There are a lot of claims of being abducted by E.T.'s have you or do you know anyone who clams to have been abducted?? And if so describe what happened...

I actually do know someone who claims this...perfectly sane guy too. Do I believe in this?

I know a person that claimed to be abducted, yet when I shared with him some private matters, of things that I have been through, he is now finding peach of mind, and unraveling the events that actually happen from the events that he imagined. He has also had to deal with intense projection from his step mother, who actually insisted he was abducted (by aliens) rather then what truly happened, his mom is in denial, and uses phenomena to explain every actual (disturbing ) event in her home. Truth is she has drug users haunting her house. She has lost all custody of her children because of her behavior. I really felt for the guy he had no social skills, and he lacked esteem as well. Now he is getting ready to go to community collage next coarse. Do I believe in alien abductions? No I don't. I do know that their are situations that people will connect with such an idea though.

I have never been abducted I guess everyone has seen the movie about that guy Travis Walton who claimed he was taken up by aliens. That is about only thing I have seen other than some books where people told of experiences of theirs.

I have not been abducted but believe that we are not alone here and that there is no doubt in my mind that people are being abducted and studied...Humans would do the same thing if we found another humanoid life form in space

Nope, can't say I have. Some people have made public that they have been taken away by extraterrestials but I believe there was something else involved other than space travelers. No one I know has been abducted by space aliens, although I believe there are other intellegent beings in the universe.

I don't think we are alone in the world but I don't think that they would just come down and take us for a night so I don't believe in abductions. If they could take us to study us why wouldn't they take the smart ones.

sorry didn't mean that to say that they take the stupid ones but I am talking like noble prize winners and stuff like that. Normal the only ones to say they have been taken are ones no one would believe with out personally knowing them.

I've seen some weird stuff when I lived in Albuquerque NM that left me standing there with a "deer in the headlights" look...but I know of nobody that has been abducted.

I've seen a lot of UFOs and weird stuff considering there’s a lot of UFO sightings where I live but never been abducted though but one very strange thing happened to me once. Has anyone heard of the orbs of bright light spotted in fields where crop circles appeared in shortly after and before UFO sightings. well I was sitting in my room one night a few years ago and I swear one flew in my window so I sat and watched it kind of just hovered there I ended up lighting a smoke and burning my self with it to make sure I wasn’t sleeping it seemed like forever it hovered there then it left through my window just as it had come in.

Well no I honestly haven't. the only story I have ever heard of some0one being abducted was when actress Ann Heche disappeared and was found somewhere in I think Minnesota washing feet? She claimed she was abducted by aliens and dropped off there. Weirdo. lol

im also reserving judgment on ufo and life on other planets? maybe there is single cell life forms which may evolve like we on earth did but it would have to be in a similar solar system to ours with the right conditions for growth ? but thats just my opinion? not science fact lol

i have seen wierdness in the night skies ...anything is possable ...i truely dont believe that we are the only planet to sustain life ... i dont want to think about there being advanced life forms out there thoe.

burning skies was based on true events that happend to this guy travis ...and so many others claimed its happend to them, give it some credit yes... depending on sanity and the possabilitys of a drug users mind just freaking out hard to say. not my call unless i see it with my own eyes

I confess I too have been an alien abduction squad, Using A string of lights.. three mask, and a very odd foam object, preceeded by lots of Beer drinking by the birthday boy at his 21 birthday party, he believed he was abducted for a week, we had a hard time keeping a straight face.. we finally told him. He is looking forward to his room mates 21 birthday..

I have never been abducted, but I do believe it could happen. It is not unusual for someone to believe such a thing.

The people "Professionals" that caused the false memory epidemic they really ticked me off. All those "alternative" quack practices cause things like that to become fad.

I don't know if its something that happens or not, but I can't say I'd rule it out or flat out disbelieve someone.

I myself have never been abducted. However, I don't think that aliens would abduct people like portrayed in popular fiction.

A good friend of mine has extremely graphic dreams of being in a spaceship with other beings. She describes in vivid detail about what goes on in the spaceship and the procedures that she is put through. She is absolutely terrified of anything to do with aliens and gets panic attacks if she sees anything on TV or in stores to do with aliens.

