First let me discuss my alternate and parallel universe theory. Parallel universes, is a universe that has a basic change in genetic or a specific difference in form from any other universe. For example works of literature that could be true under my Parallel universe theory, His Dark Materials Series, Narnian Chronicles, Full Metal Alchemist, etc… Alternate Universes, are off shoots of our own and other universes. These fall under chance and luck situations. An example of this, if someone is rolling a 6 sided die, the chance that it will come up 6 is 1/6, and then there will be 6 different alternate universes. Examples of this theory are Back to the Future I, II, and III. Same thing goes for the other parallel universes.
Now, if you sleep walk or talk during your sleep at all, there is a small chance one of your alternate universe’s mind is controlling your body for a short while, and you controlling its mind for a little bit as well.
Now for the vampire theory, a parallel universe, which is populated by a creature similar to the vampire, jumps to our universe (this jump can be through anything like the doors of His Dark Materials Series, Narnian Chronicles, Full Metal Alchemist, etc…) This creature lands just before the Mesopotamia, region forms, there he steals into the night, taking blood from individuals, after he mates with some of the humans they have children, the children adapt, and they kill him. When the barbarians come and destroy Mesopotamia, they then flee into hiding, waiting for other civilizations to arrive.
Egyptian, Indian, Grecian, and other civilizations, form their own myths about the vampire, them taking on their own forms through evolution. Evolution of a vampire: Vampire children come in two ways, either by mating creating a new generation of vampires, or the biting, draining of blood, and then giving a person the vampire blood. The mating creates a more powerful race of vampires, while the biting, draining, and giving blood, and creates a vampire slightly weaker than original vampire. This evolution spawns new and better vampires each generation.
Have you read either His dark materials, (particularly The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass) The Narnian Chronicles, or seen/ read Full Metal Alchemist?
No, I have not, but I do love to read, so I just might go and pick it up thanks . I try to read on many different subjects as I do like to be educated on new and different things.
we are soon to be the dominate speacies so i say if ur not a creature of the night you get converted
very intersting theory couldnt they also come over threw wormholes or time loops?
They could also do that. That would be an interesting idea...
I think it has a big impact on what you consider to be a vampire, what is your definition of vampire, this will direct the apth ofg the discussion and what will be exchange in opinions and ideas.
My theory = A writer picked up a writing utensil, and started writing a fantasy based off a case of rabies or Vlad Tepes, thus creating vampires in literature.
Besides the fact that my penmanship is horrible, I can't even read my own handwriting, and the fact that this is my own theory, it has been taken out of books, and other such manuscripts, but that's no reason to laugh.
Plus there are story of vampires dating back to Mesopotamia, and lots of other stories. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampires
I apologies for my previous post I in no way was laughing I had like some sort of shaking in my hands and had trouble seing the screen so I did not notice my dislexia I in no way laugh I was simply trying to make a statement that the origine depends on the beleif you had, on your place of residence and location, along with the definition of what you call a vampire.
intresting, i wuld think its a blood disease sort of thing, a gene mutation or something like that
I enjoy the mangas but I have to say any theory based on them is highly subject to question. Although it is rather interesting.
The notion that vampires came to us from another universe simply means they are an advanced race of aliens not any form of supernatural beings.
Also the Sumarian era myths deal with creatures of which many have similarities with traveling spicies from other worlds. As I have stated many times before what we consider supernatural or other-worldly, generally is a misinterpretation of scientific fact thus lending themselves to myths.
Well seriously what to say there is not a kind of area 51 type theory .. i mean light sensitve inmortal and such.. maybe cross bred from way back create vampire.. the do have human traits then to if you believe in aliens abilitys to travel unnoticed.. well jus a thought..
I happen to know exactly what Vampires are and where they came from but you won't believe it. It sounds like something some junkie would come up with.
In the Kaballah there is the Tree. Each part of the tree is a Seperoth. There is a place between Chochmah and Binah, near the top of the tree. This is called Da'ath, wherein are the Qlipohth. They are shells without spirit, the Vampires. Here is also found the Lillith who appears as an owl as she moves across the night sky.
I find this theory to be very interesting, as many others of course, but at the same time, I think that it is verrry fictional.
In any case, I believe it would rrreallly be usefull to get hands on that blood.
"Vampires" came from the fears of our ancesters. They didn't know about death, decay or blood illnesses.Fear is where "vampires" ghosts, demons etc came from...not another demension or astral plain.
ShaolinWicca I would really like to hear your theory may it be real or not... I always like to hear new ideas, and no idea or anything that is fully developed can be called dumb.
For all of you that enjoyed reading my theory, thank you very much. I'll be coming out with the genetic side of things pretty soon.
