Have you ever seen a dragon out of the corner of your eye? seen a shadow in the clouds shaped of a dragon, or seen cloud or object obviously shaped like a dragon but when you show someone, they dont see it? have you ever clamed to have a dragon sighting? well, do you belive that a part of you is dragon, a human in which a dragon's spirit has taken refuge? or do you belive you have a dragon guardian? a dragon or dragon spirit who watches over you. telling you right from wrong and bad and good, with out really telling you.

So here is my point, if you belive in a dragon spirit and/or guardian watching over you, and may have had a dragon sighting, do you think that sighting is your dragon guardian and/or spirit?

I personally belive i have a dragon spirit who watches over me, i belive i know her name too. yet i have not had a dragon sighting. so you tell us, what do you belive?

I believe something similar to what you said. I believe they're on a spiritual plane. They are all around us, they just choose not to be seen or heard. Same goes for other mystical creatures. Our world is so big. No one may ever know what it hides.

I am curious about otherkin, however whenever I have asked the question ' why would a dragon spirit chose a human body, what purpose would there be ' ? nobody seems able to tell me.

Granted when this kind of thread turns up in the forum there is usually alot of non serious replies which only get people upset and get the thread closed.

I mentioned the Foo Dogs. along with Gargoyles, I find the Chinese lore relating to the protection Foo Dogs provide. Simular to dragons.

I was born on one of the years of the Dragon in Chinese Zodiac. I've always have been fascinated by what people so called the mythical creature, the Dragon. I have always been lurred in by any kind of books that had a Dragon in it. So yes, I do believe that the Dragon is still alive, and all around us but they choose whoever is worthy or not to see them. I do believe that I do have a Dragon Spirit but no I haven't had any sightings of them only except for in my dreams.
Sometimes some my friends tell me that I have the rage or anger like a Dragon, because when I get really mad my eyes will turn the bright red. There have been a few times that somebody has seen that come out of me.

alot of cultures believe in spirit guides, and as for the dragon this is new on me yet dabbler already pointed out my post, yet alot have to with the kinship of the spirit or sightings. so I hope to see more indepth posts on this.

I had a dragon hang around me for a while a year or two back. I would always catch it in the corner of my eye. The first time I saw it it was kind of small, then with each following sighting it seemed to have grown more. Then for one reason for another the sightings stopped, and I haven't seen him since.
I don't know why the dragon hung around for that period of time, but I never particularly felt like he was a guardian. Perhaps the little guy was just curious?

Hmm, I've never heard of this before, and I'm definately skeptical. I enjoy the fantasy literature that contains dragon lore, but I've never felt any kinship to such creatures even though I was born in the year of the Dragon as well.

I have not seen a Dragon or even glimps one but I have seen clouds that have looked like a dragon. I do believe that a dragon could be a guadian. Isnt that the story you are tied to a dragon if you die then the dragon dies also.

I'm not certian on how common that particular lore is, I know that it is the lore used in the book Eragon.

I would very much love to believe dragons exist. It would make my world. But I'm pretty sure they don't, so I have to settle for talking to my toys. They're pretty good listeners too.

In the Lore of Anne McCaffrey's Pern, the Dragons all suicide after their Rider dies, and often the Riders will if their dragon dies.

My Dragon Spirit's name is Greylore, he shows himself to me when he wishes for me to acknowledge his presence to let me know he is there. Usually in dreams, or as you have stated "cloud watching."

Dabbler, not sure if you're reply was meant for me or not, but just so there's no confusion, I personally have never seen any dragons outside of my imagination, movies, pictures and the occasional odd shape in the clouds.

You can take it how ever you want . You can believe or not , it doesn't matter to Me . I know I have Guardians for My domain . I am almost 100 % sure we are not followed around . They are , what you may say , homebodies , lol . At My home we are protected .

After My divorce many years ago when My world was chaos . I looked back into the world of the occult , which I had put behind Me for a while . Through mere coincidence between Me and a soon to be girlfriend we both seperately did spells for protection . Soon after there was a sense of comfort and security that had not been in My domain ever . That was over 12 yrs ago .

