i actually had an encounter yesterday at ft revere in hull ma. i got some orbs on video. im going to watch the rest today and see what else i cought

i seen a ghost once.it had a red face and black eyes and looked straight at me in my room.

i remember you telling me about this....i just wish i would of known about that when it had happeend i would of done an investigation right then and there.

How would I find out if there is a ghost hunting team in my area?

you would probably check with your states paranormal society. they would and do usually have a listing of all groups in that state. that way you can get either their address or number and give them a call.

or if you know some one that may be in a group and ask them.

Several ghosts and haunts at Disneyland. My ghosthunting friend at Disney that whenever we work together go looking - has another story of the ghost that haunts the Bonita Tower at the Disneyland Hotel - once again, walking the hours before dawn - the footsteps are heard down the hallway when no one is there and in the stairway with no one there and the feel of cool air as it walked past.

yes in some investigations, not many, but a couple of them the spirits did get a little violent. i think maybe 3 or 4 of them have. but then again ive been doing this for many years and it only happens that they get violent very seldom.

I've been reading a lot on ghosts and things since you started these threads.

One site started talking about poltergiests (spelling?) and said they could be something to do with psychic abilities of teenagers nearby, as opposed to ghosts. Do you agree with that thought ?

that i do not agree with. i know that there was people with abilities such as that...but when one is in a place where no one else is or has been around for a long time and these occurances still happen..i do have to dissagree with that :)

Yeah I wondered if they were getting muddled - I'm guessing if something throws stuff around everyone shouts 'poltergiest' then, if they find the moving stuff was due to a psychic teen, they make the connection without thinking that the problem was never a ghost in the first place.

Artemka, that theory to explain poltergeists has been around for long time. and it wasn't just teens. there have sited cases wher ethey believe that an adult with very strong telekinitic abilities had been the cause of the mishaps. I am not sure where you could find the story but it was reported like in the early 50's!

Which is funny when you think about that time period. They would rather it be something that was totally unheard of then to admitted that ghost exist! lol

Disneyland - in Anaheim - the one Walt built, lived at, walked and haunts. He has been seen walking Main Street and hanging around his apartment over the firehouse and by the Disney Gallery in New Orleans Square - it was being built as his new apartment but died. There are people haunting the Paradise Pier Hotel and Disneyland Hotel - cold spots, orbs, footsteps, at night a shadow behind you when you look at the windows to outside in the hallways - look around and no one there.

yes i know :)

there are many ways of doing this. one is with a tape recorder and microphone. you would have to either have a fan running or water running in order to get the white noise affect while recording.

the other is to use a digital voice recorder. the electric running through these cause the white noise affect automaticly. :)

Hi...I have moved into a new home..it'a a old farm house..and ever since I have been here,I have been catching dark shadowy movements out the corner of my eye,there has been nothing more than that happen other than me feeling a presence..should I be worried?

i do not feel that you need to be worried. they are trying to show themselves but havent the energy but to show themselves in shadow.

I wouldn't worry. It sounds like the spirit has no intention of harm, otherwise something would have happened by now.

Well,about a week ago,I got up to go use the restroom in the middle of the night and I felt threatened,like I was'nt alone,and whomever was with me did'nt want me in thier way....and another question...the shadows are sometimes short and sometimes tall...does this mean that the spirit is of different ages or just the strength of the spirit?

What do you do if you run into a trouble spirit?

SeductiveGoddess, in asnwer to your question, the length of the shadow has nothing to do with the spirit's strength or age, merely the form it wishes to assume at that point in time. (My belief anyway)

if one runs onto a spirit that likes causeing trouble then i would have to say see what kind of trouble it is causeing first. record whats its doing...this way one can figure if it a ghost or poltergiest. if it is a poltergiest then one could have a medium come into the place and try to get it to leave. that usually works, but if that dont then have the place blessed and then that should do the trick.

In all you years of doing this ghost hunting do you actully have documented or pictures of your ghost?

yes i had alot of ghost pictures but recently went through a fire and had lost all of them. but i have gotten a couple of recent E.V.P.'s.

i believe that a ghost is a spirit that is capable of holding energy.
not all spirits can hold energy but can gain it depending on who and what it is
around.

usually when a sprit haunts a place it is usually tied to it somehow.
but then again there are rouge spirits that travel. with them it is
where they can find the energy to hold their matter together.

