I was wondering if it was possible to be a vegetarian saguine vampire?
I know that a psychic vampire can be even a vegan vampire.
Since saguine vampires feed on blood, what then defines them on a vegetarian scale?
Vegetarian- defined as somebody not eating meat or fish: somebody who eats vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, and usually eggs and dairy products, but not meat or fish.
I don't think it is possible, as the very definition of sanguinary is bloodthirsty.
I truly don not think this is possible, a vegetarian vampire would shrival and die. but it may be good as a book.
but we must go back to the vampiric lore and some what tradition that has held high for years, blood drinkingcreature of the night.

To me, that question is equal to- "Is it possible to be an avid game hunter, yet be trying to oulaw guns in this country?"
Syntetic Blood? Vegans are stricter then Vegitarians, Macrobiotic is people that only eat food in season.. As a californian you need to know all this or you cannot graduate or something, I think it is regulated by the state.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to finish my Nonalholic Whiskey, then get over to the AA meeting..
How about the Blood Squeezed From Turnips?
In "Midnight Brunch at Casa Dracula" series by Marta Acosta, the human vampires get off on red juice and red fruit. It's a fun series. Chick lit.
do you mean:
can sanguine vampires turn psychic? and vice versa?
and to answer that one myself, i think they could
I do not see how they could survive without blood or a close substitue for them to survive.. yet, myself I do not know any Real Vampires that live off blood only so...
First I would ask for clarification. Are we discussing fictional/mythical vampires or those of us who are affected by the condition called vampirism?
I can only speak from the perspective of the latter as I am neither fictional nor mythical. Unfortunately, I am also not vegetarian. I think it is certainly possible. When taking blood, sanguinary vampires are interested in the energy contained within the blood - not the blood itself. Also, we do not feed from animals. I, personally, don't see the two (bloodfeeding for energy and not eating meat for personal reasons) as actually being related. To me, it is similar to the religious choices of those affected by vampirism - not related to the actual physiological condition of vampirism in any way.
Again, just my opinion.
No I really dont think that is possible seeing as you feed off of the blood....which would be the same as eating the meat.....
I believe it's possible with a substitue and only if your very careful. Also, blood isn't the same as meat. The same way skin isn't meat (atleast I don't think so) you may have a different opinion.
We are talking about real, fictional, and mythological vampires or whatever you choose to talk about just try to number your arguments, or do
"Real:"
"Fictional:" Etc. Makes it much easier to read.
So rosho, we are talking synthetic blood? yet the vampire a hunter by nature or the taste of real blood at the time of the hunt would be missed.
where would they get it, a 7-11 store? or would they have their own store.
Set up an account at a blood bank for synthetic blood products...seems to be the only way for a sanguine vampire to go.
And those who go to these banks will be marked and targeted. much like rasicm in the 60"s or even the jews in 40"s.
All Branded and when things need and escape goat in society , these people will be targeted first.
Just putting a twist on this.
Wow that brought back memories. but like that if we think of the myths and maybe vampires would not be so scary for now instead of people they attack it is your garden at night.
I would be the first person to slip a person who claims to be a Sang.. (What ever the pop term is) a blood filled smoothie, thewn as they drink it, tell them what it is.. I bet a fist full of cash they spit take.. it is all in their head.. plan and simple.. Unless these people start posting video, I am convinced that it is all a group pathology.. Creating an environment where people need to be PC with matters of fiction.. Is it lame.. Over beat, and no longer "The New Thing"????????
How many people are claiming to be Sang.. and are reveled as vegitarians, that tells us, that people are willing to "Go along with anything to feel like they are popular, either they are not vegan (yet they want to belong with Vegans), or they are a social butterfly, who will say they are a masochist, yet run when slapped on the wrist..
Bloodmother: A vampire calling him/herself a vegetarian is like a veteran prostitute calling her/himself a virgin.
Look up hymenoplasty anywhere online, it is possible for a veteran prostitute to call herself/himself a virgin.
Well, are you a vampire Cadre or do you know a vampire? I don't think you are. If you know a vampire, I'd like to meet them. If both of those are false, how would you know that vampires are hunters, that's just a preconceived notion. Vampires also could be living among us you never know (as in Underworld), or any secret vampire movie.
