Iv always been interested in stuff like that. I even watch tv shows on it when theres a show on.. but there not on till midnite or later..

i believe that some paranormal happenings are real, but i think that a lot of the ones that happen on tv are false. i think they do a lot of that just for the ratings and not for informational purposes.

yeah, there's the occasional true story on the television. there's certain ones though that you can definitely tell are completely made up

well, i dunno, some of the animal ones are true i think. i don't believe in the loch ness monster or anything, but the ones where animals sense the spirits are very likely in my opinion. i believe that animals are more in tune with the spiritual world then we'll ever be. i don't believe in the miracle stories often though simply because a lot of them have been blown out of proportion

yea i diffenitely believe in the animal sensing of spirits too.. my cat can always sense if theres something there, she just sort of looks around like shes aware of a person standing there

yeah, the whole fact that animals can sense evil i believe is true. my animals love me to death, but when people that i can't stand because they've wronged me somehow or people i know aren't morally correct come close to them, they usually cower back to my side or attack them. some people haven't realized how truely advanced animal are when it comes to how much they truely comprehend

yea, im very close with my kitty, she always seems to protect me. Shes not a very cuddly cat so she never cuddles with people but she always cuddles with me and falls asleep in my arms, i love her to death

yeah. my sis kae has a cat named miss kitty that has bitten so many people that it's not funny... yet it still is. i can't help but to laugh when it happens becuase it usually happens to guys that are hitting on her

so do i, but there was a book on this thing called specinism or something to that effect that said that animals shouldn't have the same rights as humans when infact, animals should have just as much. it mentioned how if you're driving down a road and hit a squirell, you'll just say "oh well, it was just a squirell" where as with a toddler, you'd swerve and avoid. the only reason why it's more likely someone would swerve would be the fine, the jail time, and the bitching you'd get from the family of said toddler.

yeah. i think everything was created equally, but as time has progressed some things have been left behind simply because they are not understood. in all actuallity animals are probably more advanced than us. they don't have wars, sure they feed off each other, but that's the life cycle. we don't have the spiritual abilities or the same comprehension level as them. since they don't speak a language that we understand, we automatically blow it off

i think the animals rea the most thing to be blowen off. hardlly any one treats them with respect. or fully understands the,. i mean look at us. dont get me worng some humans are smart. but i mean we do mure stupid theings then anilas do. animals have been herer way longer then then we have. and we feed off of them too, i mean ppl jsut dont get it. alot of ppl dont. if u think aobut it. i always wonder what the animals were saying about us. like they must think we are realyl stupid or something.

I can never seem to be able to see them when they are near by... it seem i can only sense them or see a movement of a shadow or curtains moving when theres no air vent near by or window opened... small stuff like that

i've seen a few things and had a few things happen to me that weren't so minor, but then there were other times where i just felt a presence and there was no one there or felt like i was being watched and no one appeared, but those where minor

I believe that you have to first acknowledge that spirits exist. Once you have established a understanding of the existance of beings then you can decifer if they exist.

I dont believe a light exist as an anomoly that is visible.

wel I do believe in it and in those orbs of light I saw it a few monts ago crepy it looked like the moon but then it moved and then it got away extremely fast, and a min later I saw the moon on the opposid side of where the ball was

i believe in all of it..i have studied this subject matter for 16 years straight now and there is nothing like it. i do paranormal research as well... and it is always good to have teh skeptics to go with it because it keeps a balance of whats known and whats not .

I do believe in paranormal concepts. I own an old house and both my husband and I have seen a "shadow" in the doorway of our kitchen numerous times. We feel it is the woman who had the house built and died in it.
When my grandfather died, I felt a cold wind and I was sitting in my house with the windows closed. I felt a strong presence and knew it was my grandfather. I did not know he had died, but I did note the time I felt the wind. About half an hour later, my mother called me to tell me he had died. I still feel he was saying goodbye as we were very close. At that time, we lived over 500 miles apart from each other.

is one show called creepy canada, sure it's pretty intresting but how can you tell if
it's real or not, and with same with Most haunted places

tv is very hard to believe. i have been through paranormal societies handbooks and everything and can give you a helpfull hint as to whats real and not especially on tv. if any show throws a seance to give show, then its not real. every societies books ive read national and international all say the same thing.

