Janette has the best vampire movie post so i decided to do the worst vampire movie post. tell me what vampire movie was so bad that it made you weep with pity for the people that actually paid money to see it. the worst one i've seen would have to be legions of the dead. the plot was disgusting and it made vampires look weak.
wihout question Blackula....I collect cheese movies....the worse they are the better for my collection....and I got rid of this one..just too garbage
LOL.....Daermon....I was going to say Blackula also when I saw the subject of this discussion.....looks like you beat me to it.
if only I could remember the damed title of it.... don't give me any grief over it, my therapist earned a fortune erasing it from my memory
The movie is less than 10 years old, american, based some what in south america..... so bad in one scene in the back ground you see one of the other vampires fangs fall out......
And yet, being a mashochist (spelling sorry) I watched it to the end... in the hope it would have improved.... only to face more disappointment, as I would never get that 1.5 hours of my wasted time back to my life :P
I think the stupidest ones i've seen are Fright Night and think it's called Once Bitten with Jim Carey.
nooooooooooooo I loved the jim carey one, only becasue I laughed so much :P
no quality at all though hehe
I'm sorry but that movie was awful... about as bad as earth girls are easy
From dusk till dawn 2 and 3.... The first was very good.
omg pandora, not earth girls are easy too!!!!
You're crushing my world!
*winks*
the worst movie i've ever seen is a frensh movie i've seen in the "fête du cinéma" (u can transl8 it with 'theater party': during 3 days, all movies r 2$).
the movie is called "un jeu d'enfants" : a child's game.
4all i remember the subject had something with subnatural(maybe vampire).
the movie was so bad, after 5min, i was laughing at how bad the movie was...
and it was the funniest movie i've ever seen!!
try to figure out a movie without a scenario(or close to empty), dialogs written by a 5year's old kid drunk(and even stupider than sponge bob), with a cameraman under crack....
the movie is 1h25 long, and it needs to be filled with useless to reach that!!
kids playing 7families during 3min(looking at the clock),and the ultimate scene of the movie:
the mother is on the balcony looking down the street in the midddle of the night: 2min zoom on her face
2min view of the streets with 2 characters of the movie
2min zoom on her face again,
2min look on the empty street,
2min zooom on her again...
not a word said, a boring music...
Mine was Forsaken paid money to see it and I was really dissappointed with it..
vampires kiss
nicolas cage plays a 'vampire' and goes completely off the deep end in this almost 2 hours of my life that i'll never get back movie.
some parts are funny but not enough to torture myself or anyone i love. lol
for me it's JOHN CARPENTER'S VAMPIRES.
don't get me wrong...I liked it, but no way would have payed to see it in the theatres. The dude playing the Vampire was overacting so much, I thought he was on drugs. But other then that, it had potential.
Squid, I'm with you on that one. But moreover, I couldn't stand to watch anything with Nicolas Cage in it for years after that.
I only tolerated "The Rock" because Connery was in it, and "Gone in 60 Seconds" because Angie was in it.
Now, I have to go back and defend "Once Bitten". Yes, it's a campy, silly movie. It's Jim Carrey for crying out loud. It balances that line of "good" and "bad" movies.
I'm sure someone here loved Vampire's Kiss and... nah... ;-)
D
I must agree with the sequels and prequel’s to “From Dusk Till Dawn” however I dislike most sequels to any film specially those of direct-to-video category. Another film out of favor was “The Breed”, with such a great plot and with a second or third draft of screenplay and additional appealing narrative at least, along with healthier casting (with the exception of Bai Ling of course) and an alternative director the film could have been of some worth.
have another....
Embrace of the Vampire....
the ONLY redeeming thing.....
Alyssa Milano naked
Otherwise complete crap
Agreed. I also hated the forsaken what a god awful film * spits*
*jumps back* Hey watch where you're spitting!!!! lol
I actually have not seen many vampire movies, but the few I have seen, have been well done. And yes, I will admit it, I did like Once Bitten with Jim Carrey. So sue me!! =)
Random thought...maybe I should go out and rent a bad one so I can have something useful to put in this thread.
So far, in our Movie database here, Reign in Darkness has the lowest rating (not counting the soft-porn, lol).
If you can find this one, start there. This one deserves the Wooden Stake award.

good one jason..i totally removed draculas dog from my memory...
it was on par with blackula
(wretches violently at the memory)
Oh. My. God. I thought I had erased Blackula from my memory...but noooo, you just had to go and bring it up again. I think I actually felt some brain cells run screaming from my head.
RabdSquid I have to agree with you on that one, true it did have its funny moments, but they were few and far between. When the movie was over I just sat there staring at the screen and thinking well those are 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back, I mean I was just shocked at how crappy it was. The only thing I liked about it was how he was basically going insane, but for an avid Nick Cage fan it was highly disappointing.
this my first post here but i hated blacula as well. I rather thought once bitten cute but hey Jim carey a vampire hmmmmm. Will have too find draculas dog and wtch it to see for myself have never heard of it till today.
Cat, unless you've many many brain cells to spare ... don't do it. racula's dog will do to you what 20 years of smoking pot may not.
Oh, well. At least it'll kill the slow brain cells first ...
well, i don't know about you guys but the worst vamp movie i have ever seen has got to be subspecies 4-the masters revenge. that WAS complete and utter cack!! although blackula is pretty high on the list as well....mmmm
You just HAD to bring that "thing" of a movie back from the burn pile didn't you Knightowl!
