For those of you who believe in reincarnation, answer me this: Do you believe we pick up where our soul left off. Okay... for example: If someone died at age 25, and was reincarnated, the soul would pick up where it left off. Meaning the child picked up previous habbits and beliefs as before? What are everyones beliefs on this?
Don't think it's like that.
There al ot of people who ave expirinced deja vu in a place they were never been before.
Or feel that they belong to another country.
There are also people who belive that we are the ones who choose where to get reincarnated and our expiriences of life but not choose how we face them.
Also just because reincasrnation might be possibilie it doesn't mean that other realsm don't exist!
Some believe that after we die we spend some time in another dimension then we reincarnate.
Infact for me if reincarnation exists I would believe we reincarnate immedietly unlucikily most people misconcept this and by reincarnation have always to think you reincarnate exactly after dying.
Correction:I would believe we would not reincarnate immedietly
i agree with DNG..although there are some cicumstances that the attitude or habit might be the same..but i believe that reincarnation is meant to change that soul for the better..:D
I believe in reincarnation. I dont know if you go on having the bad habbits you had in your past life, but I think it would be quiet possible. and im not talking about picking your nose or something like that. more things like, that you dont like a certain food or a gesture you use to make.
I most certainly belive in reincarnation. I am also a strong believer in that there is a waiting period after we die. A vacation of sorts if you will. And the possibility of other realms is something else I am leaning towards. Personally I think that we map out certain events in our lives prior. But its how we get there and what we learn that is the key issue. To me life is a learning experience.
And as for personality yes I believe it can remain the same. But if it gets reincarnated after a very long time most prolly it would have to start again and build up another personality.
Also it might be possibile that same person have to pass from the same expiriences without being of their choice.
i've never thought of it that way, deathnitegrl. That makes alot of sense. I come here in search of opinons and theories to learn more. And i do agree, life is indeed a learning expirience.
I think that every thing is a state of mind. If we die and get reincarnated and our mind is the same when we come back then sure........ But if that was possible then the saying if i new then what i no now would be a figment of your imagination....... So truely we will never successfully no really...........
if reincarnation were true my though of it would be a spirit lost in the world and just happens to cross the path of a person and get stuck inside the body
It's always nice to learn, and this stuff interests me a lot, however this is another subject of belives rather than of being sure.
So mine were all what I think personally and from stuff I've read and heard here and there.
I do believe but not in that way.I think you start over with a new life..but come across something in that new life that trigers the feeling of I have see or done this before but never knowing for sure.
hey....what I'm gonna say here isn't what I think but what I know, and I'm not joking. All I can say is that personality traits remain from one life to the next, especially the ones which were strongest in a previous life. The traits may show immediately as soon as you can show them or develop again later on in your life. Obviously, you won't have the exact traits and/or gifts you had in previous lives, but the ones which showed strongest, YES! And then there are those 'unexplainable' things or feelings you get in your present life...like how much u love/hate the sea, or how good you are at something u've never done before in ur present life.....if it feels familiar, but still can't explain it, then ur most likely to have had a past life. For those who actually remember and have memories of their past lives, will most probably agree with me on this one.
if you have read my thoughts on the soul subject in the forum then i guess this would also tie in with it. yes i beleive in reincarnation but like i said i think the soul is an energy from the planet we get when we are created and lose when we die and the energy is dispersed back into the earth and that energy wether it be all or only part of it would be taken back inside another person or thing when they are created and that would account for the past life experences and likes or di-likes it would be a bit like genetic memory or energetic memory i guess, so i suppose what i'm saying is that reincarnation is the soul, or part of the soul, taking up residence in another body.
my brother would definitely agree with you there! about the energy...last time he tried explaining it to me...and i can see his point...it does make sense....then again, people will believe what they want in life and that will be the truth for them ;)
I think it's like the karma thing and that only certain souls get to come back again. Kinda like recycling the good people back into the world.