Since then I have had no drama physically at My house . No trespassers , thieves , there has been no trouble of any kind . There have been some break ins in the area , fires , vandalism and things like that , but not here . My only "trouble " ever in the past 12 yrs at either of My homes (the homes are less than a minute apart) . Is that the prior house had been hit indirectly by lightening 2 times causing some electrical device troubles . Yes , I know that in itself is weird . My prior house was like a vortex of the unusual .

My Gargoyles fit right into My haunted house . Btw , My prior ghosts , well at least some of them followed Me here as well . They (Gargoyles and ghosts)have been noticed by others whom had no direct involvement with each other . I have shown My appreciation when I figured out I had My Guardians , many times and when I moved , with much respect , asked for them to move with Me . As well I invited the ghosts to come too .

My new house is as the other was , comfortable and safe . When My kids move out I hope and will ask for My Gargoyles to protect them still . I am not sure why they chose to protect this family as they have ? I am by no means an expert or super Witch . Perhaps they deemed Me worthy of protection and their loyalty ? Who knows ? I am no saint , but am an honest , strong , willful , caring , father who needed some help keeping his family safe . Perhaps ion a messed up world sometimes you get what you actually need ?

In my opinion, "otherkin" as some prefer to call the archtype, does not exist. It is simply a way for the individual to come to terms with their mental personality mannerisms. Why not stereotype yourself into something that no longer exists in order to explain your persona more fluidly, eh?

Dragon, Unicorn as well as several other mythological guardians do exist though. But they do not seek refuge within anyone. They are their own entities and protectors of others, but would not seek refuge from anything since they are protectors. This would be a contradiction to what their station is.

Personally i can't say that dragons exist considering that most people have never seen them before, and as for unicorns, i figured those were just a mixed breed of a wild bull and horse, something to that extent. Not saying that they don't exist but one is pretty bold is making such claims when i have yet to see any evidence of them other than bones....

I personally don't believe in dragons or their spirits. I won't try to persuade anyone of my belief if they don't try to convince me of theirs.

Yeah i just love all that "society must be able to handle it" scenerios. Please, we handle things day in and day out and if you think about it, humans apparently were around the same time these "dragons" were, which btw means "giant snake". That's nothing hard to accept if you ask me. So i highly doubt it has anything to do with humanity at all.

Actually the taperies and stories tell all or should we just simply ignore those too? They tell of man slaying dragons, which btw they "claim" to have found dragon bones which do have a rather large similarity TO dinosaurs so i wouldn't exactly count that out. There are MANY unnamed types of dinos that have and are being discovered.

Most mystic types would leave a response such as you have from what i see, but yet, there is a lot of unproven information just thrown all over the net as a possibility, not exactly something to be taken as a fact.

There is always 2 sides to every find, every story. It's just a matter of the person taking in the information whether or not they genuinely WANT to believe it that way or actually try to seek what IS real in the world and was real in the past.

I've seen what I think is Dragons in clouds, in meditation and in dreams. I have also seen dragons as shapes in like trees and tiles and glass, similar to when you see faces, which I also see too

i believe that there are dragons all around us at all times and that they are trying to help us but there are also demons in some of the dragons

I will answer that as best I may given the level of interest. Such entiries that have been able to cross over and use humans as vessels in this mundane realm do not seem to speak English(not to my knowlege anyway).
There is some credible evidence that they try to communicate in far older dialects but I have never witnessed this. They try to communicate through images and what I can only describe as emotional telepathy. Through reasoning, ritual, meditation and concentration it is possible to gain an understanding with the entity thus taming the dragon.
Unfortunately I was unable to accomplish this understanding and this led to seroius health implications, convulsions and dis-ease. My skin literally peeled off bleeding profusely.
Coventional medicine did not work and believe me I tried everything. If you not believe me so I will send you pictures of my skin before and after.

I sort urgent help and a shaman healer was able to help me come to an understanding within.This healer is on VR but prefers to remain private, suffice to say I am forever in her debt-Bows.

Now the conventional scientists amongst you will try and rationalise this as some sort of mental breakdown combined with a "known" disorder.They are wrong and that is why my Doctors were unable to help me.

P.s. My fathers physicist and my sisters a PHD Microbiologist and they are also gob smacked!

