My donor, my boyfriend, hasn't been feeling like giving me blood lately and I'm going BANANAS!!! What do Sang vampires here do when they are short on blood and need it badly but have no way of retrieving it?

I would say seek out another donor. No matter your need you have to repect your boyfriends wishes.

A short temporary fix that takes the edge off, at least for me, is eating a rare steak. It doesn't work long term. I agree with the people on here in that you need to talk to your boyfriend about your need for it. I get the feeling that once you start talking about getting it from someone else, he will probably change his tune. If he doesn't then you need to discuss the possibilty of you getting blood from some one else. This is how vampire/non-vampire relationships can run into trouble.

i agree with pretty much everyone else...find another donor. and make sure u find out why he doesnt want to.....

ask from your bestfriend but never force someone who doesn't want his blood taken...

what you could also do, is if he agrees to let you have some again, take a little less than usual, to show him that you can moderate yourself. i think hes just being safe in saying no more for now, because if you take to much, he could end up in the hospital.

LOL! I usually go for the rare steak, but i didn't know anyone else did that!!! Yes, it works. if you don't want anyone to be suspicious, tell them medium rare, it's just as good (but not as filling.) also, i would seek out a few donors. it's not good to ALWAYS use the same donor... he will soon be very low in blood. maybe this is why he's not feeling well? get a few others (if possible) and alternate who you feed from. this might help, but make sure with your boyfriend first. im sure he will understand.

Oh god! You sound like my wife! Always nagging I don't let her feed enough lol. I wouldn't recommend doing what she does to me, she will grab her small sharp knife & cut my finger and take it lol she's crazy.

I live in a tiny town, andonly have one donor. so I understand. there are times she does not want to bleed for me,lol.I only wish I had an asnwer for you. am in the same plight.

I would say that if your donor doesnt want to donate..... find another donor... talk it over with the significant other and come to a compromise. :)

said, if your not getting the blood you need from them, then tell them that and that you need it. I'm sure they will understand and let you find another donor.

I myself have more than one donor, the plight is common amongst our kind, i find dead meals take the edge from the thirst, but eventually you must give in and discuss adding additional donors.

idd have to agree find another donor. shit i am one myself for many people i dont mind giving some blood lol it feels rather good.

Hmmm... Seems odd to me that your regular blood partner and other half at that would pull back like that. I would try to find out what is going on with him and why the feeling has changed. Having a partner as a donor..don't know how to say this...it would be like my not wanting to hug or cuddle anymore for a true sang. I hope that made some sence..grr!

ok i'm not a donor nor anything else, so i wouldn't know what it's like but couldn't you move on to someone else??? i do realise that it may not be that easy as i'm not into that (although would try most things once :D)

I think its always good to have two doners just for that reason....

I try to keep 2 donors at all times,but in your case try the rare steak if that doesnt work,with your b/f permission seek out another,but make sure that the person is tested,and has a clean bill of health

find anouther donor that will help you out in times of need