"You never know", that is Cope out Logic. No vampires exist, those who claim to be vampires are nothing more then emersed role players.
So about this Hyminplasty.. how extranuously anal is that?
Blood contains protien, it is not grown, anybody that contridicts themselves
by claiming to be a Sang. and A vegaterian is delusional, but that is about as
obvious as it gets.
your right i am not vampire nor claim the such. yet if going on myth and lore than how can vampires be vegitarians. like saying cannibals only eat vegetables.
A redunant statement. to say the least. a good post to make the mind think yet a mytholigical post in it.
Well, there's not much to it I was just trying to prove Bloodmother wrong, that it is possible to have had sex and still claim your a virgin, no matter how awkward that seems. A vampire whether fictional, real, or myth, could still technically be a vegeterian, depending on if you classify blood as meat, but that's a personal choice.
Personal? Consuming flesh, or body fluids is not negotable, you can as you state claim to be a virgin, but in actuality the person is restored.
You cannot have both soup, and stew in the same bowl.
You can twist it anyway you want, it is just not so.
As someone who has been a vegetarian my whole life and very nearly vegan for the past 17-18 years, I would suggest with a high degree of confidence that if you're drinking blood as a food source, then you're not a vegetarian. And if you're not, then you're not a vampire.
It's a contradiction in terms, something like an atheistic-Christian.
Based on the defination of the word vegetarian then blood is not specified and could be considered much like drinking milk from a cow or eating eggs. Therefore drinking blood whether a real or fictional vampire does not exclude one from being a vegetarian.
It does however prevent them from being Vegan as this does include any products from a living being including blood.
But why would they want to when the whole ideal of their nature is the need for blood to keep them energized?
I suppose it would depend upon how strictly one sticks to the specific wording of a given definition as opposed to adhering to the conceptual basis of the diet itself. It's something like letter of the law verses spirit of the law. Of course in this case it's more the spirit of a concept verses the specific wording of a given definition.
At it's heart the diet usually centers on a specific concept based in reason. One is vegetarian when they avoid ingesting animal products which aren't normally excreted by the animal such as eggs and milk. Blood isn't something normally excreted and tends to be more a vital part of the animal's body. So while it's not properly classified as "meat", it's also not a by-product of the animal's normal biological processes.
Different people have different reasons for adhering to a vegetarian diet, often centering on religious/moral or health concerns. In most religious/moral aspects, there is concern for the welfare of other sentient beings. When it comes to health concerns, it's usually based upon the observation that human digestive physiology is contrary to omnivorous or carnivorous diets and the ingestion of omnivorous/carnivorous foods is adverse to optimal health for animals with such a physiology. Physiologically, humans are mono-gastric herbivores rather than omnivores or carnivores. In either case, the consumption of blood as a food source would be contrary to the concept of vegetarianism, while still remaining within the less conceptually enclosed standard definitions.
but milk is a bodily fluid, so by that arguement anyone who drinks milk cannot call themselves a vegetarian. there is a subtle difference between a vegetarian and a vegan. Do vegetarians avoid anything with cochineal food colouring? do they avoid chocolate bars (contains lecithin - usually derived from pork).
if a vampire does not consume the flesh, nor kill to feed, then it can rightly claim to be vegetarian.
as for synthetic blood substitutes - that was the plot at the end of the novel "I am legend" and the TV series "Ultraviolet".
as a concluder - Count Dukula was a vegetarian vampire (feeding off tomato and carrot juice as i recall)
"I was wondering if it was possible to be a vegetarian saguine vampire?"
- By definition, doesnt that defeat the purpose?
"I know that a psychic vampire can be even a vegan vampire."
- I fail to see how someone who claims to drain others of energy can be classed as a vampire.
"Since saguine vampires feed on blood, what then defines them on a vegetarian scale?"
- You are technially not eating meat, but i'm very sure that if you where a vegitarian the thought of biting through flesh would sicken you would it not?
"Vegetarian- defined as somebody not eating meat or fish: somebody who eats vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, and usually eggs and dairy products, but not meat or fish."
