Okay so I've posted this question on a so-called "expert" psychic message board yet no one has an answer. First off I apologize to the admins if this is in the wrong section then feel free to move it or whatever. I should probably explain that I'm posting it on this board in hopes that someone might have an answer.

So to start it off, there will be times when I'm around people and I'm just sitting there thinking to myself and I'll say something in my head and the person I'm near will be like, "what did you say?" and I'm like "I didn't say anything. Why what did you think I said?" and whatever they tell me will be close to what I was thinking. This has already happened twice with one of my coworkers and several times with strangers. I just really want to know is it some sort of psychic ability?

It sounds like a form of telepathy. There's a specific term for it, though I couldn't find it with a quick google search. It's called 'thought projection' or something like that.

I can't really confirm that this is what's really happening, if it really is happening, but by your description, that's what's you're experiencing.

That's interesting.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to start keeping a record of these incidents.

The few experiences I have had with what you refer to, I have put down to coincidence.

Well psych is the vast science and its very vast veined into spiritual science and materialistic science too.

yes this is possible whenever person have the strong mind force. this ability comes by at least 3 months practice of central focal point exercises for at least an hour daily.

yes its the pulses sent through your forehead or crown peak any of this and grasped by others. if it is sent by bindu (top of the crown) its a telepathy use of conscious. and if it is via forehead, this is stronger than the earlier coz natural use of mind force.

if whatever you says is true, your chakras are strong. if its all true you have natural ability and you can grow as very high psychic with te help of mentor or guide if guided to correct exercises. still it is long way and need sincere effort to daily exercises.

if your chakras are so strong, you have more danger and need divine light side to balance your self from darkness and fall of spiritual sciences negatively.

The reason I ask is because there are a few stock answers to this question, that any basic study of psychic phenomena could answer.

The focus on that site appears to be focused on getting subscriptions, that suggest that one could get better responses to ones inquiry. Rather spoon feed at that. I see a lot of pulling rank. as well.

Not uncommon in the psychic trade/studies.

There are mundane studies that present a compelling case for what you describe as well. Perhaps not as spectacular as psychic phenomena, but from a psysiology perspective it is interesting.

I do feel that people do this.It happens to me constantly. What I am thinking at this point,is that when the mind is in a relaxed state,(Around 10 to 13 hrz)and has enetered this frequency range,,I believe we are able to access whats tenativly called the Torsion field. If the peep happens to have a thought while in that state, the pattern of that thought is carried into a T wave and on to another.
As for strengthing this,I would say you would need to recognise the way you feel when it seems to happen, and figure out a way that you can get yourself into said state on a more consistant basis.
The human brain is an incredible biological computer.Water, which has incredible memory, and other conductive chemicals all play a role and occasionally we find ourselves sending out information in a telepathic manner.
However, its important to know that I dont feel this is a paranormal thing or "gift" but more ,just sometime we all can do.

~You are correct Dabbler. And as far as Im concerned, while I feel the results of these studies really are going to show once and for all this type of phenomenon is most likely attributed to "mundane" ,physiological processes, coupled with ele magnetics etc..,and while it might shatter old beliefs in the "paranormal" aspect,it will in no way diminish the fantasical qualities of it.Quite the opposite in fact.
So prepare yourselves, for some serious mind adjustment, because thats the way it is looking .~

Only divine meditation can stop this to sent to others uncontrolled.

Or the central focal point exercises. Central focal point exercises makes the conscious very strong and thus conscious controls then intellact as well as mind both and no such natural uncontrolled pulsing to other peepal.

meditation gives you coolness and strength to see forward which lead to stop uncontrolled expansion ofyour thoughts pulsed to others.

Well you must know the chakra situation whati explained to you in first post.

bindu is the eighth chakra which is not chakra but its like antenna to our brain and antenna to alignment of the chakras. its situated in center top of the skull above the crown the centerpoint of the head. the akashic records are pulsed through this chakra mostly into our brain.

while pulsing through forehead is natural use of ajna chakra (third eye chakra or pioneal chakra).

both are important to communication but pioneal chakra is most important coz it send conscious force of the will with the communicating pulsing.

Re: "Well psych is the vast science"

Psychology is a science. Psychic ability at this point, is more of a superstition. There are some very compelling anecdotal claims but little in the way of confirmable objective evidence.

I agree with Sinora on this one. The author of the opening post should start keeping very close records. And not just when there is an incident that seems highly coincidental, but of every such conversation and circumstance, whether a coincidental thought/saying occurs or not.

It's not infrequent that we buy a new car or some new, relatively distinct clothing and the next thing we know, we seem to be seeing the same model car we bought or similar clothing styles everywhere we look. In reality, we've simply become more alert and aware to things that affect us directly. So while it may look as though our purchase of a particular car has spawned a buying spree for that model, there has been no dramatic change in sales or tastes. We're simply more focused on the things that directly affect our lives.

I think to times when a new relationship has started and it seems like you and that other special person are continually thinking the same thing at the same time, speaking in stereo and almost reading each others thoughts.

Without having any real analytical-quality data, I'm tempted to think it may be something similar.

"Only divine meditation can stop this to sent to others uncontrolled.'

I have to disagree with that statement DLY.There are some who do not need meditation to control this, and are at a point where it can be induced spontaneously, their minds resonating in that freq window naturally.
I dont believe it has much to do with the divine, devils or anything else like it.
You mentioned the pineal Chakra..yeh.
Take a guess where DMT is produced.

You got that right Beast.Hopefully in the near future there might come to light some more compelling evidence.Until then, its all just speculation as to what it is,if it exsists and what enables it to happen..if anything.
And its doing things just as Sinora suggested..keeping records, among other things, that will contribute to this over all evidence in the end.
til then,we just keep chuggin and lookin, throwing ideas out there that hopefully, might have a little substance to them.

The longing people have for something deeper (perhaps in place of lacking social skills) finds some either hyper reactive to fluid conversation. Those that are lead to think some greater depth exist.. May become socially jaded.

When conversation is staple, finishing each others sentances is common.

Is there something more?

In a social dynamic yes their is, and a good group catylst can tap that.

Psychics would have people think you need a stack of books.