I believe in reincarnation! But i will agree with deathnitegrl i dont believe the soul goes to another body straight away (the reason being: the soul is too confused by the whole death thing, it needs time to adjust itself and in time it will be ready to go to another body)
As for the habit thingy, i believe that we do pick up lil habits such as the same disliking to something, such as drink & food and we still have abit of the person's personality...such as temper, humour, likes and dislikes and simular looks like eyes or face shape or even the whole face but we also have difference's about us too...individuality!! but that's just my opinion!
I firmly believe in reincarnation, and I think the soul spends an extended period of time in another realm before entering another body to live again. As for personalities, there is a base essence of your being that is inherent in your soul. That part of you is with you in all incarnations. That's about all I have the time to say.
yes and no...
i think that our souls go back to the time where we didnt learn a particular lesson that we were suppose to...whatever age that might have been.
we dont always start a new life when its just about over...we mostly start it off fresh and new
I also believe in this....because there is way too many times where i get deja vu and know i have never done it before... I also believe that our souls are in a different realm until we are sent to live again I also have other beliefs that intertwine with this but thats a whole other subject.
i think your soul picks up where it left off
your soul keeps everthing in it everything youve learned and what not
I dont know if I believe in reincarnation. But my theory on that is if we do indeed get reincarnated then our memories, or most all parts of them, get demolished like starting wih a new slate. And then we keep going through lives until we make the best one and live it to God's will, only then can we join the realm of His kingdom.
i do believe...i had my tea leafs read she told me I have an old soul. And I feel that way and i think you have some traits from your last life... In your unconscious.
i believe that reincarnation exist.but we dont know anything of our past live but maybe a place or a vision.
I believe in reincarnation. If you think about it most humans only use what 10% of their brain? What's to say that are past expeinces and feelings aren't stored away and when the time comes something triggers it to let some of the past enter our concisnous. Or in our time of need we just all of a sudden realise something. Have you ever been in a sitiuation and all of a sudden you come up with the solution and it works perfectly and you couldn't have done it better if you had your whole life to plan for it? I think that's us drawing on those past experinces. I think this info is locked away and comes in a time of need. I mean let's face it if we knew everything life would not be interesting and we would have no challenges. Thanks for letting me put my 2 cents in.
Different people. Different deffinitions of reincarnation. blah.. True is there is "proof" of everything. Yet no one truly knows.
I believe in reincarnation, and just like most say. I think that it hapends over a period of time, not right away.
I believe the soul has memories of each past life, but these memories do not manifest themselves conciously in the new host. I believe that every once in a while, on very rare occasions, our soul's "personality" comes through - like when you meet someone you SWEAR you've known for years.
Another good question: (similar to the first, but made simple) If and when reincarnated, the beliefs a previous life (as in good or bad soul) stay the same. Would they? I believe so. ^ also brought up previously.
I beleive that you pick up where you left off. I heard of several little kids who've been having past images, and it pretty much ending up being all about them. I hope it's not always like that, I think that some people jsut don't have the gift to remember and so on. but we start off as a child again, and learn about our past life, or lead a new one.
i do sort of believe it's like that, but not totally. i think that when you die, your soul stays in the dead's realm for as long as it takes to reflect on how life was when they were alive. while they reflect, they choose what they think their new person will believe in, act and so on because they will know what mistakes they made and what to do and not to do and what they should try out in the new life.
What do you all think about life goals in this? If a person dies without completing a life goal, would that effect the souls personality?
i think that you come back but you don't remember anything from ur past life....it's like you're starting over again....
I think that some things remain, such as personality and other aspects of the soul. They're just sort of picked up and moved into a different setting. And from there we can continue learning and growing.
I believe that I have dreams about my past life, and that I still suffer from some of the bad things that happened then like for instance I have a fear of drowning. There are a lot of people that believe that our fears in this life are do to something traumatic that happened to use in our past life. So yes I do believe that we may carry some but not all of our habits and beliefs from our past life.
