I know that a good deal of the vamps on VR feed psychically, myself included. Perhaps this is a strange question to be asking but I'm curious. I've had encounters with other vamps who will use every means at their disposal to raise the energy level in their donor and get a good feed. And when they are done, their donor is not just empty of energy but emotionally injured.

How far would you go for a good feed?

My X was a psychic Vamp. He would start fights just to raise my energy. it took me about 6 months to realize what he was doing. It really sux.

So we've got two people who say they'd kill for a good feed. I say bullshit. What's stopped you so far? If killing is so instinctive then why aren't you already serial killers, stalking and killing for the feed? I understand that the question dealt with pushing the envelope in order to raise energy levels but let's stay in the real world.

Oh but, Felix, they will tell you that they are... and in between serial killing, they had the time to call Dell and buy a PC. ;)

Hey, everything I do is consentual. But I myself am not into the whole psyvamp thing.

I wouldnt go that far... I usually have a emotional connection with those that I feed off of.... Plus I am usually around enough people that I can feed off the miniscul amounts that people put off naturally

RowanTears - Am I correct in assuming that the moral question at heart here is how far you would push a donor in order to raise the energy level (as one person commented, creating arguments or heightened emotional/sexual situations in order to create more energy), or are you working toward some other moral issue like draining to the point of injury on a donor?

Far enough to leave a lasting impression for certain. And in pain, we all grow; so going so far as to cause physical or emotional pain would be no problem for me. So how far would I go? As far as is necessary, as far as will not injure the shredded tatters I call morals.

I myself have learnt from mistakes. My boyfriend is a Lycan and once i drained him too much and he got peckish himself and with little energy left it was hard to fight to cravings.

It is a moral question. Which is more important to us........that we feed well at the expense of our donor or that we treat our donor with the respect and reverence that they deserve and feed only till we have what we need leaving our donors in good health.

I would say respect the donors. Have more than one donor to compensate.

First- FelixFelix is cool.

Second- I never take it so far as to injure a feed but I will drain them to exhaustion. I don't believe that I've yet damaged anyones aura.

I would go as far as I could with out injuring or damaging anyone. Pleasure can boost energy levels as much or more than pain!

I wouldn't go so far as to purposly raise the energy to get a good feed. It's wrong, and the donor does not need to be injured like that

I could never force a donor to do anything against their will, just to get a good feed.

I sometimes, when out playing music, deliberately walks around the crowd, and because their adrenaline is pumping and their energy level is rasied, I will draw from that.

Everything is build on consent.

I must admit that on a few occasions I have started arguments just to raise a person's energy levels. But I don't do that any longer. I'm begining to practice control and learning how to take only a little from people. Plus, now I let my doners know, before I had just taken without their knowledge or consent. I say, respect those willing to aid you in your hunger. It's only fair after all. So, in regards to the question, I don't push anyone anymore. I find it easier just to take in small amounts from more then one person.

I would feed until I was satisfied. Weather it be physically emotionally or both.

I think one should respect their donors. No matter what we are, morals and values should have a place in our lives. There is no justifying intentionally hurting someone. Feeding in small amounts, with no damage done, is one thing. But, you guys talking about killing? Don't get me started...

i do whatever it takes to feed...i have no emotional ties to anyone and would exspect the same from whom-ever i'm feeding from-we knew what we came here for so they shouldn't exspect more i know i don't.....

I don't think i actually "feed" on energy in the sense that is being discussed in this forum, but I always find that if I can raise someone elses, energy it also raises my own. I like getting my friends really hyper because it will help me to have fun too. We kind of feed off of each other's energy.

if my lust was strong enough, im not sure.... id probably go insane trying not to kill others, but i would probably go as far as to feed off a cow

this has been quite an education for me. i cannot feed off negative energy, i feed off sexual energy (i'll tease to raise the energy level), but find negative energy has the opposite effect - i feel totally drained. also, travel has a similar effect. this explains so much though. maybe negative atmospheres make me leak energy, or maybe a lot of the people i know are psychic vampires. are there any more like me here?

As a donor, I would only give blood or energy to a vampire who would stop when I said so.

It is dangerous and disrespectful to feed for longer then the donor is comfortable, I would think any of you that admit to draining your donor untill you are satisfied/to the point of exasion have a hard time finding and keeping donors.

and then there are those who dont realize what they are doing..and those who cannot or do not know how to stop....Ive encountered both and because of up bringing or religon they rejected my help..yet they continue to injure those around them.I had to learn at an early age to control my needs...I found out early how easy it was to hurt someone.And if you kill all the food then theres none left..now is there?And then you starve.

if its a constistant donor, I will continue to take excellent care of them, as I always have. The provide me with somthing I need to get by and they do it out of respect and love for me. Thus I treat them with the same if not more than they do me.
If its just a meal, or someone who pissed me me off, I dont care how far I take it. Im done taking when Im done taking. Not when thet're done giving.

