If you had your own house here on the rave ....., how would you run it?

I would make it nice and dark. I would bring out the true meaning of vampire.

...is this to debate how certain people run things, then?

I'd choose those who wished to know, to learn, who would help others more as a study group.

I'd organize times to speak in forum-style, and grace those who wished it, my blessing and advice.

I do most now as best I can, minus the need for a House or Coven--though there is one (not here) that I admire, I strive to be a leader among leaders and bring those up who have lost their way.

i will be honest and say i do not know. all things change. so the end result would not mirror its start. you would most certainly have to change it with time and circumstance.

i would choose to attack other houses with +2 mace?

It would be ruled with an iron fist.

Nah, I'd probably have someone else run it, with me as the figurehead. I don't really like being in power.

I agree with LaMuerte - no leadership roles for me.

I am too much of a free spirit to be a leader...or else I am just the type who enjoys blazing my own trail - a leader without followers.

That's not an easy question to answer, I think you would have to be in the position to actually be able to answer it honestly.

In a very comprehensible way but at the same time a bit disiciplined when needed.

I would run it as a combination of things I have learned from the current and previous House Masters. Ain't no easy task peeps... sure I want a 'family', a place to share and spread knowledge, have good laughs, and strive to be the best~ the best being a place where the members feel like they are HOME...

That being said, as a sappy chic I'd love to have a closeness with the members- but I have learned your eyes need to be ever-open in the front and behind your head... a certain sense of distance must be kept in order to not be blind-sided.

Having a House sounds cool eh? Also sounds like one big old pain in the ass. I'd take the pain, of course~ But I realize I could not do it alone, and would need serious trustworthy assistance. And most of the trusting folks are happily in current homes. Much thought would have to be put into it- not forgetting any bases that need covering.

I'd brainwash everyone in my house and make them my minions.. and then they would be forced to clean my house, wash my car and do my laundary - which would greatly free up my time. Then I would conquer the world.

Or I'd get a decent staff and delegate.. but Queen of the world sounds cooler.

I would create it based on similar foundations exsisting in those I already run and belong to. I believe education is important as well as belonging, community and accountability.

i wouldnt want to be saddled with that. i have to many things to do in life then to worry about others.

i like my freedom.

id have a couple of member things goin on like games and forums so that people can get to no each other in the house better, some bits where members can just look at stuff others have done and ......
it would have music in there...also members would be aloud to put there on music in there so others can listen to it.

Confused about this "leaders" thing. You are talking about Master Vampires that run and control Houses. They do not have to be nice to you or anyone else for that matter. They may or not want to be leaders to everyone. You may learn from them but that does mean they need to teach or lead you anywhere.

I Have a feeling the original reason for this thread being made is a double edged sword...

And both edges are very dull.