I think the rules for reincarnation differ for each soul. Some wait, some are born immediately. Some are very similar to the person they once were, some are complete opposites. So the answer is . . . maybe.
I don't think it's like that, personally. I think it depends on the individual soul, what that soul went through in previous lifetimes, karma and what not. And the soul is then shaped by its current surroundings, every life is different. but i guess i believe that the soul carries a bit of each lifetime around with it.
I belive in reincarnation, but I think it is on a subconsious level other wise we wouldnt be wondering if it's real. For instance de ja vu, something is familar or you swear you have been somewhere you know you've never been before. I think we come back with a subconsious knowledge of what our past was and try to avoid those mistakes and only when we finally aviod them do we move on to another realm or existance or something. That may also be a big part of dreams and why we dream what we dream, its all subsonsious and it's telling us something , but when we wake we cant figure it out. I hope there is something, wheather it's reincarnation or just an after life in another realm. I would hate to think all we do here and now is just gone when we are.
your memories definently stay in your unconsious once youve past to a new life you cant physically remember them but they are there
I highly believe in reincarnation. I dont think we pick up exactly where we left off nor do I believe we are reincarnated immeadiately upon our demise. I believe we have to wait for the karmic balences to be made equal. Sufferings and punishments delievered as well as rewarded.
I beleive that it is not cut and dry. I think we are reincarnated only until we fulfill our purpose. Our being is continued, but memories and the such are not. We can be reincarnated as anything capable of fulfilling that purpose. If it is done before we reach trancendance, that becomes our purpose.
Wow, so many different things flying around i cant remember what i was believing when i started to read this!!!
OK my tuppences worth, I PERSONALLY (must stress that) believe that all of our traits are inspired by previous lives and that is why so many things in our lives either come naturally or not too us (i cant believe that somebodies ability in say art is not inspired from a previous life, esp when there parents show no artisitic merits whatsoever) And also I do believe in soulmates and my belief is that your soulmate in this life was someone very important to you in a previous life
Of course on the flipside to that I am myself a big believer in science (a contradiction?? maybe so) So I have always believed genetics does play a part!!
Confused???? I know I am!!!
Martius
I think that some traits may move from one life to the next but most would be new with each life. It would just be a continuation in the larger scale.
waht about this do u think that someone who was a rebel is a rebel in there next life? or someone who conforms to all the norms in the next life was a conformer in their last life? i mean just as examples u can look at "good wholesome christian families" and sometimes they spawn some of the most rebelious teens and adults for that matter or jus the opposite do u think reincarnation plays a role in this?
good question but i have to say no i really dont think they do i think it doesnt really start over but i guess kind of pauses i guess but mabey some of the same habbits come later in life
Thats what i was trying to get at, yes, it just didn't make sense when i tried to say it. I belive that is exactly what happens. Anyone else?
I believe these things. That we are eventually reborn, not knowing what we've done or what we've learned but that through our adolesence we feel what we remember as good or right as well as what we've expierenced as bad and wrong. Its a Familiarity with things although we had never done or expierenced them in our current lifetime.
I could say more but it probably would just not mesh with what i've already said.
I very much believe in reincarnation....i also believe that the feeling of deja vu we get is a part of that......so of us are even able to see things that have gone on in our lives before......but i believe some souls go to another place and rest and come back when the right body id born for them whilst others can return immediately........There is a movie called Audrey Rose.....if anyone doesn't believe watch that it may make you believe
"THERE IS NO END
FOR THE SOUL THERE IS NEVER LIFE NOR DEATH. NOR HAVING ONCE BEEN DOES IT EVER CEASE TO BE. IT IS UNBORN ETERNAL EVER EXISTING UNDYING AND PRIMEVAL"
i think we only come back if we have not completed what we have in our own destiny as set out before us
so return would be for completion of that destiny
The afterlife is complex, but every deals with it in his or her own way. You don't see anyone coming back complaining.
