has any body here ever tried to purposely
communicate with a friend with olny there minds??

I have with my now decesed friend Sally and She would hold an image in her head ..real vividly then I would tell her what I thought i saw in her head

we practised this often and we got to the point where she could tell me what i was thinking and picturing every time in exact detail it was too much... Kool. she died about 4 years ago and i have never tried it with anyone again..Thanks

It olny worked when I thought it I think because my imagination is so vivid i could throw it and shed catch it but hers wasnt as strong so she didnt imagine it strong enough for me to catch so to speak....make sense?

well theres times where me and my friends or me and my fiance would be thinking the same thing and would take the words right out of our mouth.. is that what u mean? when two people r thinking the same?

sometimes i could feel when the phone is goin to ring as well....

some times when my ma lived along way away from me I d come into my house and i could smell her..she smells so good...

but she wasnt there .. any way..shes psycic and has dreams about us kids and she could call us ans say.. i had a dream about you last night then go into detail about what it was the particular one of us (her kids) did the night she dreamed it she does to this day all the time... weird..

okie ive done that before but we werent trying to do it,it just happened.

my mom is the same.... she is very spirtual.. she has dream ... i have dreams as well.... sometimes i think of my grand father, who died and i can feel him near... i get goose bums... i love it.....

It is definitely possible, but you either need to be intimately linked with someone (to share thoughts without trying) or both be able to let down your mental barriers and feel your partners.

The experience can often be replicated without training by people who are inebriated. When intoxicated your body can't concentrate as much on keeping up the mental barriers so the link can sometimes occur. The partakers often assume they are talking verbally.

I have a connection with a friend and we can always tell when the other needs us. I have even woken up in the middle of the night and known that she has needed me. It is a very comforting thing to have.

I have tried but it has never worked for me although I have a friend that I have known for 20 years and once were very close and even though we might only talk a few times a year she always senses when I am in trouble or need some support and calls to ask and every time it has been during a crisis in my life.

If it were to be that of answering one anothers questions before they were even asked, then yes...The wife and I do this all the time.

If you are speaking of thought transfers ie. telepathy, then this is also very possible as we do this as well, as she usually calls to ask me what I wanted...This is if I am wanting her to call me about something. Summonings work wonders if you know what you are doing.

Pre-empting is slight;y different. I think what the thread is more related to is the actual having of full conversations without any verbal communication. The ability to transmit and recieve thought patterns.

yeah my mom as well as my best friends wife seem to have that connection because we think about callin and next thing we know the other calls.. its wierd but it works

tried and failed , though not on purpose me and a friend's younger brother was in a van with a bunch of friends and was not talken aloud till i thought something then it was weird we would blurt out mean things aloud at each other arguing over the others g/f and it freaked our other friends out since we wernt sayen nothen , cept now & then yet we thought the who time we were talken till it was pointed out .

Have any of you read Autobiography of a Yogi, it explains most of the paranormal stuff, and how dreams or mediation can be used into telepathy. It's a really good read!!

This is possible between those with a strong connection and happens to me often enough that my friends don't even bother to tell me half of what is going through their heads any more. They automatically expect me to know. I have two close friends who just do this and they can both sense when I am upset and yet they are not close enough that they can tell exactly what I am thinking.

Unless people learn to use more of their minds other than the small amount they use, I think doing thus is impossible. And I doubt any human being has ever been smart enough to do so.

many years ago I was in a wicca 101 class, and those were the exercise games we did to exercise your psychic muscle. You can even do this with your children, to teach them to be more intuitive.

Started to practice this when I was knee high to a grasshopper. First with animals at night, later with people too. I found it helpful to use the mind talk when my foot is in my mouth. As is often the case. :)

It's definitely possible for anybody to attain, it just takes a lot or a little bit of practice, mostly depending on your family history, and usually a few other factors.

I'm a 100% sure this is possible, but I'm not sure if you can train your mind to block out others from reading your mind.

I never did it but I woudl love ot try it, I tried alot of things, I do know it is possible, that the amerindiens use to do it alot and still do at times so I beleive it is possible ot do it.

Telepathy would be great but I think the idea of it stems from the basic understanding of body language. Everyone knows the "mom" look, when you're doing something you know you shouldn't be doing and your mother/father/guardian gives you the "smarten up or I may have to beat you" look. They have an image in their own head and you get the same image, probably from reasonable assumptions based on past experience.

the women in my family are very connected in the same way and also our dreams we can actually tell when one of us has something going to happen to them good or bad. and we dream things in details and then let the other know what had happen or even going to happen.

yes - I tend to agree....I call it 'the raised eye brow syndrome'

once that happens the female becomes unstable to the point of total unpredictability

You cannot control someone's mind unless they are hypnotized from what I understand. I don't know of any other way. I have heard of talking to someone alive without using spoken words. Communicating with the dead is a whole other realm of communication.

Communicating with the dead (ghost, spirits, etc...) is the same thing as, communicating with living with your mind, although you need a lot more practice to communicate with the dead. I've heard in rare cases, naturals at communicating with dead (therefore the living as well) with their minds. It takes a great deal of concentration to do both from what I've heard, and seen. Although, I can not do it.

There are courses on this matter, but none as powerful as learning it yourself, or from an expert, or master. I'm learning it myself, so far it is extremely hard.

LadyKrystal - hypnotism doesn't control a person's mind. You can suggest things to the person's subconcious but if the subject has a deep seeded belief completely contrary to that opinion they will "snap out of it".

It's called body language. lol. You can tell what anyone is thinking if you just pay attention to the person himself... His breathing, complexion, eyes, and the way he's holding him self would be a dead give away. lol

Body language is impossible to tell if the person can't move or has trouble moving, though, because if a person has constantly weak balance the body language will be like the person trying not to fall. Body language is a way of talking with your body. While the discussion is talking about talking with your mind to communicate/ receive messages from the dead, or from long distances.

rosho - body language can include the movement of your eyes, or slight movement of the muscles surrounding your eyes, as all of these things are still part of your body.

