Now the Question is with the big cash reward and there was one caught , what could be the ramufactions of this ? Could we find a creature who is smart or would we destroy a a creature who has spent all this time hiding?

i believe we would end up distorying this creature if in fact he exsist, but it is a known fact that mammals are a pack creature and bigfoot is always alone?

If Bigfoot was caught he would be killed and put on display somewhere so they would be able to recoup the 1 million dollars they had to pay out as the reward

If the animal was caught they would try to keep it alive cause it would be worth more money that way. I think they would end up fucking it up and it wouldn't survive but they would try to keep it alive. People don't see that we cause these animals to die out by what we do to this planet. I don't think there are animals alive that haven't been affected by human yet in some way.

why do we HUMANS always want to go looking for things that do not bother us that may exist yet live quietly in their own way, not bother anyone.?? I mean once someone actually had proof or poved they are real and exist then the Government will step in and want to examine , test poke and prod them in return by destroying them.

I say if they are real and exist leave them alone unless we become threatened by them... just another way to earn money by harming another ..

If Bigfoot was caught the government would hide the truth from the public. They would destroy the crediblity of the person and/or persons with the discovery.

Monetary rewards have been offered in the past, and yet still no solid proof of Bigfoot has emerged. I highly doubt this larger sum will yield any new evidence.

i honestly hope that no definitive proof is ever found because if it was proven all that would happen is people would freak out and it would be hunted down and killed. no scientific knowledge would be gained and another rare species would be wiped out due to the ignorance and fear of man

We would wind up doing both. What would we accomplish by finding it ? theres more harm than good in this hunt or wild goose chase. Some things in life are ment to be mysterious and left alone. I believe this is one of those cases.

I say that if big foot did exist then he would be dead by now unless he is a creature that has learned how to live longer than anyone. If he did die then how can people say that they saw it? Could he be able to reproduce? If so how?

The more I think about it the more questions I have.

I read a few that said if he does exist then leave him alone which I agree with I mean why go bothering him he hasn't done anything to us it's like poking a stick in a ant bed just to pick on them

Personally, I doubt anything short of capturing or killing something resembling 'bigfoot' is going to provide anyone with positive proof that such a being exists. So, I think it'll continue to remain a mystery.

i think we have no more right to capture a creature and test it/destroy it, as we do for other creature that we have discovered, but that certainly doesn't seem to stop us, unfortunately. to me, that is wrong..

I think that the only thing that will come from this reward is more people finding better ways to come up with fraudulent evidence.

I think it would be a sad thing because if he does exist he obviously doesn't want any interactions with us. The government would either keep it a secret or run a gazillion tests on it and eventually kill it.

If he does exists, I hope he is never found. Being killed or shoved and poked doesn't sound like a great life for it!

The real question is if it really exists. The picture is a bit to blurry so it could simply be someone in a costume.

However, if it is real and does get caught I doubt it would be destroyed.

If there were multiple of them and one was found, what if they just studied then released it? That might be beneficial to the records of animals and possibly a link to humans as well.

if they were caught and studied it could be dangerous you would get some yahoo who would pay poachers to cathc them for pets or food

This will take some of the brunt of the Big Foot trade off the gravey train.. of the Road Side Attraction.. how you ask? well now that people are able to turn in their claim.. for verification, those that visit the road side attraction will be asking the Big Question.. "Why Haven't you gone for the money."

People did the same thing for the trap a ghost fund, put out by phycics professors that found a large number of students falling for sham mediums.. and even "house cleansing" so the students developed a question to those that claimed to "vacuum ghost' turn it into a lab for inspection.. no body collected but many arranged to turn something in.. the fact that they had no idea how to test for ghost .. never was challenged.. skeptics are likely to bluff as well.

I was just picturing a large Big Foot Posse trampling the forest with all their Bushnell binoculars, and cameras. I know a person near me that will make a pretty penny doing party tours of likely big Foot habitat..

not all mammals are pack creatures. tigers are usualy alone. foxes usualy hunt alone, as do many bears.

No amount of money is worth decimating an entire species. If certain humans find out such a creature exists they will hunt it to extinction or force what's left of the species to exist in zoos or worse. If it is real it should be left alone.

If there was indeed a bigfoot, the catching and studying of him/her would frighten and and destroy emotionally. It would just be sad.

theres always been talk on if they exist or not. but new species are discovered everyday so who knows. its possible maybe that they do yet possible it was a hoax that spread over time. if they do exist and one was caught it would probably be distroyed by those seeking to find out every about them. so if they are real hopefully they will remain at this time just a myth...

Has anyone thought that we might have found the creature and people just see large shadows and cry big foot? it could be a large ape but that has lived longer than most so they get bigger. It is just a thought.