I've known I have been reincarnated many times and I think if you are reincarnated you might pick up the same beliefs with some new ones each time.
my opinion too drangel. i´ve been reincarnated ( as i remeber from seances) 6 times and it´s been always as from the second ( going backwards in time) i was created by man and wife, i died in the last life.
I'm not sure about this.................
i do know some kids that seem born with a very adult intellect towards life, which can be very scary and alarming when u find your having a real adult debate with a 6 yr old over the colour in fire lol
i beleive in racarnation, but i dont think we pick up where we left off straight away.
Nah i don't, just like if there is an after life? don't believe in that either. i believe when we're dead, we're dead!
I think that it could happen. I however, do not think that everyone "knows" what they did in their past life unless they're smart enough to put together pieces they do not know yet. But yes, I think it entirely possible.
Shadowgirl
I do believe in reincarnation and I do believe that we would retain some small reminants and traits because if we didn't then essentially we would become a "new" soul, but I do not think that we would pick up from where we left off when we left this world.
Wow. I never thought of it that way, good point. Yeah, I do believe in reincarnation.. so yeah, now that you mention it, the soul would continue where it left off I guess...
Hmm.. Im gonna have to look that up now.

I completely believe that we are reincarnated when we die. However i believe that depending on what caused our death, what we have accomplished or not accomplished or done wrong or done right in our lives, depends on if we get reincarnated right away or linger in another plane of existence. And yes, i do also believe that we might be able to pick up past beliefs and habits and such. It determines who we are as people and its a way of finding out who we are in times of being lost.
In my own opinion about reincartion when the person dies there souls starts over again if it wants to.
Deja vu is a very common thing that would occur in this intance
The soul will essentially "start over". However residual thing may slip through (ie many people can account for past lives).
The Hindus also believe that you may have to be reincarnated as many as 10,000 times (if not more) before your soul will reach Nirvana. Of course your soul does not always come back in human form either.
dont mean to sound like a dumb ass but what does reincarnation mean?
Try reading the thread, using the forum search, or even Google. This would likely find an explanation for you.
:) STABB
I personally believe that the soul comes back to have new experiences that they always carry with them always.
it is said that when you are born you are closest to your last life than you'll ever be.
the people that are close to you now will be close to you in your next life.....and so on and son and so on.
nah i don't believe in reincarnation but my brother does and he does belive in the habits thing as for me nah cause if some one in a passed life couldn't use energy why would they be able to now
just want to share what ı `ve read once about reincarnation..
A baby begin to speak something after some months she was born.. at first her parents thought its just the murmur, bablings of the child after 4 years, the child continue speaking '' something '' .. and never learns her parents tonque. Then her parents took him to a doctor and psychologist. And finally after that parents find out the child is speaking a language which belongs to a balto-slavic language family.. And what she was saying during 4 years ' You are not my family etc..''
As a Wiccan, I firmly beleive in reincarnation. Though, even before I was one I beleived.
-Lord P. Shadowloo
depends on the soul, cause the soul could have been split in which the more powerful of the two halfs would end up governing the other
I do think it takes time before a soul becomes reincarnated.
I believe, and have many past lives shared with those in this one. Sometymes you come right back, if you are needed, others I think it depends. Surely karma has a role and I believe you build it on it life after life.
Sometymes, when you meet someone and things just click, I've discovered it's because you've known them in a past life, and often I've been able to piece togather when and where. I've done several past life regressions both as subject and as leader, it's amazing some of the things that you find out.
ok, there's my nickle on reincarnation,
blessed be,
LadyHela
Yes,i believe that your soul when stays in limbo until there is a new born babies body is ready to be the host of your soul.In other words your soul is recycled but with no thoughts or memories from your previous host(body).
not really picks up it influences the new one that is all mostly memories of the past life influence the new self against or to something
think that i may have been a platypus in my last life...cause im a pretty strange fella...or maybe a dwarf tit mouse...i mean what the heck is a tit mouse really?
No guarantee that you come back as a human, you might be a sea creature or even a plant.
