Now this is not a dig at religion, as this is not alowed but, the Vatican in Rome, in their basements and whatever they have down there. How much stuff over the time that they have been around, have they hoarded and not showen the world, for example, Marry Magdalines grave, the final resting place of Jesus, manurscripes of the old, Nights templar armor. Things that have thought to be lost but are there.
Now i know i have no proof what so ever but i can bet you that its all there.
What do you think? Should it be able to be seen in a museum?
Yes I think that what is kept should be able to viewed in a museum. There are so many other artifacts that have been discovered that are placed in a museum, so why should the things that the Vatican keeps not be included.
yeah
the vestry i imagine has a lot of stuff they could sell to help misfortunates
Well first your question makes the assumption that we don't already have some of those things. I agree there is much more to be found but come on we've only had the science of archeology for about 120 years, we have 10,000 years of written history.
Even from Roman accounts Jesus was buried and then went poof, there is no real evidence he was moved. We're on a vampire site so why can't a spiritually enlightened guy disappear?
I concede that the grave of Marry M. has a lot of controversy around it but ask yourself what finding her grave would do? If we find it are we gonna find the lost family line and the Roman empire will be re-established as the world finds eternal peace? No, it'll answer where she was buried and maybe give us some insight into her world.
As for Nights Templar armor, we already have some.
Old scrolls, I'm sure there are tons we don't have and others which are being hidden for whatever reason. In the end however, you have to think old scroll+little water = lots of dirt.
In the end there are some things that aren't being shown, most lie within Muslim nations. But there are far more things we just don't have. I understand the need for mystery and skepticism but there is a line we must be careful not to cross.
As to should they be in a museum? Yes, I think they should. In my opinion there is no greater sin nor crime than hiding information that may better humanity.
I like what you have put there Xxavior
very true
also. it is proven that in those days....sorry, i am having a memory block..
the holy mary wore blue
well there was no way they had the menas to dye clothes.....
Some of those artifacts were saved from destruction during various horde invasions and world wars.
Much of the "treasure" is on display. Vatican wealth reaches far beyond the art --- it's in offshore accounts and real estate.
The only "proof" I'm interested in is of the supposed marriage between Jesus and Magdalene, and a line tracing their progeny, if any.
Also, it would be cool if she remarried. Widows did that in those days, and she probably had a lot of male protectors. New husband after Jesus. Wow. Talk about measuring up. Also the possibility of a blended family. Sibling rivalry. Shakespeare worthy stories.
i think that it should be seen too, because the lies have gone on long enough. it is difficult but fun to imagine a world where the fundamentalists backpeddle... who am i kidding to admit a flaw is to refute everything. no matter what proof is displayed, some devout beleivers won't change their mind because of lowsy evidence. pffft.
Knights Templars with a K
Catholic Church has one rule...their way or no way
They have more secrets then many normal human will ever know. They have hidden and will continue to hide alot of things from the outside world.
yeah, true darkwolfman
ive an uncle who trained as a roman catholic priest...
after....so long
he came out of the *faith*
corruption wasnt the reason he went in.....
I think it should be shown in a museum.
Just keeping it in hiding and away from the public is just asking people to break in and see it for themselves.
I don't doubt one bit that they are hiding important treasures. & yes I believe they should be available to the public, it's everyones history, not just theirs
Too X -
It would solve the whole holy grail theory, as im sure ive said somewhere before, that marry m's womb was and still is the holy grail, although long gone i know! but what is steeped in history is like history should be covered in dust. but wouldnt it be nice to see it? and maybe there will be evidence of vamires you never know unless their vaults are opened up to the public. It would just be purely fasinating to see. as for we've only had arciology for so many years i do not believe that to be true, for some reason or another.
I am simply facinated with history and would like to know whats down there. and i know that no where in the near future will this happen.
(sorry for typos)
Until Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code came out...no one ever said The Holy Grail was her womb.
It was always believed to be a chalise or cup.
Yes i know, but it does make sence doesnt it, and recalling the story of Jesus and marry m, she was supposed to be a prositute. This is down to Jesus sleeping with her! 2 and 2 here does make 4 take a look at the last supper print, if your looking at it the guy to the left of Jesus is accually Marry M and the conection there is that it leaves a V between Jesus and Marry to the left.
well that depends on if people can respect what they are seeing. A lot of people do not care for things they way they need to be cared for. I have seen a lot of stuff I am sure if the church has papers from that many years ago they are very frail think about it paper doesn't last that long so anything written can not be shown to the public with out destroying it. Now Catholic's are big on holy ground and not disgracing a grave sight they are not going to make them tourist traps.
