The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I have heard of many such physical and verbal attacks targeting vampires in my own neighbourhood of late, and have been subject to them myself.

Recently, an eighteen year old boy suffered severe ventral trauma with the attempt of a gang of local teenagers to play 'stake the vampire'. His partner escaped with minor injury having been assessed by the gang as ‘clean’, she was forcibly taken from her company and bound to a near by tree to watch the attack. Minutes into the ordeal, as reported by the partner, the gang fled.


My message to those of interest, lifestyle and tolerance of the vampire 'culture' is one of strength and tact. don't be stupid, consider your influence and impact on the society around you. actions without considerations of the personal consequences is one thing, but to endanger another being is beyond ignorant, it is stupid.

to those who have been vicitimised, recieve my deepest empathy.

to those who have been abused, recieve my strength.

to those who victimise, we will meet again.

Well in that case beware to who you reveal what you are. Don't go to the whole town shoputing what you do,cause even in 2006 these things are still not acceptable.

People like that sicken me....if you really look at the human race we are all different in our own ways.....just because one isn't what "society" has portrayed as the "perfect" human doesn't mean they are not still human....everyone expresses their own taste and creativity through dress, religion,beliefs, lifestyles and these people could be great people...so why not get to know them before being so quick to judge....it's sorta like racism in a way but racism against a lifestyle...which is sick in my opinion..I really praise those who are willing to be different other then what society portrays....I dispise the way society says human should live, act , dress and even comes down to what size your suppost to be. I will never live under societies rules....I make my own...it's my life and I will live it the way I want to live it and I say that other people should do the same.

That is scary, hope I never get attack like that, I live in a very rough neberhood, there is alot of cops aroud because of it, and this gotme even more worry, I mean its not like I could walk out with my katana in public to protect myself, dam where is the world going.

That's very scary.....some people are just can't handle anything that doesn't fit in to their little perfect world...it's ridiculous. And honestly, I've found that the people who try so hard to look the most normal are the ones who are the real freaks.

i understand what you say , i've (hopefully) never been attacked before as in my country you must keep you vampire life hidden all the time(romania - here you might realy receive a stake in your heart , or worse) but i'm usually much to stealthy for anyone to see me in the night(no , i'm not a movie vampire and i dont drink blood from someone unwilingly.... just i like the feeling of walking through my city during the night)

wow daeg. That victim was a sad thing to hear of. Things like that happen daily. Victimizing occurs so often, especially by teens. I've hated teenagers in general since I was a kid, and have continued to do so, even in my teen years, as a result of being victimized for being different.

We should not just concentrate on this as an attack on vampires, but an attack on humanity. We all must share this planet, and therefore we must all learn to respect eachothers place in it. I would be just as disgusted if this had happened to any other person for any other reason. Why can we not live harmoniously? Because we fear the unknown, that's why. Homosexuals get flack because no one truly knows what "makes" a homosexual. Racism exists as a leftover attitude from before we understood skin pigmentation. It's sick and pathetic that so many people cannot get over these fears and turn them into curiousities - if you do not understand something, LEARN, don't fight.

thats not good ,you would think ppl would be afraid of vampires,its hoorid having to stay in the shadows for fear of being discoverd

in my town wiccans,goths, and vampires all are looked down upon by the majority of the so called christianity

In my little suburban town, people look down upon any "abberants": wiccans, vampires, goths, homosexuals, people with mental issues such as depression or bipolar; it's disgusting that anyone could take those terrible feelings and use them to justify such an attack.

as a person who has embraced the knowledge that i am not like everyone else and has been hurt and put down because of it i understand. i may olny be a child in the world of others but i know this earth we live on is a pure eveil sorce, a black hole eating our souls. i agree and stand beside you when we fight for our exsitence

The sad thing is that it will not change. There are decent people out there that respect us, if not even intrigued by us I may say. And these ones that are running around without thinking are giving them a bad name. We must remember not to group them together as a whole or we are just as bad. Just like they have the bad apples out of the tree so do we and that's just one more reason why they think we are all bad. When in truth most of us are decent people. Just keep your guard up and keep an eye out for your fellow friend.

that's really sad and sickening what happened. It's like just b/c you wear black and keep to yourself doesn't mean that you're going to bomb your school. I guess it would say we have to look out for our own.

My heart goes out for the victims....... and to the individuals responsible for this, I hope they remember what they have done when they are victimized in some way. Except when they start to beg for their pathetic, narrow-minded lives, they will realize that it would be too late, and they shall feel the chides of karma.

the "stake the vampire".. is not funn.. and if i know of anyone doing such acts.. i will personaly make sure Lady Justice kicks them in the ass.

Ever since the publication of the "Maleficus Malefactum" in the middle ages witches, vampyres, etc. have been targets for the obsessed.

Just because a few novelists have invaded pop culture with tales of "hero vampires" is no reason to assume that the "inquisition" is over.

It isn't - not by a long shot.

That's a most unfortunate happening, and my thoughts go out to anyone who had to go through it, especially the victims friend. There could very well be nothing worse than being unable to help.

My advice, if you think you are in an area where this could occur, is learn to defend yourself, and don't be afraid to RUN! I hereby offer my services to anyone that thinks they may become a victim of this gang or similar, message me and I can give you some useful pointers for self defense against groups. But, again, nothing wrong with running away.

Well we live in a world where everyone is terrorised People still get attacked we still have racism. people are beaten up because of their sexuality everyone from gay to goths are targetted. The vampire community has no chance, not in our own lifetimes, however long they may be!!!

i hate it.. i hate it that people to this day are still being controled by the corupt rulers of a previous time. The old rulers.. especially Christians were afraid of not having control, so they made up lies about that which they did not understand.. ie... brainwashing their subjects.. and those ideas are still in play today.

That is just awful! I can't believe this is what the world has come to, why can't people understand the fact that there are other races/religions and they deserve respect and the right to live just like anyone else. My heart goes out to the victims.

That's a sick thing b'y. Vampires like me and neone who affliates themselves with us have to be careful, but that isn't really the point is it? People should know what they're getting into, now i'm no Elder or Master but I'm trying my best at the moment to be careful for myself and those around me

Another sad story in the occult world. Things like this are getting real badly as of lately. Seems as though anyone of a differint lifestyle or background are getting attacked for a difference. This is just proving the iq level of people in society today. If they don't understand it they fear it then enventually lash out. Ever since I have grown up I have been "martyrd" for my beliefs aswell my family. Well aslong as man lives this will just keep going on so I will just have to deal....

If you are different from society then accept that you are going to be put down.. That is something that people need to just realize.. no matter what.. someone gets hurt because of religion, race, education, culture, etc.. etc.. etc.. Lets just try to be the better side of man kind.. I'm sure that isn't too hard of a thing to do.

it's because of people like that I've had to fight 7 times with one of them ending with me stabing the other guy in the shoulder. My friends backed me up and I walked on self defense . And in my defense they started it. Plus I have a short temper, and hard punch. I can't help it.

princedraven is right it doesnt matter who you are or what you are... if you dont fit in the little box someone will fear you. The problem is there are way too many boxes. I mean even within christianity. if you are one denomination, your screwed. Its impossible to fit into the mold of society because everyone has a different perceptipn of what it is.

It's a sad world we live in when we are attacked for just being different if we were all the same the world would be a boring place.That is why I don't run around bragging about what I am for fear ppl will do that to me and it is ashame we have to stay hidden about who we truly are.
