alright, i was just wondering a couple things.
1. what do you guys look for in a profile
2. what do you rate a profile on
3. which profile or profiles do you think are the best

to add to my thread, i would just like to mention that i would have to say that i look for a profile that tells some info about the person, and if it does i give them a good rating, and as for the profile that i like the best, it would have to be moreish's.

1. Im looking for some personal infos, definetly not qiuzes, cos then all profiles wud be nearly the same.... like when the person is openminded and when I can imagine if only a lil bit his personality.

2.I rate it from the visual and also the contents....

3.The best are those who dont tell lies or dont have quizes, have not self written poems... And It should have all what Im looking for in it.

info about the person, likes dislikes,were they are going in life, stuff that tells me about them

I have only really seen the profiles of those that have commented to me...

...but of those, I considered content, if I felt like I walked away knowing something; if not about the person, about something. Then I considered the lag-factor. You know about this! Where there is so much background this or gif that...and the words big...bigger...BIGGEST lagging out your viewing pleasure...how fustrating.

i rate acording to how they stack agianst my profile im at a seven if the profile is beter than mine ill give it a ten if it is almost as good a 5 6 or 7 and if its on line like ask me a one

and if i talk to the person and they are cool they get a 10

i look for info on the person, somethings that may start a convo with them, see what interests they have and what they dont like.

i rate according to the way it is presented, the content and stuff.

i dont know which is the best as i cant remember what they all look like since there are so many, sorry

I look for something anything to show a persons uniqueness.
Something to show that the person wanted to show him or herself. Some way to conenct.

just for them to be there selve. and not alot of quizes

I cant stand all the quizzes. If they just write about themselves and not use a question and answer survey , many profiles would be so much better.

About everything.I won't care if the person is good looking,I don't mind poems or quizzes.And I always rate high those who show their true self and if I find it's fake I don't rate it.

If you seem like you are full of shit or arrogant or to into yourself you get between a 4 and a 1. If remain honest, sound interesting and all that, they you will most likely get a 10. If you say, I'll add more later you get a one unless your quote is good, then you might get more

I like to see

* info about them
* graphics
* poems
* a few quizes aren't bad
* who they really are
* what they like

I like to see people that have taken time with thier profiles. If it shows charater and thier personality I am all about it.

I usually find the personal info then the quotes. after that i usually rate on the content and how much they tell of themself as for a good profile i just know it when i see it.

i look for peoples interests info about what they're like and to see if they have any cool pics

i look for good details about the person like likes, dislikes description about self ect. I also look for actual info, not u live in a cave born in something B.C bullshit! If a profile has that much and aren't full of crap i give a good rating...that's what im look for

i also look to see if the person has too many quizzes...i like ppl to describe themselves not have a quiz do it for them. i like pix and pretty colors too but thats just a plus to a profile...

I look for the unique. I look for some personal info. I look for something different from someone else. That is what I base my ratings on.

I rate things on how original they look, and I usually don't rate people unless I am going to give them anywhere from and 8 to a 10. I wouldn't want people rating me less so I don't do it to others.

What I personally look for in a profile is someone with 2-0 quizzes. That tells me nothing about you just that you went to quizilla or someother quiz site and took a quiz. Whoo-hoo. I mean don't over pack your site with them. Tell them about yourself. Give me something to read. If I like it I will rate it.

I look for personality, honesty, something informitive. all the quizes are virtualy the same, after a while its like yore reading the same profile over and over.

I rate a profile based on the amount of effort someone put into it. A profile that just says one line will not get higher then a 3.

A profile doesn’t have to be long, just show that the person put some time into it and has written something that shows what kind of person they are and creativity is always a plus.

On the other hand a profile with just lots of song lyrics, quiz’s and images will get just as low a rating as an empty profile unless there is something written by the person themselves.

I also rate on honesty. If they simply say who they are and give some straight forward information they get a higher mark then if they pretend to be 2,000 years old and from china.

:laughing: I think a profile should sum the person up. If I have no damn clue who you are you get next to nothing. If something on there strikes my fancy or makes me want to message the sky is the limit

What a person likes and dislikes, general info about them. I hate the ones that have the quizzes in them. If I wanted to take a quiz I would go to the sites myself. Anyways, just what the person has to say about themselves.

Pictures, I like to see who I am talking to. A lot of members here, include pictures of crazy things which are cool, and helped make a good profile, but do not include any photos of them self.

Captivating words, intriguing pictures, and insight on who is being portrayed..these all call for a great profile.

it seems most people look for alot fot eh same things, something to give an idea of the character of the person. And yet once again the quizes come into play. Someone new to a site my not have an idea of how to describe themselves, so here is in part where the quizes help them out to be a bit more open. They are not a bad start, but keep in mind, ya wanna post responses from quizes that are most like you. if it's not real or clashes iwth most other quizes you have well then that's a telling sign that really you're jsut kinda lazy and not willing to put anything. What gets me is some of the comments people leave jsut because a person has a few quizes and don't say as much about themselves, again without thinking about the fact that maybe some people just don't know how to describe themselves in a way that people will understand them, i've seen some comments left that are down right rude and certainly if it was me I wouldn't feel welcome here at all ... my buck fifty's worth

well like most of the ones that have posted in here i like to see info of the person, i like to see the additional photos and NO quizes or craps like that ( sorry for the ones that have that, not trying to be rude)and well i love to see the avatars.

Well this is interesting and different. I think this is a VR first where names of people appear.. they normally read with a listing of all the mods nicks lol!

Good job anyway..there are so many good profiles out there and it would be difficult to judge whose is the best without offending anyone else.

Here is what I like to see in a profile....at least one pic of yourself, age would be nice but not required, something other than hell as a location, information about yourself, I don't even mind a few quizzes and some other pics and/or original backgrounds are nice too.
