I am new here. I been on this site for 14 days and i am learning a lot from all of u
I respect everyone's opinions, believes ect...

Some of u are going to disagree.

But i been talking to some people here that are giving me the wrong impression. Some too me sound totally crazy. I am not saying that everyone here or everyone that i have talked too is, but some have really creep me out. About what they believe a Vampire is or how their lifestyle should be.

I am fascinated by vampires. Well what i have seen in some movies. Do they really exist? I don't know.
How are u guys different from those in the movies or vampires like those in the movies really exist?

Do they really exist or people want to make fiction a reality?

well, I exist.
I work, pay taxes, eat, sleep, shit, fuck and will eventually die.
I eat garlic, I can go out in the sun (although I perfer not to, I'm a light skinned Irish girl),
At one time I was a Psychology major, so I can see your point on some questions.
First up, don't believe everything you read on here. Anyone can come on here and claim to be anything they want, welcome to the internet.
There are some who do drink blood, no they don't drain bodies dry or anything like that. Weather or not they have to is another issue altogether.
Then there are people like me who drain energy. I go to a concert and I don't sleep for a couple of days, If it was a good show.
Believe what you wanna believe. What ever makes it easier for you to sleep at night.....

Well first thing is, you really shouldn’t go by what you seen in movies or TV. We all know how things get portrayed in a stereotypical manner. That goes for a lot of things & subjects in Hollywood movies, not just vampirism. There was a thread on here a VERY good one that talked about the facts & fictions about vampires and how we are portrayed. Unfortunately I don’t remember the title of it right off hand (If anyone knows the one I speak of please post it). I mean it’s not hard to see what is fake, dumb, and completely exaggerated about vampires and/or vampirism. I could get into it but it would be a long list of things…

I cannot post my opinions on this without it stirring up some kind of trouble.

I think alot of people just want to feel "different" and powerful, and command respect and worship from the masses.

I'm just here to share the information that I do have to help others.

I think we create our own perceptions of reality.

Do I think that forms of vampirism exist, yes.

Are we all vampires here- no.

Our own personal connection to occult themes is something we have to determine for ourselves. Since some of us need physical proof and others need to follow their instincts.

What I feel is the most important, is that we are able to speak freely about our beliefs and explore the words/worlds of others even if we might walk away thinking it is crap. We have an opportunity to explore and through our readings and maybe even some research, discover our own personal truth.

I cannot post my opinions on this without it stirring up some kind of trouble.

I find it odd how you always expect ppl to elucidate their beliefs and feelings about the main issue of this website. I know you joined because you found these truths to be interesting, but you constantly debate over the truth of vampires. I myself am not trying to offend you or anyone else who feels as you do but you’re reading into it too seriously in the wrong direction (Like movies & other fictional things). Just look at how they display vampires there supposed to be evil, conniving, breasts. On here we try to display how all vampires aren’t what they are made out to be. I for one take it very seriously and am offended by the debate.

Well, I personally am getting a little irritated by the people that don’t do research and come on here with their opinions on our beliefs and lifestyles. Basically with what they seen in movies and bullshit like that in their minds. If you have studied the history of vampires you would know it dates back thousands of years and is nothing like it is portrayed in movies. So to all of those who have joined this VAMPIRE site without doing any research or studying anything, go back and read a few things, then return with your insight and views on our religion, lifestyles, etc.

ok that may be true but when someone (not you curiosax just an example) comes on here with thought already in their minds that vampires are fake and we are just sick & crazy for drinking or exchanging blood or energy. Or they enter the site with the thought of what they've seen on TV and put us down for what we are, it pisses me off. I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees it this way.

It's cool to want answers or to learn more about it here but just be careful to who you try to learn from. Yes, there are a lot of fakers and pretenders here, of course, but some of us are real & take this seriously. there are no vampires (as far as i know) that are like those you have seen on movies. those are all fake. the ones that live now, its simply a energy defiseincy ((i know i spelt that wrong)) that vamps make up with the blood or energy of others.

I understand what you mean curiosax. The way some people state that they are vampires can be a bit hard to believe. I'm new at this too, and try to keep an open mind. I believe vampires are real, but I don't believe in shapeshifting, or flying or turning into mist, or that sleeping in coffins is a nessessity..I also don't believe in the crossphobia or the garlic thing, and i sure don't believe that vampires live for ever. I believe in HLVs. And Ravencadwell coulen't have put it better. I believe in what makes sense to me, wich doesen't mean that I don't also believe that there are real vampires, but I rather leave the Hollywood creations in the screan, because to me it doesen't make sense.

Stormie, Irishmen, Indians and Germans are all tangible. Vampires are not. This is not to say that they dont exist, but that it cannot be satisfyingly proven. One can prove that they have an Irish background.