If one of the Big Foots are captured, my belief is that we must hope there is more than one, and more than one female and male, it probably would have to be killed and not captured, it would not allow capture, hence the hope that there are more of each sex left to continue the group, otherwise we would be exterminating another endangered species

I sometimes believe that Bigfoot was created just to give people hope that something "Else" exists.
If in fact, having an open mind, bigfoot really does exist it should be left alone. Just becuase it's different doesn't mean it needs to be screwed with. I guess that would just substantiate a stereotypical world.

As for the ramifications if someone does produce the evidence and undeniable proof of Big foot, for the world possibly a sense of wonder and "wow hey do exist what do you know!"

For the creature I think a slow death... life living as some object in a zoo to be studied and experimented on. Freedom would end for the creature. No matter how hard conservationists try, it would be hunted until extinction.

when i lived on harstien island in washington state i found a bigfoot finger and nail preserved from the sea water on the beach wish i still had that puppy!!!

it's a nice thought to believe that Bigfoot exists..but all evidence that I have read about has not been conclusive.
All we can do is speculate that Bigfoot exists and assume that if anyone were to actually capture him, the good ol' government would cover it up.

What is the price for the Loch Ness Monster or a Thunderbird? Bigfoot may well exist but proof will prove elusive.

If they did manage to catch one, the best thing would be to simply tag him. One bigfoot would lead to others. Even if a person was to contemplate exploiting a bigfoot, the opportunity to find more would be an ideal situation. I rather doubt a bigfoot would reproduce by budding so tagging him would be the best way to find out more.

I do not think Bigfoot is real ad if he was thinking he would be human who knows what is realy going on in the world

I think he would be placed in a cell somewhere hidden away by the government and have tests conducted...

I agree with almost everyone on here. I believe if he (or she) were caught bigfoot would probably be put on display, and really it isn't fair. It's bad enough that we do it to animals in zoos. Just my opinion, though.

Though, upon giving the proof after months of research, and investigations...The million dollar reward should be enough to pay off the thousands of dollars already put into the time as well as patience involved in the spotting/capture of said creature.

I am not sure I buy the fact that bigfoot exsists 100% , but I do know this , there ARE species still on this plant that have yet to be discoverd. Most being deep in the ocean. While there are places that have not yet seen a footprint from man yet , I cannot imagin that IF bigfoot were real , and with the new technologies we have nowadays why this cannot be solved.......it probebly won't , because bigfoot does not exsist in the first place.

Then IF he did , one of two senerios would play out:

The government would simply cover it up.

or

They would of course cage the creature , study it . Then it would end up dying , they'll cut it up and studiy it some more , then they will stuff it and put it on display , for a price.

I think its a hoax, haven't they said they've lied in a interview already about something, and the fact that it was Bigfoot hunters that should have come across the body, all doesn't boost my faith!

Well the thing is if it dose exist think about all the greedy people that want everything. Soon people would be hunting them down for money and skins you know like bear skin rugs mink coats that kind of stuff. They would not survive much longer.

Not to mention if they put it on the endangered speices list how much more it would be hunted. The harder it is to get something the more the temtaion.

It raises the question to me, where have the bodies of dead big foot gone, I mean there is one found.. there should be more, and big foot poop, I would have been more interested in DNA from Big Foot Poop..

If I take and craft with Leather scrapes, and saw dust, stuffing.. I could craft a pretty good creature, add to that the freezer.. it would pass as a road side attraction, just like punks in a jar.. the novelty is fun, but these guys are going for the spot light. One core sample is all that is needed to blow their hoax.

Just think of all the money they stand to make, even if it is a hoax.. promo alone makes a good motive.

I agree with Okami, if they are really, they won't be for very long. Also they must be quite smart to have lasted this long without being found!

here in California, we have the guy that first created Big Foot, and even after he admited it, he still clings to his road side attraction tales.. anything is possible?? But is it plausible.. is it actual? Why then can people not get over the fact that it is all based on a camp fire tale.. one where the guy dressed in a suit scares the campers.. invest in actual animals that are going to be extinct, maybe we could find some of those? Would you pay to go on an over priced camping/ sighting trip, one that would normally cost like 200 plus gas? yet pay like 400 plus expenses? if infact we did find that this Creature did exist the government would order it shot down there for destroying what maybe a scared gentle creature that could infact be quite capable of many things like apes and ASL. the government wouldn't treat it as a potential threat and by killing it, it would solve the constant need to worry if it is capable of killing people.

I believe that all creatures have the right to live without having to be hunted just to prove they exist. One day all of the secrets that nature holds will come to the fore.

Well the last claim was a debacle, just a suit imagine that and with all the big hoo ha over the DNA. The instigator turned out to be an officer of the law, for shame. This offer just brings out more greedy, fake claims....