All paranormal is just made up, overactive imaginations, don't you think that if they were real that people would know about it? I mean c'mon, how many people have died with "unfinished buisness" or whatever the reason is, and yet they don't show up, and the ouiji board? I find it funny that you can think you may call the dead with a mass produced game by parker brothers.

um, Houdini told his mother an answer to a question he would ask her in a seance after she died.

Houdini believed in the supernatural or paranormal, but he went to very many poeple who the run the shows at the seances I don't know what they are called, and none of them ever were able to get Houdini's mother to answer the question right. They did claim to be talking to her, but she never had the right answer. Houdini was demystified.

Orbs of light happen in photography because there is too many sources of light going into the aperture. They use lens shades to help filter too many light sources.

I have heard some stories. Yeah, there were two relatives on a death bed, and one knew the other had just died and was calling the other to be witrh them.

another thing that shouldn't have been allowed to happen by the laws of physics, ws some guy died in a motorcycle accident, and they trhew a party for him a few days later. They smoked up some hallucinagenics, and they all saw him sitting ona bed in a room. and he ws dead. I believe humans are very susceptible to hypnosis of suggestion. I am prey to this too. I go with hypnotism because I like it. But hyponotism can only be given power if you let the magician cast their spell over you, otherwise the hypnotism doesn't work. This dead dudde they all must have wanted to see, so on the hallucinagenics they were able to see what the others saw, a form of suggestion. I do however have come to my own personal understanding because of people like ARIDAI and others, who have powers, that there are powers that brought out by drugs are there in existant in some naturally. These people can sense the paranormal. I can't.

Animals have different powers than humans. It is true, mammals are like 40 million years old, we all branched off from the little furry things crawling under the feet of dinosaurs, BUt we are the most recent adaptation and perfection of life. We knoiw what is and what is not, yet we don't smell as good as a dog, we have color vision but we do not see better than an eagle, we don't know what is going on inside animals heads, why they can feel that a person is unpredictible and untrustworthy, they might have these 6th senses I am talking about humans lost when they lost their imaginations by knowing the rule of truth. Truth limits, imagiations do not keep the mind open for hypnotic suggection, we are know it alls with closed minds, and as such, we do not see what the dog in the dark sees with the glowing eyes. Our eyes do not glow, they have different eyes, maybe they see differently if they have a sense of smelll 200 times that of a human.

I am not sure what level of paranormal behaviour exists in this universe. But i am sure it exists in some form. The entry about animals are very much true. I have shared a few chats with my uncle who i scientist in zooology and related sciences. He is also fasinated by the paranormal happening that everyone hears. It is in his opinion that like animals can sense natural calamities and disasters, they can also sense the paranormal. It could be in their mental ability to process these paranormal signals in lieu of their power to distinguish the power of thinking that we were bestowed with.

Like a soul speaking to you from 500 Kms apart humans can also sense and understand these signals - but it requires your brain to think in a different level and your mind set to urge for it the max. Like her love or intimacy for her grandfather - let her know about his death even before her mom informed her.

If there is mud, and pottery the end of it, then there sure exists the transformation path of it. So its of my opinion that if there is normal and abnormal - there sure is paranormal too. Its that only a very few understand even if they get a paranormal signal.

i don't really believe in ghosts maybe orbs, but i have walked inn many graveyards at night and have never seen a ghost. I have heard stuff that wasn't there like footsteps but never seen spirits

I had a really bizarre experience like a month ago, i was in the shower and i saw an orb, i was just staring at it at first to try and figure out what the bleeding heck it was. Then i splashed water at it, it disappeared and then all of a sudden came back, lol so i sprayed it again and it went for good.
That night, i was just falling asleep all splayed out in bed with my arm underneath the pillow and i felt like i had been electrocuted i felt a shock ripple up my arm and and light, but from the inside of my eyes, its hard to explain.
Woke me straight up though and the first thought that came to me without even fore thinking about it, i shouldn't have splashed that orb!!
At first i thought it was some kind of psy vamp attack or a dream invasion. But now as i recall it i think it was a ghost entity! Now i'm open minded, but still have a streak of skeptisism, i can pick apart the pros and cons of paranormal and religious subject matter without favouring one side.
But i knew this was a paranormal event!!

