So, who here has ignored Cancer's suggestion to not look for the link to the new contest? Don't know what I'm talking about? Try reading the news. Cancer was right, it is driving me CRAZY!!! Any other obstinate OCDs out there who aren't going to be able to sleep tonight until they know where this link is?

Not me, i do intend to sleep, and i wont look for the link.
If it appears, cool, if not, too bad than.
When you search too much for something, the chances are... you probably wont find anything. lol

I just can't give up on a challenge! If I just knew what the damn contest was about, I could sleep knowing that it wasn't for me. But this, this is cruel torture to the highest degree!!!!

Well anythings easy to find if you know where to look. I 've irritating myself tryin to find it as well.

I'm not actively looking for it myself, I spend enough time here and do enough to find it sooner or later, It's not on my list of priorities to search for it !

When its search and seek I tend to be good at this kind of stuff .I have done this for a house contest and won by searching for an image throughout the site .All it took was using the noodle and keeping my eyes open,I haven't started to look,but I will and if i find it I will be gifting it to someone who has earned it. Now off to start looking hehe

Yes, Pain won the contest.

I though it would go a little longer.. Possibly even weeks or months. But it was won in the second day.

I formatted a special 120x60 banner. I entered it into the advertising queue. It was set to display 10 different (random) times per 24 hour period. It was just a black banner that said Click Me in red letters.

Because I put it in the advertising section, this greatly decreased the chances of a Premium Member winning (Premium Members don't see the ads up top). If you were premium, and logged in, you never would have had the chance to see it.

Also knowing how a lot of people just subconsciously overlook web ads, I though this might prolong the contest.

VR does 350,000 page views per day (rough average). Your chance of seeing the banner would have been roughly 10 in 350,000 (.0028%). Far less if you are a Premium Member. You'd have to catch it before logging in.

But seeing the banner wasn't enough. You'd have to click it too... Which Pain did. The banner was on its 14th impression when Pain clicked it. (13 other people before him had the chance of winning)
