I dont know if i posted it in the right place
How many believe the crystal ball is a very powerful tool to use?
I do I use it a lot and meditate with it.
Do you believe the crystal ball has affects when it is out in the open and when people come over to your home do u think it takes their energies?

I would like some feed back on this

I have 2 crystal balls. They are very effective,

I treat them as I do my tarot cards...I wrap them in a dark cloth to keep other's vibrations away.

This is only my thought.

I've never used a crystal ball myself, but like any tool it's effectiveness would be down to who uses it.

I don't think it would have an adverse effect on anyones energy at all.

I have never known anyone to leave their crystal ball out in the open. Usually they are protected and kept safe as is any divination tool. I don’t think they steal away any ones energies either.

I should cover it and keep it like I do my tarot cards then? Keep it in a dark place and protect it?

It's up to you. Perhaps keep it covered in dark velvet when you are not home and then enjoy it uncovered when you are home. It wouldn't steal energies.

I can so see why you would want to leave it out.

They are a beautiful amazing piece.

But yet I would treat it as I would any scrying, divination tool.

Crystal balls are gorgeous.. how does one use it for divination?? If so id like to get one. It may help me out with my tarot cards and runes

for a crystal ball to work it would have to have some source of power so I would say yes

I personally dont have one, but i do know someone who does, and I believe that she leaves hers out in the open and has not had any problems as of yet with leaving it out

I pesonally would not leave it out as I wouldnt want others energies getting into it.

Crystal gazing is a very clever way to lift a fog of reality, most commonly refered to as writers block in a sense.

I think they are best used via candle light, and with a mirrored reflection. This way, you get the most powerful accuracies. Remember, the crystal only calls forth what you need to see, it is your mind that shows you the pictures.

I personally have not worked with a crystal ball before, though I do believe it's a very good divination and meditation tool. I do think it would pick up on all the energies presented to it, which is why you may want to keep it somewhat tucked away. A little bit of the wrong energies could alter it quite a bit.

its an object like any other but is good for focusing energy to and thru..

crystal balls are just an object, like any other object..it all depends on the user. and the user only

Myself I do not use a crystal ball, although one of my friends do and I have see the affects she gets from using it, it works well for her.

A rose ball as apposed to a clear ball, the differances that I have experianced would be...

A rose ball, reflects things from the astral through the minds eye, different energies altogether. Things that would not be seen on a normal basis, such as a keener sense of an individuals aura, it helps tune your 6th sense, or third eye.

A clear ball, these are most commonly used as a wide range of claivoyance. Such as through movies, books, pictures, even video games. Past, present, even some future precipitations. Also through the minds eye.

i think that they do what their owner wants them to do and if you are known to steal energies then keep it covered but if you do not yourself then keep it out for all to see

Everytime I see someone with a crystal ball in their house I shun it...its just a decoration to me..may not be to them so I never open my mouth about it..but as far as it taking energies I doubt it and to even really know you'd have to ask people who have been in your house while it was out int he open.

I've seen somewhere the 'crystal ball' being used to predict events in the future, and some that are said to see the events of the past. I've never heard anything about crystal balls and energy..

Any "tool" that you use to focus on becomes very important and full of power.

well i think it's the crystal itself that has the energies and all who come in contact with it who leave their energy impressions upon the object,but i do think a crystal object can be powerful in a positive or negative way nomatter it's form.

I have never had a crystal ball and do not know the affects of them. But, I would love to have one. It is just a matter of being able to find a shop to buy one in.

I would say, if you want to leave it out and enjoy it, do so when you know you will be alone... Not that it will soak up other engergies, but that it will make it much more personal for you. ^_^

As a Gypsy, crystal balls are a big part of our spiritual practices ((not fortune telling lol At least, not in my family))

They can be used for meditation as well as casting a circle... They help to draw out and channel all your hidden power/energy, making divination more meaningful.

I keep mine wrapped in a cloth, which was blessed with sage smoke, in a warm place. I found when I do put it away, it has a more powerful energy when I remove the cloth... As though it were sleeping. I know that sounds strange, but I don't know how else to describe it lol!

When I left it out, people touched it... "Oh this is pretty!" O_o;; When that happened, it through off my personal energy when I tried to meditate ...

