Do you think Demons can betray you?
I know most of you do not understand Demons or the word Demon

What do you think about Demon possession do you think you can really be possessed?

Demon possession - that is, a human who has become inhabited or "taken over" by a demon and who cannot, consequently, exercise his own will - is noted in the New Testament, specifically in Mark, Chapter 5, ver. 12. Josephus also mentions a method of exorcism prescribed by Solomon, which had "prevailed or succeeded greatly among them down to the present time." Unfortunately, Josephus does not describe the method used.

7 yrs ago i was possesed yes , it can happen, i was walking with my friend to her apartment we , did a sayonse, and something came inside me when we asked give us a sign. suddenly i felt it was not me like something there viberating inside me so we ran to our high priest , friend hes a wiccan, one of our former leaders, and took it out of me after it happend i cryed for a long time i been fear of spirtis and demons since. is not pleasent thing to happen either.

yes I believe that demons can become attached to us. Through depression, etc.

I believe demond posetion is very possible, there have been storys about people being taken over by them. i think any one can be attacked but i think people with a mental illness are more likely to be targeted

I believe that demon possesion can happen. I had a friend that would change the tone in his voice and do strange things at times. At first I thought that it was just an alternate personality but later found out that he had been posessed by a demon.

I to believe that demon possesion is possible. i have had no personal encounters that i am aware of. very interesting cheetahcry.

i think demons can posess bodies,but rarely.

and i have a friend who was posessed by a demon.he almost killed himself without knowing,and then attempted to kill his girlfriend.but he was not himself at the time,you could tell by his eyes.

demons are refered to by christians as foul unclean things but since they change things to suit their own needs i think demons could be useful if nothing else.

i have study on demons...or fallen angels for years...
if you read on them you will find that angels fell for many reason....some fell in-love with the daughters of adam....is some text you find tha satan fell because he would not bow down to adam when god commanded him to, satan didn't want to bow to anyone but god....and that was one of their comandments... there are various reason.....so i'm not so sure they are even evil.....maybe just pissed....

The only encounter I recall regarding demons was as a child...my sister was really sick and had a lot of nightmares, and through the suggestion of a friend, my mom allowed some preacher to come to our house, to pray and 'cast the demons out'...we were all freaked out by the guy, and my mom threw him out...My sister was later diagnosed with having really bad asthma... not demonic possession, thank the Goddess.

Yes demon possesion can happen. It happened to my HPS when she was doing a banishing for someone else. It took her awhile to get rid of it but she was able to do it

That is a very good point. if a demon is going to become attached to someone, it is going to be at there most vulnerable moment. Such as extreme depression and sadness. If depression can spark poltergeist, then I believe it can attract demons as well.

Interesting, but as a psychologist I have my doubts. Has anyone studied the DSM-IV? You can get it at most University book stores. The scary thing is the churches causing more harm on mentally challenged individuals doing excorsisms and thinking that they were possessed.

i know of a house that i believe contains three demons,and i've gotten hurt in it before.they left clawmarks and such on my skin.it wasn't pretty.

There are daemons, I deal with them often with Solomon and if you not do things correctly they can get loose and float in many ways. They are real and dangerous.

Das Wolf I had studied that a long time ago when the psychologist told me that I had major depression and post tramatic syndrome because of thinsg that happened to me 9 yrs ago but in fact I think it was caused by the demons that possesed me because they were around me at the time to make my life a living hell. Adventually they no longer exist now because I got stronger and pushed them aside and now know how to deal with things better in life so that the so called demons wouldn't come back to posses my spirit or mind.

I think spiritual/demonic possession of any kind is possible--though there are those out there who believe symptoms and behaviors once felt to be related to demonic possession are related to disturbances in brain chemistry. And that people who believe in demonic possession are the only ones who experience it. A non-believer is unlikely to experience demonic possession.

Yes i do believe demon possession is possible.. No offense but do not let it happen to me.. I like to just be one being.. lol

I believe possession can happen and that it almost happend to me, I was for months being attacked by something dark. Near the very end of all this I was a nervous wreck and honestly I thought I was going quite mad, I even asked my Mother to take me to the doctor because I though I was having a nervous break down. She had never seen me in this state before and asked a local witch for help, luckily they knew what was going on and did not think I was losing my mind and agreed to help shortly after this the attack stopped .

Yes I believe they are capable of betrayal, there not exactly good beings are they?

I belive that alot of mental illnesses are actually demons feeding on our souls.

did you do anything about it or did you have to leave with it? if you just lived with it, how was it? did the evil spirit go out of its way to hurt you?

I believe that there is a possiblity that Demons can indeed possess people. There are just too many documentations as to this happening. On the other side of the coin, I also believe there is merit to medical and mental disorders being the cause of some of these documented possessions.

I have heard of people performing spells to enslave demons. I doubt that is true because I am an unbeliever of such things.

But what I have heard is that once the demon is enslaved, it kind of pisses them off. They will befriend you and wait until you grow used to and comfortable with them, and relax your guard. Then they will kill their enslaver. From everything I have ever read concerning demons, they do not appreciate doing the bidding of the likes of us. They prefer the kind of thing called free will. But the weird thing is in order to get a demon to do something for you, you have to sacrifice something to them or pay them with something they want. But there is where it gets tricky. You can never tell if a demon is going to give you what you bargained for.