First and foremost, you need to define what the word "vampire" means to you. If you constantly conjure up images of undead individuals sleeping in coffins and turning into ash when sunlight hits them, that's fictional.

But vampirism comes in all shapes and sizes. Some feed on the auras/energies of people, some feed on blood, some feed on sexual energy, and so on and so forth.

Being a vampire doesn't necessarily mean being a Tom Cruise (Lestat) as in not dying despite of having his throat slit and getting singed in such an intense fire outbreak.

The essence of being a vampire means you have this certain "condition" wherein you have a need to "feed" off energy/life force from others since most vampires tend to use up their own energy/life force at a faster pace.

Ok but it might be that not everyone here seek to any definitions, many poeple might be here for many other reasons & thats one point which makes this place alive & interesting...

love there are many kind from the blood drinker so the energy absorbing. First of all those who drink blood usually have a close circle and they basically drink each others blood..BUt they take precausions first like h.i.v. test and so forth. I'm an energy one meaning that I have the ability to absorb energy from other as well as send it back..If you need more I can completly fill you in.

I lead a pretty normallife, excep that I sunburn easily, and can get pretty tired, and sometime get a bit of anxiety due to feeding off the wrong energies subconsciously.

I am not a film vampire, and I dont even think Im a deliberate vampire, I just like to utilise energy, and sometimes drink blood (only very occaisionally)

I've met tons of vampires on-line, tons of role-players, and some in real-life, all in the last 6 months. Yes, many of them do drink blood. It's a fact. I, personally, do not drink blood.

well im a vampire, but im nothing like the vampires in the movies.

I am as normal as everyone else on here.. I work, I am in a loving relationship with a normal man, I pay bills, etc.. etc..
But I am a vampyre.. you couldn't tell if I was or not in public... well maybe you can depending on if it is day or night and where I'm at. I do drink blood and I do feed off of energy. That has always been a normal thing for me.

I do have natural fangs, you can see them when I smile, but that is it... I don't drain my donors, I have them sign contracts and I make sure they are clean. Sometimes I feed directly from them if they cut themselves or sometimes I'll have them cut themselves and fix me a glass of it.

I've never killed anyone and I don't plan on it either.. I walk in the sunlight and I like garlic on some of my foods that I eat. I can die by having a stake through my heart just like you can... Silver bullets kill me just like they do you.. and crosses.. well I wear one around my neck.. I'm not scared of them and they do not frighten me. Oh yeah.. if you cut off my head after I die... it would be like cutting off someone elses head.

hmmm, wow what a thread this has become! Well, first I must say that I have a very open mind about EVERYTHING! I'm not one of those people that believe something just because I've seen it, felt it, tasted it, heard it, etc.. I also believe that there are things, mortals, immortals, spirits, ghosts, etc. that are out there that I/we haven't seen. Just because one hasn't sensed a presence before, doesn't mean it's not there. So, yes I do believe in them. Yes, I do believe that there are people out there that "pretend" to be vampires/vampyres. I also think and agree with the many people on here that said that the movies are bulls**t. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I guess I just wanted to state what "my" believes are, since this IS a forum. Well i beleave that vampires do exist. and depending on the persons definition of a vamprye depends on the real answer to you question. for example....if a vampire is anyone that drinks blood well i drink blood often and our most famouse vampire in time Vlad the Inpaler ( Dracula) Really existed and is FEARED by the people of trasilvania. He not only drank the blood of his victoms he threw them on poles intill thier body wieght punched a hole in them....hence " Impaler". So if your asking my opinion yes vampires exist. Authorities will try to manipulate you in the same ways by saying you are insane or something to create order. Could you imagine how much control your authorities WOULD NOT have if they never cover your truths?

do they exist? maybe. im not sure. i think it is a very fascinating subject either way.

I personally am not a vampire but I do believe they exist, just not in Hollywood form. If this site was not filled with ppl claiming to be born in 12 B.C. and some of the other crazy stuff new members would better understand the general idea of what a modern day vampire is about.

i shall tell u the same thing lord ryu told me when i first met him, if vampyres, vampires, ghouls, demons, lycans, whatever dont exist, then y are there scientific terms and explainations for each and every one of them.

I know a guy who claims to be a werewolf too.

He says that werewolves are people stronger than others and more savage.

Then I did a research and found that werewolves actually existed.They were given an oil and that made them this beast.But obvisouly even the internet can be a lier.

I believe they exist. I get that feeling that I'm being watched when no one's around and I know it. I sometimes feel warm air rushing across my neck as if someone's breathing down it. Above all I can not prove that they are real...but then again...this is just a question of one's beliefs. So there's how I feel.
