I don't know if this has ever been done before, but I have had this question on my mind for quite a while. Is there any vampires out there that can transform? I personaly can not, but some one I meat once said that he could. So can any of you turn? If so, into what? Does it matter what clan you are from? If not, do you know anyone who can? I was just wondering if it was just fact of Hollywood bull $***. Thank you for any information you can give me.

It is possible to alter ones aura to give the impression of something other then human.

And in astral space, one can take any form that please.

I remember reading, not long ago about a woman that dabbles in the occult, and claimed to have had a psychic vampire as a friend for quite some time (bummer. I scrolled down my list of favorites and I can't find the link), and she said that for two times he showed her two forms of transformation: the first time, he was able to change his figure into the one of a woman dressed in gray, the other time, he disapeared gradually in front of her.
I don't know if these were actual transformations or if it were illusions caused by mesmerism (they both meditated together before it, so she said), or if this was a projection of some sort. Don't know what though. Aura, like you guys said? have no idea. I've never seen it.

Agree, but could what she saw have been an illusion caused by mesmerism? Could the "transformations" she saw be the result of an hypnotic suggestion?

I believe it is possible to transform, however, it is extremely draining for one, and ludicrously difficult to accomplish successfully. You would need to amass a large sum of energy to even fathom transformation. Occult knowledge is required, because one requires the wisdom of the old arts if one desires to change one's form.

i dont think transformation is possible. there is no information on vampires being able to transform.but it is said that there are two type of vampires -physical and phantom vampires.

Sorry, I've never seen a physical transformation either. I'll believe it when I see it, because I believe it's just the hype of the myth perpetrated by Hollywood and the ignorance of past ages. Aura transformation, though, is plausible to me.

I actually just picked up a very good book, called Forbidden Rites: a necromancer's manual of the fifteenth century. This book is very easy to read.
It has a couple of references to psychological conjurations which of coarse is the key to transformations.
This may help you very much.

I would have to see this with my own eyes before I could even consider believing in something so far fetched.

I have never seen it with my own eyes but that isn't to say that it doesn't happen there are so many things in this world that noone can explain and just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it don't exsist or can't happen. In this day and age anything is possible.

I do not think that a physical change is possible, but Ii do think that from time to time we are capable of "beasting out". As far as Ii know we don't, but Ii have heard of modern day lycan that get small physical traits.

Most legends and myths are based on very little fact. Just because they exist doesn't make them true. This is why most people claiming to be vampires aren't taken seriously. What's next flying through the air like mist?

Just because they are named legends or myths does not mean they are untruth. In the same sense, it doesn't mean the are truth. We must all seek out our own truth, transformation can take place on many levels of existence. So keep in mind that when someone speaks of transformation they may be speaking out of context and meaning and completely different thing alltogether. I personally believe that all things are possible, because of the fact that legends and myths were based on a reality at some point in time.

Maybe, because in the ancient days, people didn't understand the nature of some nocturnal (nocturnal, night, night dark, dark scary, because i can't see in the dark, and don't know what can happen to me) animals, like bats, wolves, and bats give the illusion of seeing in the dark, the vampire bat that feeds on blood of catlle is known for a long time, wolves are carnivores, and also hunt at night, are ferosious and attacked sheeps and other farm animals; rats have been dispised since forever, because they eat the cereals, and cause damage to homes and spread pestilence. No wonder that fearof vampires, and of those "strange" animals gave birth to such legends. All comes out of what people can't understand, then figure out an answer that suits their beliefs.

Yes, not all legends are true, but at one time the pyramids of Egypt were but a legend, so was the Trojan horse, and the hanging gardens. In fact most of the scientific finds started as a legend. Well, sure, but they remain legends until then and still are even though they've been proven. They have rich historical value. Not only that but somethings proven to be facts, especially speaking scientifically, drastically change throughout the years and can't always be relied on.

To change one's form into another. This can be anything, but exceptionally difficult to even attempt. Since we are talking about vampires specifically, I think that the logical forms one might attempt to change into would be the common bat form or wolf form.

well vampyres can "Beast out" ((Eye color change teeth grow longer)) but thats all i know about that subject and since i am not a full one i have no idea except from Lord Ryu

they can undergo some formation of change, but nothing major or that's what i think...but i could also be wrong...

i cannot but one of my closest friends can chnge how she looks entirely wiht no makeup hairdye or anythign sometimes it scares me

I'm sure that eventually some vampiryes will unlock the power of transformation. I however, do not believe that it is as of yet unlocked.

scientifically it is not possible to change ones physical form..if it was...i sure in the hell would...but as several have already staated, it is possible to manipulate ones aura as well as their astral form...

and in reference to a post about being mesmerized..yes it is very possible that what she saw was due to the fact that she was open to suggestion..its happened to people before where it was later discovered that what they had witnessed was implanted into their subconscience by mesmeric manipulation..

well transformations of such kindas as most of you have been speakin of have been quite tame compared to what ive witnessed but as to whether it was a vampire doing so was unknown to me ..... a lizardlike creature resembling a dragon was recently hanging around these rural parts ravaging cows and such and one night i happened to see the creature .....but before the so called "transformation" and during ..i was a rough sight to behold but i fled after it caught a field aflame as i was weak at the time lack of fresh blood ...but i have yet to see the creature since

I have never known anyone that could transform. That would require an unbelievable amount of determination and descipline... I seriously doubt it's possible.

an illusion would be impossible, no ammount of mind trick can dilute someone into thinking they really saw a transformation, transformation in itself is impossible, matter cannot just change from one form to another and back again, it would be possible if someone was gifted if an immense amount of muscles connecting to every inch of bone to change shape by disconnecting different parts and moving them, its just a theory ive had but could work

In the condition, the living breathing true vampyrism, no we cannot transform in actual body aspect. Yet, I do believe we do take on ther persona of an animal or some sort of creature within us, which comes out at times of stress. Which would probably lead to the aspect of people seeing us transform.

We don't turn into an actual creature, but they see it through the action and perception and from their they visiualize what we are from there.

Ok, so I was drunk at the time on 15 shots of extra strength Tequila, BUT, it happened! I swear! She was pregnant, like 8 months - about to pop - and she turned into an albino snake right before me. She had tried to kiss me first and my friend stopped her and that's why she turned into a snake a scootered away, out of the apartment. I'm for real! I'm not even joking on this one. No "LOLs." This really happened to me.

despite not seeing it myself i beleive it is possible...in researching and dabbling in the occult i have seen and heard of weirder things...plus with all the legends of vampires turning into bats surely something caused that beleif...just a thought

A physical transformation I would doubt. However,any magician worth his salt is able to work a kind of "glamour"you can find spells in many of the old grimiores.As well as goetietic magick.So a visual transformation,any magician can,a physical one,I highly doubt it.

I can't do it and I haven't seen anyone who can so maybe it must be a myth...Unless the whole clan idea is true...Then the clans that can are nowhere near me...

i wish i could transform, i have a friend whos been trying stuff for quite a while working on that kinda thing and she hasnt gotten very far.