She is upset and confused by her reaction, and says she has never had any reason to be scared of aliens. Her dreams are so vivid she has trouble when she wakes up in distinguishing between where she dreamt she was and the fact that she is in her own bed after all.

She is perfectly sane and has never had any history of psychiatric illness whatsoever.

my ex boyfriend claimed he was abducted.. He said he heard a buzzing sound from outside and when he came outside he fell unconscious on the ground and remember bony hands carrying him and setting him on a table..

I have not been, and never met a person who has been. But there sure has been a lot of hype about it. Enough to make me not be totally closed to the idea.

what about imaginable. I would say craftable as well. But imaginable.. yea I see many creative people in the abductee circle, I just wish one would come up with a variation. I mean Tabloids set a script for these people.

They do, dabbler... and rarely do we see a variation. How about we hear something original vice what we've seen in movies. Maybe then I'd be more inclined to buy into it.

I have yet to come across someone who claims to have been abducted by aliens. The only stories I know of are from the sci fi channel and the occasional documentary on the history channel deal with extra terrestrials. Too many stories though for it all to be fake, but who is to say it is by ET rather than a human organization.

I read about someone dreaming about being abducted. Here's the odd twist, he had some pain in is arm, when he had it x-rayed, it was discovered that the whole arm was out of aligment by the smallest measurement. No scar, and it was like just a nanometer off in the x-ray. It was if it was cut off and put back on.

Here's a weird actual event, I was in a coffee shop, and a young collage age female (one I have known off and on, as a person with mental instability) starts talking of being abducted, I watched my responses.. and listened.. finding the pathology of her account, directing her subtly with inquiries (for clarity) Sadly a slip in here account revealed an actual event, one involving an area that is a popular camp sight in the city. The event she said happened while she was on the streets, she is once again facing eviction, she says she is being thrown back to the aliens, and that the aliens could not get her when she was "house sitting'.

I wonder how many cases of abduction claims are suppressive constructions/confabulations.

ok I had a dream relating to an abduction I don't know if it was real I didn't see anyone but I did see a bright light and woke up with a symbol on my hand it's sort of a star but and unfinnished star does anyone on here know what that means? perhaps someone else has the other half and I'm supposed to find them!!!! thats what I instantly started thinking after about an hour or two of examinning it and showing it to my mother when she touched it it shocked her. now a days when I go to try to touch people I shock them as if I'm not supposed to touch them or like as if I either put something in them or took something form them it's really weird but their the only ones who feel it I don't feel a thing.

Me personally really do not want some ugly or cute aliens doing things to me and bringing me way up in a ship.. no way, not me, find someone else.

I don't know anyone that claims to have been. I believe that it might be possible because I believe there is life out there. After going to the UFO museum in Roswell, NM. I'm also convinced that earth has been visited at least once.

I have not been abducted to my knowledge, but who knows. I have also not met anyone claiming to have been, but I may have and not known it.

I have never been abducted, but I do know that they exsist.....I have seen a ufo twice now. And I was not alone when I saw them, so it wasnt just me that witnessed them. I know they are out there, but I have never been abducted....thankfully.

I won't completely eliminate the possibility of other lifeforms. But I also won't buy into everyone's claim of a UFO. Just because you see something in the sky does not neccessarily mean its a flying saucer sent from another planet to abduct the unsuspecting humans. :D

I think it would be awesome for someone who disbelieves gets abducted. Then watch them try to explain what happened.

How many humans need to be analysed to satisfy an alien? Doesn't make sense, unless they were conducting laboratory experiments kind of like what we do with monkeys. But we don't release them back into the wild. Abductees always live to relive the nightmare. So I don't believe it happens near the magnitude of reported events.

People want to be a member of a fraternity, they will say anything required to be part of an esoteric collective. This serves the function of social stability. It also presets the conversation, so that instead of developing conversation skills, a person can chat for hours about the experience they share, frankly this is the reason I left most religions have been devoted to in the past.