I think that interacting socially develops such skill , progressing with relatioships puts people in the same book to start, in a way any "stranger" to the circle will blend in with, or "vibe".

Psychics would have you believe this is deeper and more "out of reach" requiring costly sessions to "tap" that skill. One that can be developed through behavior studies, and social interactions out side of your circles.

Any thing psychic lacks application beyond a potential ice breaker parlor mixer. You may have what it takes to be socially skilled, maybe not psychic,
But in a way that will make you stand out with a bit of edge in a conversation.

For those who might not know what that is,entrainment is a physics phenomenon of resonance. It was first observed in the 17th century, and affects all of us. It is defined as the tendency for two oscillating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony.
It is also defined as a synchronization of two or more rhythmic cycles. The principle of entrainment is universal, and we find it in all aspects of life. We find it in chemistry, pharmacology, music, medicine, biology, psychology, sociology, astronomy, architecture just to give you a few examples. A classic example of this shows individual pulsing heart muscle cells. When they are brought close together, they begin pulsing in synchrony. Another example of the entrainment effect is women who live in the same household often find that their menstrual cycles will coincide.

Bottom line is,when you think of "psychic" phenomenon along these lines it really isnt hard to understand how it could occur as a natural thing, not paranormal. And if you look into or already know how this process works, you can very easily see how it would happen without any effort ,as it happens naturally.

That's an interesting idea, Oceanne, but it would seem to have the need for some sort of energy output in the form of a wave. And while the human brain does create a very low-power frequency, I'm unaware of any indication that it is of sufficient power for anyone to intercept or detect the energy wave created by another person. Generally speaking, scientific instruments tend to be many times more sensitive than human senses. That's quite the purpose of creating such devices. And while such devices can detect the energy emitted by a human brain, most require physical contact with the head/skull.

Another factor that people seem to neglect is evolution. Any system of the body requires a certain fraction of that individual's overall "budget". Sometimes this budget is in the form of calories metabolized. Other times it simply takes a slice of the individual's time to maintain. But either way, evolution favors for those things which aid in meeting the challenges of one's environment. Anything which doesn't provide such a function is not an evolutionary advantage and is phased out for a given species within a number of generations.

The ability to detect the brain waves of another individual would seem to offer only a very moderate evolutionary advantage at best. Yet the indication would be that this is either an ability which is growing within the human species or has been maintained in the human lineage for the duration of the existence of the species. It seems quite contrary to the whole concept of evolution.

Basically, the idea is that a fair amount of phenomena previously attribute to 'psychics' has a reasonable physical cause already. Many of these supernatural explanations result from a lack of understanding of physics, but that's hardly the individual's fault.

I'd never heard of Entrainment before you brought it up, Oceanne. When I think about it, Telepathic Projection sounds a lot like a supernatural 'explanation' for phenomena caused by Entrainment.

I understand what you are saying Beast, but fact is,entrainment happens.Take the menstral cycle..we arent aware its happening, but it is,and it does.Even a low output is output. While we might not be able to detect it consiously? Its happening. And thats how the universe works..waves.And waves travel. Some hit sea walss, and some just keep going to other shores. And simply put,we generate them,no matter how subtle.Cause and effect.plain and simple.

I would like to point out that not all evolutions/mutations in the genome are specifically advantageous. Human beings possess a rather large percentage of "junk DNA", or DNA that has no observable purpose in the genome, and has been shown to have no effect on physical development in test (on lab mice, mind you). Furthermore, we're so far removed from natural selection that there is a notable "freedom" for neutral mutations to develop and premeate the population.

Neutral changes don't necessarily act against evolution, as most mutations (the average human has over 120 at the moment of conception) are neutral anyway. To be able to detect the brainwaves of others may not be a distinct physiological advantage, but since we don't know how common it is, if indeed it is an existing condition, there's no reason to assume that it would be "phased out" of the human genome.

And the bioelectric energy field of a human can be detected physically at a distance of a few inches or more, and (as far as I know) we don't know the full extent of its effect on the environment around us and those who come in contact with it.

Well said Murete. And since you addressed the evoloution thing,I might point out another point by asking why is it that we almost constantly hear "oh I dont mean to do it,I dont control it,it just happens.."And almost no one can ever get a handle on it and control it.

Hmm,wonder why that is?
And hey, entraiment is just my proposal, but one I havent been able to debunk yet.

Oceanne, I never said that it's definitely the explanation; just that it's more likely than my earlier suggestion. ;)

Also, there are a lot of mutations in the human genome that are negative, like being more susceptible to cancer and/or disease, that are sustained only because modern medicine has come so far. Were these mutations left solely to natural selection, they would, as Beastt said, be removed from the genome after a few generations (because the people who have them would have DIED).

Common understanding the psychology or psych or psychic science is related to human psych.

which is the outcome of mind force-intellact-and the spirit in celestial and the soul.
And according to this common understanding ha-ha all the basic big laws are borrowed from psychic and spiritual science such as law of cause and effect as newton's third law which is frm ancient times is known as law of karma.
law of relativity, even the distance calculating formulation too is taken from ppsychic science by which man would able to send its vehicle to the moon or the mars and beyond frontiers.
thanks god that still law of chaos sparedd from psychic science to materialistic science.
The psych is the major subject and the one of most important field among five most important fields of human life is explained in spiritual science in VEdas earlier from ancient times. science is only born out come baby of just only 6-7 centuries and it was earlier under the cover of psychic science in western such as alchemy etc.

human psychic field is refered as cover of mind force to the soul, one of five covers explained in hinduism. (Manomay Kosha)

Its institute in modern Universities and still peepal don't liek to accept it as major subject, why? I don't know.

They are standing again the ancient scales of institutions to grow upon in htat line and division one by one.