If you were dead and buried for over a couple hundred years would you want people walking all over your remains? I want to go back to the earth but that thought would still bug me a little.
I'm not going to get into the whole Dan Brown controversy, but I will agree that the Vatican likely has a LOT of things they're hiding from us both out of greed and out of need. After all, what better way to preserve your religion and power than hide all evidence to the contrary in your private vaults? They should indeed be on public display in a museum somewhere, but isn't it entirely likely that some of the things they have down there have the potential to undermine the very foundations of their religion?
we are all walking over graves but thats besides the point, as for the paper i agree but theres got to be a person willing to rewrite it, it could change history. we could learn something new?
It's not about rewriting the texts (or at least that's what I've gathered...). The problem is the scrolls will turn to dust if disturbed. Paper that's been sitting around for so long will crumble if it's touched, and the text will be lost forever...
I would say that there are more than we could even imagine hidden with the vatican and the catholic church. There is alot about the DaVinci Code that I agree with and many other movies that speculate about the Catholic Church in Rome. Like for instance, things that are speculated about Mary Magdalene actually being the wife of Jesus, instead of a prostitute. Things like that I can imagine would throw a hell of a loop in their beliefs. Watch the movie Stigmata. One of the Bishops was ready to kill the girl who was possessed by a priest because she was suffering the Stigmata, and he didn't want her to be considered a saint.
Who knows? The Holy Grail might be down there, if such a thing exists. The spear that supposedly pierced Christ's side, Jesus' Robe.
They would like to think they have such things, they really would, and at sometime they have been led to believe it, usually by artifact people in the past, so I would lean toward it all being fabricated. The ultra secrecy is a likely reason they never had it studied, or appraised, one goblet they thought to be the oldest church relic turned out to be cheap pewter like material, possibly replaced or bought that way.. what others believed then, and what is testable now, especially if they already suspect that they have fabricated artifacts, they are likely to be less show and tell with them.
A lot of bones as well, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6588646/
Cheers queenmorbid. Yes that movie is good although i have not seen all of it, it does make one think, and yes it would destroy their beliefs.
(sorry for spelling Knights..nights lol)
Thank you for the direct question.
I can see how Marry M's tomb may be the holy grail but the "grail" is subject to wide interpretation. From what I know of history etc. I still don't see much value to finding her tomb in any rush.
I would think James, Jesus' brother, would have more to tell.
I would like to address the Vatican issue. You all must remember that the Church ruled the Western world for a thousand years and only recently has been relegated to just another "religion." The Vatican archives (all of them) are amazing places and have a great number of documents which could be useful in these types of discussions. However, given the shear volume it could take years to find many of them.
It is not my belief that the Church is deliberately hiding something. Simply having (if they do) documents in question does not warrant their release. You must understand how these types of groups work. Hell even my organization, having many documents of public interest, does not go around openly publishing them. If asked, with a GOOD reason, we will release them, the same for the Church.
I agree that they should be and I see little harm in doing it. But, again just because we want them doesn't mean they have to give em :)
They also have tombs that contain revealing matters that the churches where involved in. Things that they once wanted in the Bible burt after the underlying text was noticed they quickly "defused the text, entered the "seamless version" and locked up the earlier "Questionable Original" The fact that they hold such things as the bones of saints, and that they can have them tested, leans heavy in the direction that they have nothing Authentic Any way, they have been offered anonymous testing as well. What reason would they have for hiding things that would "possibly" support their message to the faithful. At one time all those things where on display, they toured with them.. now when science ask to investigate them, Like the Shroud of Torin.. A fabrication, they hide whatever "treasures" now because they have been shamed by the exposures.
X sorry to correct you bu i said womb and if i didnt my mind must be else where lol. but have you noticed what i said about it? about the last supper print? do you not think it makes sence? Jesus must have been burried somewhere?so's Marry M but i think they havent been found because A. They have been decicrated or B. their tombs have been moved along with bones (obviously) to somewhere only the vatican know of.
And as for letting people see documents im going to contridict myself and say that they have stuff on their own religion that would destroy all their beliefs and then they would have no power through out the world.
like all companies there must somewhere be a document to condem what they have done and is hidden away by them or destroyed.
I think those exposing, faith breaking things are what you claim to imagine they are, and at one time they claimed to have such things, yet they are fabricated and man this is getting to be about religion.. and whether there is evidence, how lame..