I have seen lots of things (hard to explain things) in my life and i would be very willing to explain if possible,,, and not only see but hear.... some people are very susceptible to these kind of things

like my bestfriend seductive goddess has said i see things out the corner of my eyes 2 .it's really intresting.

that is way cool. i know sometimes it does freak people out but it does grow on a person after a while.

another accurance i have is i always feel a presence with me and i have lost many people i love .but this presence is so strong that it literally has the power to make me calm and at ease does anyone know what this might be?

this could mean many things. but it would boil down to the idea that you feel very comfortable with them and they feel comfortable with you and they let you know that.

i think i have saw ghosts many times but once i thought i saw a ghost

i was sleeping in my room in november about 3 years ago, well i had my door open and out of my window accross the room i saw a bright flash of light, and i thought i was dreaming. well then in a matter of seconds through my open door i saw a very short strange looking firgure that was half way in the doorway and i could only see the figure. only the vertical left side of its body. it was glowing brilliant white light, but i could distiguish it had a very small mouth with giant black eyes.. well once i saw it i couldnt help but stare and my body was completely paralyzed, and all i could was blink my eyes after staring at it for what seemed like eternity, i blinked my eyes 1 last time and the creature was gone and i fell instantly back to sleep. then once i awoke in the morning i had an extreme migraine which lasted exactly 15 days, and then went away and i have felt nothing like that since i had this experience

but in conclusion i am not sure what this being was if it was a ghost or some other entity, but i strongly believe in them. i have never had an experience like this before or after but i have saw other things which lead me to believe ghosts do walk the earth but none of my experiences was as dramatic as this

ever since the age of 17 i have had several encounters... out of all my experiences one was not a very good one... i never forget my experinces for the most part...

my shortest experience... i was 19 living in a small apartment... i was in the bathroom doing my hair... when i seen a shape of a man with lots of color around him like a rainbow... just ran though my room... i seen the reflection of color and his image in the mirrior... when i turned to look in my room i caught the last of his shape and all the color around him just vanish... i was never scared it just tripped me out and i call him "the runner" because he just ran past me me... no harm done...

I have encountered a lot of spirits over the years. mainly loved ones. when i was about 11 or 12 i had a bad experience with a ouija board and the ghost or whatever was not happy. after we moved it did not follow us. it used to open windows and leave knifes in things.

I have had one encounter with an angry or disheveled spirit but other then that the rest were peaceful, including the one night I sware I saw my grandmother

in my family bloodline as a native american although pretty much only my biological dad and my biological auntie and i have only this ability were actually able to sense and see that that in which cannot be seen, such as with my father and my auntie they have the ability to sense and see things such as for instance ghosts or even aliens.
My point is many oftentimes over the course of 11 years i have thus slowly but surely developed the sight that in which enables me to see and to actually talk to ghosts. most times when i feel lost and confused or whatever i go to the cemetary and walk around all night talking with different spirits seeking their guidance.
I wouldnt exactly say its an ability im proud to have and to show off, its just my belief that most times people like myself can be well misunderstood. just thought i would give some input on the experiences ive been through.

i thought i saw a ghost yesterday, then relized that it was my dirt sock trying to get away he he he

Well,guys,I had something really strange happen to me today,I know it's Friday the 13th,and I've had encounters before but this one was very different...I went to go outside cause i thought I heard my cat cry and my porch light has been blown for 2 days,so I had to carry a flashlight with me...I got outside,looking for my cat..my cat ran to my feet and then I THOUGHT I saw a lightning bug,so i turned the light off and the glowwing dot got brighter but as I walked toward it,it just vanished and the wind blew over me,it was so cold,it was like ice,ever since i've been living in my new house I feel that someone or something is with me...and it seems they r getting stronger...what should i do?

your my bestfriend ever and after what happened lastnight i know ur connected to me on more levels then 1.what i say to do is kindly ask the spirit to plz back off and if that don't work u may have to get your house blessed by a priest to cast out the spirits.love u sis,

I don't like ghost hunting... you know some ghosty are innocent and some they're just nasty. but it's the way they work. we should not hunt them. instead we should befriends with them

I have many stories but the one that freaked me out the most was after my brother passed away. He died of food poisoning leading to dehidration. 2 nights after he passed away, I was laying on my couch and suddenly started to feel like I was continuously throwing up and bearly had energy to move. I felt pinned and my roommates said I looked like I was having a siezure. It was nt the first time I've been through something like that, but it freaked me out because it was my brother talking to me from the other side.

BondageXBabe.....I've never had an encounter to that extreme but I have had encounters but mercy girl,bless your heart,that would have scared the poop out of me....

man oh man thats a bad experience, and well unfortunately i have been there and done that, so many stories, hmm heres an example, my guardians move to a different house in town every year and ive always had to make sure to go with them because lots of times i had to bless a house they moved to.
and well as far as your one relative im sorry you have to go through that experience, ive been there too, many a family member have come to communicate to my guardians through my connection. its not always pleasant.

i have been having experiences that are hard to explain with my dead x bf lately.and i still love him so much as he does me and so today i'm just relaxing cause its the day he committed suicide.