I bet that within 50 years the psychic science the world's peepal will accept as equallant to other sciences. The things are going on. the human psych is the base of progress of each science. And most important is the conscious. when it lead, everything is controlled.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychic

The word psychic (pronounced /ˈsaɪkɨk/; from the Greek psychikos—"of the soul, mental") refers to the ability to perceive things hidden from the normal senses through what is described as extra-sensory perception, or to those people said to have such abilities. It is also used to refer to theatrical performers who use techniques such as prestidigitation and cold reading to produce the appearance of such abilities.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychic_ability

[edit] Early psychical research

American psychologist and philosopher William James (1842–1910) was an early psychical researcher. The Society for Psychical Research (SPR) was founded in London in 1882. The formation of the SPR was the first systematic effort to organize scientists and scholars for a critical and sustained investigation of paranormal phenomena. The early membership of the SPR included philosophers, scholars, scientists, educators and politicians, such as Henry Sidgwick, Arthur Balfour, William Crookes, Rufus Osgood Mason and Charles Richet.[16]

The SPR classified its subjects of study into several areas: telepathy, hypnotism, Reichenbach's phenomena, apparitions, haunts, and the physical aspects of Spiritualism such as table-tilting and the appearance of matter from unknown sources, otherwise known as materialization. One of the first collaborative efforts of the SPR was its Census of Hallucinations, which researched apparitional experiences and hallucinations in the sane. The census was the Society's first attempt at a statistical evaluation of paranormal phenomena, and the resulting publication in 1886, Phantasms of the Living is still widely referenced in parapsychological literature today. The SPR became the model for similar societies in other European countries and the United States during the late 19th century. Largely due to the support of psychologist William James, the American Society for Psychical Research (ASPR) opened its doors in New York City in 1885.[17]

Today, the SPR and ASPR continue the investigation of psi phenomena. The SPR's purpose is stated in every issue of its Journal—being "to examine without prejudice or prepossession and in a scientific spirit those faculties of man, real or supposed, which appear to be inexplicable on any generally recognized hypothesis."[18]

[edit] Rhine era
In 1911, Stanford University became the first academic institution in the United States to study extrasensory perception (ESP) and psychokinesis (PK) in a laboratory setting. The effort was headed by psychologist John Edgar Coover. In 1930, Duke University became the second major U.S. academic institution to engage in the critical study of ESP and psychokinesis in the laboratory. Under the guidance of psychologist William McDougall, and with the help of others in the department—including psychologists Karl Zener, Joseph B. Rhine, and Louisa E. Rhine—laboratory ESP experiments using volunteer subjects from the undergraduate student body began. As opposed to the approaches of psychical research, which generally sought qualitative evidence for paranormal phenomena, the experiments at Duke University proffered a quantitative, statistical approach using cards and dice. As a consequence of the ESP experiments at Duke, standard laboratory procedures for the testing of ESP developed and came to be adopted by interested researchers throughout the world.[17]

The publication of J.B. Rhine's book, New Frontiers of the Mind (1937) brought the laboratory's findings to the general public. In his book, Rhine popularized the word "parapsychology," which psychologist Max Dessoir had coined over 40 years earlier, to describe the research conducted at Duke. Rhine also founded an autonomous Parapsychology Laboratory within Duke and started the Journal of Parapsychology, which he co-edited with McDougall.[17]

The parapsychology experiments at Duke evoked much criticism from academic psychologists who challenged the concepts and evidence of ESP. Rhine and his colleagues attempted to address these criticisms through new experiments, articles, and books, and summarized the state of the criticism along with their responses in the book Extra-Sensory Perception After Sixty Years.[19]

The administration of Duke grew less sympathetic to parapsychology, and after Rhine's retirement in 1965 parapsychological links with the university were broken. Rhine later established the Foundation for Research on the Nature of Man (FRNM) and the Institute for Parapsychology as a successor to the Duke laboratory.[17] In 1995, the centenary of Rhine's birth, the FRNM was renamed the Rhine Research Center. Today, the Rhine Research Center is a parapsychology research unit, stating that it "aims to improve the human condition by creating a scientific understanding of those abilities and sensitivities that appear to transcend the ordinary limits of space and time."[20]

I'll start this one...

First of all, science does not deal with the supernatural. Anything that cannot be tested cannot be dealt with by science, and will never be science. These may be offered in major universities, but that doesn't make it any more legitimate than theology as a science.

Newton's Third Law of Thermodynamics deals with the impossibility of a system reaching absolute zero and works in conjunction with his Second Law, which deals with entropy and the tendency of heat to naturally travel to an area with less of it (in simple terms). What this has to do with karma I cannot imagine.

Science is not the "baby" of spiritualism, but more accurately its replacement. Primitive interpretations were gradually replaced with more accurate (and more importantly, testable) principles. Funny you should bring up Alchemy, because as developments were made in the field of chemistry and metallurgy, alchemy was rendered wholly obsolete.

I'll take your bet, as psychic studies can never become science, as it deals with things that cannot be tested and therefore can never be submitted to testing or peer review, and can therefore never be considered legitimate science. What would happen instead, is as developments were made in REAL science, and a physical understanding of psychic phenomena was gained, the term "psychic" would in turn be rendered obsolete, as the esoteric and non-physical explanations would no longer be necessary to understand how they worked.

Skipping over your unnecessary copy/paste of a wiki article, we come to your obvious quote-mining:

Albert Einstein Quotes
(more fun)

"There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is a miracle."

Not knowing the context, one could surmise that this indicates that Einstein believed in miracles in the supernatural sense, which he didn't.

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."

Again, taken out of context. What he was likely hinting at was that the common understanding of reality (aka universal concepts of space and time) were only an illusion, but were indeed persistent to human senses.

"The only real valuable thing is intuition."

Taken out of context... again.

"Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts."

These are getting annoying. You're using out-of-context quotes to make it seem like Einstein felt people should ignore rationality and look to the supernatural.

"Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish."

Einstein is commonly misrepresented using this type of quote. He didn't believe in a personal god, and thought the idea was laughable. He used the term "god" to describe the harmony and beauty of nature and the universe, allegorically at best.

"I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details."

See above reply.

"Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school."

Taken out of context again, he wasn't criticizing education as a whole.

"The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is at all comprehensible."

Irrelevant.

"The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education."

Again, irrelevant AND out of context.

"The only source of knowledge is experience."

Out of context. (You see why quote-mining is a bad thing, right?)

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

Irrelevant.

"All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree."

True, but once again, irrelevant.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."

Again true, but still irrelevant. Besides, Einstein didn't believe in a personal God.

"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."

"Sometimes one pays the most for the things one gets for nothing."

Both irrelevant. What, exactly, was the point of all these???