Things that precious should NOT be shown to the public. Think of the possible thefts or vandalism. Oh and I bet they keep the Holy Grail down there too :p
This is more about the politics of an organization and the possibility of secret treasure than the religion behind it. Which is why it's open :)
The short answer though is that there's little way for anyone to be sure whether there is knowledge hidden there that would shed light on any new beliefs.
An interesting thought would be that through siezed materials, the Vatican may (if it wasn't burned) have a rather large amount of pagan info or witchcraft text. There's so much debate on just how much witchcraft existed and how much was created to suit political ends but I think the books written by heretics of the time (and perhaps siezed by the empire of the time) would probably be the most interesting were it to exist.
Leave me alone my eyes don't work! lol
Indeed the Last Supper shows some interesting features as does a window in an old church north of London. It clearly shows a woman standing over Jesus, between 2 Apostles, raising many questions.
There may well be a place where the Vatican goes to destroy documents but to suggest they have things which would destroy Christianity is a bit of a stretch. I have seen far to many documents and spoken with to many people to think it's based on a bunch of "iffy" stuff.
Of course I see this taking us down a road which may violate VR TOS so my final thoughts will be this:
The Vatican has many things and keeps many things secret but as it says in the Bible "Let those with eyes see and those with ears hear" most people haven't the capacity to understand the infinite nature of Christianity (or several other religions) so it wold be pointless to share such knowledge. I'm not saying I understand it myself but I have the ability to at least not let it "blow my mind."
-Side Bar: You don't need to understand the fullness of anything for it to be valid. Christianity specifically offers everything a person needs to know to make it. It is for those with higher interest and deeper ideas to pursue such things as the Archives.
FelixFelix- You would be amazed at the amount of pagan documents the Vatican has. Of course before Christianity everyone had a religion of their own. About a dozen large religions, several hundred cults all had to fall to the will of the Church.
I would say it's safe to assume the Church has more knowledge of all things European from 200AD-Now, pertaining to religion and culture, then pretty much anyone.
I've heard of this church somewhere along the lines. and yes as ive feared it is going down the road of violating vr tos, so to conclude the treasure, documents and what have you like felix said about pagan and witchcraft if not already burnt they may still have, it is a part of history and would be intresting to to look at and understand, and what ever else they have locked away, it would be nice to see these things it may/not shed light on past history of the people/world. Like the Knights templar there is no evidence other than writings and storys, there must be some other evidence and i thibk they would have them.
It just intrests me.
If the thread stays away from the subject of directly questioning or debating the religion itself, then I think we're ok.
Historically, Medieval Catholic politics promoted burning of heretical texts. This included (unfortunately) ancient Mayan and Aztec texts which were believed to superior mathmatical and astronomical knowledge at the time. Who knows if copies were saved for archives. This is also what is believed to have happened to the understanding of the Mayan Calendar with it's 2012 ending.
It's tempting to think that copies containing that info still exist
They will never be shown, but they should be. I think they do not want to upset the members of the church that there is more that is being told. To me it is no different then what the Goverment hides from the American Country. I guess as the saying goes if it is fixed why break it.
National Geographic had a fascinating article on the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Gospels of Mary, their discovery, their disappearance for decades, their being bought and sold and restored. Some of them were just crumbs, but have been painstakingly pieced together.
My point for this discussion, is that in every era there have been so called heretical groups. The Hebrews had them, also the Moslems, and even the Hindus. The Egyptians had their sun god nut king, who was fortunate to be Pharoah, otherwise he wouldn't have lasted as long.
One group always sought to squelch the others through the destruction of knowledge and icons, and as a result, documents, art and artifacts were hidden. That's how the Dead Sea Scrolls were "lost," and it's also how much of Afghanistan's art, much of it reflecting a cross-section of beliefs and cultures since the area was a trading hub--- to save it from being destroyed by the Taliban --- was also hidden.
Never doubt the mercenary impulse over the religious one. There is probably more legendary and historical documentation, art and artifacts in private holdings than in religious ones.
Sadly, what happens is that the key --- the Rosetta Stone --- for understanding much of this work, fades. I just don't believe, at this juncture of the world's development, that the Vatican even understands what it may have or not have.
Great point. The idea that the vatican archives could contain huge keys of knowledge but not the awareness of their value or the means of translation.
