The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

There is a new link in the User Menu: Update Your Status.

Clicking this link will compute your current Status, and then update it in the database. You can click this link up to once per hour.

This is mainly for the people complaining that their status never updates. This link bypasses the Status update script.

If you click this link, and your Status is still unchanged, that means you haven't done enough yet to advance. There is nothing wrong with the computation system, so please don't message me about it. The higher you get, the harder it is to advance.

I was only wondering about it as I jumped from 20% to 80% or current level in about 2 hours and haven't moved off 80% in five days....thought there may have been a glitch....don't really care too much bout my level tho...as long as I am past the restrictions the new kiddies are gettin ;P

lol. i saw that. i have spent about 40 hrs on 70% of vampire status, which i fully understand takes many hours to progress. So i pressed it, held my breath, and still at 70%.. But it's a great idea, then people can't complain about there's not gonig up.. and as you have said Cancer, it's impossible to give someone a set amout of time and such, as to how there's will go up. Nice touch.

Well, lately the update Status script hasn't been running much... It waits until server load is low, and it hasn't been low.

whats more alarming to me is that my rating is sinknig faster than the titanic.. the number of ratings have stayed the same (number of people rating me), but a 0.001 has just dissapeared of it.. thats from 9.030 this morn, to 9.014 now.. i have only had 2 ratings since, .. very strange... puzzled..

how do you complete levels anywaz?. . .

same here dhampir, my ratings instead of going up they drop like a brick even when I've just got rated 4 or 5 times in the past week or so, I've been told that my ratings will flucuated because of the new peoples' account or people that have recently rated my profile have been deleted along with their ratings they put on my pro and port....but still I've just got rated by 3 people today and instead my rating droped, I'm concerned

Great Idea. I literally jumped from 70% of mosquito to 70% of Shadow today.

Another great idea Cancer.

It might even make things more efficent to just run from that link, as opposed to having the script automatically updating everyone's status. Might confuse people though.

My rating has been going up, Dhampir. Maybe your rating points don't like you anymore and they want to hang out with me. I give them punch and pie, and we have keggers on the weekends. :-)

I wasnt really worried wether or not I was updated I agree with daermon I'm outta the link of the new restrictions all is good .... but I sat for 3 weeks almost at unclean spirit ... but it does make sense now with the % sign there ... if you don't rate for a few days it goes down .. amuses me to say the least hehe

Well, I think its a useful tool if you are really concerned about your status, but for me I just wait and see.