- In other words, Someone who could never be a proper old school vampire then? XD
Synthetic blood would not be real blood, so anyone consuming that could be still considered vegetarian. It would be similar to eating a garden burger as opposed to a hamburger.
As to meat V blood as the vegetarian definition...I side with Beastt. But on the plus side, you have a great future as an undead lawyer ;)
Vegetarian Vampyres? Hmmm.......well, I suppose synthetic blood would work. But I doubt it would have the same benefits as the real thing. Probably less tasty as well.
Random side note, rue 21 has a shirt thats all black with white and red lettering says Vegetarian Vampire on it.
Thought it was rather funny, it reminds me of this thread. Anyway there are natural substitues which can act as a stimuli for the pranic replacements. But they are generally difficult to make or hard to come by at certain times of the year. but for the energy flow within the liquid it draws off the energy quite nicely.
Needing food implies that a person needs nutrition. So what a person eats provides that energy, a person that claims to be a vampire
should have no need for foods energy.. so that should make the point mote. So why insist that a vampire can be a vegetarian? Someone identifing as a vampire got in a tiffy when it was mentioned "You claim to drink blood, and your a vegaterian." ?
Yet my dear Dabbler, would not a Vampire need the energy within the blood for nutrients to stable their self.
yet if going on the fictional case of vampiric tendiencies.
vegetarian vampire, I guess would be the healthy kind of person, jogging in the moonlight. lifting weights. yoga.
do not know a fasinatiing concept yet to me a new breed in cultral fashion.
I have heard of hymenoplasty, Rosho, but let's focus a little higher up. If I had a facelift it might make me look like I'm twenty, but I still wouldn't be twenty-years-old.
Hymens and virgins are not like vampires: we can't just say we're one and have it be so.
Well Im not quite sure but Im sure there are types of vampires there that are all sorts and different kinds, it mostly prop-bialy depends on your sire.
I have just recently stopped eating meat. Yes I need blood and crave it quite often. I usually get mine from a human donor as opposed to meat so for me it is not an issue. I don't have a lycan nature so I don't crave the flesh that meat offers. I have always found that human blood is more fulfilling than animal blood. So in my honest opinion it is very possible to be a vegetarian vampire. When no donor is present then animal blood will do. I still don't have to eat the meat to get the blood from it. You can get quarts of animal blood at your local butcher if you call in advance and let them know you will be needing it. :) I also feed on energy so usually I do alright. There are days when I feel weak and need to feed more than usual. I am learning how to fix this. :)
I'm very sure its been proven that humans cannot live on just blood.
Blood is a combination of Plasma, Red blood cells, White blood cells and blood platelets.
IF you where to live off blood, you would essentialy be taking your energy from the plasma, which in the total 2-3 liters contained in the normal human being holds around 8% protein, 90% water 0.9% inorganic Ions and 1.1 Organgic substances.
Males need about 54grams of protein, while females need 44 for a healthy diet.
From that, i am very sure there isnt a human being on this earth that could live souly on blood. And should that ever be the case, you would get bored of having the same taste :)
Vampireism is just a fiction and its shame people dont just keep it that way.
I am a VEGGIE.. and I am a vampire.. I don't eat meat and such merely because I can't. but wait I do drink blood, from my donor.. And its like heaven has hit me.. and Yet I still eat my regular foods, which is all organic, and purely no meat, and such.. So I say Yes, if I can find a balance so can you..
Best of luck,
ICE**
I realize this is as much opinion as anything else but I have to suggest that the two (vegetarian/vampire), are pretty much at odds. Certainly, one can look strictly to an absolute interpretation of the definition for "vegetarian" and claim that drinking blood doesn't violate the definition. But I think that's rather like looking at Adolf Hitler and saying he wasn't a murderous monster. Since he was in a position to create law, his killings weren't illegal, and therefore, technically, not murder. But c'mon. The same holds true (in my opinion), when it comes to claiming to be both a vampire because you drink blood, and a vegetarian because you don't eat meat, fish or poultry. Technically yes, but... it definitely goes against the vegetarian mindset, if it can be said that such a thing exists.
Beast,
I think that last post basically said it all on this account of vegitarian Vampires. an acpect in which my mind cannot fathom the two words Co inciting .
