There are two levels that no one has reached yet: Arch Sire and Royal Sire.

This is a great incentive to keep climbing but will these levels have any additional powers that a Sire under the old system had?

I was going to ask yesterday if there were any levels above Sire other then Master Vampire...good thing I waited huh.

No council or high council..

how about Elder Sires for a higher type level.......

or something to that effect. O_O

I don't intend there to be any additional powers beyond 100. 100 is the major milestone.

I like it, a leveling up for sires instead of no further movement may become stail.

I have to say that I really like having these new goals. I'm pretty competitive and this has given me even more incentive to spend time on the site. I was a bit hesitant at first about the changes but I can see the benefit it is having on all of us. I like a bit of a challenge.

I like this idea a lot. Gives us reason to keep moving. The changes are amazing!

Well I meant different levels between Sire and Master Vampire...never meant power jobs dude.Seems like a better idea then 1000 + Sires...different levels of Sire seems right.

I agree -- this is a very good update. Plus it gives all the Sires something to work towards now in regards to status. It was kind of boring just being stuck at Sire.

Upper admins no longer have an "overriding title". If you look, we're all (well, all but Nicnivian) Sires now. We have second administrative titles (The Prince, Master Vampire, Regent) just like Procurators, Dominars, and Sentorans do.

Yeah I noticed that when I saw you log on...I have been catching up with with everything that has been updated.

hmm, something to work toward... I still would like "Aspiring Sire" for the veterans members, such as myself, that are slackers.

I love the new Sire levels. It definitely gives us all something to aim for, and brings back that bit of competition that we lost once we reached Sire on the old System.

But seriously..... I am so pondering high the levels of us all can get. :D give me some thing to do, thats for sure. :D

It was a challenge before to rise in the ranks...but this...this is something I can really sink my teeth into.

When I reached Sire i had no where to go. Now I have something to strive for. I think this is great

So what if i want to remain with one of the levels say: "graverobber" or "revenant" and not ascend again?..

You can not stay at one level your time and pages viewed alone will level you up.

Yeah i know that part,its obvious; I meant what if my goal is not super mega sire. So everyone has to be destined to be a sire in few upcoming months/years?

Most people will never make sire they will get bored and almost never get on vr. But for the members that stay active yes sire status will happen some day .

No kidding...I got left behind.

Rogue and Pantervamp and I used to compete on points of favor every day and week to see who could stay ahead of the others.

When I lost my internet, I fell far behind. Now, they are all Sires (DWP, RaineVampire, etc.). My entire group that was my level are all so far ahead of me. I wonder if I can catch up. It is so hard to make a level at 75. This might take some time, but I am not giving up.

My competition simply got a massive handicap. I can still work my way out of the hole...eventually. The added levels make it far more fun and worthwhile. One level was almost impossible to get before. You sometimes lost sight of the goal. Now, they are much more attainable and keep you focused and on-track the whole way.

I will catch up...I am determined to get back to their level again. I don't feel right being left in the dust.

Only time will tell, and now it is more fun, since as many said, we are not stuck where we are, we can actually feel happy to be active, at least for me.

Great idea. I have noticed all the Sires are more active now.

Nice updates, luckily it happened a week before the summer holidays so I might get on more, oh well I am in no hurry to reach the highest status but it's nice to have it :)

Another in favour of the change here, then again i've got a loooong way to go to get into those higher echelons of Siredom so it will make it more challenging

Me personally I think the new status system is great I know I myself had been a little lazy after reaching sire I had given up on trying to rate everything because other than being able to say I had rated it all there really didn't seem to be a point to it anymore. Now it means something again as does posting and even writing in my journal which for a while I didn't do at all. With more levels now there is a little less distance between the levels so you can see your progress easier. It's kinda like the difference between driving across Texas(U.S.) and Ontario(CN.). One of the highways in TX is bout 600mi long and it seems like it takes forever. The long way across Ontario is close to that but it's marked in Kilometers about 900km but it doesn't seem to take as long because the markers go by faster. With all the bonuses you can get it enhances that even further. Under the old system the last few levels took several months for me to get through. Under the new system I jumped 2 levels in 3 days(bonuses had a lot to do with that).

I for one wanted to reach Sire just because it was something to do, but now I want to get there...just to get to the other side.

I like the new names. They are great. It got old seeing several hundred old members with the same levels all of the time. Now, there are more levels to see.

I am liking it alot more now, I seem to be leveling every night that I am on...which is a good thing. Every time I rate a certain amount, I level up. I am almost finished with the rating, so I am wondering where I will end up level wise after all is said and done regarding the ratings.