I feel the recycling of souls with a 5 cent deposit can happen and you do live life over again with brief visions of your past ones but that is all they are….visions with no clarity on questions on what was that.
in my last live i´ve been a prostitute wich died at syphillis. before that i´ve been a nigro boy died on an vipers bite in african jungle, b4 that i´ve been a japanese monk died on heartbreak. more i can´t remember of the trance session right now
i think there is always some part of you that moves on to the next life with your sole
My thought for today, ..is that no matter where your soul has traveled.. what is has done and what it has become. You can't change what it's ment to learn and change into..
There are so many factors to life which contribute to who we are, and recently I've been feeling like no matter how hard I try to something else, Always will something creep up on me and sway my mind to the certain point of view and attitude that it's ment to be i.e. my characteristics.
And I grow more and more to like these characteristics even if they were to drift me away from friends and people i once thought were in the same walk of life.
I don't believe we bring back our souls, with the same habits, thoughts etc ..at least not fully. I do believe sometimes we don't or aren't able to extract or get rid of what was in the prior life. But I believe every journey back into life, there is a reason. A destiny to or needs to be fullfilled. I have my own theories regarding re-incarnation and I certainly do not wish to offend anyone. But I will give you my take.
For example:
If a woman in this life was a man in a past life, and lets say she died, and was re-incarnated, some of her male dna, spirit let us say wasn't completely extracted, and she was born into this life she would or could possibly have some male characteristics from a former life.
Some ppl believe you just decide to be homosexual..like it's an over night decision..for this I strongly disagree..one is born that way, hence one of the reasons I believe in re-incarnation.
Again..this is my own personal theory..
I mean not to offend.
Yes I think the tests you havn't finished will continue to follow you until they're completed :) That goes for peopel too
BOnBOn
I would like to think we are reincarnated, but ... I'm a bit of a true Agnostic and @_@ Need proof in order for me to fully believe in anything.
I personally think reincarnation is very possible, but i don't think you pick up the same habbits or beliefs, i beleive personally that you can carry certain memories, you can unlock these in your dreams (astro projection) and have premonition's of such aspects of your previous life, such as a family, or love of your life, or even how you died...
Yes I Believe in reincarnation but i think you come back as an anmial or plant and sometimes a newborn baby
i dont know, id rather think that its not real cuz if it is then that just means that we are recycled over and over again. i dont think id want to be rencarnated anyway, i dont want to be recycled over and over again.
I dont believe that your soul picks up where you left off but i do believe in reincarnation.......i mean there are many things that i thin ki have done before and that seem so familar
these are my belives: after we die we go t othe summer lands.. where we gather the things that we have learned from our previous lives and learn from our mistakes ..and then after some time we reincarnate..not immedtialy.. trying to learn more as we live more lifes
I do not believe in reincarnation, thou I think i is interesting.
i belive in reincanation, but i dont belive our sould picks up where we left of. i do on the other hand belive that our sould learns from past mistakes in a previous life. bu i dont belive in the whole, 'same beleifs' etc thing, i think our soul likes to experiment. i probly make no sense but im not very good at explaining :)
evexx
i think i understood you well :) .. about the beliefs.. well on that point i dont know actually.. i think that i had similar beliefs i have now in my others lifes.. but thats difficult to prove
I think that yes, you do start off where you left in some cases. Sometimes you have the same habits and beliefs, other times you do not. It just all depends on where you are after being reincarnated. Many people do get deja vu and they can remember always going to a place they have never been before. I also believe that you can find out who you were in a past life if you meditate on it. Some people already know who they were without even meditating on it. It just comes to them naturally. Especially if your soul has jumped from other demensions, you may have dreams about places you have been before that aren't even in this demension.
i for 1 know for a FACKT that its true. there are so many thoughts that came to me after my first awakening. at first i didnt think much of it but then i met athers that remambered the same thing...nothing difrent about it. all the same thoughts and mamerys. even sames here and there.
i believe in reincarnation for one simple fact .... i believe it is where some peoples phobias come from.... like being afraid to drink from your own glass if your not constantly watching it because your afraid that someone is going to poison you.... hmmm well i gues thats not a very good explaination but it will have to do
I believe in reincarnation but I believe we start over with the lessons learned in past lives imbedded somewhere in our subcounscience, kind of like ok we learned those lessons now we have to move on but we dont necessarily remember them and could through choice make those same mistakes again.