Heck, the brain does more than we realize - we only use about 20% of it, right? So it seems to be that there is some untapped 'psychic' ability that we don't use or understand completely.

I could be, but it most like means you're a loud thinker and others around you have some ability. But if it is your own power, it means you're projecting your thoughts far too intensely. Either way, you should guard you mind and thoughts more closely. At least I would... Unless you want those around you to hear what you're thinking.

Re: "fact is,entrainment happens.Take the menstral cycle..we arent aware its happening, but it is,and it does."

After doing only a very tiny amount of research on this it would seem that where a woman's menstrual cycle is concerned, the jury is still very much, out. Research performed by Edmond Dewan demonstrated that a woman's menstrual cycle could be brought nearer to the lunar cycle through the utilization of nocturnal light exposures which simulate moonlight. That would suggest that it's the photic stimulation which affect the pituitary-gonadal functions rather than any kind of detection of waves consistent with the lunar cycle.

---

Another collection of studies suggested that the results extracted from large-sample studies were very disappointing for the concept of entrainment. In fact, the only large-scale positive association was reported by one S. Arrhenius. His results were later negated by A. L. Gunn who contrasted his findings utilizing records of 10,416 events.

Could you perhaps provide some links to research results where the assertions concerning entrainment are confirmed rather than refuted?

Biological Rhythms are far more prevalent than you might think.. Circadian,(which you posted a bit on) Neurotransmitters, Hormones, the Brain, the Heart, and Breathing, and when a group is entrained to follow each other's rhythm, you know it and you feel it. Drummers call it the pocket. But music does not always need to be involved.Only frequency.
Anyway,I have some stuff on it yes,and will post it as soon as get my flash drive ..didnt bring it this morning.

There have been more studies done Beast and It has been concluded that nonphotic stimuli can entrain the human circadian clock in individuals lacking ocular circadian photoreception.
One study I can think of off the top of my head was done by Am J Physiol.
Regardless, there are different types of entrainiment. And while there might not be anything to solidly state that humans do this mentally in this context, there is evidence to suggest it could be a possiblitly..

Drax thats only i tried to say that its psychic activity and one should try to control it through meditation. if it remain uncontrol it will grow more and more and this may bring depression to the person from whome the pulsing is sent automatically its all psychic. If it starts expanding many peepal fall to cases and goes to psychiatrist and takes pills and medicare and othes say its not psychic.

As I honour you DLY,but to say all those who support science have no understanding or knowledge or growth in pshycic things..that just isnt true. There are many who have balanced theirselves between the two in order to look at both .We arent talking about right or wrong..that doesnt even matter at this point because there is no way to tell. And thats what it is about..balance.If someone wants to hardline one way,and another another way,so be it.But there are those who dont hardline, and to say something like that..isnt right.
And in order to even have something of the phsycic nature to even happen, there must be something that enables it to..it just doesnt go Poof! And happen, simply because we want it to.And someof us are looking for that. And it has to be found thru science, because out of the thousands of years of trying, all the philosophy or meditation or any of that isnt going to show us any more than it already has.

That website doesn't use it in context either. You continue to make it seem like Einstein was encouraging people to look to the supernatural to explain things.

I don'y know why einstein prayed the God so much time in his life...

Here are two quotes from Einstein that I feel demonstrate his views on the mystical rather well:

"What I see in Nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only
very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of
"humility." This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do
with mysticism"

and,

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly."

So to put your argument to rest, Einstein was agnostic. He didn't concern himself with the supernatural or a personal God. If you please, stop quote-mining and using arguments from authority. Logical fallacies don't make your arguments any more valid.

When I notice a severly intoxicated person ingage with what they later refer to as ghost, I have an idea of what they are talking about, when I relate to Alsziemer patients who speak past me to others clearly not there.. I can oddly relate. Ghost, not in the accepted manner but to me, yes. Can others engage with those ghost, NO they are the product of a glitch in soft wires, what causes that glitch? I don't think psychic research will find, though they will, and have made some far-out speculations.. psuedo science (done by people with grand sounding "cracker jack box" degrees) have scammed millions of grant and private money into quack postulations..

Alrighty then,

Im gonna put my foot prolly down my throat on this one.

I stand by Oceannes, view point on this, entertainment does seem to be the logical frequencies generation of phenomina.

Even though we can feel the ground that doesn;t mean we are standing on it, etc.

But on a personal note, DemonLovesYou.....this is getting rediculous with your posting. Your commentary is nothing more then the butchering of other philiosophical statements which are non-empirically sound. Thus fallacies of reason cannot and do not stand to hold any of the amount of water which seems to have flooded this forum thread, and caused the degenerated mess that we see before us.

It began very nicely, and it would do good for it to return to such states before it gets closed for going off point and becoming stupid. Thank you.

On the same note, i feel that in the subject of entertainment is an interesting manipulation on the outer and inner worlds of the cosmos.

" today, the simulation engineer is fascinated by the technical approach, rapid
changes in the technology, and reports eagerly on the numbers in terms of speed,
terabytes, pixels, voxel terrain, interpenetrating polygons, antialiasing and cost compared
to a year ago. Outside the industry, in entertainment and elsewhere, people only want to
know what they will experience, what they will see and do. The technology is amazing.
No one else really wants to know why. People simply want to have it work and enjoy the
results."

I'm getting really tired of explaining this. Not only is it irrelevant, and it certainly looks like you're now trying to avoid the discussion at hand because you have nothing to back it up with. Not only did Einstein not believe in a personal God, as expressed blatantly in:

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly." - Albert Einstein

...but it's also entirely beside the point whether or not he believed in God. Einstein has nothing to do with the discussion at hand, you continue to bring him up because we're supposed to say, "Oh, Einstein talked about God, so that means he must be real!" For the last time, stop quote-mining, and stop using arguments from authority. It doesn't matter what Einstein's spiritual beliefs were, because I can be entirely justified in saying he was a crazy old fool for believing them. Just because someone has made pivotal contributions to science doesn't mean everything they believe is infallible.

I have to agree with Muerte, this discussion is starting to stray way. I don't see why Einstein quotes are relevant to this topic. This discussion is in no way about Einstein's religious views. I started this thread because I had a question about a "gift" that I might or might not have.