The two are only at odds if you try to make neat little boxes for everything. There are so many anamolies in life that cannot be explained. If you are not part of the community and I hate when people say "pop culture" because it is demeaning and meant that way, then you have no leg to stand on because it is nothing like you think. It is like me trying to discuss architecture. I might have a rudimentary understanding of their occupation but I wouldn't know the real nitty gritty of it unless I was actually doing the job.
Getting fiction mixed into the modern views of the vampire is counterproductive and I see causes arguments on this board and there are certain people on this thread that post all the time to do nothing more than make fun and snide remarks. Yes someone, anyone could prefer to eat vegetarian most of the time and still feel they need to drink blood.
They have always been a minority. It is the groups of people from the last 30 years or so that have divided the community by creating names of feeding styles and using them to mean types of vampires. I don't like that and never have but it gives a clearer picture when talking to someone else. They get a better idea of how one perceives their personal state of being or how you perceive it. I have never liked meat much but I am not a blood drinker really, so anyone who is not cannot reasonably speak for all those who are because they don't have the knowledge from experience. It's just pie in the sky opinion and nothing more.
Surveys that have been done show that most have many allergies to types of food as well as a high percentage have asthma. It is only in folklore and in fiction that you read about certain types of vampires and they are only vampires because someone said so in their book or a game like Vampire: The Masquerade. When I was a teen rpg didn't exist so when people bring that up I consider it pure ignorance. It could be a delusion and it might seem like an oxymoron to say one is a vegetarian vampire but it's not unheard of if you have actually interacted with the community but I would suspect most of them are not blood drinkers, but perhaps not all. Who cares it is just a topic of discussion and not a laborotory experiment to prove anything.
I have gone lacto-ovo before but never vegan and I came back to eating meat. I like meat and not particularly rare and blood substitutes are not the same. Drinking blood is little more than drinking liquid meat, except it is dead and the blood is not. If it is dead then I cannot see any benefit really; my opinion. It is living protein that is the draw. I am not saying that there are not some who drink blood especially from animals that don't have that quality anymore but it is direct from the donor I know that is the best circumstances as many of my friends have this inclination. I cannot speak of why the attraction as I am not a sanguine vampire and anything I would say about it would be anecdotal and for others that have no direct contact with the community; uninformed opinion.
Therefore, why not? If they are fictional or historical most likely not because most of those are revenants and actually dead and don't eat food anyway.
some vegetarians are that on the principal that they don't kill to eat, so if thats your principal then it should be ok to sang as long as you don't kill your prey!
Its not possible. We exisit as vampires for sustanance no matter how we get it. But a vegitarian vampire wouldn't be a vampire they would just be a vegitarian.
Go with what your gut tells you, only you can tell if something doesn't fit. If you would like a good mixed drink that has a close look of blood and you can get close amount of nutrients. Mix together 100% pure cranberry and pomegrante and add liquid vitamin. It is good and will give you a nice fill for atleast a few days.
Started with vegitarian vampires and have now go into science 101 with the big bang theory*theory*.
Saying that you do not believe in one does not tend that you would believ in the other, all planets are formed with the big bang theory. come on back on the subject at hand.
Could someone clarify the definition of vampire? At least the definition everyone is referring to for purposes of this question. It appears from the posts that the premise is the consumption of blood is required to be defined as a vampire-at least a sanguine vampire. How do you classify someone that has the desire/need to consume blood but forgoes it for whatever reason?
I would not classify anyone who drinks blood as a vegetarian whether they consume meat products or not. It just seems to fly in the face of the central philosophy of vegetarianism. I can't equate milk and eggs to blood. Milk and eggs are naturally produced by animals regardless of whether those products are consumed by humans. Blood is not yielded from a body in any similar fashion.
Vegetarian Vampire also could be one that doesn't feed period, and kills itself after a period of time?
If we look at it that way rosho, what a horrible death it would be.
A vegitarian turned to vampirism, and basically starves themself to death. an agony i am sure any writer would make extreme.
rosho:
Wouldn't that be more along the lines of an anorexic vampire?
A vegetarian vampire who thinks "I could have had a V8!" has a severe eating disorder.
How big is a jumbo-shrimp really? Perhaps that's indicative of how much of a vegetarian a vampire can be.
