I saw it already..loved it..Christian Bale didn't suck (as I expected..because he did when he chased dragons at the Reign of Fire movie..argghh!)
And also the movie gave justice to Lucius Fox, (Morgan Freeman) because SOME movies don't give enough justice to the other characters.
And the villain was good and also Katie Holmes..it was good...yeah, I loved it..

I really enjoyed the first Batman with Keaton playing the caped crusader... the next movies just kinda turned total cheese. I hope the new one is dark like the original was.

Well, on my behalf King....I LOVED IT!!!!

I loved the movie from beginning to end! I mean, I loved the gadgets, the batmobile...it was awesome...."I need to get me one of those" lol...the movie had its comical outbursts which were pretty funny. I love the action, the fight scenes were awesome especially when he went to train to loose all fear and Henri Ducard (Liam Wilkinson) taught him how to fight....*I WISH I KNEW HOW TO FIGHT LIKE THAT*....Anyway, I got out of the theater like --WOAH!--

It was great!!!! Im so buying the DVD....Christian Bale is an amazing actor! by the way I kind of did not like Katie Holmes in that movie....Also, Michael Caine who played Alfred, hes an extraordinary actor. Played Alfred's part very well. I dont think another actor could have pulled it off as well as he did.

I just saw it today. I brought my younger brother with me and he enjoyed it too.

No way, this movie is much better then the Burton one.

Its a more serious movie, burtons one was good and i have no problems with it but strictly from a batman movie point of view not including other movies made by the same people or any sub-culture hangers on this movie was much better.

But then again everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

They made the flying scenes way better, of course with today's special effects

...i loved everything about this flick and will definately purchase a copy for my dvd collection! i especially LOVED the cast! ohmyGOD! star after star performing impecably right there before my eyes! (i have a *thang* for Gary Oldman, btw... %^D~)

...on a scale from 1 to 10 i give this flick a 100! ;) love it love it love it!!!

I need to go see it, here in my country, going to the movies cost $1.75 USD on wednesdays, any other day it costs $3.50 USD, cheap! LOL

Oh I have to see this film. But I am kind of hoping that it is going to be great so maybe I will be let down.. but so far Ive read that it is a good movie. No where near as good as Sin City though, that movie wins hands down!!

in no small way i consider it the best of the batman movies, and so far, the best movie of this year. where as before the movies were mostly all action with little to no involvement in bruce, this one took both to great lengths. it's more real, in every conceivable way. christian bale is amazing, as i expected him to be, everyone else golden in their parts as well. more than a few surprises within lead to what is easily a contender for movie of the year for me. it's dark and intelligent with heavy doses of heart. i highly recommend it.

It's dark, shows his true character. I was a bit reserved at first going in with Christian Bale playing Batman, I didn't really think that as an actor he'd done enough to be able to play the part with enough emotion without looking silly in it as I kinda felt when Val Kilmer played Batman; but I believe Bale pulled it off superbly, showing the true inner battle that one feels when losing their loved ones and such. Not since Michael Keaton in the first movie, has anyone played Batman with any justice. I also like the fact that they played to the "playboy side" Of Bruce Wayne, they didn't make him out to be some blubbering love struck male, as Batman never really is in the comics. Michael Caine played Alfred just right, showing the feelings a life long butler/caretaker he would have for his charges/family. The whole cast and crew was excellent ... the only issues I had was with the casting of Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes ... I don't think her acting is really up to par with a movie of this magnitude, I feel someone else could have played the part a bit better. Oh and did I mention the Cillian Murphy is totally frggin hot I love his eyes. I dont' think i wanna see first I HATE THE NEW BAT MOBILE. its ugly.... and well the rest might be good but thats my main concern lol. the bat mobile have to be nice and sleek looging not rugged

the movie was bad ass... it was dark and it was more realistic then the others have been... it was tight

christian bale was brilliant, as expected from the moment that i decided that he was the only acceptable choice to play batman if a new batman movie was made.