I think the soul starts from the beginning again. Its not like a child would know the stuff a 25 year old would
Isn't life a cycle?
So, we all go thru and thru and come back again.
All comes down to lessons learn and Energy balance. Do not think Life is linear, it is not.
Born with the sence that i was older than i am, I am a firm believer in re-incarnation. Since i was very young i have had memories of a death, which later on in life i felt could be either past or future events. as i developed my abilities i started to have more memories of past deaths. These memories come to me not in my dreams but as a vision and rememberance the more my abilities develope. A psychic friend of mine has gone over these past lives with me and described to me what occured before these deaths and what led me to them. All i remember tho are the deaths, and now i wonder if these past lives are the reason i am constantly bombarded with sharp stabing pains in parts of my body that i have never been injured in during this life. Possibly an echo of past life injuries.
I semi-agree with xsaltinurwoundsx in that one does start over without the knowledge of their previous life - -
that kind of knowledge *can* however, be pulled out depending upon subjective experiences which provoke deja vu every time and then that person chooses to look into the reason for that feeling either through a medium or self-study in genealogy and history, etc...
I think it is possible to start off where you left off but it may take a while in you new life before you do. I have seen a few progammes about it and many of them say when you get to a certain age you will start to show signs of the previous you without knowing it. Eventaully you will pick up where you left off but you wont relise that you have, it will all seem normal to you. The only way that this can be proven is if someone from your former life notices these similarities in your new life.
Well if reincarnation is the method du jour for achieving peace/nirvanna/etc...it would be a rather cruel joke to place the soul back in position one without having the ability to use what it learned in the next race. I know that it wouldn't have to mean a full memory, or we'd all be a very confused society with overlapping memories and feelings for each other...but I would have to believe (if I were inclined to believe in reincarnation at all) that your 'soul' at least retained some new instincts or feelings toward certain actions or morals in order to give you a fighting chance at success to the next level
the tarot card of the world reminds me of reincarnation actually

Reincarnation... I wonder if you are a killer and die- would it carry over into the next life? You hear of the killers that people call shy. quiet, and from a good family? Were does that killer come from? Makes you think......
Yes I do, and I believe that very much. Past lives influence previous habits and likes. Why I like cemeteries- my previous life roamed cemeteries. And the one before- was raped and murdered. Each one influences the next- i believe.
I do believe in reincarnation. But i don't think you would left off where you were. I think you would be different in the next life.
Quiet Killers may come from the reincarnation of another killer. But then again they may not my theory is that everything starts over once you die. Your memories are scattered and thats why some have gifts that they cant explain. They may have had them in a past life and they carried over into the next one.
om not sure what i believe but i do believe in reincarnation the soul i believe the souls never dies andhat is the explation for dejuv
the soul never dies and there is nothing that i believe could change that fact.
It is like one big cycle. The vessel dies the soul search for a new vessel and restarts from the beginning
the grand arcitect has the answers to that question .....but its not the same life so i guess when you start over you may retain some of the habits that make you who you are ....but if who you are changes from life to life how would you ever figure that out?....anyway this is a good topic to discuss that is one of the reasons i like you you make this place interesting...*smiles and gives you candy*....he he...i believe that cancer wrote a bit about the subject....check it out!
Do I believe that our souls are recycled? If they are I want my deposit back every time it happens.
Yes..it is posible that we pick up where we left off..i'm a frim beliver in karma. I belive that everything we do in this life, reflects upon our souls when we move on to the next life.
