i met a lady in a taxi cab (yes I know taxi cabs arent normal places to meet these kinds of people)... she was driving it...

I didnt feel too good when I got into the cab. She started talking to me when we were driving and after we stopped for me to get out, I said to her "thanks for talking to me I feel much better".

I was about to get out, when she said "I wasnt just talking to you, you know". I was like "whatttt".. She said "I was also healing you, with my mind, its a gift I have had in a long time".

Suddenly I thought I knew her. I asked her "do I know you". She said "I think we do know one another, and you have been searching for this for a long time and so have I"

I kind of knew what she was talking about (plus I am only 19 so a long time is... well not very long for me but she is about 60)
She then asked me if I believed in life after death. I said yes.

She told me that sometimes lives get passed over and we meet the same people but with different bodies. I kind of knew what she was talking about again.. I nodded and said yes I do know you.

Then I got an urge to touch her hand, so I did. I got a flashback of her drowning and burning feeling in my throat like I had no air. I then knew that when she died once she was drowned and I was there.

She told me that she thought she was a witch and always has been. That she was drowned when the trials were going on and asked me if I saw anything like that when I closed my eyes.

I told her that is what I saw.

I thought to myself then, that last time I knew her she was a man, I was in love with him/her and I lost him/her.

I felt deep sadness and relief then to figure that i found her/him again.

This must seem all very strange I know but this is all very very true. It has changed my life.

I took her number and told her we should get in touch.

Ever since then I have been dreaming about him/her... I cannot stop thinking about her.

And also, ever since I was young I have thought I was a lot lot older than I am. Now I know it could be true and I am probably right.

I feel like I am thousands of years old. Always have felt like it. I also have always felt like im supposed to be finding something. Now i kind of feel like I have found some of it.

i actually understand what you are talking about and it's happened to me a lot. it feels wierd the first time, but as time passes it will become the norm

I belive strongly in life after death because i get weird like first person flashbacks of a life i am not living now and they couldnt be dreams because theyre allways connected.

whoa... if that happened 2 me.. i wouldn't know wat 2 say.. it hasn't happened 2 me yet.. and prob never will. but dam man.. wern't u scared that it came bak into another body or watever? hmm... i do believe u.. but i would hav 2 c it aswel.

Why would such things be strange to you. Many belief systems have some form of life after death or reincarnations.
I just try and accept things that I feel as best I can.
Perhaps I am yet a Seeker still but sooner or later will find out one way or another. Just have to wonder if I will ever remember.

for me life after death is all about your life force, all of that power need to go some where. i like to think we all return to the earth to heal and to be reused again.

I have had the same feeling of feeling older all my life,still searching for someone but not sure where to look.Lucky you finally met him/her again...

I think it is awesome when people have those experiences.. When I had my first one was when I found the lady who is my teacher now and the man who I loved deeply until I betrayed him like I did the last time we were together, but then... he was my father and my teacher my mother... And honestly if you put us three together I look like both of them... But those things are awesome, but when you replay it, it hurts worse I do believe.

I believe in life after death because I sometimes get very weird, unexplainable flashback, but everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

look, i know that a lot of people don't believe that this happens all the time. but the truth is it really does.

I had a few experences similar to that, but not exactly like it, but yes i did have one with an old boyfriend who was my wife at one time and life was easier and simpler then, his soul shined just like it back then, but it's brighter now, him and i had only a brief relationship cuz he was murdered ... him and i will meet up again, i know it, i can feel it, that we will.

I am a believer in reincarnation.....but normally all memory of prior lives is purged so as not to interfere with the lessons in this life....yet in many cases the mental purging seems to be incomplete in that there is some bleeding of prior memory into the current

I too, know how you are feeling, though it has only happened to me a few times. You meet someone and instantly have that connection where you feel like you've known each other forever. Reincarnation is an amazing thing.

I strongly believe in life after death. It's so certain for me like knowing that the Sun is going to come up the next day. I never had such an obvious experiance, but i know that some people in my life have been there before, in more than one. We don't just relate and connect to each other, sometimes so strongly, soully for commun interests or by coincidence. I believe we all are linked to everybody, in different ways, but we are.
One exemple that makes sense to me, is that situation when you automatically like, or dislike someone, just by looking at him/her. Or that other situation that you tend to repeat, and you know exactly what's going to happen, or atleast have a feeling. Even if it's a new situation. And you know, or sense the outcome, because you already did it. Might be a collective memmory issue, but that doesen't explain it enough for me. As far as science is concerned, let's just say that when the Wright Brothers said that they could build a machine that could fly, the whole scientific community laughed at them...

There is no life after death in my opinion. Saying there is just calms your nerves and rests your mind, its a belief just like every single fucking religion, a crutch.
As for the seeing people and feeling like you know them and stuff, its either you've seen them and you don't know it, genetic memory like Mindwalker said before, your playing tricks on yourself or you're straight fucking stupid.

Now consider this: What if this is where people go after they die in another dimension and why u feel like u know someone is because u did in another dimension

The chance of our souls and memories crossing over from dimension to dimension is completely possible and much more believable than reincarnation and heaven

there are times i see thing in others eyes almost as if flash backs, but there is nothing after death. but then again thats just my opinion

I think it completely sux that we lose our past memories! I mean, if we just get reborn again to forget it all, what is the freaking point? Or is that it? That there is no point and that one can never escape the cycle. What a sad, torturing eternity.

i believe in something after death and your story was good but if i thought about it then that would take all the fun out of why am i here and what for why hasnt a passed friend come back and told me when i am going to die

I unfortunately lost my job today as well. but thats another story!!

I will also call that lady up one time. but im kind of scared to as I dont ACTUALLY know her in this life. and wouldnt it be weird lol....!?

I wouldnt call my experience life after death...cause damn it..I keep re living the same life over...I can account for at least 6 re tries..and everytime I get that deja vu feeling...I snap and say.."son of..... I did it again!!"

In other words,just as you think you can move ahead,BAM...rewind life...start over

In my everyone has a perspective view of what life & death are, as in everything common society builds up a definition onto which everyone makes up his/her own mind, I'm open to believing in "life" after "death" or vice versa whatever... but of course experiences like you've had certainly have an impact apon your thoughts & believes, what interesting that this your experinced involved much more then that, for example past-life memories.

Being that many eastern religions beliefs are based on this life after death , I hope so.
I myself have seen to much in this life to think other wise. Just like WHITE GIRL i'm not afraid to go. It's just a transformation period to another place. I feel like our life force must go somewhere. We are all made up of energy right. So what's to say we don't recycle to another form. We will understand when it's all over for sure.

They say that sense of Deja Vu is actually feelings from a past life, I for one believe strongly in past lives, my mother was very psychic and said i was an old soul and had been here many times before...it seems my intuition has always been to advanced for someone my age.

Life after death is as improbable as sex after marriage.

i believe our souls are born again and again,, life and circumstances change along the way, allowing us to grow and perfect ourslves as much as possible.
i think ur taxi driver experience is a small but life changeing experience and something to be grateful for,as are all experiences good and bad,, live and learn they say:)

Hell, everything seems possible. The only thing that really bothers me when people use the phrase, 'There must be a logical explanation" Logic has been defined, put into almost a state of Law. If it is outside Logic, it is evil or the person is insane.
It's stories like these that reassure me that people of soul and spirit still recognise what they are and are comfortable with it.