Oxy...
...
I have alot of family who is veagn and vegetarian. There is no possible way for them to be blood thirsty, since it is the disgust over bloodshed that has led them to this lifestyle. Yes, it is a lifestyle and has a belief system.
Watch the videos of the slaughterhouses and the way animals are treated.
Some of my family members don't even let their dogs eat meat....they make vegetarian dog food.
sure, certainly....just like vegan wolves, vegan lions, or any other vegan apex predator. LOL
~Wolf~
I think it would be called a vampire that doesn't eat anything. There are several people on earth who can survive with very little food. I've read somewhere there was someone who survived on nothing at all but air, doing a special yoga technique.
Ways vampires can be vegetarians that I can come up with from this forum:
Vampire needs to do is stop killing anything it feeds on, or get a donor, and classify blood as a different genre that meat.
Find an alternate energy source.
Blood is a specialized bodily fluid that delivers necessary substances to the body's cells — such as nutrients and oxygen — and transports waste products away from those same cells.
In vertebrates it is composed of blood cells suspended in a liquid called blood plasma. Plasma, which comprises 55% of blood fluid, is mostly water (90% by volume), and contains dissolved proteins, glucose, mineral ions, hormones, carbon dioxide (plasma being the main medium for excretory product transportation), platelets and blood cells themselves. The blood cells present in blood are mainly red blood cells (also called RBCs or erythrocytes) and white blood cells, including leukocytes and platelets (also called thrombocytes).
The most abundant cells in vertebrate blood are red blood cells. These contain hemoglobin, an iron-containing protein, which facilitates transportation of oxygen by reversibly binding to this respiratory gas and greatly increasing its solubility in blood. In contrast, carbon dioxide is almost entirely transported extracellularly dissolved in plasma as bicarbonate ion.
Vertebrate blood is bright red when its hemoglobin is oxygenated. Some animals, such as crustaceans and mollusks, use hemocyanin to carry oxygen, instead of hemoglobin. Insects and some molluscs use a fluid called hemolymph instead of blood, the difference being that hemolymph is not contained in a closed circulatory system. In most insects, this "blood" does not contain oxygen-carrying molecules such as hemoglobin because their bodies are small enough that their tracheal system suffices for supplying oxygen.
Jawed vertebrates have an adaptive immune system, based largely on white blood cells. White blood cells help to resist infections and parasites. Platelets are important in the clotting of blood.[1] Arthropods, using hemolymph, have hemocytes as part of their immune system.
Blood is circulated around the body through blood vessels by the pumping action of the heart. In animals having lungs, arterial blood carries oxygen from inhaled air to the tissues of the body, and venous blood carries carbon dioxide, a waste product of metabolism produced by cells, from the tissues to the lungs to be exhaled.
Unless you can get someone to bleed naturally, it can not happen. The only way to get human blood without penetrating is just disgusting....
No, vegan can not be sang.
Coz there are three categories of living life
one is pure vegan and not to use smelling stimulating food such as onion, much spices, garlic etc. This category called satvic person.
one do have taste of every thing but not to stimulating or charming level of taste, this called rajas person.
one go on eating extreme of taste to full of its joy it include non-veg, liquor, much spicey things, these called dark side person and fall in tamas category.
vegan if do consume non-veg or blood, it can not remain vegan it directly become dark side due to involvement of taste. non-veg may fall to rajas category with limited use per need, but blood not at all non veg food, its direct living being dark food of the vampires. Non-veg community too refuge it...
Hard Core Animal Rights Activist Don't even allow for Pets (Guide Dogs included.
See you brought out your idols, i like the peta commercial they banned from the superbowl better.
but this could be said about any group or factions in the world, and based on their beliefs.
they feel strongly towards what governs them, just peta has been in the spotlight for sometime now. whats next. vegetable activitst or scientist activist. we must have an open mind and understand the strong messages within each.
I'm often quite impressed with Penn and Teller. But in this particular instance, I can only suggest that it would be beneficial for them to actually do some objective research. This smacks of an attempt at main-stream appeal, but offers none of their usual evidence-based offerings. That's likely because the evidence runs contrary to the opinion they wish to voice.