It's hard to believe abduction is possible when there is no proof that aliens exist. Although I must say it is hard to believe we'd be the only beings in the universe.

I share that middle ground. Yet with all things it is a launching pad for more extreme fringe beliefs.. it is not enough to believers that you share that point, you must accept their projection that the aliens are here, then once you accept that, you will likely adopt the next assertion, that the aliens abduct people, followed by the progression that you accept that they have been abducted, and that they are carrying an alien baby, the moment you say, "I don't know about that." They respond.. "You don't believe me." So one must question Motive for peoples claims from the get go. I find that so called Para Normal investigators seldom do such things, and it is entertaining when they put their neck out on something that folds, example the Big Foot in a freezer, and the Crypto Zoologist that got mud in the face ..

and that is why ones has to use their own faith as to believe or not to believe in the lifeforms of aliens and ubductions.

see here's the kicker, those that claim to be abducted are egotist, That is my belief.. I know it is not one that people accept easily, but it is a belief not based on faith it is based on fact. People that have dropped the facade, and developed social skills to identify their behavior as pathological.

There was a woman in a hospital that I did volunteer work at that swore she was abducted. She had odd scars on her arms and legs that she said were a result of that abduction.

She suffered from schizophrenia however so whether she did or did not experience that is questionable.

I have never been nor do I know of anyone who claims to have been abducted. I have however seen a rather uniquely strange object that held my sister and I still, from fear or by force I cant say. I will never forget it though.

Statistically speaking, aliens most likely do exist. However, I seriously doubt that they have visited earth, much less taken any humans captive.

I have not experiences being abducted, however, I do believe that many people have had this experience. There are too many planets in space for this planet to be the only planet that is inhabited with living organisms.

I'm not claiming to have been abducted but I did wake up 1 morning to find all of the hair on both of my wrists gone in a perfectly symmetrical band about 2-3 inches wide. It had not been shaved it was too smooth and it took about 4mo for it to even start to grow back. I was alone on the night in question so I know it wasn't a practical joke. I don't know of anything that gets rid of hair for that long. My doctor seemed to think it might have been some kind of fungus but it seems odd that it was in such a perfect band and just on both wrists. I'm still not going to run out and claim it was an alien abduction I'd need more proof for that. It does make me wonder though sometimes. They wouldn't have to abduct me though I'd jump at the chance to go into space.

i am a believer and do think there are individuals who have experienced these unductions,it just has not happened to me,i believe that only certain people are picked for the knowledge they hold or the characteristics they have.i am positive that there is a reason behind all ubductions.

Lady Aldien, Why is it closed minded to think that we are alone, when a significant number of claims have been retracted, a "research group" has been exposed as exploitive, would it be determental to ones mental health to have been open minded to such things?

I haven't but I know a story
of someone who got abducted.
My brother in law was in the marines
and in a field practice him and two partners
fell in a "hole" [best word he could use
to express what he felt] with his buddies.
He says they were unable to move
for a few seconds and it was very dark
even though this practice was taking
place in the daytime, around noon
when the sun is highest.
He says he told his partners to push
together in one direction an so they did.
He says they all fell forward one on top
of the other.
It seem like the experienced lasted
no more than a minute but when they
looked around it was dark.
Night time.
They were confused and scared.
They ran back to camp to find out
they were searching for the trio for the
past 4 days.
They were accused of ditching their mission
and where investigated by their superiors.
My brother in law was kicked out
and has suffered from PTS since that.
He says his partners have never
communicated with him again.

Years after the event
he underwent treatment
using hypnosis

oh and I most def
believe in this issue

I have seen UFO's

of UFO activity

i believe anything could happend in the world. life would be empty without any story going on.

why would they take us. where to primitive. the only reason why would be to see how far we have come. technology. just remember we are only now just seeing what out there in the blackness of space

I was abducted by illegal aliens...they took me to Nuevo Laredo where they forced me to drink beer and tequilla and eat the number three plate...the one with the bad flank steak. I woke up 5 days later in Merida...

still trying to figure that one out.

My sister abducted me so that i could get on a plane and fly across the country to be with the mn I lve...does that count??
