So LKD says you're a chick after all. That's ok, too. I always liked you, anyway. Maybe your profile is meant to confuse folks like me. Skirt or pants...party on!

So, for Valentine's Day, my daughters have found the "Pinkalicious Tea." They have invited their boyfriends, Stabb and me, and my parents. A sweetheart tea for the whole family.

One catch - we all have to wear pink.

Including Stabb!

All these years on this site...you're a dude? I could have SWORN you were a chick.

And now I have deja vu. I could almost swear that I discovered this once before and was equally shocked then.

I need coffee and a dial-in therapist.

Ho-LEE Cow! Last night was a bumpy, scary ride. Stabb was SO sick! He was flying home from Kansas and had a layover in Houston. When he got home, I had dinner ready and he said he was hungry, but mentioned that he had grabbed a bite of barbecue at the Houston airport and that he was thinking it might repeat on him later in the night.

I had slow-cooked skinless chicken in the dutch oven until it was falling off the bone, and steamed asparagus. He was a little hungry, so he went ahead and had one piece of chicken and some asparagus.

About an hour later, he was vomiting, shivering, aching, headachey, dizzy, and weak. That went on for about 3 hours and then phase two began. I stayed up with him all night, kept him hydrated, and tried to keep him comfortable til he could rest. He didn't run a temp until about 8:30 this morning, and by that point, he was feeling a lot better. I've never seen a grown man so sick. I felt so bad for him.

I managed to get to work this morning. Praise You, 5 Hour Energy! I'm going to check on him at noon to see how he's doing. Poor thing. And he was actually worried about me. At one point he said, "I'm so sorry you had to see that." It's embarrassing when the human body lets us down, but I'm not terribly squeamish when it's someone I love. You almost feel grateful that there is SOMETHING you can do to help when they are so sick.

Our bodies work hard to get the bad out... Ever hear about the time someone (not me) was so ill, he lost consciousness in an airplane bathroom and then casually informed me later on?

It's worse when your loved ones are so ill and you can't even be closer than a few hundreds miles from them.

*ahem*

I think everyone has head that story, Morri...

Sick is sick... being so sick because your body needs to get rid of something is better than the alternative of not being able to get rid of it... know what I mean?

More than anything it was the casualness of your announcement. "Yeah I passed out in the plane's bathroom for a while. Didn't wake up until we were landing."

And think of all the people who were waiting!

Never eat airport food. You'd have better luck grabbing a sandwich from a 7-11 than eating anything there. Hope he recovers quickly.

Hey, what's a girl got to do to get some McFun up in hyeah?

(01-17) 08:19 PST Burbank, Calif. (AP) --

Police say a Southern California woman offered McDonald's restaurant drive-thru customers sex for chicken McNuggets.

Burbank police Lt. John Dilibert says 31-year-old Khadijah Baseer was seen opening the car doors of customers in a McDonald's drive-thru lane on Jan. 11.

The lieutenant says the Los Angeles woman, a frequent panhandler in the area, told customers she would swap sex for the fast-foot item.

Baseer was arrested for investigation of prostitution, cited and released.

Good questions to ask after reading this article:

1. What size nugget box was she trading for? What do I get for a10 piece box?

2. What's a girl got to do to get supersized?

3. Dipping sauce...make up your own joke! I can't do it all for you!

I've been bugging friends and family to get the voxer app. I love this app. It makes voice messages as convenient as text messages...without the typing...inflection and emotion all intact. Sometimes you just want to leave an "I love you." or a funny joke for someone. This is perfect. I leave Allie a "sleep tight" each night when I'm going to sleep and I always get one back. Sooo precious for a mom who misses her pumpkin.

I want to vox you! Get EET!

Caution: it's becoming popular with kids. Check to see if your kid has it because it can be linked to Facebook and location finder allows everyone to see exactly where they are. Easily turned off for security.