~Fallingstar~, it seems to appear through your post that you have developed some sort of "they dislike us" for the blaming of the supposed medical illnesses that you aquired when you tried the communication.

When there is a lack of evidence to support your "dragons exist" implications. I mean, don't get me wrong since I have seen dragons first hand, but to claim that they caused your health issues is proposterous. You seem to be implicating that dragons are beastial when some of them are guardians, while others are not. They are not ALL bad. You cannot base your conclusions off of the entire race just because one dragon supposedly caused you health problems.

You state it is proposterous to conclude communication with other higher forms or entities can lead to health problems. Apart from my own testimony there is a great deal of evidence to the contrary.

I have personally never seen a dragon spirit, nor met anyone who has, but I do believe there are many planes of existence around us. I have often heard there is a plane where dragons reside and that in times of need, they have the knowledge to cross over and guide us. I think that when you see them there is a reason behind it, and maybe we are not meant to understand at this time. Compared to guardians we are very young in body and spirit. I personally believe if you see them you were meant to and if you don’t, you’re not meant to. There is a reason for their guidance and when and how they choose us to perceive them.

These dragon spirits that chose to live among us in obscurity have nothing better to do then be guardians to the select few. This is hard to grasp. From what little dragon lore I have read dragons weren't known for their goodwill. If the truly existed I think they would be more interested in humans as a snack.

Actually about all stories that i've heard about dragons have been pretty good ones. They are either magical, they are guardians or protectors, sometimes they are teachers, and in some of the stories i have read, they would seek human companionship when they are in human form but never liked being discovered for their true appearances.

This has not happened in many millenia (according to Legend). If we are lucky it is a dragon, if not it is the Jet streams wind of 300 kmph descending to ground level.

Never seen a dragon (spirit form) but a wear a dragon and I feel stronger and steadier. So mental or spiritual it helps me. So here is to Dragon power.

I have seen that as well, though mine is not a dragon or anything such as that, though mine is more like a demon, he has black with red wings and really blue eyes. i just cant explain it, i see him everywhere, in my dreams, in my visions, and just out of the corner of my eyes and when i look he is gone. not really sure what it is though. :)

I'm also a practitioner of dragon magick, and I feel that there are dragon spirits in one form or another. The image by itself of a dragon holds a lot of power as well and makes me feel better just by keeping it around me at all times.

As I had posted a few months back, in a different thread of the same nature... Pertaining to the orient and the dragon, it could be possible that their facial characteristics may be genetically inherited from a draconic bloodline. Hence a pretty good reason why they admire the dragon so much.

I havd had sightings in my town. I also believe that I have a dragon watching over me guiding me in everyway possible. Its a male and his name is Silver (I know original but that's his name) my fiancee has seen it as well. He watches over me and those I love along with his wife and children..Saphy, Pinki, ect. I love and care about them just as they do me.
I believe that there are dragons out there in the world like Silver and his family. But the building of this centuries and the polution keep they away.

Dragons vary in form but there are people who believes that a dragon can be a guardian. However, that is most likely someone's overactive imagination because a human can't tame a mythical creature like a dragon. Regardless, I believe that dragons exist in the world, but they hide themselves from mankind lest they wish to become extinct or endangered.

i believe i may have a dragon in me or at least have a few that watch over me. i do believe people can have that as their spirit guides or part of them. anything is possible

i do believe there are forms of energy, both protecting us and harming us. i would like to think that what humans see on their planes of vision are embodiments of that energy that resonates with that persons soul.

I have 3 spirit guides, 1 of the is a dragon. The thing about dragons, they are not physical creatures, they exist solely on a spiritual plane. I'm an adept in astral travel. My other 2 guides are a snake & a falcon.

I have often seen dragon shapes in clouds, in smears stains smudges, I dream about them, day dream about them, doodle them constantly...

...do I believe they exist? NO. I have read lots of stuff about dragon guardians and other kin, but there is nothing that can convince me that they are real.

I once attended a very interesting lecture about the origin of dragons in cultures from around the world, the dragon is an integral part of the human mind, something dark and brooding a reptilian force that we admire for its ability to be both a fierce killer and a wise teacher, but they are mythic creatures.