All the things captured in crusades, text, tomes, relics, I could see the purpose of holding such things in "treasure", if ever the Popes Peeps Need to Spin some new revelation in a faith other then theirs they will be able to utilize those documents, or tomes, to get at the roots of the other groups doctrine.
I believe the Catholic Church is hiding countless amounts of treasure and information that would in the long run destroy the believes of the millions of followers that they have and if this is not the case, why hide them and not put the things they do have on public display, for the whole world to see and for them to be scientifically analyzed and studied.
They did for some time, yet they where challenged by some of the countries they tried to tour, when they shunned the challenges, people where flocking to pay money to see the toured relics.. some countries find that to be a racket.. I think they are right..
I honestly think that there are hidden letters, papers, and scrolls that they don't want anyone to see. Personally, I feel that everything that is hidden like this should be brought out and displayed for all to see.
Myself I would love to see everything in a musesum, yet i would also worry that too many whacko jobs out there may try to steal the stuff and then it would be lost forever to anyone that really cared about the stuff...
Still would be nice to see all the things they do have ...
When it becomes a "Holy Road Side Attraction" , I think they would do best to avoid charging for admittance, that would really show that it is done in an altruistic manner.
Actually some of the collection is open to the public. You can go there and view it in person. They have also been known to allow peices to leave and be on display in museums.
I do think it's possible that the holy grail pertains to Marry Magdaline. I mean it would make since. Contrary to popular belief she was not a prostitute. She was a High Priestess of a local order. At that time it was a common practice for the priestesses to sleep with men.
The priestesses were probably in hiding by Jesus' time. At one time, they got to sleep with everyone. There's a good chance Magdalene was a prostitute --- time and circumstances. I like the story of the two of them hooking up better this way.
For historical purposes, I believe any relics from the past should be revealed.... so we can learn what our past may have been.
but what about all the Historical treasures destroyed by the church.....
I'm sure much of humanity's past has been lost or hidden because someone in power feared these relics would cause other to question the established truths....
As has been said, every religion that was in power at one time or another sought to destroy or at the least push down competing religions. Politics and war has surely done the other half of that equation by burning whole cities to the ground with all the artifacts therein.
The Crusades picked and selected things, usually only things that had Historic Context Value was kept as supporting "evidence" or artifact.
It would be great to have many of the Vatican's and also other treasures hidden in monasteries, temples, etc. But the reality of it is this most religious factions don't want to share such treasures with the rest of the world. Others are afraid that treasure seekers will try to steal the items and sell them on the black market, and as for treasures in the Vatican that come from other religious factions will be fought over. Think if the Vatican had a lot of Muslim, Jewish or pagan artifacts the fights that would ensue over getting back items that they believe are rightfully theirs.
I think they should show it off. So we have more of a sense of whats rael, and whats just folk lore..
All these artifacts and treasures would be a great advantage to the knowlege of human kind, We know the aztecs exsisted because of their magnificant buildings and the writings on the walls inside as the egyptions. We would gain much knowlege of the stars from the aztecs and mians. but there are none or very few documents that have been discovered and locked away that we could learn from. i just wonder why they are not on display. Another, take atlantis, did it ever exsist? To me it had to because where did the idea come from? so many questions could be answered if we could get into the vaults, im not saying they have them there but theres always possibilities of them being there right?
KaddaveR
Yes i would, if it was genuine, and would benifit human knowlege about the past yes, why is there any point in hidding these, what joy is it going to bring you?
same question to you? would you?
it better having it collect dust for everyone to view than collecting dust in your home or a vault locked away forever and forgotten about.
Yes it is, and i do agree that there will always be arseholes and good people.
A qestion to you KaddaveR -
What joy would it bring you to have these artifacts and not share them with people that understand and want to learn? why would you do this?
if only it were just one generation of horders...
if only it was weren't buried in a tomb
but alas this wouldn't be the first time that treasures have been hijacked by the unworthy and locked away ne'er to see the light of day.
And to answer your question:
I said I WOULD share it with people who understand and will use and can use that information...
True but why sacrifice that the others are intrested in? Why make people wonder untill it kills them?
my question still stand what joy would it bring you to keep these things from others that are intrested in them?
If I can jump in here, we keep things from people so they don't hurt themselves. As bad as that may sound it's true even religious knowledge can be as deadly as the power to make nuclear bombs, the technology is all around us but you don't see people just handing out uranium.
I'm with Kaddaver when he said "contradiction" I am appalled when things are keep secret but at the same time I'd be just as upset if they were let out. Those of us actively engaging in this conversation may have the ability to understand and put to good use the knowledge which may be hidden but most people can't. The individual is a genius, the group are sheep.