do I believe in ghosts and appriations? Yes, definatly.
do I believe in orbs? I believe ther are orbs, but I do not believe the millions of pictures of them. I can go out, smoking a cigarette and take a picture and have an orb of light from the smoke, or from a speck of dust, or from a moth, etc etc. I believe there are too many facotrs in every day life to accuratly account for orbs on photos.

I believe that other alternate realities exist right here and its really not some (out there) place where these things come from, I think everything Pysical to paranormal just exists on different levels of reality and if we can align ourselves them we can learn more about them and see more, like opening a floodgate.

I would like to take the time out to discuss this matter, as i know that everyone has the abilities to sence or feel spirits. The ability comes with practice and the maturity of the person. If u learn to control ur emotions and open ur mind to the experience you will learn to "feel" such things. Through the proper meditation and relaxation techniques u too can learn to feel the spirits around u.

I have had some paranormal experiences when I was a child. I decided to block them b/c mine scared the s**t out of me! I do believe we are surrounded by the ones we loved from time to time and they do things to let us know they are there.

I believe the paranormal exists, I have a little animal spirit, a cat, that has followed me even when I have moved.

Okay I might get talk back rude for htis but I don't belive in any of those, even if I am on this site. Still my mom keeps telling em about it and that I have to let the "spirits" talk to me, cause they harrass me ( i think they are demons) And she say I can do stuff wiht enrgy thing (I have no clue but she say its making things happen by will) And also I have two poeple I know hwo are empath, and sometimes I feel them coles tome, ether tickling me or other stuf...still I think its pur coincidence.
Anyway I know its sad but I think one thing about this site is that we can be honest in our response when we want too without fear of jugement or harrassement. And I am being honest, sorry.

i definitely believe! my house is placed on top of magnetic rock, which attracts many spiritual entities. i am often seeing little flashes and orbs and even actual entities. i have seen and talked to a faerie before, and there's this little dragon that likes to stop by sometimes. so if you're interested about the paranormal, i can most likely help you out with any questions.

I believe that there are ghosts. I have seen many myself. I grew up with some that never seemed to want to leave. They would never look at you, it was almost as though you weren't there and they never did anything scary so of course I was never scared. We lived in a house in Manchester that had several ghosts. The most they would do would be move things around a bit and stand around staring into something only they were able to see. So yes I do believe in the paranormal.

I am a "ghost hunter". I travel around the state of Michigan to places that are haunted or have stories of there being a haunting. I also check out old cemeteries. I have been to places that have only 6 head stones and go back as far as the 1600's. I visit a place called Ada. It is a small town. The woods we hike on have a tale of love, adultry and death. In the woods as you are on path in the night, you will see small orbits that try to lead you off the path. If you follow the orbits, you will think you are right on it and then it will appear to be the same distance as it was before. You will never reach it. The hike is very rough terrane. If you are injured out there, you better hope someone hikes and hears your yells. If not then you are left on your own. I also have countless pictures of orbs.

As far as people "appearing", I do believe this as well. I have seen my mother appear in the living room. My best friend has seen this as well. She didn't know my mother but, knew of her. I have seen things since I was a child.

My house is haunted. It is getting worse by the night. It started off with a very angry feeling in a certain part of the kitchen. Along with the feeling of being watched. Then it came to the feeling of someone running up behind you breathing down your neck. There are sounds of footsteps on the stairs and throughout the kitchen. To sleep in the living room is impossible. You feel eyes watching you. Almost as though they are sitting across from you. You feel anger, hostility, and rage from the source. It has now started to walk throughout the living room and laugh. I am not scared of it like everyone else it. I have told it off and challanged it. I have even used sage on the area. It will not leave. Only get worse when it comes back full force.