An interesting theory and post. this theory dwells with many holes in it. But it puts the mind to wander. Yet as stated purely out of fiction. The vampire jumps through a portal( in time or Plane) is this still open for more to come through? I like the breeding part and part of ritual kills the dad. Huh Bloodrayne.
Like i said love the post do not get me wrong just seems like bits of movies i have encountered. Like the hole in time theory, so good read.
Well it's just a theory, if I wanted to post the entire thing I would probably get off the site.
well that makes alot of sense so that would explain alot of the dreams we have in places we have never seen and the dream is soo real you can feel the air and water but in another time
intresting however untrue we are borne just like you , the first vampires are cain and lilith no outer space no other way forget what you read or see in a movie
I don't find this theory plausible its just too fictional for me but thats just my opinion.
There are so many theories on how vampyre came to be and where they originated, I personally enjoy them all and love to hear new ones as well as disclose those I have come across over the years. Let’s look at a couple of interesting theories based on religion. Many have stated that Kane was the first vampyre created through a curse from God. It is stated in religious records that Kane killed his brother out of jealousy due to he was more favored for his deeds to God. It is stated Kane was cursed to wonder the Earth without death in loneliness for his crimes. Thus Kane became the first immortal and many believe vampyre was an added kick to the curse. It’s an interesting theory to say the least.
A second theory I have heard is that vampyre are actually the creation of an alien species. This species were much more evolved in genetics than we are, but are DNA was a compatible match or so they thought. Their species was dying due to years of war, and in an attempt to create a new species based upon their own the attempted to bond their DNA with ours. In actuality the experiments failed and a new race was created….the vampyre, unable to maintain its own living energy and needing to feed on others to survive, much like a parasite. I love that one it’s a colorful tale.
Let’s not leave out the simple ideal of evolution, perhaps vampyre are a fluke in the evolutionary code that has slowly become more dominant, as we are seeing it more and more often, or is it that it is more practiced and seen these days.
Honestly there are no answers to this as the history has been lost somewhere along the way. All there is now is theory of how vampyre came to be, but even at that it is a most interesting topic indeed.
The Theory is very interesting and truly you have thought long on it.As I have always loved vampires,I have wondered where do they come from. When you think the theory is right, from the point of view of the fisic the alternative world are true and when creatures of such power as vampires truly had a way to visit the other worlds and probably stucked in our planet and universe.Nice thinking, good job with the theory.
I don't think that they could have come from another reality or universe . I know there are several different ways that the myths in history give alot of ways as to the creation of vampires
due to our ancestor way of thing the orginated the idea that vampires exsist becouse they dd not understand death all to well or were of afraid of the disease we have and understand today
Extremely interesting indeed Stabb. Thanks for posting that article. I found it informative.
The Mayan culture was into many blood rituals, human sacrifice and the obsession of time. The majority of the human sacrifices were blood-letting, in which a victim would have part of their body pierced to give blood to the gods. Was this because an extraterrestial being or angels from heaven came down to earth and needed the blood to survive and thus was the origin of the vampires. The calendar's and calculation of time is very precise. Their calendar runs in a 26,000 year cycle. God casts angels out for sharing secrets of heaven.
That is a very interesting way to look at it, Doru... And the Mayans weren't the only ones that had blood rituals to please their Gods. Now that is something to ponder on...
Doru,
Would you be kind enough to explain where you obtained the information detailing a 26,000 year cycle for the Maya calender please?
Thank you.
While I do believe in the theory of parallel universes, I do not believe there is an easy way to move from one to another. The more different one of those universes is from ours the more difficult it would be to move from one to the other. I do believe that what may be fiction in our universe could be fact in another. There are things in our universe that were fiction at one time and are now fact in ours. As far as the Cain theory the Bible doesn't say that Cain can't die but that he would not be killed by another person and was marked in a way that no one would kill him. He was also cursed as Stabb pointed out to not be able raise any crops from the earth.
Another Bible related concept which I've just been made aware of, is the Sons of Adam.
Several times in the Bible, it says that Adam had two sons, yet three names are given- Cain, Abel and Seth.
Not much is known about Seth, but one idea is accepted, which is that both Cain and Abel came from Eve, after she partook of the forbidden fruit.
In some ways, the idea of eating the fruit of the tree, can be seen as taking part in the first act of sexual union.
It has been suggested by very interpretive translations of the Hebrew, that after Eve had sex the first time with the Serpent (the fallen Angel Lucifer), she then went on to have sex with Adam.
God said to them that this would cost them their life and cast them out of Eden. This could well be a figurative means of saying that Adam and Eve and their descendants will now become mortal, because they are able to procreate.
Back on point, suggestions are made that Cain could be the child of the Serpent and Abel, the child of Adam. Seth comes later and perhaps is Adams actual second child.