Would honestly want a bunch of sheep to know these things? What would be the point? It would only bring chaos.
In Israel and elsewhere, many historians are convinced that the Temple menorah and further Jewish treasures from the Temple are being hidden in the Vatican.
Perhaps they(The Vatican) are thinking that these treasures would possibly disprove the divinity of Jesus Christ and negatively impact of all Chistian & Catholic beliefs/scriptures as they have been taught for almost 2000 Years.
Their concerns lay in reburying (hiding) the these treasures, along with their theories and interpretations, that have created a plethora of confusion for those searching for the truth.
KaddaveR
Im not bothered if the next person knows more than me, im a complete an utter dumbass, but it doesnt bother me. on the contry, i would love to expand my knowlege but im happy with what i know. Yes you did answer my Question knowlege does = power, and some people are power hungry, and like you said it brings you sorrow from doing this(unless im missing the point) but would you rather be happy and share that knowlege and be happy that someone has learnt something from you?
I think that they should be seen by all..but on the other hand some secrets are better left dead and buried.
KaddaveR
Sorry for that you have already answered that.
but yes they should be shared within the people that are intrested in them, like you said.
For those who would like to see those things who find comfort or faith in religion of that sort they should be able to see those things. It isn't fair what all this world hides from everyone and this certainly isn't fair to those believers out there.
Yeah it is they need to be showen, the knowlege of the past may kill all faith, or it may not. but it would be great advantage to us to the ones who want to learn about the past.
If knowledge of the true past will kill faith, then isn't it rather IMPORTANT to reveal the past? Faith in a lie is bad, mmkay?
That is true, but most people who do have faith and who do not believe probably wouldn't go look at it seeing as my family "Christians" wouldn't even watch The Di Vinci code so I don't know, but still it would be good for those who would like to see those things. I believe man to be deceitful and furthermore lying about what could have happened or what did happen.
We cant go down this road again, as we are heading the same way as before,
What i will say is that the keeps of this are not going to let it out due to this fact! but thats because they are selfish! but any how it should be on display.
I think the fact that they have already had relics and artifacts exposed as paste or inaccurate, has made them, show and tell shy. As it rightfully should, buying , stealing or fabricating things that are not real, then going around exposing other faiths relics, and artifacts, they get the pie they served themselves.
Yeah but there will always be people stealing them, or remaking them to look the same, and why not show off other religion artifacts? there all the same blood religion!
check out the list here.
http://www.infoplease.com/ce6/world/A0861754.html
Should people be charged, or have to attend a mass, to see it?
Very intresting Dabbler, and what i have been saying all along it states
'The museums, however, house only part of the Vatican's treasure.'
from the web address above.
it just shows there is more stuff there
Right so what is claimed to be there is suspect, if what is shown is just as suspect, considering the fabrication clause (that the Vatican is not subject to.) any musuem can place on display a fabricated copy of an artifact or painting .. as long as they possess the original, or in the case of traveling displays, mark it as such for the host knowledge. They seek to leak that they have treasures (usually pertaining to church historical "evidence". so one would ask, why keep it locked away or limit the display? If it is a "smoking gun"? because they have reason to believe it to be not authentic. case in point the shroud, one moment they are giving it to anybody to test, then when a high tech team comes out, one not hired by the "owners" they seal it up.
Exactly, it doesnt take a geniues to copy if they have the origional. and yes many art galleries do, do this because of the idea of thieft.
Now what i am saying here is that copies are fine, but only if they resemble the orgional to the greatist of detail and i mean nye on perfect.
Sad as it is that people would steal them for money. but if fabricating the item in hand means that the orginal is safe then so be it.
So as well, there is also the fact that way back, fabrications have been passed of as authentic, they have purged the Vatican, and even some popular collections because of this. So the vatican with significant attachment to things being what they claim them, and having things already once displayed, pull them back into unshown areas.. suspicion ? yes I am.. and so are other scholars that seek to verify claimed items (previously shown) that could verify dates to historic church events that did or did not occur.
Very true but i am sure the vacticans have had tested these to the highest level. i know there not that stupid to get a relic that is a fabrication of the real thing. or so on the contrediction, the vatican may have fabricated these artifacts, changed them in a way that the unseen eye, does not know the real story. Therefore changing the history. and kept or destroyed the real thing.
When historical significance is claimed to be confirmed by something fabricated the event is then likely made up.
