Hi folks! Please don't get upset with me if I don't answer messages immediately. As I've stated to some of you before, my net speed here is beyond slow. We're talking sub-28.8 speed. It sometimes takes over a minute for the message page to load up for me and longer than that for the forums and other pages. Please don't consider me rude if I don't get right back to you. I'm clicking as fast as technology will let me. Thanks for your patience. - J

Thanks Nara. ;-) As for my connection..well, it's like this...the signal goes from the ship, to a satellite, to the States, back up the sat, back down to the ship. We are only allocated so much bandwidth and it's not much because we share the total with several other ships. So, no amount of technowizardry can help me, I'm afraid. But thanks for the offer! I'm just fortunate to be able to do this while at sea.

I have cable in the States, and will be quite glad to get back to it, soon. As for now, I'm at the mercy of whatever thechnology the company decides to use for internet connectivity. The cost and physical logistics of maintaining a 3000 nautical mile cable to the ship from the East Coast is a might high, I would think. Nope just not feasable. It might get wrapped around an island or something...

...or vamp pirate ship... not that I was coming to visit--ha.

Again, as long as every so often I've got a nice long post to read and 'waste my time on,' as it seems X thinks I'm a sorry fuck for being on VR so long...

Anyways, it's not a waste here. I've gathered quite a bit of information, as I know very few vampires and vampire enthused persons-- and Jason gives me a tour of the world I may never see.
