What made you catch the eye of the vamp in the first place? Why on earth did they choose you?

was it random? was it fate? could you buy it if it was? or was there a logical explination other then you were available? how would that make you feel? etc...

What do you in your day to day life that makes you excell at something to catch the notice if these critters are out there? or do you fancy yourself consigned to the idea that there is nothing out there and so you reamain in a meaningless life ? or do you get off your backside and do something productive?

Well considering the thread master vampire,

if one was in service to one, how did they get in service in the first place, what sorts of things does the individual do in their life that would justify them for something like that?

its not exactly as one is going out to the mall and then is abducted for no apparent reason if the vampire has any intent to do anything other then just eat the poor soul.

So what do you do which sets you apart from the mold. like producing works which are different then every stuff, NOT dime a dozen emo poems, not dressing in black because its sexy, etc....what possible use would you be? what would you want to be? so many questions, which do require the firing of braincells to think about.

I know what you are asking, but it still sounds as though you are reminiscent and tired of the monotonies of humdrum atmospheres.

Personally I like to think I stand alone when it comes to self descriptions and the right of individuality. I use common sense on a regular basis, I separate myself from the heard. I do not stand in line, but does this make me pompous or arrogant? That is an opinion of society. But does this make me so special in your description that I had caught the eye of the creatures of the night? I doubt it.

A resolution of I may, if the individual is unique enough from within the mind, body and spirit, then yes...They may catch the attention of certain manifestations. I think this would be where the term "indigo child" comes from.

Some individuals do catch my attention, but I rarely ever act on that fact. Would I therefore be classified as a manifestation? As I said, opinions. Of the individual, not of society. Individuality is the term that seperates the "us" from the "them."

Depends on the vampire. I'm not prey material, too much hassle, too many questions, and I don't even like to give blood to the Red Cross. If the vampire was bored and needed a good conversation, I might qualify. That could go either way; might want to shut me up.

I've no desire to live forever as a slave. I've no desire to live a single lifetime as a slave either.

I always thought being food would be an awesome way to die, but for that, the Master Vampire would have to take a rain check redeemable in about 30 or 40 years.

And yea that pretty much what it equates to but if you are going to be on a vamp site, and give this thought enough, what about what do you do that would catch your own notice if you were a vamp looking to bite someone. Would you turn someone like you? Or kill you and think nothing of it? Would you be even worth a second glance?

I’d be worth the second glance...but I don’t know if I would get one. I look pretty average....it's what is on the inside that makes me somewhat interesting...at least to some.

I feel that they seek their prey out and do not have a preference as long as it has blood pumping through the body... I mean maybe conversation ...

what would make you of note to be....made into one of them, if they caught your note? anything remarkable?

Mayhaps for the timelessness that comes with wardrobe choices, perhaps any individual that does not look to homely that shows the proper etiquette with the way they dress. That timelessness would bring out a bit of reminisces for the vampire if that is what they deem worthy.

But there are two words that may equate the right individual..."opposite attraction." These two words would signify killing the monotonous gesture society brings out.

Well, when you have immortality at your disposal, you can afford to be random in your decision making, should you choose. That being said, i would not even pretend to develop a construct of what traits prevail in this sort of hierarchy -- but I would love to know!

It's easier to answer this question in terms of what would attract me to certain humans if I were the vampire. Without qualification, and allowing for diversity in custom depending on the era, I'd say all my human choices would have a certain joie de vivre. Their love of life would be immense but so also would be their endless questing and curiousity about what life has to offer.

If you are living forever as aVampire supposely does.. Then why rush it they can be very picky and than again they could just be random...

I would think a vampyre would look closely at the adaption and intelligence of the person they are choosing. They would need to be someone they could learn or gain from. Also the person would need to be a loner to say thus they would not be missed if they disappeared. There has to be personal gain to the vampyre as per it is acting for survival, not pleasure.

were i of the immortal ilk, id look for intellect and compatibility...much as i would do with a friend....of coarse if im looking for more of a mate, i might look for a few more things LOL

i look for a certain type of person who will feed on me and i feed on them. but they cant be too dominate.

