I don't normally pre-pay for something that is not in a store unless it is a special order, however, I figured that since the item was in their other store just a few cities over that it will be no big deal. 5 days later and still no item. I called the store I paid at to inquire about getting a full refund and was told their policy is no cash refund, but they do give store credit. I said ok, I'll take that. I go to the store, placed some items beyond the cost of the item I pre-paid for and went to check out. I was then told that since the item could be in the owner's car in which she will be in on Monday that store credit could not be given until Monday. WTF? Monday will not be a good day for that store if this isn't resolved.
I know right?!? It was a $22 item that they called to confirm that it was at the other store. I'm thinking it really wasn't and they placed it on order hoping it would be delivered in time and if not they would just string me alone until it comes in.

Him. You can chose to love me the way I have explained to you. So you know another way. So either you're refusing to do so or you truly don't have the ability to do so. Either way, you don't have what I need. I deserve someone who will love me the way I need to be love. If I was hungry and all you had to give was drink, the fact remains that you wouldn't have what I needed.

Her: What? What do you mean? What was in your heart?
Him: You! You were in my heart. A person who doesn't or can't truly love themselves can never truly love someone else.....even when all that person wants to do is love them the way they need to be loved.
Goodness..I feel sorry for them both but more so for the girl. If she is just not capable of loving like he needs but she truly loves him. Then should he really leave her or should he just accept what she can give and love her for that?
I too feel sorry for them both. However, I don't think he's telling her she's a bad person, but just being honest with her that she can't meet his needs. For example, how long will she continue to give him something to drink when he's slowly dying of hunger? No matter how well meaning a person is, if you can't meet the needs of another, it won't last.
Maybe the guy can be an asshole sometimes and is not very understanding. Maybe she wants to give him what he needs but he can be intimidating. Wait...what were we talking about?
Hmmm, possibly....but why would she be in love with an asshole? So I seriously doubt that he is. However, if he is an asshole and she still loves him, she has more issues than not being able to show him any signs of passion one would think. Self-Respect comes to mind.

People are going to want to be with you for their own reasons. Either you accept that or not. It's neither good or bad really. If they want to be with you for your money and you are willing to allow them to be, just remember that when the money is gone, so will they be. If they are with you for sex and you stop giving them sex, they will leave. If they are with you for your looks, well you are blessed to have that power of attraction, but looks don't last forever and neither will their attraction to you. If they are with you to start a family and later find out that they can't have kids, they'll leave to be with someone who they rather spend the rest of their days with who they consider more of a friend or to just be single. However, if they are with you for what's in your heart, then don't worry about them ever leaving because by the time they do, you won't be around to care. You will no longer be among the living.
Although I respect your belief of an eternal place of milk and honey or an eternal fiery lake floating in space or something, my belief is a spirit soaring among the stars if good enough or being reincarnated into something else to try it again if very bad. But hey, if I'm wrong...Eh...Whateva! I'll enjoy life while it last without fear that ever wrong choice I make is sending me straight to a place where the majority will end up anyway unless I say some magic words. LOL!

I accept my Dark Side as much as my Light Side. Balanced is what I strive to be. Never fully dark or light, but at times one or the other as the situation calls for it.

Today was a wash. Nothing got completed. There is this thing that I tried to get into my house and only got as far as the bottom of the stairs. That's BEFORE first attempting to go through the garage and the mud room and down the short hallway, but it was too big to navigate into the Living Room. Going through the front door was a no starter. So then I had to back track out of the house, through the garage and navigate via the side of the house, onto the pool decking and then through the back glass doors and then stopped at the bottom of the stairs. There is NO way I'm getting that thing up the stairs alone. I'm AWESOME, but not a God. I called for help so a buddy of mine will be here tomorrow to assist me. Even with two men it will be a workout getting it upstairs. I had to remove parts off the thing, slightly damaged it, got it a bit dirty, and had things come undone. smh....But good news is that I got the four skulls I ordered today. ^_^
Today has been AWESOME. As a Collector, my Collector's Budget was depleted for the month. As a Collector, I dipped into my Grocery Budget today. I mean, who needs to eat right? LOL! You won't believe what I got at the Salvation Army and the cost will just blow your mind. It was half off everything today. I'll take pictures later.
I plan to be my family's first open Warlock. Yes, I will practice Ancient Egyptian Magic. Now this goes against my family's Christian belief. However, I don't really care.
I thought eBay was very cheap, but found that amazon can be just as cheap or even cheaper for some items and shopping directly from stores' online website is even more cheaper. You must shop around for the best price. Even eBay can have listed the same item from the same person multiple times, but with different prices. I saw something listed being sold on eBay by someone listing the item for $175.00 and on the store's website it was only $95.00. LOL! That's how people are making their profit. Buy something at low cost then list it on eBay for double or triple the amount in some cases.
I may not comment much but every time I watch these videos in your journal, the woman in them looks like someone I know who I consider like an aunt. lol
Silly me for not taking my Gout Prevention meds like I should. I figured...ehhh, no flare ups in over a year. Messed around and ate more bacon than I should have and now I'm paying dearly for it. I want to cut my left foot off, but that would just cause more pain. No position helps. Soaking in very warm water provides temporary relief. The pain intensified and stayed steady from 2 am to 6 am. Gout, I hate you with a passion.