the fight scenes ticked me off because bale actually learned a new martial arts style for the movie...and every scene was shot too close up to be able to really tell what anyone was doing.
anyone who's seen bale's movie, equilibrium, knows that bale can fight...and that when he does...you want to see it!

also..katie holmes was a ditz and should NOT have been an assistant DA since she couldnt deliver any lines without smirking...
but everyone else was wonderful....particularly loved the dialogue between bale and morgan freeman

this movie was by far THE best movie of the year. it beat the crap out of star wars and.....well any other movie this year at that. this movie makes me question my favorite super hero (JTHM..... yes he is a hero) the ending was an awsome tie in I WONT SAY IT!!!!!!! besides thatwords cant describe how amazing this movie was. P.S. GET OVER IT!!!! this movie is better than the burton one yes he did an amazing job but ppl ARE able to top no matter how rare that is :)

Probably the best car chase since Bullitt or the Blues Brothers. I abhore car chases. I usually use that time to go to the snack bar. (In the case of the Bourne Travesty I could have had a 3 course dinner!) I really loved the car chase in Batman Begins. He drove across ROOFTOPS for Pete's sake! Gotta love that.

Anyone but me think it's odd that noone near the microwave emitter exploded when it was turned on? It vaporized water, right? Through pipes, right? People are, what, 70% water or more? Hmmmm.....

It is nothing like the burton movies and no where close to the crap that schulmacher did! This was the best Batman movie ever!

Haven't seen it yet and really have no desire. I personally think that after Michael Keaton was no longer Batman that the movies started to suck, although I did love all the other characters in Batman Forever.

I really wasn't sure about this one untill I went to go see it.... Didn't like the new Batmobile at first...and didn't think anyone could compare to Burton and Keaton. The 3 sequels, including the one directed by Burton... just weren't up to par at all. I can't say they completely sucked.. because.. well... it's still Batman. And Batman just doesn't suck. :)

My mind was thoroughly blown. Although I never thought I'd say this, I also thought this one was better then the original Burton/Keaton Batman. My only complaint is Katie Holmes. The one area that the original is definatley better. Basinger wins that one hands down. But fortunatley, you don't have to put up with her too much in the movie.
Scarecrow friggin rocked. Great concept for a villian.

i saw this movie the other day. it truely was very good. it was better than i expected.

Actually, Scarecrow is one of my all-time favorite Bat-villians. Next to the Joker, no one comes close. Cillian Murphy did a good job in the role, though I pictured Crane being a bit older.

He was the perfect villian for this movie where Bruce Wayne is learning to turn fear against his enemies. I think the whole theme of fear throughout this movie made it what it was. Not just a great action movie, but a psychological one as well.

Jason, I too thought it was odd about the microwave emitter, but such a weapon was designed to target larger bodies of water, one would assume. The frequency would have to be high enough to not affect humans, otherwise it would have been a different kind of weapon. Then again... it's just a movie. =)

I really hope they continue this lineage of movies, because I cannot wait to see the next incarnation of The Joker.

Christian Bale got his 1st break in Empire of the Sun, early 80's movie and has done some great films ever since, without the stardom, which he says suits him fine, and he was half serious when he mentioned he did not want Batman to be 'big'... a great actor and from the reviews here a great film going to see it in a weeks time.. YAY

It was awesome! I saw it with some friends, and what made it even better was the fact that we saw war of the worlds at the same time...next to war of the worlds...Batman looked even more awesome, because...WAR OF THE WORLDS WAS CRAP.

I think it's better than the other Batman movies.

I saw it last night, I loved it. I liked the whole human psychology thing at that one place where he trained. Alfred was awesome, Christian Bale was great. Katie Holmes's character was a dumbass, but I thought she played her o.k.

i was generally impressed with it i must say. much better then movies 3 and 4 could have ever been.

im glad it showed more history but it also put me to sleep.. disappointed