Night time in my house isn't a grand old time.

I do believe in the paranormal. The world, universe is to big to think there isn't anything else out there. I believe there are spirits, because some a trapped here or need to be here for a reason.

I don't think ghosts are evil, I think they are good people who have had their lives snacthed from them, and they haunt the world until the rectify their lives through revenge, or speaking with someone before they can move on to the next life. We all have an itinerary. We can BS ourselves all our lives but once we die we have to face the music and get the record from stopping skipping at the end of the LP record.

I have been a medium for most of my life some call us ghost whisperers some call us slyvia browne wanna bes. Ghosts exist I both see them and hear them and its a hard life to live. sometimes I have to run and hide in my closet or under my covers and say its not happing its not real i am crazy I cant go in to places like The Winchesters Mannor sara is way to strong and angry some grave yards are not for me.

i definately believe in the paranormal. i've personally had experienced paranormal activity in my home. i've felt like some one was watching me from behind when no one was in the room and at one point what ever is in my house actually came into physical contact with me by touching my hair. it was very creepy. and it also told me when the laundry was done which freaked me right out.

I believe in the paranormal although I have yet to witness a paranormal act. i may have seen an angel once or what appeared to be one. It was all colors of light and what appeared to be glitter. It was only for a few seconds though. I wonder if angels are real?

Cynical as I am, I've seen too many... well, ghosts, spirits, apparitions, whatever they were, to say that they don't exist. Pesky eyewitness evidence, ruining my beautiful cynic streak.

So yes, I agree that there are things out there, and I will believe in the possibility of practically anything until it's proven one way or the other. What they are, exactly, I'm not sure, as they haven't told me what they are, and even if they did, they could be lying.

The most recent paranormal type experience that I can Recall off hand was a few years back when working security at a hospital. This place had so much wierd stuff going on. anyhow my primary assignment was the ER and Behavioral Health. they are on opposite sides of the hospital (almost diametric opposites) at a full run it takes 2 minutes to get from the ER to BH. while walking w/ a co-worker there we were timed at just over 30 sec.
then there were times that driving from ER to BH would take 7 minutes or more when it should be no more than 2.
Freaked out lots of co-workers at a meating with that. (misspelled on purpose)as an fyi the times were logged off a cell network at time of radio call to time arrived as is required by admin of hospital. (to determine efficiency) and departure point was the ER.I find where there are lots of "looneys" reality kindof comes undone add death and lots of it then its worse. There was other stuff too but dont want to take up too much space.

The paranormal is just something made up from a long time ago, if you believe in these things then you will see them, if you don't then you do not see them, just like if a pan falls and you can't explain it right away, people automaticall;y believe it's a ghost or spirit, it gets annoying when people don't look at the obvious.

I would like to believe in the paranormal, i grew up on The X-files :s so thats a really big part of my life wondering, questioning. It gives me something to think about.

I believe in the paranormal. I have seen shadowy things, but never the apparition of an actual person. I have felt things, such as a cold spot. While reading this thread, about half way through, I got really cold all over, but no goose bumps. It wasn't physical in origin. Some of my experiences are in my journal on here. I haven't yet seen the orbs of light, I don't think, but I'm not really sure. I was in the cemetery one summer evening about 9 pm -- I was visiting my father's grave -- and I heard a coyote howl. I knew it was time for me to go. The light in the cemetery got very eerie -- brighter somehow, but not in a physical sense. I could feel beings watching me, closing in on me, to make sure I left. My time was done -- it was their time, and I was not welcome.

Yes, I do believe in the paranormal. I've seen an apparition before; it was less than 5 feet away from me. Saw full details of it too...also I've seen orbs a few times but it was real quick. Nothing too exciting or anything.

This is an interesting subject to monitor actually.
I do not believe that it is a matter of whether you believe or not, but rather, if you have seen yet. I use these words because I believe everyone is capable of seeing. They just need to open their minds to receive.
I have seen some scary things paranormal wise, but I have also seen the beautiful side. I was lucky enough to be given a message from my nephew to his brother from the 'other side'. It was amazing... And orbs, orbs are the most beautiful of the paranormal in my opinion. Especially if you can see them in multitude.

