The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

As of late, with many things swirling in my head, I've come across more clues and 'rites of passage' as it were to what exactly I am.

A few of you have wished me well, but I'd like to pass this on to the general 'vampire public at large,' as it were.

Dreams of flight, being swept away by an unknown force-- these have been prevalent(sp?) as of late.

Let's see if anyone else has had such things happening to them as well-- as I've been noticing more and more vampiric 'forces,' at least in my area.

The Crows and Blackbirds that have been darting around my workplace as of late have passed. The many vultures appearing here and there, letting me know that certain things will be nit-picking me bit by bit till I 'transform' into my new, official role at work and in the world.

A few small, baby frogs have appeared, letting me know to take things in stride and when I'm read to 'grow,' move along the lines a bit to do so. Also, that little things will start to pop into place, and that I need to give them time to 'wiggle about' and find their niche as I change as well.

The moon seems brighter, the sun more bothersome-- good thing I'll be working mostly indoors for a good while now, at least. I'll be able to get my 'moon tan' back.

So, in turn, I pose this question to you-- have you been noticing little 'dream fragments' and manifestations too, as of late?

I have had dreams of flying.

I have had dreams about crows lately. And I've seen 4 crows around the house here lately.

Been having dreams of cats. And lately a small female cardinal has been hanging around my front porch and sometimes flies around me when I'm sitting on the bench there. No she doesn't have a nest there. Very strange.

My dreams of late are a long hallway with many doors and windows.

I see and hear a particular mockingbird every day at my house.

This has ben a very good start-- mostly birds and flying dreams.

Has anyone had correlations with their different happenings and things in every day life? (work, school happenings, etc?)

I have crows near me now and since I was a child. They always seem near and in my immediate vision. It is in it's own way comforting.

I dream of darkness and oppressing sadness, of my dead grandmother comforting for a great loss and of large gray stones falling. As if the a mountain had exploded.
The most horrifying thing is the darkness, I'm terrified of it.

I usually have nightmares about demons coming for me. Might be off track here on the dreams though. Friends and family getting killed etc in my dreams even myself. Its just really weird lately the dreams.

I dreamt once that I got up to go to work, and when I arrived something new was going to happen. I have in the days up to the the dream been noticing how my boss have been watching my every move.

The day after the dream occured, I was call in to a meeting with the company owner and my boss. I turned out we had a new major client, and I would be the person in charge of the assigment, which is new, because I have only been there for 8 months or so.

I fly often too. It is a good thing. But I have not flown in a while.

i dream but my dreams leave me as soon as i wake up, for im too afraid of seeing more dasavu's in real life from my dreams

Unfortunately I very rarely remember my dreams now, but as a child there were many strange things that used to happen from my dreams, dejavu's, dopplegangers of people I would meet and never met before would come to me at night.
I also once saw my friends death in my dreams and sure enough he diued in a house fire the next week. I never could tell him as I thought it was just a dream.

I also had a dream about 9/11 before it happened.

That was the last time anything from my dreams happened in real life.

I also foretold in my dreams the Hillsborough stadium disaster and the Herald of Free Enterprise disaster.

I very rarely remember my dreams either. I remember the feeling I have gotten from them but not the actual dream. However, they have been coming to me in bits and peices i just can't put them together yet.

I too have noticed the brighter moons and the sun becoming more bothersome. However, the sun has been bothersome to me for quite some time and I do know why it has gotten worse.

About twice a week or more, I get that hallway dream and trying to find a way out and have a feeling something is on the other side of those doors...

I also have that recurring dream that is on my profile - I go through that dream every month and always to the same end...

This week also dreams of a forest and running stag, just glimpses of it though.

I did myself have a dream of late, I had black feathery wings and then they became bat wings. I know what you're talking about. I have noticed a change in the vampiric forces around MY area as well. I know I am not crazy now.

Seeing blackbirds around you more than normal according to Native Americans is a sign that something has ended or coming to sn end....

i have had dreams of the black bird lots of them just flying all over my home freaky dreams

Sleep was peaceful last night, a lot better than I had hoped.

This morning I was reading aloud to my mother some things in my training manual. SHe said I seemed very enthusiastic.

There is this BEAUTIFUL hawk that lives in our neighborhood.

As soon as I got to a good part in the manual, mom remarked that 'my hawk' had touched down to the earth near the screen and was digging at the ground. After a little digging s/he remarked 'eureka!' in hawk having found a
bit of something to eat, I guess.

Ginger (our dog) scared it off before I could get cose enough to say hello. However just as it spread its wings, it looked me right in the eye and flew off.

what are you stating is quite similar to my expierence right now.. it conforts me as it means that i am not alone.... i shall share it here fore you...

I had always felt tired, lacked of energy sort of, yet lately i was slleeping a lot, about 12 hours daily,,, and during my sleep strange dreams would pass over me... swrlings of people around me, some death, while others dear to me....

the sun began to drain my energy and i began to see things from a different perspective, i became less impulsive and more contemplative....

i began to understand what others are thinking, the reson of their actions....

i dont see a lot of signs from nature but more from people, and also from the spirit world, as my dear fatehr came back not only in my dreams to guide me, bt i feel him storking my hair at night... along with other late realtives...

for me it is a time of confusion, but alo a time of renewal, for i know that i am becoming whom i am really....

Lately, I keep having this reoccuring dream of a very tall man following me, but I don't know why and I never can figure out who he is, I just know it is a man.... in the same dream there are usually visions of bats and/or some kind of flying birds.

I'm thinkig something good-- a moment of absolute strength, even. We'll see.