Do I believe in demon possession? Well, if I believed in demons, then I would have to say yes. I do, however think the person would have to be open to the possession. Meaning, their aura and soul would have to be just as black and open to suggestions. In other words, they would have to be an evil person. I don't think that a demon can just possess anyone.

I often wonder as it is possible to be demon possessed if we have to give permission to the demon because its dealing with the soul or if they can freely just take what is not given?

I do believe that you can be posessed, I have heard of it so much. But I cant honestly say either way because its never happened to me and I hope it never does.

i do believe demons can betray and go against you if you do not give them what they want for their bidding to do your work is always at a price be it your soul or something less i think those who work with demons need to fully understand them and what they can do before summoning or conjuring such as mentioned in the goetia

i think demons go after those who are tempted easily and who are very weak minded.

one who is eager to have but with stupidity in not knowing what they are dealing with will easily become a target for possession.

Demon possession? OF course. When we are at our weakest...the more susceptible you are to being taken over i think also has to do in how much you believe in them. If you give them power over you they will take it

Everybody keeps talking about demonic possesion like its a bad thing. That almost hurts my feelings. :-)

Demon possession Is very real and to many exorcism cases not to be.I have not been possessed but I studied Demonology for years I have even dealt with a "so called possessed person"And did i vanquish the demon?
No i did not I left that person alone when they were in so called demon mode.
Are they cured? I don't know I moved two states away with out even telling them even though they were very close to me.

Demons are very real. Though whether or not they are truely "evil" I cannot say. It is my belief that they exist soley because good does exist in the universe, and they exist soley to serve themselves, even in cases of demonic possision it is just another way for them to futhur their own ends

I agree with PsiVamp that a lot of mental illnesses can be mistaken for posession.

I believe posession is possible, but not necesarily the way it is portrayed in film/tv. My opinion on the matter is that the human mind can surrender to external spiritual forces (good or evil) for as long as it chooses. Once it decides it wants control again, it can reclaim it. I've experienced something of this sort a few times in my life, but only when I was willing to give up control. I believe the mind always has a choice.

If it's a demon, and you have somehow managed to be in contact with it. Yes eventually it is going to mess with you and betray you. Demons are pure evil. They have only existed in spirit form as well...Here is a good site on the topic.

I think that a demon by nature would have a lack of morals so would simply do whatever the hell it wants no matter if it harms someone or not, after all why would it care?

Yes, I believe you can be possessed by demons and even some entities. Yes they will betray you and manipulate you and things in your life to happen to cause a change and generally most times very disasterous changes!!

There are many ways to do with demons and push them out of your life and start fixing what they have torn apart and things can be fixed just sometimes takes time to do so though.

I think that majority of times daemons are inside of us, we fight with them but sometimes we can't

Just makes me wonder , because nowadays people have more information , and these type of things as exorcisms dont happen that much , and when people didnt had information , or the knowledge to explain something , they would say whatever explanation to a certain happening.

I am positive demon possesion can occur however, I also believe the body must be at least partly willing to accept hte demon into their form.

I think demons can definitely betray you. I think that's how they can possess you. They give you false promises, make you open up, and then they get inside...then, you're royally screwed.

Though, The term 'Demon Possessed' has so many negative connotations, that I really am not a fan of it, Though, most frequently, it's the fitting term.

I am a testimony to the positive outcome of this. For eight years now, I have used my body to coexist with a single entity that many would consider to be a 'demon'. This was entirely by my choice. He is like my Brother, has saved my life on a number of occasions, and imparted much wisdom to me.

Does he have the capability to betray me? Yes, Everything, Everyone does. Do I believe he will? No, This long, all I know, I have died before, and he assisted in my Resurrection, kept everyone from knowing I was dead in that time.

Do I think they exsist.Yes with out a doubt. have i ever been possessed, No I haven't. But i ahve had the unpleasant experience to have to del with someone who home was. It not very often that something makes me feel uneast, but walking into this house last thanksgiving about put me on my ass.
Never have I everfelt so much evil in one place.
I couldnt even stay in this house I had to leave and was sosick for days after wards.

i have seen my cousin possesed it was scary i had strange things happen to me ones i dont like to share and people tell me i did stuff and not remembering it but to be honest i have a terrible memory i dont think i was possessed probally just my mind playing tricks on me

Most definitely a magus can be possessed. I'm sure Choronzon has already possessed me. But, the dangerous part is when they keep it from you, but still control you.

I think it can happen but i think you would have to come in contact with the demon first so either trying to pull it out of someone else or possible dark magic or going somewhere dark magic was preformed.

I believe people can be possessed by demons. I believe that people who are hypersensitive or extremely depressed can be subject to demon possession. Just my opinion.

I believe that one is as likely to be possessed by a demon as they are to be possessed by Bugs Bunny or Marvin Martian. The evidence will bear this out.

The word demon did not originally mean what it does now and some say in certain circles it is fallen angels but that is just one view. They may have been called that but I think it was a statement of prejudice. I know there are exorcisms but no one knows what they were even if a name was quoted. Most go toward their religious belief. Quite frankly I haven't decided.

Whatever they may be I think the person allows them in or they are something caused by the person themselves. Certain practices have been blamed for this and I don't think it is the action I think it is uneducated action.

I feel that a demon possession is possible but I also feel that PsiVampire has a point as well that it could have been an illness in times as well. I have yet to meet someone that is actually possessed or has been.

I'm a skeptic, so I think it may be possible. Though, I admit that I don't know enough about such matters.