Again, this lends weight to the idea that Nephelim descended beings are the first recorded vampire concept.
It is true that the bible says that Cain was cursed and had a mark put on his head so that no man could kill him. It also implies that at that time there was a society already in place. Which means that Adam and Eve at that time had many more children, including daughters. So it wouldnt suprise me if the Seth theory is solid.
I dont think that mark made him immortal. Noahs ark and the rain that was to kill every being on the earth other than those on the ark (and the salt water fish).
My favorite theory on the creation of vampires is in the movie "john carpenters: Vampires". In this movie it says the first vampire was created due to the incompletion of a reverse exorcism performed by the catholic church. It wasnt fully completed so the vampire could only survive during the night and be hidden during the daylight. It makes sense. The pope does have the power to hide a lot of things. Could vampirism be one of them?
Wolvie, I agree with your statement that some are difficult to travel to, and others are easier, the further away the Parallel universe is the hard it is to travel to it. Similarly, the further away an alternate reality is the harder it is to travel to it, through dream-like states or through mediation.
Also, for those who believe in the "Biblical Vampire" Theory. I may remind you, that if the Bible says "demon" or "monster" it could mean anything from a werewolf to a gremlin.
I am throughly confused by you all. but i understand the basis of the bibilical vampyre.
Vampires are fictional. they may have came about when vampire bats bit people. it is rare but it can happen.
Logic tells me vampires are only fictional, but its really fun to think they truly exist. And who knows, there are many things in this world that defy logic.

The Mayan calendar tracks more than 5,000 years, then resets at zero. This is a correction, not 26,000 years. Nonetheless, it reset on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 p.m. and the sun will be aligned with the center of the milky way for the first time in about 26,000 years. This means energy from the milky way will be disrupted on that date. And some predict the apocalypse.
whoa...that would be cool. Energies will be jolted through the whole solar sysytem!! Im excited
For everyone who doesn't believe in Vampires exist, can you prove your claim. I am kind of tired of people just coming into sites, and saying Vampire don't exist, because what is a Vampire, some blood sucking demon who steals children in the night as ancient religions believed or is it a cursed son or daughter of god.
The plain fact is nobody knows if Vampires are real or not.
Many believe the apocalypse to be the end of the world, but I believe that it is a time of awakening. The Mayan Culture made calendars that are more accurate than are current calendars and their culture existed between 300 - 900 AD. Where did they obtain such accurate information? I believe from the angels of heaven. In the winter solstice of 2012 I believe we will be visited by the GODS that the Mayan Culture worshiped and why they required human blood as a sacrifice. It is my belief that these angles are vampires, but not in the Hollywood description and we will not like their lust...
THE REVELATION OF ST JOHN THE DIVINE
8:13 "And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!"
Maybe the mayans made a calander so accurate because they didnt have politics corrupting their way of life. Im really intersted in hearing more of the mayan culture in realtion to vampires
The Maya did not predict an apocalypse. The calculate a calendar which says that one age ends and another begins, that's all. I have read that some long count calendars also refer to a time beyond 2012.
There is no evidence to support a Maya apocalypse theory.
of course its not. Time is all relative. It technically doesnt exist. Time, clocks, calendars, were all made so humans could make life easier.
rosho,
I don't believe I mentioned the demon references in the Bible, but the clearly identified Sons of God and their offspring.
You also must understand that many parts of the bible are just symbolism and dont mean what they really say. Which may or may not prove the existance of earthbound demons (called vampires).
Of course, which is why there are ideas floating around regarding Angels and Demons being Aliens.
There is also an allegorical take on the whole of the Torah and related books, which opens up many avenues for interpretation.
Whatever they're called... They're supposed to be evil right? Are Vampires necessarily evil?
I still think the thory of vlad the III being the first vampire is the one that sticks the most in peoples minds .
Just because a lot of people believe something doesn't make it so. A lot of people think that Henry Ford invented the car, but he didn't. Mercedes Benz was building cars close to 20 years be for Henry Ford. Henry Ford invented the assembly line and mass produced cars that the general public could afford. Superstition and ignorance created the mythical vampire which lead to the fictional vampire.
ok so here we go with fact or fiction..
isnt the definition of vampire a monster like human killer that just goes off and kills and destores there prey ? then drinks the blood..
There are many theories on the origin of vampires. However I think most of them are born from fear of the unknown. For example misunderstood physiologic events related to postmortem decay or pathologic human behavior.
You people are very annoying... Say you believe in front of anything that isn't set in stone. I wrote a theory, it can disproved, but I believe it's the one no matter what anybody else says, but if you say Vampires are fictional, then so is all religion.