Sometimes I think people watch to many episodes of Ghost Busters. I mean, yes, I have seen orbs when I've been out late at the local cemetry and seen spirits in my house but whit noise?
There is a scientific explination for that. Surely it's just the static coming off whatever your using and then you, in your mind, so desperate to believe that it works, picking up noises and making them into words?
Thats like turning on the TV with no cable in it, watching the fuzz and saying someone spoke to you.

I'm not out to offend anyone, last thing I want to do I just can't get my head around the who white noise thing.

i know you dont mean to offend anyone mistress. and as far i know you havent. the white noise thing has been a thing of controversy every since it was developed in the mid 1950's. so it is a very wide area to work with :)

everyone is entitled to their opinion, i used to never believe in that kind of thing either but as i grew up from 10 years old just things progressed that changed me. some people are open to things, and then theres also some that arent and its ok. its what makes everyone unique and makes things interesting for conversation. i know for sure that i never wanted to be able to see things or do things like that.

Well I find ghost hunting to be facinating. I have had experiences myself. The first time I can remeber was when I was about 3-4 years old and I was awoken by an image coming down the hall toward my room. I have had others where I felt something touch me or a overwhelming smell. Another time when dealing with a not so nice being I have seen things fly across a room. I have friends who dealt with a nasty spirit in a house which ended up making them move. The kids in the home said they were told his name was the boss man and that the house they lived in at one time was a school and play ground that had burned down many many years ago. So there is some crazy shit out there.

I do believe that if a spirit has enough willpower it can stay earthbound. I have had many encounters with such things since I was small.

I've had plenty of experiences including full-body apparitions for almost my whole life but I think the current energies in my mother's house are the creepiest I've experienced since I went ghost hunting with my mom in Helper, Utah....we currently have four energies of sorts living in the house and three of them are creepy....the other one feels like being around a "teddy-bearlike" grandpa....the three scary ones are as follows: a little girl who can only be seen in two rooms in the house, a young bride who mostly stays in the same areas as the girl except for the bride haunts the bathroom as well, and the other one is an old woman who reminds me of the grandmother from Flowers In The Attic...my mom lives near the old mill and my friends and I visit there frequently although I get an unpleasant feeling when I go by there at night...and now even more recently I am away at college and live next door to an old hospital....it's not a hospital anymore but when it was it was the hospital that held the victims of the scofield mining accident...there's rumors that a few of the rooms in the building that I now live in were used as an over flow for the old hospital......every once in a while I get the scent of hospital .....ya know the medicine mixed with death type scent......

well since this thread is still here i have another ghost story

well this past april i was hanging out with my best friend shane. and him and i were best friends since i was in 9th grade i am now 29 and so was he. well this past winter i decided to return to my home town, and at this time shane had moved only a couple houses away. when we went to the bars and pubs together quite frequently and he was a jokester and playing jokes on everyone and teased people, of course all in good taste.

well one april afternoon he overdosed on heroin and died. i was really crushed that this happened to him cause he was my best bud, infact i am not still completely over it.

well in the week of his death in my dreams everynight i drempt of him and his practical jokes he played, infact they felt so real i wondered if they actually happened when i awoke. with these dreams reoccuring everynight it was getting rather bothersome and i wanted them to stop. then one morning i was asleep on my couch and i was like coming out of a dream just barely awake, i was lying on my back facing up, i saw a blurry face that seemed to come in focus very slowly and i realized it was shane, although he looked sick white and deffinately dead, and i whispered to him i know you were a practical joker in real life please dont be one in death..

and after i said this to what ever it was i never had another dream or the feeling he was with me, although i miss the dreams of him they were very disturbing and i am glad they are gone..

My ex sent me a link to a haunted database. It tells you the reports and rumors of the haunted places in your state and town. Not bad reading.

GruesomeTendencies, I think it is very cool what you do. I would like to get more info, do you have anything in your Journal...you might have mentioned it and I missed it.

my worst experience being a hunter.
i had a very small crew about 6 years ago. just 2 other ppl that had said they knew
what they was doing. so on the first hunt with this crew, one had said that something
had touched them. we started dong an E.V.P. and the recorder was hit out of the hand
of the person that was using it. well i still got my video equipment going and did catch
some stuff on that, things that did reach a level of a poltergiest. well the rest of my crew
scattered and never returned. so the rest of that night i was doing this all by myself and had felt something
touch me and push me just once. it didnt do it again but that i would have to say was my worst exp...nothing
even remotely close to that has happened since. most encounters are good ones but there are the occasional bad
one. but them are way far and few in between.

My dad has pics of orbs on camera. He also has pics of legs in a tv (in the background) when nobody was sitting there. Another pic has a slight make of a face in smoke. All of the pics were taken in the same house.

I personally have never seen a ghost, but I once heard people running up and down my stairs when I slept over my dads house (on multiple occassions). It only happened at night when I was tryin to sleep.

I saw a ghost once. It was in a blue light and it tried talking to me, but I couldn't understand it.