A few of their shows they flinched after making, this is one they grimaced at. Factions in PETA have spin down good. Are they non- profit beast, are you familiar with the ALF?
I agree this is their low moments, but a few points raise scrutiny.
That's a really good question. As a sanguine blood comes from living organisms, so I would think not. But They are working on synthetic alternatives so theoreticly if a vegitarian were to be turned then at that point maybe. But pure bloods I would say no.
My only response to questions will be this one. NO one fits into any mold as far as those who are vampirics in the subculture. Some love the sun and sunbathing, others and many others don't. A high percentage are night people but some aren't. There are always exceptions and why...who knows and who cares. Many have auto immune problems, organ problems and nervous system problems, asthma from what surveys showed. Many are allergic to a lot of food products. Moving on now.
Since I worked with the autistic here are some of the brain they are trying to understand:
Minor physical anomalies (MPAs) are relatively minor (typically painless and, in themselves, harmless) congenital physical abnormalities consisting of features such as low-seated ears, adherent ear lobes, and a furrowed tongue. While MPAs may have a genetic basis, they might also be caused by factors in the fetal environment: anoxia, bleeding, or infection. MPAs have been linked to disorders of pregnancy and are thought by some to be a marker for insults to the fetal neural development towards the end of the first trimester. Thus, in the neurodevelopmental literature, they are seen as indirect indications of inferferences with brain development. In studies of children and adolescents with conduct problems, such markers have been linked to some extent to impulsivity and aggressiveness.

Flexitarians or Semi-vegetarians do eat meat on occasion but maintain a somewhat vegetarian diet for the most part.
"Blood is a complex, living tissue that contains many cell types and proteins. A transporter, regulator, and defender, blood courses through the body carrying out many important functions."
http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/content/begin/traits/blood/
I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian and one of my daughters was a Vegan. I was involved in that in the 70s but found it wasn't a good fit for me. I also ran a Health Spa and am not under educated in this area but prefer to eat meat. Probably because I was raised as a meat eater and other reasons I don't wish to explain.
When speaking of people (as opposed to supposed vampires), surely some can survive on far less food than others. But the average metabolism yields a basal metabolic caloric rate of between 1200 and 1800 calories per day. Consume less than that and even if you're completely sedentary, you'll continue to lose weight. That's a progression which can persist only for a finite period.
As far as PeTA and ALF, I'm familiar with both, though more with PeTA. An attempt to visit ALF's site shows a warning from Google, claiming that the site attempted to upload malicious software to their computers, followed by a count of 0 malicious applications loaded. It smacks of an attempt to discourage visitation to the site, while not being completely dishonest.
Google's information (disinformation?), goes on to state that the site does not appear to act as an intermediary and has not offered such appearance for the past 90-days. It further states that the site has not hosted malicious software for the past 90-days, and makes no statement showing that it ever did. Still, it strongly discourages all attempts to visit ALFs page. Unless Google can adequately back the information, it would be nice to see a few million of Google's money transferred to ALF's attempts to bring relief to millions of suffering sentient beings.
I dont believe it would be probable or possible for a Vampire to be a vegetarian. If a Vampire did try i believe he would perish.
Faceless, I watched a Wife Swap in which ine of the mom's ate very little. She would go out and do what she called "sun-gazing." Aside from being overly militant in her child rearing she seemed quite healthy. Who knows about her eyes though....
Everything seems to be a craze? vegeterain vampire has gone from the post to quantam physics to sum bathing?
yes people do ration their eating latley i have noticed. i eat twice aday, salad at lunch and a 4 oz steak or noodles at night. yet what does thi have to do with vegeterian vampires.
Do i think there is such a thing, no have gone over this post and read alot of good info on both sides, yet to me the life style of the person is theirs, eating habits or what, and if they potray themselves as fantasy or vampiric is their lifestyle. this is it. not for me to tear them apart.
but would like to hear more inlightning ideas on this subject.
