i know most people who practice various things have power tools , i know i use my familare and my cards and my stones and herbs are my power tools, also i have been in search for a old book that i have seen in my dreams for years i know it will help with spells but i dont know the name of it or what it holds ,

what would you consider for your self a poor tool or something you have been searching for

Mine is not an object but a place. It is in the woods..... I am searching for it but no success but I feel I am getting close...

I have my ritual tools. Dagger, chalice, stones, herbs, candles, etc. I think that in need however a person can use anything in nature. It isnt the tool that makes the ritual, it is the person and the worship that they are having. :)

I make all my tools, i think it give more power too them, and i have severl things im searching for, one is a wooden box, i know itrs buried near my home, but have never found it

Ah, the things I could do with a mitre saw. lol. My BOS of course! Which reminds me, need to update it.

The title of this thread made me think of power saws and electric drills... all the magic i can do with those items, like draw blood and create new things (and sometimes hideous creations)...

truth be told my rocks can be of great assistance in grounding me :)

I'm just beginning working with spirituality and power. However I feel most connected with my tarot cards. I use the thoth deck. I'm looking for a wooden box and a cloth to wrap my cards in to enhance the feeling of connection between me and my cards. A power or a vision tool can be anything as long as you feel a connection to it.

If I cannot get to my special spot on a beach or under a tree, then sometimes use my imagination or a candle or stone that means something to me.

oh good point neodragon, songs didnt even cross my mind when i first answered this thread... its a great way to set a calming ambience and drown away outside noises.

My "dream" was of a place over 1100 miles from my original home. I walked the road, saw the faces in my dream... and it all came to pass. i am here. i walked that road (yrs ago) saw the same sites on it. met those people....
that was my journey.....and it was a hard one. I hope it was meant to be the beginning and not the end.

I bought a silver pendulum, but I haven't tried to devine with it yet because I don't feel that I know enough to use it properly.

Stones. I can be walking along a certain stone will catch my eye. I will carry it a few days to give me a feeling of peace. When the power is used up or, I just do not need it's help,I put it back in nature to recharge.

And here I thought we were going to discuss Black & Decker, Dewalt and Craftsman...

...nothing beats an 18V cordless with a 3/4" paddle bit for really getting into someone's head and finding out what's on their mind...

I suggest if you want spell sthat seriously work...I'm not saying that anyother thing doesn't work but what I'm saying is that the necronimicon has worked miracles for me

There are specific tools that I have dedicated for specific purposes. I find that it helps, me mostly, to meditate and visualize what I wish to accomplish before attempting things.

I have all the normal items. But I strongly believe in location! You have to be comfortable where you work. Privacy is also an issue. I am looking for that special place.

Any tool that you chose. Whether it be a physical tool, spiritual, or even a place . . . . it doesn't matter as long as it works for YOU. Every creature is different and we all do and need different things to complish what we are doing. Look a little deeper inside your self and mind, and find what is best for you.

I find that crystals are lovely power tools. They must be cleansed before you use them for yourself.

Your source of power can be anything or anyplace my friend. I use crystals and my alter as a place for my magicks.It is whatever works best for that person.And whatever particular magicks one is doing.

Sometimes we come across these "power tools" and not even really know it. It could be anything around you that helps ground you in a way that helps your mind open up.

Power tools help but are not required to perform a spellcasting only a strong will and intent. I use my athame frequently to help me direct energy, candles of the appropriate colors dressed with oils that have the proper Magickal qualities, the correct phase of the moon or daylight depending on what the ritual is for. Power tools are usd for big productions. On the spur of the moment a quickly thought ought spell is performed.

i have no actual tools all i have is my mind ,my dreams, and the small voice with in my head. ill some years ago i use to dream the same dream and it took a while because it lasted around 9 years always this dream.
it's a about the house i live in it's a 380 year old house. and my dream always sow this house with my ancisters in it. this house was of my family for ages and it will be for a long time i hope.in y dream i was always in search for this caller which my father and rand didn't know about it and i always dreamed about it. till a few years back when we where dong some repairs at home and found this caller and in it there was a whole story about our past and tools my gran gran use to use. i also tend to dream about things to happen in the future and i would be reading a like a news.

since bing in tn i have found a special tea set i want to use to read herbs i ihope to use it as a good tool later on