So when I was growing up, I often visited the world of fantasy to escape from reality. I became a pro at it. It has served me well over the years. Now I find myself very blessed to be able to live in my fantasy world 24/7 if I choose and most of the time without even leaving my house. A few times I think I must have been a Warlock because when I came back to reality, I found myself married to a Witch...LMAO!!
So Urban Ink Magazine asked it's FB fans "Have you ever had a Tattoo Covered Up?"
I commented by with Yes...The infamous Ex's name. I had it tattooed very small to begin with. I mean when I told her I was going to do it and she was like 'Why?', 'Don't Do It', 'You're Crazy'...well I would say that's a sign that's something is up. LOL!
Sometimes when you interact with those who work in the Customer Service field, you encounter a very nasty attitude. You have a two choice. You can return it and then report them or you can understand that they may have endured rude people taking their frustration out on them all day as if they did them wrong personally and go out of your way to be nice. I try the latter. I find when I'm nice to them, they go above and beyond to assist me with my issues. Try it sometimes. Not everyone is an ASS just because that day ended in a 'Y'.
I stayed awake to catch up with my future self. When I caught up with myself, I told myself that if I thought I was AWESOME in the past, look at me now. ^_^
Some people forget they are part of a couple. It becomes 'Me' vs 'Him/Her'. It becomes 'I', 'Me', 'My' instead of 'Us', 'We', 'Our'. So that's when what must be said is.....'You', 'Go', 'Bye', 'Now!!!'
The night is slowly moving towards me and I will not deny my love's embrace. All I can think of is her smell, her light breeze over my body, she pulsates, she howls, she moves with the beating rhythms of pure lust. She's warm, yet cool and moist. How I love the night. She has my heart for life. Her eyes can be so bright at times they're blinding. At times and without reason she can be so still, so quiet that all I hear is my own heart beating for her. Life is Like a Jar of Rocks
A philosophy professor stood before his class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, rocks about 2" in diameter.
He then asked the students if the jar was full? They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous -- yes.
The professor then produced two cans of root beer from under the table and proceeded to pour their entire contents into the jar -- effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things - your family, your spouse, your health, your children--things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else. The small stuff."
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued "there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your husband or wife out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal. "Take care of the rocks first -- the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented.
The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of root beers."

I'm sending off his 'Baby Year Time Capsule' to him this week. It includes pictures, diapers, clothes, burping cloths, and other stuff from his birth year that I've held on to until he reached the age of 18.

I've heard from people who could be 'Stay At Home' or simply 'Fully Retired' types who say how they couldn't just NOT work. The biggest reason is the 'FEAR' of boredom.
I've read enough posts to know that people with full-time employment experience boredom from time to time. However, boredom is mostly just a state of mind. If you get bored, that's by CHOICE. As long as a person has at least one HOBBY that can be enjoyed in or around their home, boredom should not creep in. I think what happens is they get tired of doing stuff and they erroneously label that state as boredom.
Being able to cover my current living expenses which provides for me shelter, transportation, food, clothing and some entertainment is a blessing, however, it would be great to meet someone in the same situation with no child/children still living at home. If we became a couple, with just passports, the world could be our playground.
If she still chose to work, it could be part-time, it could be a home business, but I doubt I'll meet a woman who wouldn't resent having to get up daily to go to work while her hubby chilled daily unless she really LOVED what she did. Sure, I'd make sure she came home to a clean place and have dinner ready, but believe me, my day would mostly be about chillin and enjoying my hobbies. ^_^
Everyone knows SEX sells. It is also a known fact that males are the major consumers. It is also known that males are the major exploiters of females. It is also culturally programmed in us that females are the ultimate objects of desire. But what does it mean when a female exploits herself? Simple, SEX sells.
So anyway, this one girl on a social site has placed a link to a 'Wish List' on amazon. If people buy kinky products for her, she then posts pictures with the stuff or wearing the stuff for their pleasure. Now that's an Opportunist.
Some person on a power trip has tricked many people into believing that they should NEED someone to feel that they love them and that that person should feel that they NEED them too. WTF?
I disagree. I want a COMPLETE person to begin with. Then allow my being with them to ENHANCE their life. Not COMPLETE them.
It has been written that a relationship may be a crucial part of your life and your future, but you by yourself should have everything necessary to survive and thrive.
The fact is not all relationships last a life time. If you NEED someone, when they leave or die, then what you are saying is you will fall apart and kill yourself because you just couldn't go on. Wow! Really? The same goes for the person that NEEDs you.
I would NEVER want someone who didn't love me or love me anymore to be around just because they NEEDED me. No, I would want them to leave me and go carry on with their own life.
During hard times a strong woman doesn't turn loose your hand to hold the hand of another and then feel she has the right to be upset with you for letting her go. That's just crazy talk. You see, during hard times a STRONG WOMAN has the strength to hold your hand even tighter and never let go in the first place. How dare silly females play their little games or give their little tests by pulling away just to see how their guy will respond. That is about as crazy as the other guy who would allow them into their life in the first place. If that type of woman let go my hand, I'm going to use sanitizer as I keep stepping never breaking my stride. ijs