I believe its in the eyes and the aura tells them all they need to know of that person. Feelings and other emotions come into play much later on as you get used to the new person(s) around you.

I think being me. I am naturally pale and a vampyre at heart. I think other vamps can sense what I lust, what i am, my essence. What I am to my very core and will always be and they are attracted to that. At my very core I am and will always be a vampyre.

One of the only vampires I have encountered said he was attracted to me because I 'sparkled' for him and was a brilliant magenta colour. Don't ask me, I'm just saying what he said.

i would love to be immortal. As far as a vampire being attracted to me I would hope it was because my wit and personality

Attraction would be like attraction in real life, sight, sense and emotion, in the aspects of vampire it would not change except for one degree....FOOD.

Anyway, the people I take up with for feeding or to get a new servant out of the deal (god damn that sounds posh and bitchy lol) is that they have to be WILLING, clean, pretty, intelligent and open to some rather strange ideas about what is actually going on in the world they live in. Its just more fun to be semi honest and then mess with their head alittle. but hey thats just me

The first being that you proclaim to be a vampire. The second is that you have a shallow approach to whom you "choose". I do not mean to sound mocking, in fact, I find your comments intriguing... do you mean to truly imply you are of such a predatory nature and tend to choose people based on semi-superficial attributes only to make them bend to your whim as a slave or treat them as a Happy Meal?

This can be done by tapping into the universal psychic energy available to all beings which have conscious. by getting subconscious boost you can touch them from far and it will search the touching conscious automatically.

i cannot answer the question presented, but if i may try my hand at answering the question presented in the topic's name: Stand upwind of said vampire and open an artery or two. that will get the attention of said vampire of his or her desire.

In general, from my experience, with some covens, it is a group decision to allow one into the fold. All have their own reasons. Ability to keep secrets, general personality, looks, etc. Really I doubt anyone who would throw themselves at one would ever be accepted. Nor would anyone trying to fake their way in. In my experience it can take lots of time, and there is no definite "way" or "personality type" that is better accepted than others. Just try not to piss them off is my best advice.

so going on the last post, we believe that a coven or clan will be in charge of the initiation basically to enroll others. so attraction is based on the groups decision.

Sweating should help, and not washing your nethers would leave a pheromone laden trail redolent of heady blood by-products, kinda like a heated sausage.

I believe that my beloved the one who sired me and taught me about the life I now lead choose me out of love. We were together for many years before she left me. It was a long time prior to be introduced to others and before she asked me to be her donor, And a longer time before she allowed me to feed from her. I believe it was a combination of love, respect and trust.

Vampires aren't critters. They're people. Just like everyone else, though slightly different.

How do you catch their attention? The same way you would catch any normal human's. Maybe you talk to them, give them a glance, smile at them. They're not some Anne Rice-y super human who flies around at night. They're people.

I've found that there are certain people I come across who, before I even meet them, just seem to strike me for no apparent reason. Often times those individuals end up having a profound effect on my life in one way or another. I imagine if I were a vampire, I would follow that inexplicable mental pull when looking for someone to feed from.

well i'm not a vampire and have never met one... not to say i am not fascinated in them for 234 reasons. how would i attract one? well, if there were "real" vampires i would not want to be fodder, and have zero interest of being the sub-vampire slave to some vampire dude... so i guess i'd have to find out where the REAL vampire girls hang out. then again, i am very happy with my current GF and am confident she is NOT a vampire, even though she (like me) finds them fascinating. maybe if i get lucky she gets "turned" as the saying goes and in turn turns me. but i think the chance of that happening is about as likely as myself turning into a cartoon baboon pirate... oh well. i'm not trying to sound all funny or sarcastic here. immortality? sounds great. find me a REAL immortal vampire and me and my gf will be glad to be "turned". okey dokey...

I would say pretty much from any perspective; fictional, historical or subculture it would be that person that seems to be full of life. You know the type that stand out in a crowd. Sometimes they just have allure when quietly observing in a corner of the room. It is their energy that sets them apart. They have charisma. I think that would attract the vampire lurking in the shadows whether male or female. (In my opinion)