I have been noticing a lot more black birds of some description wherever I go. my cat who's been with me for 6 years ran out the door about 4 weeks ago and I've seen no trace of her since. My dreams have become more peaceful -- I see a friend in my dreams who has been a source of comfort and strength in waking life to me. My current job has come to an end; the job I thought I was getting has fallen through; I am waiting to hear from a job I really want. There has been a move from spiritual upheaval and turmoil to calm and peace. I sense changes on the horizon, but as to what they are and when they will materialize, I will have to wait and see.

Many, many things seem to be in a sort of limbo at the momnet-- not exactly frozen in time, but balancing back and forth between turmoil and peace.

Not so many signs as of late-- just a lot of storms because of the season.

However, I'm guilt of enjoying a fortune cookie or two: "You can stop looking forever. Happiness is sitting right next to you."

Which I find rather funny... because that night I got a kiss from someone I wasn't expecting it from.

I have had dreams of flying, the ones I can remember anyways. Also, when I go out blackbirds seem to hang around my vehicle alot, the other day a bird didn't even wait for me to get out. It just stood there and watched me.

This may not be along the lines of what you were looking for; if not, then feel free to let me know. But it seems to me your dreams are telling you that you have left where you were and have not yet arrived at your next destination. It seems, from what you said, that you have left where you were, either physically or emotionally or spiritually, and are not meant to return. But you have not yet arrived at the next destination on your path. Your dreams are going back and forth between turmoil and peace as your inner self, your spirit, is going through these growing pains and making the adjustment from where you were to where you will be. In time, as you become accustomed to the growth you have gone through, things will settle down and lean more toward the peaceful side. At least until the next gorwth spurt :). This is what my mentors have told me about my dreams. I hope it helps.

Update: She (the bird) does have a nest in my fern plant now...and it has tiny eggs.

sry i can only say that i have had dreams of flying nothing more but in my dreams i have had black birds with me

The electric is being forced on so they can keep the apartment, I'm doing my best to do what I have to do to, well, keep sane at this point, ha.

Dreams are so subjective and personal one could spend hours debating their meaning....typically dreams of flying mean something you're trying to escape in your waking life....they also could mean you're having OOB's while sleeping....in my own life though I've noticed when I'm worrying about something or some problem I'll be flyin' around like crazy.... but ya know, they seem so real, makes me wonder :o)

A lot of things have come to a head as of late.

I can't say that I've ever had any positive dreams, but yes, I have had dreams where a sense of control of the situation has been lost, a few come together at once, then weeks, sometimes months of none at all.

Mostly I become lucid and start to exert influence over their direction by the time I wake up.

I used to have this weird recurring one as a teen, it's so cliche, but I used to dream of being chased by vampire women, with black hair and evil eyes, but not in a fun way either. I put this down to some kind of complex over committing to relationships...lol

I recently acquired a new set of Tarot cards-- oddly enough at an Anime convention here in town.

They've yet to be wrong to me.

No more crows or ravens as of late-- as i've found a rather delicately painted triskele of three of them, representing the Morrigan, an old patron goddess of mine.

I've also taken the Apple to heart more, Aphrodite having been lacking in my life, as well as Eris and my wand, aptly an Apple wand, as well.

We'll see what happens.

i had a dream the other night i ran and jumped out my window and tured into a bunch of ravens and flew off i wonder what that could mean?

my drams as of late have been a little crazy although the other night I was over the ocean and feeling pulled toward the other side... as fore things in my regular life the last three month have been bad and it seems every time there is a large lightning storm it seems to coenside with one or more of those bad things..one death one almost death an arrest of a loved one and my parents house getting damaged. There have been a bluejay and some starlings around and they often land on my fire excape and sit for a while before leaving. I don't know what it means but I'm hoping for no more lightning

i have had alot of the same dreams a s most of u have described .thourgh years of trail and erour i have learned to fce and in some chases change differnt aspects of my dreams .sometimes for good sometime s for darker reasons. but i sleep alot and feel drained in the day time as well.

I havent noticed any birds as of yet, but I will keep a lookout for them.

As for the dream, almost all of my dreams are me flying in some forsakken place.
i am always trying to get somewhere, but I never get there. I always wake up. But my dreams, they are usually at night and foggy.

I think things like this hit us all at different times. I've had vivid uncontrollable dreams ironically since I tried lucid dreaming at age 9. Never had a flying dream, but have had dreams where the feelings last even after I've been awake for a couple of minutes and the dreams themselves remain in my mind. Ravens and black birds have always surrounded me, and daylight is so painful I have had my mom walk me to the car with my eyes covered!

I have dreams that I'm swimming in a pool in pitch black. I get out to jump in and I land and I'm in a pool of blood.

Most of my dreams I don't remember. There are some which, I think I am not suppose to.

I have a very deep fear, and I do live out that fear, occasionally.

I have had dreams of Ravens and crows. here of late They have been all over our property (live in counrty) My dad even made a statement as too why are there so many around , it is very strange... I do not feel so weird now that I know I am not the only one is has happened to.

Very interesting. I to have been having something along those lines happening to Me. The only question is, how long does the road go before you reach that next intersection

I have dreams of flying often.........it feels wonderful and terrifying at the same time, but I feel so free in the dream; and then *sighs* I wake up.

If you want me to come out and say it, I do notice things around me, therefore I lable myself as such. On the other hand, half of the things others claim to go through is just alien to me. Why? This isn't a big deal. We aren't going to up and fly one day. They are dreams. Ask your 85 year old neighbor down the street, that has never watched a scary (or vampire) movie in their life, and they will spin some crazy stories of the dreams of their life.

I too have had dreams of flight... I am never quite sure of what they are after I wake. But I know that I have been flying in one way or another once I have woken. Something is coming, that is all that I can tell. But is it a good thing or a bad thing?
