Okay, I know there is a past life thread on here..but this isn't really what i'm asking. I am asking if you believe that Vampires/Vampyres that are alive today, are carried down. I mean same blood. I have dreams of a life I have never lived, and of people that I met in the life know, that I know.
What are your views on such a matter. Are we really "modern vampyres" or are creatures from the past?

I think we are mew age vamps and we still have or ties to the older vamps.

i believe that our souls were reincarnated,most of us were vampyre in another life,that's it's called deja vu,i go to places i've never been to and know exactley where to go and what to do,and i dream of people i don't know,then i'll meet them ,it's karma,we are who we were meant to be whether we like it or not!!!

I am with lord on this...I have also experienced some stuff similar to this and it must have some substance in a past life...How else can it be explained

I believe quite a bit in past lives due to the frequent occurances of deja vu. There are so many things you know, and who you are. Times change, that's a fact. You could easily be a reincarnated vamp of an old bloodline and be new. If you don't adapt, you will ultimately fail. So basically, I feel that we are a combination of both.

We are all reincarnated. Everyone. Not just vampires. Vampires merely become aware of their past lives.

I do not believe in reincarnation, since it does not give any creedance to the occult/esoteric side of vampyrism. In which the purpose of the living vampyre is to prepare his/her body and soul for an immortal life after the first death.

vampyres and non-vampyres have souls and it is the soul that has been reincarnated from one life to another..not their body.
some people are able to have instances where they remember part of a past life, or have that feeling they have been somewhere before or know someone from somewhere.

I agree with LaMuerte, we're all reinarnated. All those with any spiritual connections merely become aware of it

i think we are all reincarnated. there's no way possible that there are as many souls as there are lives.

i wholeheartedly believe in reincarnation as well... as far as the soul is concerned, i'd say we've all been around for a very long time lol

i think that we are modern vampires. but i think that everyone has had a past life in which you could have been any number of things including another vampire.

I belive there is a same blood thing because i have the same blood as my 2nd half life.

I've always thought of reincarnation as somewhat of a mystery. We know so much of it...and yet theres this tiny grasp out there...something hard to reach. I always felt like I was from another life time...some other decade....something I dream of....barely out of reach.

Vampires can be ither ''modern'' or vampires from another past life.

It all depends on the person.

If reincarnation exists that is not necessary a meaning that everyone is a reincarnate.Therefore it's the same with vampires sincet hey're still people.

Definatly a new age breed. Change is good at times. I believe that vampires of the past might not have truly realized what they were, and neglected alot. The new day and age understand and embrace. Dont know if that goes along with the threat, just some thaughts

actually i belive as said that you get yr influecnes from some where and the ppl you meet are not of coincidence in yr life, thus i belvie that everything is linked and that you become what you are through yr past lifes

I wouldn't mind if i came back in human form but also as a vampire with all types of powers and also can with stand day light as well just like a day walker :-)

Arvalin that's a very very deep question!! I don't know if I am from the past but I have some strange dreams that seem like a parallel type of life too. Nothing out of the ordinary in the dreams, it's just like I'm living as someone else somewhere else.... Creepy!!

i myself think that we are creatures reborn....and some of us just have the privileges to see our past lives...you can call that dreamscaping..if you are wiccan you'd know what that is..and or you have the gift of all knowing visions in other words premonitions

Some are ancient and some are new...It's a never ending evolution...

I personally think that it's the soul that carries us from one life to the next, not the blood. You can end a blood line, but it is much harder to destroy a soul.

i think that reincarnation is a religious view and can possibly be true but its like all the other religious beliefs, there is no proof of any or they wouldn't be beliefs, impossible to draw a conclusion

And deja-vu and unexplained thoughts, dreams, and visions could be wondering of the mind and astral projection

I think that some souls are reincarnated within the same blood line, and in that way do carry ancestrial knowledge. It doesn't only happen with vampires.

well yes i do belive in reincarnation because how would i have known how to find something that only someone in the 1659 had burried in the dirt to save me today from something so deadly

well, i belive that not everyone is reincarnated...but i guess some vampires are reincarnated since reincarnation exists!!

I say that we're both modern vampyres and creatures of the past. We were reincarnated from past creatures and we changed to fit into the modern society

yes reincarnation is very much true,I believe we are brought back to finish something that we started in a past life but it takes some of us a lil longer then others to figure out what we are to do,Thats why the dreams and the de javu.It's our memory taking us to places that we have been in helping us figure out our quest in life

It truly depends on the vampyre. I personally am reincarnated( I believe also that I have been a vampyre in past lives, Due to dreams of vampyrism from the current life's age of 4.) We also have to look at this; Not all are reincarnated, and not all on this site are vamps.

Some are modern others are old vamps reborn. Only through spiritual exploration will we know which is really true of ourselves.
