I think it could be a combination of alot of things. It could be an attack through an astral plane. A demonic attack succubi/incubi (sp?). Or it could be craziness. Sometimes certain medications cause one to have very strange dreams as well!

So what’s the remedy for an incubus or succubus attack? Should victims go to a medical doctor for relief from sleep paralysis? Should they seek counseling from a psychotherapist or psychiatrist if the experiences are the result of some childhood trauma?

It could happen from any of the sourses you mentioned, and few more...So it would depend on what type of experience they had encountered...As to what type of treatment if any would be needed...

Well we all sex dreams, and males at least have wet dreams in their adolescence. Also sleep paralysis is a proven phenomenon. Perhaps its a mixture of the two.

i don't know what it could actually be i would say demons i do know that if u want to keep demons out a good thing is White Sage it is used for cleansing a house, bringing wisdom and getting rid of demons you burn the leaf as is and walk around the house as it smolders no flames u will have to relight it a few times

On occasion, when asked to, I have astral traveled to have sexual encounters with certian wanting females...It can get quite intense...I don't consider myself a demon...It can be from many sourses...

Medically speaking how can it be determined if it was of supernatural nature. As far sexual acts by these identities it can’t be explain. It may be self inflicted, truly raped with a denial and so blame the unknown, or supernatural nature.

I do believe that most of them were medical "unbalanced"... but, for a very small percentage, medicine could not give an answer, and some of them are still a mistery..

it's possible to be supernatural because mayb epoepl have these expeierences but never come forward for fear that they themselves are "screwed up" so i believe it maybe paranormal then again something my be wrong with the body...

I belive that there is a wide virities of things some belive they were attacked and others might say it for attention. So in my conclusion there are many different ppl out there so there will be differnt attacks and reports.

Hey, since I can't reply in the forum i thought I'd send you message. You were posting about nocturnal sexual experiences. Sometime it is called a Hag attack. I did a paper on it for my folklore class at the university. It involves paralysis, the feeling of a presence either sitting or laying over the person's body, some times shortness of breath and sometimes sexual activity. There is actually a lot of folklore about this experience that has been collected in Nova Scotia. There they believe that either someone has sent a spirit to terrorize a person because of some wrong that has been to the conjurer by the intended victim. Another belief is that it is the fetch of a sexually frustrated suitor sent to the object of their obsession. Anyways sorry about the rambling.

Should you get psychiatric help if you're "attacked" in the night by some kind of sexual entity? Well...I guess it depends on how disturbing or disruptive you'd find this experience to be. If it's a frequent happening, then you probably have some kind of sleep disorder that's sapping your energy. I'd get professional help. Sleep disorders can sometimes cause seizures if they become severe, and seizures are always dangerous. But if this is a rare occurrence, then it depends on whether or not you're freaked out by it. You MIGHT be reliving some kind of sexual trauma from your childhood. But please don't get hooked up with one of those fraudulent hypnotic regression "therapists" who will try to make you believe that every relative you have molested you when you were a child. If the experiences don't freak you out, then why bother with therapy? Some people enjoy unusual sleep experiences, and that's fine as long as they don't become obsessed with them.

medical, way more towards the mental side, the brain is capable of some amazing & crazy things!

the mind is a complext organ, it makes you think your seeing things or feeling things that are truely not there..its hard to decern what is truly happening when it comes to our minds..
i wont say either way because you cant prove it to be true or not..just like God..no one has seen him or such but everyone believes hes there (in one form or another)

I'm sure they're all possibilities. Some are hallucinating, some actually experience it. I know of at least two psych conditions that can induce that kind of experience. But I also believe it can happen for real.

I have to say that this thread really brings up a lot of good Arguements, though I would have to agree that it could be both. But I also feel that some of the women who say it was a demonic presence, are really too scared or embarassed to say that their partner may have been the actual guitly party

i know of people who imagine sex acts and then believe that they were attacked by some ghost or something. i honestly can say that ghosts and spirits (entities) can attack people in many ways. why not sexual too? i believe it is possible but i also know there are many mental people out there...

I've never heard of anything of a sexual nature, though some girls I know, well two, have reported a few things. My best friend, Kathi, reported being unable to move when she was laying in the bed with the covers at the waist and suddenly the covers moved up to her shoulders before she could move again. i have never seen an attack like this before but i have heard of them there supossed to be very physical and emotional

I believe that it is a mixture of both. And not only could it be the two choices u have given, but people lie to get attention, thus many of them could be fibbing to us to to either get attention, or to try and get us to believe in this subject for purposes unknown.

I ment to add this along with my other response, but some of them could be telling such things to us for our sympathy, to make the other person believe that they were harmed.

who's to say that asmodeus or enlil or marchosias, or dagon would want these people, but I wont dive into that one. They may ...if for example the person meddled ...or did something to attract , then repented, or was trying to bounce around religions...thinking they could play all sides...etc.
In the astral it could even be a very powerful live living human...the soul is quite powerful.
Mental it could be as well. A mind can cause many things to seem very 3d. Self inflicted, a past trauma that continues to manifest in the outward-physical realm.