My friend and I know what each other is thinking alot but never had a full on conversation with our minds.

Well try this stand on opposite sides of a door, and try talking with your mind...

you can easily prove that it is not just body language or reading the body, by not seeing each other and just using mind exercises. yes this can be done, though not over night, even if you get a lot of answers . you can do this with 3 people using cards. start by the two sitting in different areas, no talking. the third does'nt talk either. and selects a card with a letter, or color, etc.. shows to each the card, only the third person knows.
now heres another type of reading body languge and watching the eyes, it's called NLP.

My wife(MistressEvil) and I do that quite often. We used to joke about it, but it became so commonplace between Us we just sort of quit even mentioning it between Us.

We also finish each others sentences, do the same things at the same time, and come up with the same ideas almost simultaneously.

from what I'm reading I'm not sure if it is telepathy or, as in the case with communicating with your partners, its just that you have got to know them so well and can anticipate what they want

There are cases where you can cold read what someone is thinking it is just a matter of knowing how to read body language but it is possible to learn how to read another's mind using telepathy and will work better with someone that you already have a connection to.

I have a connection with my twin brother, we can be in different towns or across a crowded room from each other and know what the other one is thinking and speak to each other

We've used this connection to amaze friends and so on lol

Ok, I can communicate with my mother, my sister and cousin like this since very young. My cousin and sister will call me on the phone now and again and beg me to get out of their head. I do it regularly so not to lose it. I seem to have it the strongest because I practice it all the time. I am working on it with my boys now.
I have a very close friend whom I have made a very strong bond with and she and I are now able to do this as well.

My grandmother has always been able to think something and my mom will get up and do it so I think it is entirely possible that someone can read your mind

I've tried, with one friend. I could get some of what she was thinking but she couldn't get what I was thinking...Probably because she wasn't really psychically gifted.

I am sure everyone who does this has their own ways of keeping it in practice.
I, myself just use it everyday....
Usually on the way to work I will think to my cousin who is already at her job and sometimes I will think about my sister and ask her questions about something and she hates using it, so she will call me and tell me my answer and ask me to get out of her head.
Not sure if that answers your question.

I have never had a connection through my mind with friends or strangers. The only connection I have ever had has been with my twin brother.

yes infact I did attempt to do this purposly! with a friend of mine it didn't matter if it was in person or if it was over the phone we read eachothers minds, we'd finnish eachothers sentences and we would do other things like when one was in pain the other would either invisioned it! or feel it!

when i was about to pic up the phone to call her she would ring it almost every time!

and we also shared dreams everything.

I have done it with strangers, and some times it works very easily.....if they are (oh this will sound bad) weak minded....
but I try not to do that to strangers too often, it can get me into trouble...lol

yes it is possible but you need to be close cause most people aren't open to it they have walls up some on purpose and some don't even know that the walls are there.

My hubby and I talk with our minds and heart every day. He is my other half in every way. So when ever one of us thinks of some thing the other always knows about it before we talk out loud about it.

this kinda makes me ponder for have we not sometimes finish a sentence before someone has finished it. or know exactly what our other or friend is going to say before the words come from their mouth. I have not this ability but have done the things mentioned here.

before i moved back home a little over a month ago for the first time since i was 15... my brother died 6 months ago and mom was really sick with depression... well when i was "using" i wasnt good at calling mom I d go for 6 months with out calling I started getting this "feeling that I desperately need to call my mom.. and Id get busy and by the time id remeber it be too late for that night and i'd say to myself ill do it tomarrow well i started physically get sick after putting it off for a whole month longer finally i called and said mom i want to come home... and change my life..

well shed been sending thought patterns the whole time to me knowing i was coming home before i even actually knew my youngest son says mom.. geanmma is worried sick she thinks your hitchhiking home (over the mountains and that you "lost' some where in between thats when I called her and asked to come home..

I've tried it once or twice with no success. Then again, I wasnt really expecting to have any luck with it honestly. Perhaps this is part of the reason I failed. I would rather just speak my mind out loud anyway.

I do believe Wolfsbohne was onto something when he touched on body language. That is very easy to read if you know what to look for. There are subtle cues called micro expressions that give off a ton of information.

Rosho, I am very interested in how you yourself can go from not knowing how to speak with your mind, to knowing in a a time span of 3 hours?

I met One person I had an instant telepathetic link with and we exactly what the other was thinking even across the nation. Others you have to work on your link with and it becomes stronger.

There have been many times over that past few years that me and my wife have been able to communicate without saying a word.

We know wha the other wants, or will say, well before they do or say it.

It is really, really cool when we do it in front of our friends. Really freaks them out.

I personally havent experiened it .. but My oldest daughter who is 10 .. she has.. one day not too long ago I was sat downstairs ( she was upstairs) and I was thinking of how to change My front room round ( yet again)
She came down the stairs right up to Me and said " mum this is how you should do it"
gave me a detailed description on how and where I should change things to
must say her design ideas are pretty amazing too ... the new layout looks awesum :)

i do this with my daughter and mother i just know when they will call and when we are together we dont have to talk sometimes because we know what eachother is thinking it is amazing sometimes how right on we get it and we use to do the mind game and would be able to guess what color or number or what object one of the other was thinking

for those of you that say you've done this with 'whoever' and you anticipate what they are gonna say/do........have you given much thought to the amout of times you guessed wrong.......I guess not..!

sorry, my point in that last post being...if you guess a few times, eventually you will get it right, this is not telepathy but a lucky guess - law of averages..!!
