just look in the mirror. :P
^To understand that you'd have to do science research. Though that can be as easy as using google for the answer.
Scientists pay attention...A large Ball of enerny going up and down a loop. at the bottome a railway station, on each side four ticket masters... The energy ball goes up and down the valley passsing the ticket boys...
As it gains momentum the ticket boys feeel it rush by...
The energy ball is stopped by a leaver... at this point each staions boy watching the energy ball has 3 coins...
Whren the energy ball crashes... as it passes the staions boys the coins in their pockets alter positions.
The equation- as the energy ball increases its JEV the outcomes increaSAE EXPONTENTAILLYT...THUS THE hARDON cOLLIDOIR IS A TOY TO BE TWEAKED...tHE MORE ENERGY THAT PASSES THE BALL BOYS THE GREATER THE CHANCES OF A WIERD OUT COME....THUS ENERGY+MULTIPLE DIMENSION OUTCOMES.
colider, colider... people see so many answers to that possible tool of destruction. whoosh. sorry, rant over.
The ten year cycle I wrote of nearing and, of that I am sure.
I also see portent of such; but as mentoned by some, it's the emotion I recall strongest... am wondering if there is a connection?
What kind of emotional connection are you referring to? Please elaborate.

Intuition.
Simply put, SammanthaWolf, the 6th sense and emotion. If you feel as if something will happen due to emotions then you should listen to those feelings.
When i was around 8 years old i had a vivid dream of an orthodontic surgery and everything that happened. I assumed it was for someone else, maybe someone close to me. As it turns out i was wrong, it was for me. At 16 years old i had orthodontic surgery, i had my jaws broken and mouth wired shut. Now i usually try to listen and understand what im dreaming when and if they come around.
I have had dreams that have come true in the end. Nothing prophetic but cause to give me deja vou pretty often.
I hade few dreams of people dieing and they came true.
I am no stranger to Precognitive abilities. I have visions every few days, at no particular time of day. It always seems more clear if I have fresh blood in my system. My visions are accurate down to every last detail, and can be of events a number of years into the future to as soon as the next day.
I've had things like this happen, sometimes its days in two particular cases the dreams and the events were a decade apart
Not to rain on anyone parade but there was one time a prophet called my house and said that I was gonna go into business internationally I was like yeah right.lol. I believe there is true prophets but I also believe there is fake prophets. In the case of that call. I think it was a fake but im not sure.so.
WTF is the defo of a prophet? anyone know?
Exactly, nobody does, grips my shit, everyone spouting off about sh*t they are all just guessing at.
Hands up here...I have no idea...some bearded guy who dunks people in water and says he knows whats coming, so let's build a boat? What if it isn't like that? What if it is just a growing feeling or a sudden flash?
What if it is all of those things..would you even recognise any of them? What does it matter, its always different for everyone.
Apparently there is one flash coming...it may take out radio coms..
http://bcove.me/203pipur
I thought that everyone saw and heard things.
It's pretty normal in my house. I think it is something left over from a time before language. People use it all the time but only notice it when it is something traumatic.
Really not a big deal.
Yes that is NOT deja vu at all. When you dream something that will happen in the FUTURE, it means it's not happened yet...not something you've seen before.
I remember as a kid, i dreamt of seeing a school bus turned over into a ditch with kids hopping out of the back of it. Sure enough when I woke up and went to turn on the tv, I saw the same thing happen on the news.
This is just one moment out of a few others.
I'm going to state some things in my words and give a reference as well for those who always want one which explains my rationale on the topic.
Deja vu is a feeling of having been somewhere, or experienced something before. This usually doesn’t deal with something you have experienced in a dream but most often something in the past. Deja vu deals with feeling like you have had a similar experience, met someone before, been someplace before, etc.
"Precognition refers to the phenomenon of being able to see or sense the future or become familiar with something that has not come to pass yet but will take place in the future. In other words, precognition is knowing something beforehand and such knowledge is not based upon rational deductions of a logical analysis. Unlike precognition, Deja vu has noting to do with visions of the future.”
http://www.buzzle.com/articles/is-there-a-difference-between-precognition-and-deja-vu.html
Therefore you would have experienced a precognitive dream. You remember Minority Report where the "precogs" saw a crime ahead of time in a dream state and their enforcers would go out and arrest people who were supposedly going to commit a crime?
This would more closely relate to precognition rather than deja vu in my opinion.
Deja vu is merely a physical seeing of what your mind and body wanted to happen. Whether people believe it or not, the bad and good come from coincidence and the evilness of the mind. Things are just meant to happen if they do, nothing you can do but just live on through it
Yes. I have this weird ability to make things happen as I envision them to, and they happen as well. That might be some weird mesmorism on my part. It's rather lovely to experience though.
deja vu is an interesting occurrence... many people also claim to have day dreams of things that happen shortly after.... others call these visions. But sometimes they can be described as the same things. =]
Cool ability, Nikky.
Now, the question goes:
does it happen because you envision it
OR
do you envision because it will happen?
Or both
( :
Yes, I've had several occurrences like that over the years. I believe a lot of it to be subconscious with the worst ending up happening. I also seem to have a knack for predicting things. I know a lot of what is going to be said before it happens. Both in dreams and while awake.
Just be aware of the self-fulfilling prophecy, its a force to be reckoned with. Not trying to discredit anyone just stating some things we engineer knowingly or unknowingly based on what we think is going to happen.
Wow. A lot, of posting. Yay!!!!!!
I agree with the succontious (sp?) theory because I myself cannot fathom why on earth would a yellow car end up in a ditch just because I saw it.