That being said, Oceanne, I'm a little confused on this entrainment topic you brought up, perhaps I was reading it wrong, could you please further explain because I do not fully understand. Then again, I was never one to be interested in physics or any sciences so that could be why.

My apologies for getting sidetracked, Kyriel. Here are a few links I found regarding brainwave entrainment:

http://www.web-us.com/thescience.htm

https://www.transparentcorp.com/products/np/entrainment.php

They should help you to understand it pretty well.

Not a problem. It looks rather fascinating, and I'm going to look a bit more into articles from scientific journals (that I don't have to BUY to download!) to see what made it past peer review.

OK Ill do my best..When peeps are in close proximity of one another they do entrain with one another.Sometimes sponateously, such as in the case of the op and countless others.Sometimes it is done on pourpose..ie: religion, shamanism ,witchcraft etc..it is at the core of all religions. And what they do is attempt to entrain themselves with their fellowship and their God using extrnal ways to achieve it...drums,OHMS,chants dance, music. And since it is something that always occurs in the world around us..in people ,other creatures clocks even, there is no reason to think it doesnt happen spontaneously when conditions are right and all parties ar relaxed and in a certain frequency.I feel ithis type of thing is simply a product of natural entrainment.
Not telepathy..she wasnt trying to send the thought out.

Re: ""There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." Albert Einstein"

I dare say that Einstein is perhaps the most often misrepresented of all celebrities, past and present, when people wish to assert in direct contrast to what he actually believed and presented.

Before anyone quotes Einstein they should take the time to read enough of his writings and learn enough of his philosophy to hold an accurate understanding concerning his thoughts and opinions.

It makes some sense to quote such a distinguished character when his words are thought to support one's own assertions. Not that we should all suddenly fall in line with anyone, regardless of their intellect or level of success. But it certainly makes more sense than quoting someone most known only for failures.

Einstein did not believe in miracles as other than the clearly understandable and logical wondrous workings of the universe. And in studying the nature of the universe, he firmly believed that nothing about it would be beyond man's understanding. He even challenged quantum mechanics out of this belief, stating that "God" (and to understand his statement fully, it should be noted he did not believe in any kind of personal god who would concern himself with individuals), would have created the universe so that it could be clearly understood by man. He didn't subscribe to any propositions of the supernatural. In fact, even while he was alive there were so many people misusing and misunderstanding his quotations that he attempted to clear the matter up in a letter when he wrote;

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."

[1954 From "Albert Einstein: The Human Side", edited by Helen Dukas and Banesh Hoffman, Princeton University Press]

Want to know what Einstein thought about the proposition of miracles? Look to the phrase, "so far as our science can reveal it"

Einstein further confirmed his lack of belief in anything beyond the realm of human understanding in debating Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle in stating "God does not play dice with the universe". In other words, he was stating that everything should proceed in a purely orderly and logical manner. He outright rejected the idea that anything would be left so uncertain as to comply with the uncertainty principle. In his final work he even showed a complete disregard for quantum mechanics as well as violating certain principles of his own general relativity in his pursuit of a clear, orderly, logical and purely understandable nature of the universe.

Nothing about the idea of miracles can be seen to fit into a concept of clear, logical understanding.

This is where the discussion becomes interesting because when people quote Einstein, they're often hoping to persuade others to accept their ideas through the supposed authority of a man who cannot be described as other than purely brilliant. But when they find that they have misunderstood his actual intent and that the man they quote would have been clearly opposed to their position, they do not suddenly alter their own beliefs as they would hope others might do under the color of authority offered in the presence of the individual whom they quote.

Firstly, let me apologize for reposting the same Einstein quote offered by LaMuerte.

Re: "And while there might not be anything to solidly state that humans do this mentally in this context, there is evidence to suggest it could be a possiblitly."

While it is certain that some of the evidence suggests entrainment is a possibility, Oceanne, it should also be noted that there is evidence to suggest that the Earth doesn't orbit the sun, there is evidence that the Earth is flat and there is evidence to suggest that O. J. Simpson did not kill Nicole Brown.

The important thing about evidence is to recognize the nature of reality as it relates to evidence. One can have a dozen pieces of solid objective supporting evidence to support an assertion and yet the entire assertion can be completely dismantled by one clear, conclusive piece of refuting evidence. To a manner of speaking, once one has solid conclusive evidence against a proposition, it matters not how much supporting evidence exists.

You might have a murder case where the prime suspect was known to be at the location of the crime, known to have motive, known to have threatened the victim, confessed to having shot the victim, his fingerprints found on the victim and the victim's blood found on his clothing. That presents a fairly strong case. But if additional evidence shows that the victim was not shot but killed with a knife and the suspect was conclusively shown to have been unconscious at the time of the murder, the case against the suspect holds no merit.

It takes but one conclusive piece of refuting evidence to render multiple strong pieces of supporting evidence completely moot.

If people can and do detect the brain waves of others and their behaviors, knowledge, responses and/or personal biological rhythms are affected by their influence, it shouldn't be at all difficult to construct a double-blind study to show conclusive support for the idea. I've not yet seen such support.

So I still have to agree with Sinora in her suggestion that Kyriel keep a log, not just of the coincidences that occur, but as often as possible, records of each discussion noting whether or not any odd coincidences seemed to arise from her communication with others. If one doesn't approach research from an objective perspective, all they will conclude is what they wanted to believe in the first place. If the log supports the idea that there may be some kind of unseen/unknown connection between her and other people, then she would have evidence to support the idea.

Re: "and if it isnt entrainment, then what could it be?"

No, I'm not suggesting that it's paranormal or anything other than purely natural. As I stated in my first post in this thread, when we become alert to anything, we usually begin to notice every little nuance which seems to confirm our suspicions. I used the example of buying a new car. Ever buy a new car and in the next few weeks it seems like you see the same model car everywhere you look? Of course it's easy to conclude that the moment you bought one, the sales on that model of car sky-rocketed. But in reality, you've simply become hyper-aware of others driving the same model car you're now driving. Of course it doesn't have to be a car. It can be a style of clothing, a camera, a model of cell phone or practically anything.

In nearly every conversation, there may come a point where more than one person is thinking the same thing at the same time and sometimes two people say the same thing at the same time. If it happens once in a conversation we pay little attention. If it happens twice we might think it's funny. If it happens three times, some will be prone to finding it suspicious and will then become hyper-sensitive to any such occurrence.