Yes but you can always tell a fabrication unless tests are done and the materials used to make this come from around the same era as what the origonal did. Then you are right ou cannot tell and people know these fabrication or the real thing to be true.
Another possibility could be that the artifacts that have been verified as being fakes of which the Vatican has allowed museums to place on display, are placed there intentionally.
It would be a great way of diffusing curiousity about Vatican treasure as well as a way of getting rid of any false artifacts that they may have had.
Only release that which you know is false - everyone will think everything else that the Vatican has is falsified, and people won't be as apt to think anything worth anything is contained by the Vatican.
You are right in your assumptions. The Vatican holds perhaps the largest library of books in the entire world. This would books that are off limits to most Vatican personnel. There are rooms that are sealed off that contain relics, antiques etc.
Imagine a collector, now imagine a collector that goes on for thousands of years!

Although i am not a christian, nor have any ties to the Vatican, i do believe those items kept hidden should be put in a museum for the followers of thier religion to view.
Many may hold those items sacred and really would like to see some sort of evidential proof about bible stories and what not...
Like i said i was born Jewish, i practice Wiccan so i do not know much, but if it were my religion id want the same thing
Their are scientist that are believes, thier are other areas of study with believers as well, they would like to have factual evidence to study to build a time line with. I think the Vatican lost its selective right to present the artifacts and that is the key to making them define their religion more like other religions.
Very good point, we do not need a religion that passes up all others in this world, hence why religion is not my favorite topic, its rather political in a sense.
I don't think that the Vatican has lost any rights to present any artifacts - I think they choose simply not to, for a plethora of reasons. All of which are theoretical. They truth is, we don't know. Personally, however, I really do feel it is more about the diffusing of knowledge more than anything else. To give up what the Vatican possibly knew to be fakes for examination and study seems more likely, and probable to me. As I stated earlier, what better way to diffuse curiosity than that? People would more likely think that what they DO have in their possession WOULD be fake, if that were the case.
Also, in essence, all religions are the same, dabbler. They all have rules on how they feel one must live in order to live a good life, they all have a higher power, and they all have a place that they aspire to, after death. It is simply people that make the differences, really, when you look at the bare bones of it all.
Vespers -
You are right in a way that them havin fakes would put off others that might want to steal them. but as a long shot, propper con artists, theives that have been in the cycle for a long time could still find a way to sell them as real genuine artifacts.
There has to be proof of what the bible has said. I mean would you go around believing Alice in wonderland? The whole point is to learn from these artifacts that we will never be able to see.
No, I am not saying that by placing out fake artifacts would stop someone from stealing.
What I am saying is that by placing out fake artifacts could be a way of making people think that what they, the Vatican, DO have in their vaults, rooms, etc.. very well could ALSO be fake, which in essence, would stop people from wanting to see, study, examine, or be curious about what they still have that is off limits.
It would be like this: I am a collector, lets say. And what I have are anomoulous artifacts they don't make sense in the time line of evolution. But I don't let anyone see what I have, and everyone is curious. So lets say I have had my collection studied privately, and some of what I have is indeed fakes. But some of what I have isn't. So to quell everyones curiousity, I let those artifacts of mine that are fake, be viewed and studied publically. Everyone would see that they were fake, perhaps than making people think whatever else that is in my collection would also be fake. Hence, diffusing curiousity and knowledge.
Know what I mean?
i think that they would take others both some like the spear of destiny and the ark of the covenite before templar armor
Ahh ok yeah sorry i do get it now. im getting tired.
yes very true, by that they are being selfish and not wanting people to find out that they have stuff on history that we and arciologists do not know or know but dont have any proof. which in a way is killing people because they want to know and strive from day to day reading and searching for texts and artifact to prove their point.
I beleive some of it yes but then again you must know that whatever is put in museams might be sstolen so yeah....
of coarse we all know it may be, but i would end up back in a museum some day.
Fake artifacts to give evidence of fake doctrine. Those that are geniune seem to also give stenght to other religions doctrines, doctrines that other religions share.. gee now why would those not be displayed?
Hmm dabbler i wonder? But it would be he perfect weapon against other religions. however they still need to be seen to gain knowlee of why these came and went, and what other races co-exsisted with the hhumans?
It is the fact to me that once they where on display, but as those in the faith started seeking verification.. they slowly became less of a road side attraction.
Indeed dabbler but that was then and this is now more cats are being killed by curiosity and wanting to learn about the old.