I have both seen and heard the paranormal. Orbs are beautiful. I have not experienced the opposite of the beautiful yet, and do not much know if I care to. Although it would be interesting at least once.

i can tell you from personall experiance that the paranormal exist wether it is an actuall human spirit is unknown but it is true that something that we can only sometimes see in hightened states of perseption can be seen. Sadly my experience was with a hostile "spirit" for lack of better words, and it made me feel like every bad memorie came into my head at one time and when i tried to think of happier things it just became worse dont know if anyone else has had the same but that was mine.

I am a believer!! I have had to many things happen for me not to believe, and for those of you who don't believe I understand where you would find it hard to think its true until it happens to you.

yes i beleive in them iv actually taken pix of them b 4 at my x gfs house a few months ago i got a shit load of orbs inside and out =side the house ive gotten immages of faces and an immage of wut appeared to be sumthing movein to the top of the house and ever since i got thoes pix ive had weirs earie feelings everywhere ive lived and have seen things and felt things arround the house and have had strange things happen to me

My brother photographs these "orbs". He says's they're manifestations of spirits. I've seen the photos. I suppose you could see faces in them if you looked hard enough.

I've expierienced energies and have encountered a spirit. I was more scared then anything and didn't know what to do.

In Australia the "natural" orbs of light are called min-mins and they are the very frustrating type ... people say that htey are the souls of the dead miners that were never found ... these are the ones that get close and then go away in to the distance when people try and follow them. these are found all over australia in suburban or rural locations . and the para normal does exist as my shed and bathroom are haunted and they don't just go bump in the night...

One of my most chilling momenst with a paranormal was when I was laying in bed about to go sleep. No one is home for the weekend and I have the apartment completely to my self. As soon as I brushed my teeth and laid in bed. I crossed my arms behind my and relaxed for a bit thinking about the day. As I closed my eyes for a brief second I felt these chilly hands grasp my wrists and hold them down tightly. I couldn't really move or open my eyes (even though I tried) but the cold hands felt as if they were grasping my bones. After maybe 3 seconds it let go and I got up like a bat out of hell looking around every corner of my room. It happened several more times but not as violent. I soon after moved out of that apartment.

ever seen something and then tried to follow it? i've done it too many times and still haven't found it ... the orbs of light "dance" backwark and froward in the air as if beckoning but when you just close enough they disappear as quickly as they came.

I have had so many things happen in my lifetime starting as a young child till now that it would take up way to much space to explain them all . ( I know and belive)

I believe in it, not sure about the orb thing though. I've seen a lot of times that the orb(s) could have just been dust.

I believe that what we do not know will fascinate us until the end of time. None of us know what REALLY happens after death and we as humans cannot fathom that after we live tortured, hectic lives that we simply die and become fertilizer. We NEED to believe that we go on to SOMETHING else. It is human nature to want to prolong our existance somehow.
Apparitions, poltergiest, or other unworldly creatures have been in lore since time and memorial. Each culture has it's own ideas, from the Irish Banshee and chupacabra to the modern "boogyman". We are fascinated and thrilled by the fear from very early ages BECAUSE we do not know for certain. It is fear that drives teenage boys and girls to camp out in a "haunted house", it is the same fear that sends them running from that house when a rodent makes a far off noise within it's walls, and it is that thrill that will lend credence to thier childhood memories.
As for myself, Yes...I believe that the dead walk...in many forms...for many reasons...
My heritage of Irish and Indian refuse to let me NOT believe in such things when the very stories, the lore are in my blood. I have, myself seen a few things that caused even me a moment of pause. I find the prospects fascinating, and the idea of something that makes me "afraid" in turn makes me feel ALIVE.

I totally believe in these events. But I didn't until I, myself, experienced them. I took up "ghost hunting" as a hobby about a year ago with a friend of mine and it has definately been an interesting hobby to have.