Once someone becomes hyper-sensitive and suspicious that something out of the ordinary is happening, they'll begin to pay far more notice to additional coincidental instances. The more alert they become, the more they'll recognize such things when they happen. The more they happen, the more notice they pay. It launches into a snowball effect.

This can be especially noticeable if one happens to be talking to a person with very similar opinions, background, intellect, likes and dislikes. I'm sure you've experienced being around someone for whom you've started to hold romantic notions and experienced many times in a single conversation where both of you have stated the same thing almost word-for-word at the same time. That doesn't mean there is some unknown or unseen link between you other than sharing similar opinions, similar tastes and a conversation on a particular topic.

That's why I thought Sinora's suggestion was such a logical and proper thing for Kyriel to do. If she keeps a general log book noting references to all of her conversations, both those in which there seem to be odd coincidences and those in which no such coincidences occur, she can likely gather a more objective view and better determine whether or not anything unusual is really happening.

To go back to the car analogy, one would attempt to document everytime they saw a car of the model they planned to buy for a month or more before they made their purchase, then continue to document such sightings after they've purchased that model of car. Most likely, they'll find out that there is no rise in sightings of that model car after they buy one. It's simply hyper-sensitivity causing them to be more alert to those in similar cars.

Before seeking answers to perceived strange occurrences, it's always best to first confirm that something out of the ordinary is actually happening. Only after confirmation has been obtained is it appropriate to seek an explanation for the unusual events. When people fail to do this, they tend to launch into all kinds of superstitions in an attempt to explain that which is not really note-worthy aside from their self-induced hyper-sensitivity.

Something that is collective at a group, or sub- group level, it is not a fixed absolute by any means, it could well be said to be elusive.

That's an assertion.

Certainly entrainment explains some things but from the small amount I've researched so far, the objective studies have failed to bear this out concerning the topic at hand. At this point I would suggest it seems unlikely to be the best explanation for the issues addressed in the opening post.

Otherwise would MRI, or the more fine tuned version be employees to "look " in on any brain activity that would present findings for entrainment?

This is just a general response to the idea of researching something. The internet provides a lot of knowledge and when you add up intranets you may have something like 25% of all human knowledge in some digital form. Unless you have read books specifically dealing with a topic or have gone to school for a subject or can engage in the thought experiment (which is where Einstein got and developed his ideas, not by reading a science article in a news paper or listening to some smart friends) then you can't really say you've researched something to a point where you can make an educated addition to a discussion; let alone an educated disagreement.

I know a fair amount about cars but I don't disregard the words of someone who has studied cars for years just because they say something I either have yet to learn about or simply lack the ability to grasp.

Now Oceanne is not a scientist but I am and the vast majority of what she talks about has some strong bases in reality. Of course there are areas where she lacks, others where she only knows enough to ask appropriate questions but overall she hits the mark. The biggest issue I've seen is the simple matter of semantics. If two people are using different ways of explaining the exact same thing it can become troublesome. I've had many occasions where I've been misunderstood on the grounds of word play but it's up to the person listening to carry the burden of gaining a new understanding. The person speaking should take into consideration the thought and linguistic differences between the parties and try to use universal words (of course even that can add problems).

Anyway, I fully believe that some people may have one form of psychic ability or another. I also believe that just about everyone has the potential to exercise what is commonly known as psychic ability, in one strength or another. It has been one of my main goals to explain "psychic abilities" and other "special gifts" using physics. There has yet to be something I have found without some grounds in legit. science. It may be explained in differing ways and with differing methods/meanings/ideals etc. relative to popular culture or by the g*d wiki but that doesn't make it any less real.

Just because "Al Gore's Internet" doesn't have something or your local state college library doesn't have it either doesn't mean it does not exists or that it is part of some fringe.

Simply my long 2.5 cents worth :)

--X

Re: "A little more reading material for everyone ...
http://www.earthpulse.net/entrainment.htm"

I think it's important when reviewing any source of information to pay close attention to motives, agendas and the language utilized. For example...

From the article;

"The frequencies of naturally occurring electromagnetic signals circulating in the Earth's ionosphere have determined the 'evolution' and operation of the human brain since the beginning of time."

This is a direct contradiction to the theory of evolution. These frequencies are not responsible for human evolution, nor the evolution of the human brain. They may be a small factor. However evolution is determined by random mutations caused when neutrinos strike DNA during replication, resulting in a very tiny changes/errors. If the resulting mutation provides a beneficial property in addressing an environmental challenge, the odds of retaining and passing the mutation increase.

"See also Monroe Institute for affordable brain wave entrainment Cd's and Tapes."

As a general rule I find it appropriate to be suspicious of any source which is presenting scientifically controversial assertions in an attempt to sell a product or service.

"Later research confirmed a relationship to human health and well-being and even to ESP or psi phenomena."

It says it was confirmed but (admittedly, without reading the entire page), I saw no reference to the supposed confirming research. Not even a footnote.

And since ESP has never been confirmed, any claim to linking ESP to any other phenomena can't be taken seriously.

"All biological processes are a function of electromagnetic field interactions."

Biological processes are electro-chemical, not electromagnetic. EMF can have an effect on some biological processes but the assertion is a bit of an over-statement.

Note the language:

"Lewis B. Hainsworth, MA, was among the first to suggest"

"Some research has suggested"

"Lewis B. Hainsworth of Western Australia seems to be the first researcher to recognize the relationship"

"Hainsworth imparted this awareness to Dr Robert O. Becker"

(In other words, he made his beliefs known to others.)

"this phenomenon... became the basis for Itzhak Bentov's, "Stalking the Wild Pendulum"

In other words, some guy wrote a book which is rated as fiction by some sources and non-fiction by others, based on the idea.

Now let's look at other publications which cite this work;
- Stone Age Wisdom: The Healing Principles of Shamanism
- Your Sixth Sense: Unlocking the Power of Your Intuition
- The Inner Temple of Witchcraft: Magick, Meditation and Psychic Development
- Number Synchronicity: A Beacon of Light for the Soul's Journey
- Cyberhenge: Modern Pagans on the Internet
- Operation Terra: Messages from the Hosts of Heaven, a new revelation on Earth changes, ETs, the end times, and the journey to the New Earth, Terra, Volume One
- Channeling: Investigations on Receiving Information from Paranormal Sources, Second Edition

See the pattern? Does it offer any link to sound scientific principles?