I know this is a short post..but 'm only runing on 4 hours of sleep..night night
I believe that if we were meant to meet someone in every lifetime, we would meet them. If that person is there to change something in the lives we live or have lived before then we will meet them weather it is a good thing or a bad one.
I am definetly open to the possibility of reincarnation, and I often get uncanny feelings of purpose in my actions and thoughts, but the truth of it, who can say?
Regarding the state of the soul in rebirth, I would like to pose the question, Nature or Nurture? which determines more the nature of our character?...?
I have mixed thoughts with the karmic heirachy though, and perceptions of "good" and "bad"..."reward" and "punishment" in direct relation to previous lives.
I think the good are never reincarnated but the bad are reincarnated to be plagued by the fact they can never leave the earth
I read up about this a while ago and the author's theory really interested me. He said that the soul sets a goal for itself before it comes back to life as well as certain things like likes and dislikes that have no reason for being there modify something from their past life. Also some things they might remember, like places (which I think we could've all guessed) as well as certain other things. Some examples that he used were truly amazing. I don't remember much, but I do remember the part about a little boy flying over Louisiana once with his mother, looking down and saying that it looks like Ithaca. The whole plane burst out laughing, knowing very well that Ithaca is in Africa and looks nothing like Louisiana because of how dry it is now. He mentioned that centuries ago Ithaca used to be a beautiful green place that looked like paradaise until it dried out. He said that the boy was so sure of his words that even later when others thought they'd convinced him otherwise he still believed it looked just like Ithaca. Now, I don't know whether to think anything of it or not, after all he was only 6, but I think it could very well be a modifier of his past life. I also myself believe that souls that love each other will continue on living together - that is if they truly love each other.
I have an example myself. This past summer my mother, my sister, and I went to the Palace in St. Petersburg in Russia. They still have some of the original furnishing there. Actually, I was quite impressed with how well they preserved some of the items there. But anyway, while passing through one of the beautiful rooms we saw a loveseat. Once we saw it my sister (who is not a child like in the other story, but is now 27) said that she remembered that loveseat and she remembered walking around in those rooms and she remembered sitting on that loveseat. She also said that the loveseat was in the previous room and not the one that it was displayed in. Of course like in any museum the furniture was sectioned off so the public couldn't cause any harm to it. She said it seemed like she remembered it from a dream or something of that sort. (now this next part is just for chucks and giggles) Later on we were walking through another room where they had portraits of all the royalty and the family. On one of them my mother said the girl looked exactly like me (which i didnt really think, but i guess mother knows best). On another one was already my oppinion - it looked a lot like my sister, with hair done up and the dress, but the face looked a lot like her and so I told my mother that. She smiled and said, "There you go. You and your sister were here in your past lives as the royalty."
I know, I always write these long boring posts that noone probably even takes the time to read them whole if any at all, but the conclusion is that I don't think the soul starts from where it left off, I think it trys to start over, trying to fix what it didn't do right the last time, so I bet some mistakes that we make, we made in our past lives, because everyone knows- once a mistake is forgotten it will most likely repeat itself.
oh this is probably silly, but i have a birth mark on the front part of my left hip. it is on the same level as my hip bone, about an inch to the right of it. Over the years as I grew it stretched and faded and now you can barely see it, but it is oval shaped horizontally and when I was little it was a lot thinner. It looked like an incision from a knife of some sort. I remember when I was little I liked to think that I was stabbed right there to death in my past life. And I know, it's kinda disturbing, but I have thought of it as if I was raped, then stabbed. Mind you, this was when I was about 5 or 6 that I thought of it. Maybe that could mean something.
i do believe in reincarnation yet i believe when we come back some of us will have are full memories and go on living a same yet different life where as others wont have all there memory if any and start off new! i believe we are reincarnated but everyone is different in how they come back!
I do believe in re-incarnation very much so. I agree with dng and BillytheJust to. For when i so call my physical body dies, my soul will go on to another period of time. Maybe as a dolphin for which i want to be creamated and tossed into the Ocean.