If you want to go out and get one, don't just grab one and buy it. Hold it on your hands... Feel the shape of it. They are all different... And size doesn't matter, either. Just as long as it feels right! Trust me, when you find the right ball, you will know... For me, it felt like a part of me... The surface wasn't perfectly round... And it just seemed to fit perfectly in my hands. ^_^

I have seen crystal balls but I have never used one before. I'd love to actually have one.
I believe they are powerful and accurate as long as the persons using them believes in the power.
I think crystal balls as well as other crystals do absorb energies (negative as well as positive) but, I don't believe they harm anyone by absorbing their energies.

I dont have or ever used a Crystal ball or know of anyone who does. I do know a lot of ppl who have faith in Cystals and they say it works so as I have never had any deallings I would have to be openned minded and listern to what ppl tell me so I guess it would.

Some people may not need a crystal ball at all for their spiritual/devinational purposes... It works for me... But it may not work for others. ^_^ I suppose, as I said before, it helps me channel my energy better. ^_^

i meditate with my crystals, but not a crystal ball per say, and absolutely they have energy..

Most people keep them put away, but I don't think they would absorb others energies unless they touched them.

My opinion of Crystal Balls are they are fake. They are some of the stupidest things. I think they are like Sylvia Brown.. The ones using them fish with questions then run with it.

The best crystal ball I have seen was a bowling ball and man did that guy tear those pins up with it, I swore it was magical.

Seriously I want to see anyone that has a real crystal ball and can use it as they are fantasized as being able too cause I have a couple great government jobs to offer them.

I use a black obsidian plate but it`s role is pretty similar.

I keep it covered in my room, so I don`t think it interferes with any human energies at all.

I don't believe a crystal ball steals energies. I have one and mine doesn't do that. A crystal ball is a good divination tool to have along with tarot cards. I keep my crystal ball wrapped in a satin cloth and put away with the rest of my divination tools.

I believe in the power of crystals but gazing into a crystal ball and telling the future or past is a little bit beyond my belief. Good for a laugh though ;)

It truly is all about focus so this shouldn't matter...BUT...I think flat bottom crystal balls are annoying.

I agree with A.X74...It doesn't have to be a crystal ball...Some people find those easier to see images in...Any medium generally can be used to focus energy on..Although..Some things have stronger vibrations and energies..which seem to help focus and tune to certain frequencies...I have had experiences and seen things with out using anything..It just happened all around me..a type of seeing into the future, where all my surroundings were being fast forwarded into the future...watching reality change before my eyes..kind of like..I could SEE outside of time, or pieces of time...With maybe what some call the THIRD EYE..Astral eye..Cosmic mind.

I never had a reading from a crystal ball. I have had my palm read. When my palm was read i was able to block out everything except some things from my childhood

I have never heard of it doing that then again i've not heard of someone meditating with it either... I just thought it was all apart of an act and powers were never held inside it it was all smoke and mirrors to make those come and give gypsies their money and get a fake reading... I never thought their was any magick in it... but hen again I've never heard of dragon magick untill just recently like a few months ago and vampires arent the living dead their living blood drinkers have been documented and all the things that are in movies have found a way into the real world some how some way....

I have them, and use them. They aren't supposed to be kept in the open. To keep them in the open makes them lose their "vibes", or "energy" or what I call "properties" and makes them null and void, needing to be recharged again.

You should keep all of your magical tools wrapped in dark cloth and out of the sun when not in use, for instance, wands, crystal balls, scrying bowls, books of shadows, tarot cards, etc.

They are an effective tool when treated right. They can be used for simple meditation, knowledge or whatever you need to "scry" for.

A crystal ball is a focusing tool. It's not the ball that gives you power, it's your ability to concentrate.

Like what has been said.. they are great focusing tools like anything that can be used to help one focus their thoughts and energies. I find them useful as a focusing tool myself.

I would like to learn how to use one, but don't know exactly where I could get one.

I do believe though that it does work if it is used properly, I am not sure about it affecting somebody else's energy though.

first of all, flat bottom or not, it does not matter... black mirrors are btr anyways.. u can even use a turned off tv screen, a glass of water and put cig ashes in it... almost anything and u will see images

I haven't used a crystal ball but I think that a crystal ball is something that is, when used properly, an object that can help you see things that are not meant to be seen by the human eye by itself. It is just how you look at it.

For myself I use a black crystal ball and also keep it covered but I also do not discharge it. But I have been in a house that had a ball in the open and it has often drawn my energy to it and I have caught myself into a daze to it.

You mean like a medium looking into a sphere and seeing the future? If he'she was a good enough medium, they would see it in their head and not need a ball. I think it is for show.