What other books have been written by the same author (Itzhak Bentov)?
"A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness: A Cosmic Book on the Mechanics of Creation"
"A Cosmic Book"

More red-flags in the language;

"Hainsworth sent up a clarion cry against hazardous EM (electromagnetic) pollution"

People have sent up cries about countless numbers of things, some with merit and some without.

"possibly threatening the whole biosphere, human welfare and our evolutionary future"

"The bridge connecting solar system resonances and brain frequencies resides in our human DNA helix, which co-evolved in the Earth's environment."

Anything to back that up?

"Electrical engineer Lewis B. Hainsworth, MA, was among the first to suggest that human health is linked with geophysical parameters"

As far as I'm aware, Reverend Marshall Applewhite was among the first to suggest that the Hale-Bopp comet was shielding a space craft waiting to take suicide victims to Nirvana. That doesn't make it true.
---

"His hypothesis identified naturally occurring features which determine the frequency spectrum of human brain-wave rhythms:"

A"hypothesis" being a scientifically sound idea which has not been tested and confirmed.

Anyway, not having read the whole article and lacking the time to do so at the moment, I can only say that in the first few paragraphs I noted a number of red-flags. Not that it means the information isn't relatively sound but if you read it with a critical eye, it seems obvious that even the author(s) recognized the necessity of very careful wording in the attempt to present the idea as fully confirmed, without actually saying that it has been.

Maybe it's a sound principle... maybe it isn't. I have my doubts and apparently, so does the author of the article. The article (so far), isn't at all compelling. And I still think there are far better explanations ready at hand, to explain the issues addressed in the opening post.

I would offer that it's usually best to look to the known for explanations and only when compelling explanations are lacking within the known, does it become appropriate to look beyond the known to that which has only been "suggested".

"Now Oceanne is not a scientist but I am..."

This is another assertion, which like that of entrainment, has yet to be offered compelling confirmation.

I think we all have our doubts, otherwise we wouldnt be hashing it out here. But all in all,all Im doing is presenting something that I found to be a good contender. When I see all that CD stuff,or whatever theyre selling,I dont even pay attention to it.I was looking to post an explaination for what I was trying to explain. That other stuff is trash ..they can do what they want with..sell it or stuff it.Or you and Dab can take off with it if you like.
Thats not what Im looking at.

Okay Kyriel,

How do you feel about attempting to keep a record of your conversations; noting when you have these coincidental experiences and when you don't?

Next time that it happens I will take note of it. I think the whole thing first started about 4 or 5 years ago and recently it's been happening a lot more which is why I finally decided to ask someone about it.

Im wondering Kyriel if you can recall how you were feeling at the time, how close you might have been to the ones involved. (long distance is another part that Im not quite ready to touch on) How long you have known the peeps it happened with,ect..Any detail will be very helpful in helping me determine if this is a case of natural Sonic entrainment.
And please, for those who have doubts or cannot see where Im coming from with this idea,I have laid down a small bit of the basics on how resonance and entrainment works, but there is alot more in my journal that would help you to understand how it might easily be applied to situations such as the one your are decribing.

Well like I said before the most recent event happened about a week ago with one of my coworkers who I've known for about a year and a half. We were discussing another one of our coworkers that I was at the time have a problem with at the time (very, very long story and I probably should mention the coworker we were talking about also happens to be one of my friends). We were both in the basement and I was breading fish for the fish fry special when she into the other room to grab some alcohol to stock the bar with. I was thinking about my coworker/friend and the problems she was facing and since I always somehow find a way to make my friends' problems MY problems, I was a little emotionally upset. I heard her call my name from the other room and she asked me if I said anything. I told her I said nothing and asked her what she thought I said. When she told me she thought I said something about my coworker/friend I thought, 'Oh not again!'. This is the second time this has happened between this person and myself.

Great, this will be really helpful. And anyone else who has had it happen and would like to share it will contribute tons.
But one thing I would like to say..in honesty, this happens to me in many instances..so much so that peeps freak out.Not saying Im psychic, cause when it comes to this type of occurence I dont feel its telelpathy in the context of which it is normally termed.Just so you know,I have had it happen 10 or more times in conversations, more with some than others. And there are several here that can,and possible will attest to that .I answer questions before theyre asked or even indicated etc..I think everyone does it,as it is a part of how we work as humans.
But I would like to gather more account testimonies some I can to comparatives and all that junk.
Thanks..keep them coming.

Okay so on the credibility of what rants might come from my corner.

I do say no less then a dozen or more times a day does this apply to my day to day. It comes in part from maintaining a controlled mental state which allows for conscious manipulation of the social environs. To do exactly what it sounds like, "Bend the construct".

This is not a simple sort of physics but a complex mechanical monster which must be studied and applied under similiar condiitons as often as possible. Study from the Japanese Dr Emoto, to chaos magick, bio-chemestry and gentics will tell you this.

To learn to train the mind to stay within this field of influence is what can be by some considered a form of enlightnement to be able to assertain the very nature of existence and thusly be in direct communion with it. Spell crafting, and Ritual work, can also develop the mind under controlled conditions. But if the universe is mind, then it is the mind which needs to be controlled, or at least put under the direction of a stable and full will.

Can't have one without the other im afraid. But all we can do is intend that our results will be, and by this marvelous mechanical living essence, comes about under the correct frequencies.

Also noting, that there are many times over the last year and a half i have been speaking with Oceanne, as well as others here, that something is discussed, and its relivance occurs in day to day.

That is a serious advantage of being able to be in the right mindset. Im not so much a lets sit around and rehash old stuff over and over, but when it comes to the doing things of discussion that has been a hallmark of many conversations had with people like Oceanne, and a few others.

This thread has turned around. Very nice.