If on the other hand, Im actually feeding, as I perfer to do, via blood, then I feed 100% consentually. I feed my donors, and take care of the wounds I inflicted, make sure they are taken care of and then send them on there way until next time, unless they just want to spend time. You wouldnt want to by a bruised apple, by would you want to feed of an emotionally bruised donor?
Ive only ever fed 2 times without consent, but that was out of self defence, and I even at that I feel bad enough about.

I am a donor to my sister when the occasion calls for it, and vice versa. when we need to raise one anothers energy, we use positive methods such as frustrating puzzles, video games, or other non physically exerting challenges to raise as much as needed over a mid range period of time, so it pretty much ends up being a good day for the both of us, and one or the other gets what they need.

I would go as far as necessary to insure satisfaction. I understand the moral issue you are pointing out and I think it comes down in many ways to how willing the prey when it comes to psy energy. Someone who is resistant will certianly suffer some emotional harm. You get a more powerful energy flow from someone who is giving. However there is nothing like the fear from the fresh, unexperianced ones. I believe this emotional state will quickly pass and subside after the next feeding session.

I wouldn't go as far as totaly harming the person but i would leave them is some pain, but to increase energy i would stalk them bring the fear up.

On psy feeding... i dont like people angry, in fact ive feed my husband down to a quiet crab in stead of a raging bull by feeding off him. i have always found the feeling is better when its .. excited or happy energy.. maybe because thats somethign i lack sometimes. I dont mind feeding off those who dont know anybetter.. my kids call um Muggles heheh, i dont feed off thoese in the know i think its rude. On the actuall blood letting.. its been a long time but i still feed off my self, but it aint the same, tho if memory serves right i like beer blood. werid? maybe but i think it tastes better. Djevelhund - I don't understand how the iron content in you're blood could raise without ingestion of large amounts of iron.

How many of you are speaking about psi feeding and how many about sang?

For a sang vampire I would think one would have to repect their donor, for a psi there are so many different sources to take from I don't see why anyone would need to take so much from one source to cause harm.

Okay, the only time I think I would push for a better feed is while having sex, and that would be with permission. I wouldn't do something that would hurt the person I'm feeding off of. I always use donors (for blood and psy energy), so why would I want to hurt them? I'd loose my donor and that would be bad.

Too be honest.. it would depend on the situation and my state of mind when feeding. I prefer good vibrant energy of someone that is happy or aroused than to someone with negative. But in the absolute dire need I would most likely take just enough to bring me back from anyone.

One does not need to feed off of the energy of a living entity to survive. If one has crossed your path in the wrong way, simply harvest their wasted time.

I have gone so far as to sleep with an ex even though we were through with the relationship to get fed. it didnt end well and have not done so since. he was the last active donor i had for blood.

I would push the envolope as far as I possibly could. Short of death, as I have never had anyone die on me during.

I am a psy and drain mostly from willing donors......yes getting a persons emotions heightened does make for a better feed but I would never do anything to take the life of another being thats just wrong

i would go to all lengths to gain my feeding. if you put it into the appropriate context feeding vamp to vamp is a very enjoyable thing. sounds like you are holding on to your mortality instead of embracing your imortality.

I'm still wondering about the process of feeding psychically (i.e. of other people's emotions).
If you want to feed, what course of action do you take? What does draining mean?

Well, have you ever walked into a room full of emotionally charged people (say, a nightclub?) and felt that the energy they were releasing was almost tangible? It's really easy to tap the energy in that kind of situation, just feel it flow into yourself.

Is it me, or are there way to many RPGers on this site?
In my personal oppionion, anyone who uses the phrase "I would stalk my prey until...." has rolled one to many D20 in my oppinion. Honestly, Im a gamer myself, but I think some people here might be taking there game abit to seriously. My game is my game and my life is my life. Honestly, I enjoy being what I am, who I am and how I am, I really do. But I enjoy it because I dont have a choice and if I didnt force myself to enjoy it, Id have killed myself years ago. I wouldnt wish vampisism on anyone. Its not exactly the life its made out to be.

Sorry for the rant, but RPGers who want to be something there not, and have no consept of what it is to live with a sincer blood lust along with other symptoms piss me off.

As fare as needed since it willmake me after that so strong emotionly that nothing would harm me ever again in my life.

True, I go no farther than that. And I don't disagree with you about the huge number of RPGers. They just keep appearing, don't they?

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that energy is just energy - chi/lifeforce/mana ect. It cannot be postive or negative. The energy released from any kind of excitement (hapiness, fear, arousal ect) is all the same. I don't understand how anyone who feeds from energy, or has a basic understanding of psionics, would be unable to feed from so called negative energies.

I would go on an all night hunt and feed from one person to the next so i canbe carefull not to take too much from just one person.