If by vegan vampirism you refer as Synthetic blood consumers i would say it could be possible, if we found many ways to cure various deadly viruses and discover the atom, or even made the computer your typing, i believe there could be a scientific approach about doing a synthetic blood more or less like the TruBlood series, if there is real vampires out there and more than a million to put a number, don’t you think they would be many of us humans missing every week?.. or don’t you think that if a real vampire has a donor, don’t you think the donor will tell her best friend and so on?... i think it would be already discovery that real vampire exist if it was by that ways, it has to be some sort of weird shit where vampire harvest human clones to survive or made a equivalent substance like blood as an alternative way of surviving, we may never know since there is no longer evidence of weird attacks on humans since the ancient times stories where all the lore leaked the vampires tendencies and weakness. Then again if you come to think about it, if real vampires do exist, and have the alternative ways of getting energy they keep hiding for the fear of our reactions not because they are no longer a threat to us I believe, we might be a small group who would’ve understand this; but people are dumb and close minded out there, and they have to keep the mystery to their own.
On the other hand if by vegetarian/ vampire you meant blood drinker and vegetable consumer, it sounds like a vegetarian human acting as a vampire lifestyle...I don’t think u will need to recur on other organic ways of subtend if your natural class makes you, what you are. Like someone said up here that you can’t make a lion or shark eat veggies, it just won’t happen, that’s why they have the sharp teeth and tools to hunt their ways, that’s why we humans are omnivorous we have some little incisors and we have molars is our anatomical entity, as same as why vampire have fangs and special abilities, for the hunting not only on humans but on everything they can, if its all a lore then whoever did it is a genius because they nailed it with the characteristics, and genius don’t come in the store, there is to many lore of things we don’t know today, on each culture had their similar story of attacks related to a creature such as a vampire long before there were communications lines that could pass the idea or stories, even in the new world we have stories of natives vampire-like creatures, there aren’t as many as in the old world because there were only a small group in this side but that’s a whole other story.
If you grow “fangy molars” then hahaha you tell me I will be happy to say I was wrong.
No such thing.
Sanguine means blood. And they sure as hell don't make soy blood.
It is rather amusing to hear people speculate about vsmpires consuming blood as if they are confident vampires exist in some complex esoteric way, then they turn around and rule out imaginative speculation.
A: Vampires don't exist.
B: People who profess to be vampires have offered no supportive documentation, or demonstration to convince those who place vampires in a mythological context.
C:Even in lore/fiction it would be stretching things to have a vegaterian vampire.
and dabbler didst say
"A: Vampires don't exist.
B: People who profess to be vampires have offered no supportive documentation, or demonstration to convince those who place vampires in a mythological context.
C:Even in lore/fiction it would be stretching things to have a vegaterian vampire. "
as a scientist of sorts, may i say instead
A. it is improbable (altho not impossible) that vampires exist
B. People who profess to be vampires have offered no supportive documentation, or demonstration to convince those who place vampires in a mythological context (as far as we know).
C:Even in lore/fiction the idea of a "vegaterian vampire " is bullshite.

Dabbler,
Hahaha if i were a vampire i would've love to play with your head and see your next post opposing your last comment or eating $%^& LOLX
Wait, what the existence of vampires? Everything is possible, if it’s a possibility rather than improbable statistically there is more than 50% that it does exist because you don’t have proof that it exist, but you also don’t have proof that it doesn’t; there is your first 50%. Now there is an element your missing here, if you don’t have documentation or proof it doesn’t mean it’s not there, I can think that you believe in dinosaurs, that people tell you about bones and fossils and there existence aren’t even written anywhere, nobody ever seen one alive either and don’t we all buy it because some scientist said it and we repeat it, people believe in Jesus powers and all stories of miracles, have you seen Jesus other than books and descriptions? Then why we have so many books, lore’s, sightings, attacks report, native stories and ideas of a creature-like thing such as a vampire in every corner of the planet than we have of Jesus written hundreds of years after his death? What if I tell you aliens live 100 miles beneath the ocean and have a city, it is possible, you haven’t been there to know, then you can’t say for certain is not there. Just because you don’t understand the degree of something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, you know what electricity is, but you really don’t know, you just know it can be used to produce light and you can burn food, and type in here, but there is more to that than its function, Biology has many wonders, get your hands on a book of mutation, evolution and natural selection and you will understand a little more about how animals and insects evolve and you will see that is a possibility that vampire-like creatures might exist even if it is improbable to the light of the day, along with many of the thing the government hides from the general public.