Blushes~ hey thank you Dab for your support and kind words.
Kyriel, Have there been accounts of this happening when you are just sitting with someone? not really talking or anything weighing heavy on your mind?
Oh,and once I get a little bit more across the board,I will be explaining my point and why I think this is natural entrainment..Just cant do it with conviction and dont feel satisfied just yet.
And hey if it turns out Im wrong?Shrugs~ back to the drawing board.:) Like countless miliions.
So please, dont anyone worry about offending me in anyway because you might not agree,or if you find a hole in the idea that we need to look at..cause frankly,Im very much depending on output and contributions from others in this.

Well I can remember another time when I was sitting in study hall by a few of my friends just listening to their conversation when one of them turned to me and asked me if I had said anything. I wasn't really paying close attention to the conversation as I was working on homework, but I was thinking about what they were saying.

Here is an interesting note that I just thought of: usually when it happens, in my mind I'll be planning out what to say to that person. Hope that can help you in any way.

Something that I would very much like you to keep in mind while considering this ..Especially the first deffinition.

From my journal.
Bio this bio that...

Bio-entrainment
Any two systems that pulse or vibrate in a regular periodic manner can phase-lock or entrain. It is a universal potential since all light sound and matter are made up of vibration. Entrainment effects an increase in harmony, efficiency, and "flow" between the two or more systems.

Biostatic Field
An electrostatic field around all living things. Is affected by the electromagnetic impulses of the body. An active stretching/contraction of whole muscle groups.

Electrostatic Field
The area of static electrons that surround an object whether it is living or non-living. The field is denser towards the object's surface and theoretically extends to infinity.

Entrainment
Two or more systems that are rhythmically fluctuating at the same "frequency" that phase-lock.

I am happy to add on this one.

Its seems to be very validating from my own reserach, i should much like to see how this continues to develop. It has focused itself nicely here. The end resultant would be benficial to many. If they understood the full scope of what it means to enter into an entrained vibrational frequency...so many possibilities.

Possibilities are one factor often presented before application.

Where to with confirmation of such near metaphysical phenomena?

Knowing a form of communication above a thought, but below a whisper
I have "heard" what appeared to be telepathy. I need to include the fact that it was a mushroom circle I experienced this in. Audio presync, pauses,
Body language, gauged activity ( example a child caught by a mother from another room. Is it an absolute, the moment you press it, it is no more understood, could still happen.

If applied it will serve to advance associations, you can introduce people
In relative manner.

A social catylst.

In review of this, I note that when a problem weighs us down, those in our circle of friends, or those connected by network pick-up on fragments of our current pressing matters, much in the same way gossip spreads through grapevines, social coping stragedy works as well. A friend that invites you to speak your mind is first considered probing (unless you have an establish relation). So a newer friend is likely to use a ruse, such as "You where saying something about .. such and such.?" So the preexisting knowledge/ info that the friend has
prompts the matter into conversation.

Re: "never doubt any thing always have an open mind, i think there is an extremely good chance that there is phsycics because there can be brain mutations, mental retardation being on of them, so yeah i think that is possible."

Open minds lead to burnt offerings, sacrificial killings, thrusting children into volcanoes, the Inquisition, the Crusades, the imprisonment of Galileo, the death by fire of Giordano Bruno and a hundred other atrocities. Is that really the kind of thinking we wish to mimic?

One should seek to have a rational mind. One that is open is open to everything and will allow every concept to occupy equal space and with equal weight. You end up with a miss-mash of contradictory, worthless and demonstrably false beliefs intermixed with truths but incapable of telling one from the other. One should hold to a standard of rationality. When we look to the history of man and man's beliefs we find that never has there been a case where subjective beliefs (accepted without credible evidence), have contradicted objective evidence (including the complete lack of objective evidence), and turned out to be correct.

Subjective beliefs devoid of supporting objective evidence are always, always, always, always wrong... every single time. Why it is that people can't seem to grasp the significance of this is somewhat troubling as well as being responsible for the perpetuation of ignorance where knowledge is available. What is often called having an "open-mind" is really nothing more than a demonstration of the most closed and irrational kind of thinking of which the human mind is capable. It is the complete rejection of credible evidence, rationality, logic and reason; all for the sake of holding onto a belief which is demonstrably incorrect. It's anything but productive. It drags mankind down into the mud and retards his intellectual development.

And anyone who holds strictly to an unevidenced belief in rejecting the objective evidence is being anything but open to the possibilities. They're simply being closed to everything but that which they want to believe. It's the most closed-minded thinking available to anyone.

If the gas gauge reads empty, a hose lowered into the tank comes back dry, the engine won't start and there isn't even an odor of fuel in the intake manifold, is it really being "open-minded" to believe the vehicle might still be fully fueled? Or is that simply being close-minded to the evidence?

Once the mind is open to a popular belief, one is sub catigorized into sub beliefs, one believers interpretation, vs other interpretation. Then the pressure is to refute, and counter refute what one accepts (Again).
Where is the End Game To Belief is supernatural, or metaphysics?

We are a complex system, that interacts in complex ways, all through social interaction. Those interactions are not limited to Audio, they are not limited to visual, I find it telling that people who claim telepathy or empathy are lousy conversationalist, implying you know what a person is thinking, or that others can read your projected thoughts, can mean any number of things, the top of the list is as mundane as you may be a brooder, wearing your anxiety on the out side, hoping someone "cracks you" to share.

Happy events same way.. beaming away .. waiting for someone to suggest, "Someone had a good time." A mental quirk takes that to be something more sensational then social engagement, people are paying attention to you, that is neat, they seek a way to interact with you.

Folk practice uses subtle networking to intervene with fellow folk. City slickers are too fast paced for such grass roots socializing, a rural farmer can impress city folk for hours with social charm that would bore a fellow farmer.

Scientifically speaking the possibility of a person to be telepathic exists. I personally believe in universalism and that we are all connected. If you research the idea of vibration you will find that it has been proven that all mater exists with its own vibration and there are definitively sensitive to those vibrations. Another form of telepathy is empathy, which has been independantly proven on many occasions. People with no prior knowlage of an event in an area have shown to be able to describe the event in detail. So thought projection or reading is along the same lines in that it is reading the waveform of the vibration or process their thoughts at a vibration that is close enough to others that they pick it up.

to get started if interested in researching this idea look for the dvd "What The Bleep Do We Know" with Marlee Matlin in it.

Laz
